At his warm confirm. She pulled away slightly to look up at him and smile. "Me neither." No matter how much her friends disliked him, how much defensive he got for her.. it only seemed to draw her closer to him. Maybe it was his caring tone, his warm kiss or the mere attention he gave her. Joao seemed to know how Louisa's heart skips a beat in general.
...but he stuttered. Louisa's eyed widened in panic, she gasped quietly and held the breath in. He...can't? Taking a step away from him, she tried so hard not to blink.. her eyes would tear up so quickly and her exhaustion wouldn't help. "W-w-what.." Barely over a whisper. She swallowed and was frowning, to prevent the pout on her face, "You can't?" A humorless chuckle followed. "Good to know." She fixed her satchel on her shoulder and turned her back at him.
Why was he with her then if he couldn't promise to stay with her? He should leave already.
See, that was exactly what he had been dreading. Good for him to have landed exactly on it.
Letting out a stressed sigh, now regretting ever showing up here and waiting for her for A WHOLE HOUR, he reached out to gently turn her over and hug, if she let him.
"You've told it yourself, Louisa," so much for a Ravvie mind, "if my father is appointed at somewhere else, I have to follow him." Well, he didn't have to, exactly, but he would. And, certainly it wouldn't help to give the data of 'two years at most at the same place'.
"You cannot guarantee it to be with me forever either," he went on after a pause. "We can die at any moment, you know." And no, it wasn't a joke or anything. It was true, and she knew it too. And that was the exact reason he hated romantism--it was silly, and fully unrealistic. It only served to burden the males, and this was the last time he ever attempted it.

When his hands were on her shoulder, turning her around. She did turn around but she pushed him away, with all the left force she had. Frowning and trying not to cry, because exhaustion made people weaker, she listened to him.
"Excuses. What in the world are you doing here, then? With me. Why did you invite me over to Brazil?" She pointed a threatening finger at him and added with a shaking voice, "Are you keeping me around until life takes us apart? Is that what you're trying to say?" That was what she got from 'father appointed' and... death? O.o
Her hand dropped and she took another step backward, one humiliating tear escaping the corner of her eye before she wiped it away. "You're talking about death. Fine." Stuffing his rose into her bag, she still wanted to remember him and this rose was far too beautiful to be returned, Louisa spoke, "I'm tired. We'll talk later. You know, when you find time for me in your important schedule." Now excuse her to go and cry herself to sleep.

Well, if she wanted to push him away, he would let her. But still, he kept at a close distance and just took half a step backwards not to let her efforts of pushing go in vain.
And then he frowned in disbelief and anger flickering in his eyes for a moment, before he collected himself and threw a cold, emotionless face. She was joking, right?! Because--she couldn't, surely--that MUST be a joke and she would laugh in a moment.
Except, she cried. Or at least, a tear fell out of her eye.
"I invited you to Brazil because I bloody like you!" he snapped. He was furious. How could she be so--so silly and forgetful? So she was to do nothing in life because nothing was sure to happen? What he could gether from her rambling that was exactly her logic and he couldn't believe his ears. Of course nothing was sure, even without his father's job he was a bloody foreigner to start with, and she knew it very well since the beginning. He could be back to Brazil at any moment, and she had no right whatsoever to accuse him of dating her in his leisure time.
"Yes, it's better that we talk later," he said curtly, taking a step backwards of his own. "When you realise that you can take nothing for sure in life." With that, not even turning back to look at her, he headed to where his bag was and turned to the opposite direction of her way.
He now strongly wished he had never waited for her.

Vickers turned from the stairs and started walking down the corridor, a small parchment in hand that curiously looked like a map. From time to time he would look up then glance back down, scribbling back on the parchment when he saw something that needed modifying.

A map huh? Did he need help or something like that? Eva would be the WORST person for doing it but she managed getting through Hogwarts which was alright for HER though. Looking at the boy well looking down at the boy she opened her mouth and said "Ehh, Do you need like any help?" After saying Eva looked COMPLETELY blank at the boy as it was a strange thing for someone knew to Hogwarts to s=tell them where something was.

It was true. Whenever he returned back home it was as if everything magical had been stripped away from him, an he would just be invisible. He looked down upon his robe an saw the badge pinned into his black clothes. "A bit stressful being the first time an all...an well...umm..my co-prefect doesn't...well, let's just say she'll be angry when she sees this."
He began to wonder if Jade knew who the girl prefect was. But then again, he, as far as he could remember never mentioned Kurumi to her.
Jade wished that her Summer was as quiet as Adam's was because hers involved arguing with her parents and seeing Nikolas once in a while. "Same here." She lied. If she brought up the whole parents thing, that story would take a long time to explain and she wasn't in the mood to explain things. Wait. Stressful? How was being a prefect stressful? Jade thought that being a prefect would be the easiest thing out there, however it seemed that Adam was in a different situation. "Wait, don't you mean, Kurumi? Didn't you like her last year or something?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, trying to remember. He mentioned Kurumi once to her, but she couldn't exactly remember what it was about.

A quiet summer for Jade Skidmoore? Adam highly doubted that since she looked like the kind of person who'd have her friends over every single day an having a party every now an then.
'Like' was a complete understatement. He began to fidget when she mentioned her name. Although Adam was trying to move on, an he believed he was, a little miniscule little part of him that just couldn't get Kurumi out of his mind. "Yes, I mean her." He said in a rather dry, low voice. Adam began to laugh when he heard the 'like' part. "Umm.. Obsessed maybe last year, jealous. An we, umm..dated for two years also. So, 'like' is a really small word."
It was awkward having to spend time with Kurumi planning stuff, an they always managed to bump into each other during prefect duties, or that one time during capture the flag.

Vickers raised his head at the voice, pushing his glasses up his nose as he did so. Oh, there was this Slytherin girl.... who thought he needed help? "Huh?... Oh n-no, I'm alright... I'm not lost." he smiled slightly. He supposed anybody looking at him with a map in his hands walking around a large castle like Hogwarts would think he was lost. "This is my uncle's map." the Ravenclaw said, lifting the map as he referred to it "He made this when he attended Hogwarts, and I'm just double checking if its still current." From what he was able to check most of it still was, although there are some places that have now been declared off limits. Which naturally got him all the more curious.
He looked back at the girl, she looked about his age "Have you been here long?" Maybe she'd know a bit more about Hogwarts and why certain things have changed.

Out of breath, Nessie stopped running and stood still for a while. Her pygmy puff, Puffles had ran away from her once again and there she was unsuccesfully trying to catch him.
It took her a few moment to realize where she was standing. This place was evil and Nessie didn't like it one bit. The fourth floor corridor always seemed to cause her some sort of unlucky trouble and she tended to avoid it if she could. She wanted to run, get out of the place as fast as she could, but seeing as she was still out of breath, she had no option but to walk.
Rather nervously she moved ahead as quickly as she could. She kept her eyes on her sorroundings making sure nothing would happen and also she was still trying to find her silly pugmy puff.

Selina was tired as she dragged her feet down the corrdior. This whole week had just been long, what with try outs and the chaos of picking the team and such. So the Gryffindor Captain was just worn out and sort of walking half hazardly through the entire week. School had been rough and she was honestly just too tired to function.
As Selina continued to walk down the hall she saw another redhead looking very suspicious with a Pygmy Puff? The other redhead approached the sneaky one and looked at the girl, "Excuse me... but, erm, what are you doing?"

Keeping her eyes up ahead of her, Nessie continued to walk at a rushed pace. Her pygmy puff was now walking behind her, but Nessie had no idea that he was doing so, which was why she continued to search for him. She stopped still, when she saw someone coming her way. This was probably the corridor giving her bad luck again. She tried to ignore it and continued to walk, but stopped again when the older student approached her.
The girl had red hair, just like her own, and looked familar for some odd reason. Nessie pouted as she tried to think of where she might have seen the girl, but nothing really came to her. It must have been from classes or something of that sort.
What was she doing? Well..really she was trying to get out of the corridor as quick as she could, but if she had said that the girl would, almost for certain, ask more questions. "I'm..um..I'm just walking around." she said trying to act completely normal. "What about you?" she said, wanting to know why this girl had all of a sudden questioned her.

Selina eyed the younger girl who had suddenly grow very defensive oddly. The redheaded younger girl was already acting odd before Selina had taken the plunge to ask what she was doing, but now she was acting even more strange. The Gryffindor Captain put her hands on her hips and looked at the girl questioningly. As if by a shock of lightening she took her hands off of her hips. That was the way older students held themselves and Selina was not accustomed to thinking of herself as an older student. Growing up was a weird phenominon to her. Bad thoughts, she was not graduating yet.
When the young girl retorted with the same question in a somewhat hung strung, snooty manner Selina rose her eyebrow at the girl and pointed to her robes where her Gryffindor Prefect badge sat proudly, "I'm going to go and reserve days to practice on the Pitch. Am I not allowed to?"

Looking down slightly at the Ravenclaw she sneakily perfected braclet which was out of position. Closely hearing to the boy she didn't really care what he was saying, just curious if she'd seen him before but still listening just not putting thought into it.
"Interesting. she said with not a grin on her face which was weird but she felt just a bit... strange. "How long have you been her?" she asked making a recory of making herself better.

"This is my first term here." Vickers explained sheepishly as he folded the map, although he still held it in his hand. "But my uncle went to Hogwarts too and his map belonged to him, so he got a lot of places mapped out already, I'm just checking things out and updating it." Then he angled his head towards her "How about you? Have you been here long?"

She didn't people asking questions much. Just asking people questions but never answering. Slightly raising one of her eyebrows so it wasn't noticable She leant back a bit like she was on something like a couch to comfort her position standing up. "Ah well my first term as well. Though some people would assume I'd come here since my first year since all my family came here but no." she responded to the boy. "Where did you go before this year??"
Tayla was wandering around the castle. She hadn't explored Hogwarts much since her first year.
She reached the fourth floor corridor and looked around. Nothing much to see, but she still found it beautiful. Tayla felt a sudden pride being at Hogwarts.
"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts, teach us something please..." she began to sing the school song softly.

Sophie had just gotten an Astronomy book to be able to do her homework better. Her bag was filled with Astronomy objects and this amused Sophie for no particular reason.
She had just walked out of the library when she heard a familiar voice singing Hogwarts' song! She turned around with a smile to face Tayla. "Whether we be old and bald or young with scabby knees!" She skipped in her friend's direction. "Hi there, Tayla! Guess what! My bag is filled with Astronomy stuff!" She giggled at her... "Astronomy partner". "Are you done with your homework yet?"

Tayla was a little startled when a voice started to sing along. She thought it was just one of the paintings, then she realized it was Sophie. "Hi, Sophie!" she replied and laughed a little, impressed by how interested in Astronomy Sophie had become. "I'm not done with it, yet. Having a bit of a headache from all the homework...so I decided to walk around Hogwarts for a while."
Tayla decided she would work on her Astronomy homework that day...but a little later. "Are you done?"

"We're having bunches of it, aren't we??" Sophie didn't complain though, she didn't mind doing homework. Of course, it was never going to be one of her favorite things to do, but she really didn't mind it. "I did the sundial part a little ealier today and was just in the library getting a book to be able to do the nocturnal part tonight!" It did sound a lot harder!
So her friend was just walking around Hogwarts... "Anything interesting here to see?" She asked with a smile, looking around.

Tayla just nodded as she listened to Sophie talk about the assignment. She really needed to start working on it.
"Hmm...not here exactly," Tayla answered Sophie's question. "But there's a tapestry somewhere near here that is interesting. I'll show you. Follow me."

A soft 'mew' escaped the girl's lips. Forester and Brooke were playing hide and seek. Though.. she was pretty sure there was no competition. He would win, and she'd spend the rest of her day trying to find him, until he decided to reappear for dinner. Though- this was kind of how she spent her spare time these days. After summer she had had difficulty hanging out with any of her classmates and often spent her time in her room, cuddled up to Forester.
But today she felt like getting out. And that was precisely what she was doing. She was out of the common room, out of the comforts of her bed and playing a game- with her cat. The girl's bright eyes glanced up and down the corridor before she stopped and decided to see if the cat might come and find her instead.
So she sat and waited.

Okay, so how was it that at some times, the school year was going by SO fast, and then at times like this.... it was moving all too slowly? Paulie's feet matched his thoughts as his feet dragged down the hallway, his head lost in his boredom. Nothing was going on right now! Everyone was cramming for exams and freaking out about NEWTs or OWLs, and here was Paulie Foster, wandering the halls for a good time that was looking to be nowhere.
He walked straight past a girl sitting against a wall, and it wasn't until a few paces later that Paulie stopped and turned. His dull expression instantly became lively with the sight before him. "Well, well, well!" Grin. "If it isn't The Knockout! Where in the hell have you been, Brookie?!" He stopped in front of her, folded his arms, and kicked her shoe.

After a bit, the girl concluded that little Forester probably wouldn't come looking for her at all. It wasn't like she had food on her, nor did was it anywhere near dinner time. So, she just sat there, not knowing what else to do. Maybe it was because there wasn't much to do these days anyway.
She sat against her wall, watching the students walk by, not really registering faces or anything for that matter. She simply stared at their shoes as the passed. But.. someone stopped in front of her. How.. weird. Were they going to move? Did they even see her? Probably not.
It wasn't until her foot as kicked that she snapped out of it and looked up at the figure before her. Wait what. "PauliePie! Fancy meeting you here." She grinned up at him. "Me?" She pointed at herself. "Oh, you know.. the usual.. just hanging around.." She said vaguely. Definitely not playing with her cat like a loser. Now it was his turn. "What are you doing here, hm?" She wiggled a brow at him.
