"I guess I can ... become fairly aggressive and competitive..." Gwen mumbled, looking at her out-stretched legs in front of her, then at her wand, lying on the ground a few feet away.
As for the friends part, Gwen simply bit her bottom lip and eyed Laura out of the corner of her eye. Why on earth would Laura want to become friends with a girl whose wand went berserk on her?

Laura looked at Gwen. "I'm sorry too for calling you brainless and a little girl." Laura sighed, there was just one problem with things now, no matter what she did, she just couldn't get up, though well she'd think of something. "Gwen can we be friends?" She hoped that they could after all they had to share a dorm.

Laura looked at Maybelle. "I'm sorry Maybelle, but no matter if you offered me three thousands hands could I get up, my legs feel like jelly at the minute." Laura sighed, she was really trying to get up but well she just couldn't do it, her legs were just hurting her so much. "What should we do?"

Ariana walked into the corridor as she noticed the two Hufflepuff's have stopped fighting.. about time you two got over yourself's." she said as she waited for her friend Eva.

Thankfully, Laura didn't hate her.
"Of course, I'd love to be friends," Gwen said with a smile. Then she added jokingly, "You can teach me how to have fun."

Laura heard someone say something about them and even though she was hurting like crazy she wasn't going to allow anyone to pick on her new friend. "Didn't your mother ever tell you it's rude to interupt?" Laura asked the girl.

Laura looked at Gwen and even though she was hurting she actually giggled at what Gwen said. "And you can teach me how to behave." Laura winked, she was just hoping someone would tell her how to make her legs hurt less, well since they wouldn't she suddenly shouted. ""STUDENT DOWN, STUDENT DOWN, I REPEAT STUDENT DOWN." Seriously if that didn't get a Professor's attention she didn't know what would.

Gwen giggled and then joined in with Laura's shouting.
"STUDENT DOWN, IN THE FIRST FLOOR CORRIDOR, STUDENT DOWN."

"you must be a Firstie." Ariana said. "and i see your a hufflepuff. even better" Ariana said as she rolled her eyes. she wasnt gonna let another firstie try to bring her down off of her glory horse "Actually she taught me TO interrupt whenever i please!" ariana said being a smart butt

Sophie was walking by and heard both Laura and Gwen shouting like crazy. She ran in their direction and looked at both of them. "What happened here??" her eyes were wide, as usual, and she frowned when she saw Laura on the floor. What in the world...?

Laura looked at Sophie and sighed. "I fell over and hurt my legs." Laura didn't want Sophie to know that Gwen and her had been fighting, Laura then heard the Slytherin girl speak but decided to ignore her, the girl had a big head and she knew people liked that hated to be ignored.

"Oh, wow!" Sophie said kneeling by Laura. "Do you think you can stand up? Or..." she stopped for a couple of seconds. "Do you think you'll have to go to the Hospital Wing...?" She really hoped she wouldn't have to go back there and face the evil nurse, but if Laura had to be taken to the Hospital Wing, there was nothing else Sophie could do but help her friend.

Adam had been patrolling the corridors when he heard a bunch of shouting. What on the world was going on over there? He quickly ran to the direction in which all the commotion was occurring an found a few students huddled an one on the ground.

He bent down to face the girl an looked at the others. "What is going on here? Did you have a fight or something?" He asked the bunch of students, whom stood there. Adam helped the girl up with his hand, an just to keep her support, held her closely before she collapsed to the floor again.

Making rounds? No, he was simply walking back to his Common Room when he heard...

...Hospital Wing?

"Hey, Sophie...," and company. Even Maybelle was here and two other Hufflepuffs as well. His eyes went from Sophie to the girl she was addressing, "Do you need to go to the Hospital Wing?" he asked looking at the other girl....and Adam, who had just showed up and helped her up.

Well, that was more proactive.

Sophie got up when the older boy talked to them. "I really don't know what happened! I had just asked Laura that when you came."

She turned to face the Head Boy. "Treyen!" that was no time for her little jokes with his name, and she was glad to see someone that she knew and that was older than them. "I just got here and saw Laura on the floor with all of these bruises on her legs!" she pointed and looked down. "I had just asked her what happened when you all got here!"

Adam looked at Sophie, from what he had gained from Treyen, an then to him an then to Laura. "Bruises?" He didn't like the sound of bruises especially on what seemed to be a younger student.

"I don't like hearing that Laura here has bruises. You'll need to get checked up on that, let me take you to the Hospital." He offered in a gentle tone.

"What I'd like to know who caused this fight, an why did it happen? That's what I need to know first because I need the information in order to quickly pass on information an make decisions alongside Treyen here." He pointed at the Head Boy. At least Treyen had arrived also. This seemed like a big problem for Adam to have to handle on his own for the first time this term.

Laura looked at the boy who was holding her up, she didn't like it but at least she could move now. "My legs hurt." Laura felt a pain shoot up her body as she tried to walk. "Come on, your older than me surely you can fix it?" Laura was hoping he could. "I don't want to tell you what has happened.

Laura looked up to see Mr Head Hufflepuff Boy. "Mr Head Hufflepuff Boy." Laura would have bowed to him but if she did that she would be back on the floor. "Sir, it's an honour to meet you." Laura was just hoping that having someone as important as the Head Boy was then maybe he could help her feel better, if someone didn't do something soon, she would scream the place down for a Professor and nothing they could do would stop her.

"What!!?!?! Noo!!! No no no!" Sophie thought to herself, making a worried and almost desperate face. "Not going to the Hospital Wing to explain what had happened to the evil nurse again!!" she had just done that the other day and it was NOT cool. The nurse scared the heck out of her!
"As I just told you... uh... mister," what's this boy's name anyway? "I just got here, so I wouldn't know what to tell you!" Sophie really hoped he would believe her. "Please, don't make me go to the Hospital Wing again!" she prayed silently.

YES! Finally! He was being called Treyen! And all the worry washed off from his face.

Though, the worry made its way back in very little time as Sophie kept on explaining. Nod, nod. Wait, bruises?! Treyen's eyes immediately went to the girl Adam was trying to keep up in a standing position. "That's...okay, Sophie...I'm sure she's fine." He was going to assume that Sophie was just worried for the other Puff, okay?



Nod. Nod. Nod.

Adam was entirely correct. They needed to know what had happened, especially if magic was involved, that was the most important bit. It was the only way they could sort it all out.

Even if the girl wouldn't tell them, she'd have to tell the Healer.

Er, wait, what? An honor to meet him? What the--? "Adam is right, Laura." And perhaps she'd hit her head when she fell to the floor. "You need to tell us what happened. I...think it's best if you take her to the Hospital Wing, though, if it's necessary." Eyes on Adam. Since, well, you know, he was already holding the girl.

He was confused as to why the girl didn't want to reveal any information, but it'd have to come out one way or another. The situation would have to be investigated whether it be the nurse,a professor or Treyen an himself. They could not hide away from it. "It's ok if you don't have to tell us, we can keep that private. But to figure out the full story you will need to tell a staff member so that consequences for everyone's actions can be put into account." Laura seemed embarrassed about what had happened.

Adam then nodded at Treyen as he suggested he should take her to the wing, seeing as he were already holding her up. He held the girl more tightly as he stood there, slowly moving her. "An you'll take care of the rest of them?" Adam asked Treyen pointing at the rest.

Laura wasn't going to let the boy move her, Miss Ravenclaw Head Girl could, she seemed nice and really this boy was well he was a boy and Laura didn't like it, it seemed like he was hugging her. "Miss Ravenclaw Head Girl can tell you what happened, she's been here since it started I was talking to her when it all kicked off." Laura said to the Prefects and MR Hufflepuff Head Boy.

Er, what was she so terrified about?!

EVIL nurse? What ever happened to having Healers that looked like angels, eh? And that gave a student chocolate whenever their hearts were broken?? Now they had evil one?

He frowned.

"Actually, Sophie," he started to say, bending a little so he'll match some of her height, "Since you're not involved in this...I think it would be best if you just...kept on going...wherever it was you were heading to before landing here." Because...he didn't want her to get in trouble if this managed to get out of hand.

Not that it could get out of hands. But if a Professor came along...then...they'd be asking her as well about what happened, and she clearly had no idea.

Okay, yes, that made absolute sense. Laura could explain the Healer and such.

While...Treyen...stayed? What? That was the bit that didn't made sense. Oh, well, yes, Maybelle could take care of herself, and the other kids better run away from both Prefects...ASAP. There. He'll take care of that, smoothly.

"If magic was involved...it would be of great use to know." He said, to Adam, yet his eyes were on Laura...

...and his eyebrow was raised. He was doing that a lot since the beginning of the term.

"It doesn't matter who takes you, as long as you get better." It seemed rather odd that SHE wanted a particular person to take her to the Hospital Wing. Extremely odd...and kind of annoying, really, if he'd been Adam he'd dropped the girl on the floor that instant.

Everything happened so quickly, Vashti wasn't sure how she would've reacted if she'd had time. One moment she was talking with the first year, the next another one came up and started shouting, and then an older student who appeared to be around Vashti's age suddenly popped up and tried to calm the first years down, and then the first girl was hit by a spontaneous spell from the second girl's wand, a couple more younger students popped up, and then two other prefects appeared and took control of the situation. Vashti felt like she must be in some sort of bubble given her apparent inability to react and how little attention anyone seemed to be paying to her presence. Her first challenge/incident/whatever-it-was-to-be-called as Head Girl, and she'd clearly failed miserably.

Finally, she managed to find her voice. "Magic was involved," she put in, even though Treyen hadn't addressed that comment to her. "Accidentally. But magic all the same."

Maybelle watched as Treyen, and a Gryffindor person came. She smiled at Treyen. "Hey, Treyen!" She greeted, and looked back down at Laura. "She can't walk, so someone should carry her." She said, and with Laura being a first year, it shouldn't be too hard for someone to carry her. And then they were asking about stories? "I only heard yelling, and tried to diffuse it, because it was quite stupid why they were fighting, and then Laura was on the floor." She shrugged.

Sophie was so relived she could hug Treyen right now. But she didn't, since she was still a bit shocked by the thought of going back to the Hospital Wing. Instead, she just sighed and nodded to the Head Boy. "Okay. Thank you!" she turned to look at Laura. "I hope you feel better soon! Let me know when you leave the Hospital Wing!" saying that, she rushed out of the corridor.

See? THIS was a perfect, obedient Hufflepuff. Sophie was never going to get in trouble, was she? He'd better not jinx it. Though, really, a little trouble now and then never hurt anyone.

He smiled and nodded, slightly confused as to why she thanked him so energetically. Really, she didn't want to go to the Hospital Wing. Got it. Evil Nurse. Got it too.

Then his eyes were on Vashti, and he was frowning just a little bit. She had been there the whole time, yet it seemed that everything happened super fast and she didn't have time to react. Which was completely okay and understandable...yet she still seemed frozen.

Treyen's eyes were clearly asking if she was okay, but he didn't want to say out loud.

As Maybelle started to explain, he gave her a smile of encouragement. Mmmhmm. Fighting. Between Hufflepuffs. That's what the Common Room was for! Tsk! Not the middle of the corridor! And...Laura fell, possibly thanks to a spell that, as Vashti said, was accidental. Okay. Well. One thing was certain. "Yeah, Laura should go to the Hospital Wing." Aha, Adam. Hint.

Er, but he turned to Vashti again. The spell didn't get to her, did it?

Gwen watched as all the people crowded around them and stood up.
She looked at Treyen, gnawing on her bottom lip. She had to say something. It wasn't Laura's fault, it was hers.
"I'm...it was me...I'm sorry," said Gwen, frightened. She wasn't sure what was going to happen to her now. "It was an... an accident...all my fault...sorry."
