Adeline shrugged. "But why? I don't like him like that at all. I never will. I love him but as a friend." But this wasn't the first time that she had a dream like that. She gasped, her hands covering her mouth. "But that's not the first time I had a dream like that."she frowns. "It's just the new one was set in the future." she told the girl. "But why would I think about him like that?"

He smiled at Ariana and nodded. "Sure, that works too," he said. "The library is one of my favorite places here." She didn't need to know that, but he felt like saying it. Okay, so this reprimanding this was done and it went better than he had thought.

"I'll be seeing you later, then," he grinned.

"Well... I don't know then." Aurora said. "Maybe you started getting visions..." she added, grinning. "Are you any good at divination?" Sure, she didn't actually get any of that stuff, but you never know, maybe... "Or maybe you're just getting weird dreams - they don't always have to mean something..."

"yes, later". Ariana smiled & walked away.

Jen noticed a prefect badge on the student's robe.
"Hey, exscuse me but, can you point me in the right direction tawards Transfigeration?"

Kennedy turned his attention to the student who asked the question. By the emblem on her robes he knew she was a Slytherin. "Hi," he greeted with a smile. "The Transfiguration classroom is on the sixth floor...so a level above us," he said, pointing upward.

He wasn't sure if the young snake was familiar with it, so he said, "Would you like me to escort you?" Like show her where it was.

"Um...sure, this school seems like everything blends together. It's November and I'm still confused about where everything is."
Oh well, I'll figure it out soon...Jen thought with a bit of doubt.

Adeline looked at her. She pushed her hair away from her dark framed glasses. She was confused. Visions? "I'm rubbish at divinations but you never know I could get better in a matter of years." she half smiled. "If it is a weird dream I would love to know the meaning of it at once." she laughed. She really wish the dreams had no meaning whatsoever but all dreams have meaning even the boring ones.

Well.

Her afternoon was productive, to say the least. Ellie'd finished classes, gone down to the Pitch, and eaten. Incredibly productive, no?

As per usual, she'd taken a dinner role, which the Elves were amazing enough to have on the table all day long, and was munching it as she walked. Probably to the Prefects lounge. Because the sixth year really didn't want to deal with the other Ravenclaws in the Common Room. After Christmas break was when they all usually cracked down MORE on studying, and Ellie couldn't stand it.

She took another bite of roll and continued down the corridor.

Evelyn stifled a yawn as she made her way down the corridor. She didn't sleep well the previous night and the lack of sleep was taking it's toll.

She adjusted the strap of her bag over her shoulder when she noticed someone familiar walking in the opposite direction.

"Ellie!" Evelyn gave a smile. It was nice to see her fellow sixth year again..even though the previous conversation that they had was..weird.

Yeah, she saw Eve walking down the corridor. And Ellie waved and smiled. But then Eve said her name so...she slowed her pace until they were even and...did that hovering thing people do. Not sure whether Evelyn wanted a conversation or was just being very friendly.

"Hi, Eve." She took another nibble of bread.

Evelyn tucked her hands into the pockets of her jacket. "How have you been?" The girl was starting to feel a little awkward. Evelyn wasn't sure if Ellie wanted to have a conversation or not..bleh. She placed her bag on the floor. Jeez. Why on earth did she carry so many books around? It wasn't like she was doing a lot of studying..

She watched the bag drop. So, Eve did want to talk?

Okay. Ellie mimicked the Hufflepuff. It wasn't like she had anything better to do. "I've been great." There were some things on her mind, but Quidditch was doing a very good job of distracting her. Really, it was much appreciated. Thank Merlin for obsessions.

"How about you?"

"Frankly, not that good." Evelyn gave a small shrug. She was still a little upset about losing twenty points but..bleh. It wasn't her fault anyway..well, technically it was her fault. Huh. Why on earth was she still thinking about it?

"So..what have you been upto?"

Oh crud.

Her brow furrowed. There could be a multitude of reasons why Evelyn was 'not that good', but Ellie couldn't help thinking of something truly awful. Like that one friend she had that told her she was 'fine' and then dropped the bomb that her dad died.

Honestly, the Ravenclaw had NO idea how to deal with such things. So it was very hesitantly that she asked, "Why's that?" She could only mentally cross her fingers and HOPE it wasn't too terrible.

If Evelyn answered at all. There was always the possibility of 'I don't want to talk about it'. In which case, Ellie will be SURE to just leave it alone.

What had she been up to? What was she ever up to? It was strange to converse with someone who didn't know Ellie so well. Refreshing, even. "Practicing, of course," she answered. "If Alec's Seeking at our match...I...I have my work cut out for me. You saw him. He was amazing." So Ellie was pushing herself as hard as she could to be better.

Why was that? "Erm..well..it's just family issues.." Evelyn didn't want to elaborate. She was still not okay with talking about her personal problems with someone else..especially with someone she didn't know that well. "..also, I lost twenty points the other day, thanks to Williamson." Ugh. The whole incident still made her cringe.

When Ellie said that she'd been practicing, Evelyn grinned. Yeah. Amazing didn't even begin to describe how well Summers played that day. Gosh, the girl was already starting to get excited about the next match. "Well, I'm sure guys will do great." Hufflepuff was going win though. That was obvious, wasn't it? "Practice is going well?"

Family issues. All Ellie could think was 'Please don't elaborate'.

And Eve didn't. Thank Merlin.

She listened as the Hufflepuff went on about points loss. Twenty, though? That made even her, the points lax Quidditch Captain, grimace. "That's pretty steep." And Williamson had seemed like a pretty good guy, too. "What for?" Again, if Eve didn't mind sharing. But Ellie was genuinely curious. Eve seemed well behaved enough to not lose twenty whole points.

Mhm. No, Ellie knew Eve'd prefer Hufflepuff to win. It was only natural to root for your own house. So, she didn't comment on them doing great. "It's going fine, yeah." As fine as it could go. She was still a bit disappointed about not doing certain things that her boyfriend hadn't wanted her to do. But she had agreed to refrain from it, didn't she? So she couldn't really complain.

"I know." Evelyn said feeling a little grumpy. Who would have thought that Williamson of all people could be so unreasonable and annoying? Oh. So, she wanted to know why..sigh. It was a long story and quite embarrassing. "Err..well..Scabior asked Trey and I to retrieve his lobalug from the sanctuary. At least, he said it was his but I'm not so sure. Anyway, Williamson caught us and yeah..we both lost twenty points and he even complained to Hadley." Eve finished with a faint smile. "Yeah, that's pretty much it."

"Good. When is the match anyway?"

Ellie's brow furrowed. None of what Eve said made sense. She needed clarification. And a more thorough explanation. "You tried to...steal? a lobalug for Scabior?" What?

Quidditch, however, was a subject Ellie was hardly ever confused about. "Next month." So, really, she had plenty of time to practice. Yet no time to waste.

Evelyn was a little surprised that Ellie didn't react to the fact that Trey lost twenty points as well. Er anyway..steal? Evelyn wasn't happy to hear her say that. Actually well..Evelyn did think it was stealing but she didn't like to hear someone else say that. "Well, Scabior said that the lobalug was his and that we were just to retrieve it for him."

"Next month?" Evelyn was a little disappointed. She had to wait for a whole month for the next match. Sad.

"And so you just went to...the creatures barn place, I'm guessing? And took the lobalug? You just listened to him? To Scabior?" Sure he was a professor and you're supposed to listen, but it didn't make sense. Beside the fact that Treyen doesn't like Scabior, and probably wouldn't do anything the man said, Scabior had more power than students did. He probably wouldn't have a problem removing a creature from the sanctuary if he wanted to. Especially if it was truly his creature.

But, really, who in their right mind would own a lobalug?

Ellie nodded. Next month. "It'll creep up on us. Second term always seems to go by faster." Especially when you had exams. Like OWLs or NEWTs. Because then, BAM you have to take them.

"Yeah. We went to the magical creatures sanctuary." What did she mean by that? "Well, of course. He is a professor after all." However stupid he was. Gosh, she was really dreading the meeting with him. What on earth was he going to say? "Anyway, he said we would be awarded in points. That's the main reason why I wanted to do it but as it turns out..we ended up losing points.." Ironic, wasn't it?

"I hope so. I'm really looking forward to it." If it wasn't obvious already.

Yes, Scabior was a professor. "That doesn't mean you have to listen to him." Ellie didn't always do what she was told in the classroom. If Scabior had come to her and told her to get a disgusting and potentially dangerous creature out of the sanctuary for him, she'd walk away. What was the worst he could do about it?

And that, Eve, was why you never did anything just for points. They weren't worth it. Points earned through Quidditch however...

Grin. "Me too." More specifically, she was looking forward to winning.

"I know that now.." Obviously, Evelyn wouldn't have listened to him if she knew the amount of trouble she would get into. She really was starting to wonder what had gotten into her to have agreed to do that stupid task. "Anyway, I think Wlliamson should have been a little more understanding.."

"I think we're going to win." Evelyn responded with a grin.

It was better to catch onto those things sooner rather than later, she supposed. It seemed like Eve won't do things just because a professor told her to anymore. That's not to say she should defy all professors all the time, though. "Understanding about two kids trying to take a creature out of his sanctuary? Yeah, sure." Really, Ellie didn't blame Williamson for taking points. Twenty was still steep but...she was sure he had to have had a good reason. Maybe the Hufflepuffs had argued back or something. No professor liked that. "I don't see why anyone would want to be in close proximity to a lobalug in the first place." Creatures professor or not. They were gross.

Oh? They were going to win, were they? "Okay." Mhm, Ellie wasn't jinxing anything by saying her thoughts out loud. But she thought they stood a good chance. As long as she kept practicing to be much better than Alec.
