"Ugh." Beezus groaned. The smell was getting into her senses. And it was rather irritating. She need to get out of this place and she needed to do it fast.

She covered her mouth with her handkerchief, more cough! cough!

And when the passage back up was only a few steps away, the Ravenclaw girl stopped on her tracks while her hand clutching her handkerchief was left in mid air.

There he was standing in front of her and looking at her? Without second thought, she raised an eyebrow and grinned. "Errr--hello, Jon-J..I mean Jonathan"

Of course... Jonathan rolled his eyes.

"yeah?" he asked. What was her name again? Erin never mentioned her nor Daichi after the feast nor Kurumi as well. Oh yeah, Jonathan narrowed his eyes. She's the girl that calls him Jon-Jon. He's still annoyed at her because of that.

But Jon-Jon reminds him of Marilyn. How is the blonde Slytherin doing?

Yeah? Yeah? That was all her could say? Yeah?

So unconventional. This was one untalkative snake, unlike a few other she knew. Okay, so she wanted to know more about this guy since Kurumi is dating him and there was also that fact that Erin liked him. Sheeesh! He's not even cute.

However, she smiled at him. "Ow. You know me already, don't you?" Introductions first and then she could tell him more.

If by that she meant that she's the girl who called him JonJon the other day, then yes, he knows her. Not her name though. What is her name exactly? Jonathan had never bother really asking about that. He's not even in the mood to ask her that. Sooo, whatever Jon Jon caller.

"What do you want?" he asked her. Was there a deadline he didn't know? Ever since he came here he feels like the younger years have something for him all the time. First with that Erin girl and now this Jon Jon caller girl.

Ugh! The rudeness. She asked him if he knew her and he was now asking her what she wants. Well, first she wanted to make friends and second, she wanted to punch the sixth year on the face.. Sigh, a perfect Slytherin. Why did even Kurumi fell in love with such a person?

Exchanging her smile for a smirk, she faced him. "Duh, you were the one blocking the way and I just so happen to be good at talking to people that's why I'm conversing with you right now.." Beatrice explained irritably. She didn't like this, the boy reminded her of someone. And she did not want to remember that. Okay, breathe Beezus, breathe. When the similarity of Jonathan Kim to that person hit her, she wanted to take back what she said and she did. "Err--I mean, nothing much. I just wanted to.." What's the word? "to..erm...be acquainted with you." Since I bumped into you here, why not seize the chance?

Why was she getting mad at him this time? They both don't even know each other. It was the same scenario he and Louisa had when they first met. Oh, that girl is Ravenclaw too. He narrowed his eyes at the girl. What was her problem? They were both just crossing paths and she the one that decided to say Hi and whatnot. Now she's getting mad?!

Jonathan then sensed she lowered her tone. WHOAH!!! Is she bipolar perhaps? One minute she's nice and then the next she gets mad and now she's back to nice again. What is going on?

He looked at her. She wants to get acquainted? She's friend's with that Erin girl. "You're friend seems to know a lot about me. Why not ask her?" he replied with a straight tone. What's he going to say after she looked annoyed and got mad at him?

Oh! This guy. He was such a snake, living to his house's name too much! Grrrr... She's losing her patience now but at the exact same time, she didn't want to get mad at him and have that same scenario with another snake before take place again. Nuh-uh, never.

She noticed the look that Jonathan gave her. He must think I'm weird, but then again, I am weird. She said inside her mind.

Why not ask her friend? He was right, why not ask Erin? "I would. But..she might exaggerate things a bit," she said casually, followed by a shrug. Judging the current events, she was sure that Erin liked Jonathan and knowing her friend, the girl won't stop until she gets what she wants. "Good thing you brought up Erin.." the eagle started. "Don't take her gestures seriously, okay?" she added.

Exaggerate things? Of course, people exaggerate things. It's in their nature to do so. Like right now, if they both separate ways, the girl will exaggerate the typical things to her friends. One, he's really the stereotypical snake--- yes, he has heard of that one before and he finds it a compliment. And two, he doesn't talk much-- which he hears, ALL the time. He can't even remember how many of those people that have said that he is too quiet.

"Exaggerate, like what may I ask?" Jonathan is curious about this one.

Don't take her gestures seriously, okay?

What gestures? Where there some sort of awkward gestures that Jonathan didn't bother noticing. Jonathan doesn't know what kind of gestures she is trying to say. "Why?" he curiously asked. "What kind of gestures should I not take seriously?" because from last time they talked, there were no gestures really. Except for that part when she asked him if she was cute.That was really weird and awkward... but mostly weird.

Oh! She was losing it. Talking to this boy was hopeless. Really hopeless.. She sighed frustratingly and stared at this Jonathan Kim. What do girl see in you when you talk like a chipmunk? She wondered, but all in her mind of course.

"Oh, you know what I mean," she said followed by a frown. "You know, she might say that you're too handsome," which she was sure Erin would be saying later on. "Or that you're too kind," which for her wasn't true, "Or that you.." What else? "You..well, you get the picture." He wasn't that slow right?

Now he's asking what kind of gestures. Heh. Beatrice was almost going on an outburst when she thought what Erin might feel right now if she'd see her saying those kind of things to Jonathan Kim. But he's just too-! Her mind contradicted, "Uh..nothing much really..Never mind.." It seems like she cared for Erin more than she thought.

Too handsome? Smirk.
Too nice? Blink. Blink.

Okay something was definitely wrong with that Erin girl and Jonathan is really crept out by her. Since he is talking to her friend then what she's saying is a liable source. Jonathan nodded slowly but his thought drifted. Nope, she hasn't said those stuffs yet to him but she is too hyper about so many things the last time he talked to her. She even fell on the ground. Eck.

Nevermind?
Is that it? Jonathan snorted in displeased. Whatever, if she's not going to tell then no. He's not here to force her. "Is this everything?" everything that she wanted to tell him? Or was there more?

Oi. Oi. Oi. She was given a smirk, twice!

"Ugh.." She moaned.. This Slytherin was really such a Slytherin! She didn't know what to do anymore. Conversing with him was such a pain! Now, she regretted stopping herself from giving him an outburst. Why, the person which he reminds her of him was way better! At least that person spoke, even if he annoyed her.

"Is that all you're going to ask?Is this everything?" She finally blurted out,mimicking him. Now, Beatrice doesn't if she'd be hurting her best friend's feelings. What she knew at the moment was that she didn't like Jonathan Kim. Not even a bit.

Did.she.just.mimicked.him?

Jonathan narrowed his eyes and looked at her. Was she actually testing his patience? Or better yet his anger this time. Jonathan doesn't get mad or doesn't lose his temper that easily. He doesn't even want to get mad over something so stupid as this conversation right now. It's not worth it.

Jonathan snorted and glared at her. Whatever Jon Jon caller. He then put his hands onto his pockets and started walking towards the Slytherin common room. He's not going to waste his time getting mad at someone he doesn't even know. At least Louisa made him laugh even if they're both annoyed with each other.

Alright, now that they weren't arguing anymore, or whatever it was that has just happened, Nora rolled her eyes, but only because she was annoyed with herself, and followed Hades farther into the hall. "Did you find anything interesting yet?" She asked curiously when she finally caught up with him and was walking by his side.

Maybe some baby Acromantulas? No?

Oh yeah, she did!

And she saw how the Slytherin boy responded to her mimicking. He was glaring at her. That kinda meant that he was annoyed right? He was annoyed and irritated by Beatrice. And because of that, for the first time since she knew this Jonathan Kim, she felt victorious. Victorious because somehow it felt like the ever so Slytherin student couldn't stand her anymore. Maybe it was because she was used to being the one annoyed whenever she's with Mordred, that's why it seemed like triumph that a snake was annoyed because of her.

When Jon-JonJonathan walked away, she of course followed him.. Walking--no, almost wobbling like a penguin beside the sixth year, she grinned teasingly, "Got annoyed eh?"

Great. She even walked up to him and ask the most stupid question and to think, she's a Ravenclaw. Was the Sorting Hat wrong perhaps of putting her in that house because right now she's just embarrassing all Ravenclaws. It's a pity.

Jonathan stopped.

Taking a glance at her direction, Jonathan smiled "No." he said admitting that he wasn't annoyed. Should he make her cry instead? He glared at her from top to bottom and then smirked. And then turned his back on her again. Yeah, she wasn't worth his time because if she was, they would have had a decent conversation already.

Pwew. Now this was getting more and more interesting. Yes, it certainly was. She hadn't expected him to smile at her with a stiff no. She thought he was going to add more but the boy just glared more and turned his back on her again!

Narrowing her dark-brown eyes, she leaned on the wall. "You know, I'm not going to waste my time if I hadn't been so curious why there's you and Kurumi.." Yep, because eagles were often curious. "With your attitude, I...well...I kinda feel sorry for her." She said casually.

Pause.

Jonathan didn't looked at her this time though, he just stood there after hearing what she just had asked. Now that was out of line and Jonathan is getting mad. "Excuse me?" he said and then slightly turned his head to look at her. Jonathan is a very patient guy and he doesn't get mad for so many reasons. He's not even the violent type but this girl was... unbelievable and to think she's talking back to a senior. Someone she should actually respect.

"Does annoyance and disrespect run in your family?" he said with a cold voice. "With that attitude... it'll never take you anywhere." he added. Who does she think she is? Just because she had so many friends doesn't mean she has to be in their business too. If she has issues, she can tell them to a counselor and give herself an attitude maintenance. He's not even getting mad at this point. He was just sorry that someone like her have such behaviors.

Stupid girl.

And with that last note, Jonathan continued walking to the Slytherin common room.

Oh. She was feeling it. She was succeeding. She was getting annoying and it seems like he was the only one who felt that because well..she wasn't annoyed or anything. She was merely enjoying their conversation. She hadn't really meant what she said about feeling sorry for Kurumi for having him because whenever she saw the Prefect, she could see how happy she was whenever she talked about him. The second year Ravenclaw just had to say it like that to get his attention.

She was having such a good time when the sixth year asked him that. Beezus was caught off handed. Was he really going to talk about family matters with her at this time? "Does annoyance and disrespect run in your family?" his question rang like a bell inside her mind. It was..hurting her. "I don't know.. Maybe.." she replied weakly with a shrug. "Or it's just the result of having no family at all.." Beezus trailed off. Not that she didn't have a family, she had her Aunt, cousin and Grandmother. But she also needed a father and a mother. Persons that she doubted she'd ever have again.

When she heard footsteps, she didn't dare look at the sixth year snake but instead she looked down at her feet and bit her lip.

Damien hadn't seen Matt at all since term started. So naturally he went looking for him down in the dungeons. It was, after all, where the Slytherin Common Room was. The Hufflepuff wondered how many studnets that weren't in Slytherin House ventured down here. It was rather creepy. Dark. Musty and damp. The lanterns that lit the corridor were nearly burned out -- some weren't lit altogehter. Withdrawing his want from his back pocket, he muttered "Lumos!" and the tip of the want ignited, giving him just a little more light.

Drip. Drip. Drip

It was something out of a dream --- a bad dream. The nightmares came floating back to his memory, but Damien shoved them back to where they belonged. No one should have dreams that bad.

His footsteps echoed as he continued down -- muffled voices making their way through his ears. Perhaps he was getting closer to the Slytherin Common Room.

As soon as Matt saw a faint light coming from the middle of the dungeons, he was curious exactly who was down here since it seemed like other than the couple of other Slytherins that were both coming and going from the common room. The curiosity had gotten the best of him and he headed off towards the source of the light with his wand drawn, merlin only knew what was hiding down here and even though he had been at this school for the past four terms; it was next to impossible to know exactly if there were any creatures loose. Was he scared? Of course not. Well maybe a little because as much as he didn't want to admit it, living in such a dark area honestly intimidated him.

When he saw the ever so faint yellow color on robes of the person who was heading towards him, he thought about it for a second before raising the wand to be infront of him. Dude think before you act honestly. Well the last thing he wanted to do was hex someone just for the sake of it, no he didn't do that either. Slowly approaching the mystery person, he figured out who it was and lowered his wand. "Damien, man where have you been!?" Okay that wouldn't have been good if he accidentally mistook his friend for some kind of a monster and ended up hexing him.

It was as if he appeared out of nowhere.

Well -- maybe not completely out of nowhere.

Damien had heard footsteps along the dark, musty corridor, but figured it was the echo of his own -- it was hard enough to see down here, how was he supposed to know what was around the corner, let alone 2 feet infront of him. Perhaps a talk with the Head of House to get better lighting down here would do the trick. Unless of course it landed him in Detention. The he'd be stuck down here indefinately. And THAT was not ideal at all.

The Hufflepuff's wand was still drawn out and it took a few seconds to realize that Matt's wand was also at the ready. Damien lowered his and gave his friend a sarcastic hurt slash scared face. "What, did you think I was the boogyman?" he asked, Irish accent crystal clear. "I can't understand how this is considered an ideal house to be in," he added. "Not that it's scary down here, but I would say it's very near the creepy side of things. Didn't think I'd have to wander this far down to find you."

But still. The boys had found each other and now all the wand waving could be set aside. Damien extinguished his light, leaving the two to the near total darkness that was the corridor, and pocketed his wand. "We're not hanging out down here are we?" he finally asked, bold and outright. Again -- it's not like he was scared.

The place was creepy, though.

At the mention of him thinking that Damien was the boogeyman, Matt couldn't help but chuckle since honestly that was pretty funny; muggle children were scared by that story when they were super young and it wasn't like he hadn't heard it himself but he knew enough that that monster didn't exist. Not even in the wizarding world. No there were much scarier creatures in this world that could really hurt you. But that was besides the point now. "This is only the dungeon dude, this is nothing compared to our common room." He actually liked the Slytherin common room, sure it was a bit dark but the whole fact that it was underwater was what made it actually really cool.

"Well, I'm not sure if I want to go anywhere else. I think I've spent a lot of time lately just wandering about the school.. and of course hanging out with my girlfriend." Did his friend know about Stella? He couldn't remember if he told her or not but that would be discovered soon enough. Maybe he needed to just do a recap basically of what had happened since the last time they hung out which happened to be the previous term while they were randomly investigating the Entrance Hall for clues.

It made Damien curious to see the Slytherin Common Room. The Hufflepuff one was the only he'd ever been in, so it was rather intriguing to think about hanging out down there with Matt. Leave to him to spend his time wandering around the castle. That's what Damien liked about Matt -- the two seem to have an understandable bond over wandering. Though he, Damien, was less likely to be sittin in class, the boys still had their similarities.

Girlfriend?

"I don't believe I know that bit of information," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. It had been a while since the two boys had seen each other, let alone had a real talk about what was going on in their lives. The last couple times Damien had seen Matt was last term when they were searching the Entrance Hall for some mysterious clues. And the time before that -- well, Damien hadn't even really seen Matt, but rather Raven, a mere messenger.

So clearly the boys had a lot of catching up to do.

Huh so Damien didn't know about Stella after all? Well that did make sense since Matt didn't exactly tell the other guy about his personal life, nah that was just a mystery like whatever was down here besides the rest of his housemates. "Ah well, I suppose I should fill you in on that. Stella and I have only been together since around my birthday which honestly is a pretty good birthday present if I do say so myself. But anyway, she's now a 6th year Ravenclaw who is seriously one of the most amazing girls that I've had the chance to meet; she's very smart and funny. Plus I mean, she manages to keep me pretty grounded around here." All of that was true about his girlfriend, it might have sounded a little cheesy but there was no other way to explain her; she was just incredible. Simple as that.

The echo of something hitting the ground caused his attention to shift to what was happening now, if there was a creature down here; he wasn't going to be surprised by it. He raised his wand in front of him once more, totally prepared for if something or someone for that matter was going to run out and try to scare both of them.

Laci sighed, she knew what rules were for, it just seemed useless to have so many. "i guess so" Finally agreeing. "So what's your favorite thing to do here?"
