"Falling Cows Ahead," Kurumi read tilting her head to the side. "I don't remember there being cows in your area." It was times like this were Kurumi's innocence could be a total buzz kill. She smiled at Adam. It was nice to see him laughing. She then looked around and found an area of strange looking glasses and picked up a pair that looked like feet. "Where did they find some of these things?" He fork, of course, was very different.

"Maybe they took it out of the Weasley twins house and put it as their own...You are holding a fork as if you knew it by heart, why?"He asked intrigued. She was a different type of person, intelligent, random and very shy, but that complimented him in a way, opposites attract...

Kurumi blushed. "Do you know the movie The Little Mermaid?" she asked holding the fork delicately. "I loved that movie and in it she has this fork...and she collects things. I, kind of started this weird fork collection because of it." She probably sounded like some crazy Cornish Pixie right now. Adam had a strange collection too, right? Didn't everyone? Then again, forks were a little odd...

"No...I know I am pure muggle- but I've never been much for Disney movies...More of a pixar guy- Finding Nemo, Monster's Inc...That good stuff...Fork collection?"He questioned her.
Would it be weird saying he had and still 13 years old is collecting beanie babies.Maybe she might find it cute and macho, but disturbing, best to keep it hidden.

Never been much for Disney movies!? Kurumi had practically lived for them when she was a child. She had even tried to talk to her sushi once. Ryunosuke had told her that she was eating Flounder and she had been unable to look at fish for two weeks. "Yes...forks..." she said shyly. "I know, I probably look more like someone who collects fluffy stuffed animals or cookie cutters." Truth was, she did have a small cookie cutter collection.

"No...No stuffed animals no, cookie cutters, a for sure without a doubt no hesitation in my answer, YES...."Adam said ruffling her hair.
Maybe being in random spots were their forte in their relationship- they seemed to understand and be nicest to each other in random spots...
"I have a very , different type of collection...."He said shyly, turning aside, as to not show his blushing.

So Adam did collect something! Now she was curious. Slinkering up behind Adam, she leaned forward with her arms behind her back and batted her eyelashes innocently. He was going to tell her what he collected. Maybe they could be geeky together and it would help her find him a Christmas present. "So...what is your different type of collection?" she grinned.

Not being able to tell her what he collected, Adam went for the next best- maybe not best- but next thing he collected.
"Hairballs...I collect Tigger's hairballs...All different sizes , shapes and forms, and weight, too...It's amazing what comes out of our cats mouths..."He said in a fake interested voice.
He did collect them, stuffed them in a little pencil box.

"Hairballs?" Kurumi repeated raising an eyebrow. "And you think my collecting forks is weird?" Maybe she had been better off if she hadn't asked. Collecting hairballs sounded like it was a messy business - not to mention disgusting.

"No.... I actually- don't laugh at me- I'm very insecure about this...I collect beanie babies..."Adam told her, leaning in...
Furballs weren't that disgusting just little clumps of fur , it was soothing actually...
"And I sleep with the cat beanie baby the most- because of tigger..."

Kurumi's eye lit up when she heard Adam say that he collected beanie babies. Well, she knew what part of his Christmas gift was going to be! "Really?" she whispered back so as not to draw attention to the situation. "That is, rather adorable actually." Kurumi gave him a soft pat on the back and then, looking over his shoulder, noticed a rather old and beat up looking hippo beanie baby. "I hope you take better care of them than this poor guy," she said picking it up as a few of its bean stuffings fell out.

"Really...I knew you would like hearing something like that- coming from me...
Oh don't worry I keep them in mint , prestine condition, inside a little cabinet...All nice and I brush them every 2 weeks
Adam gasped when the beanie beabies guts spilled out. Who could treat such a collectable in such a crude manner.He picked it up and rubbed it's head soothingly, if only all beanie babies were treated like how he did it, no one baby would be hurt.

Adam seemed to take better care of his beanie babies than she did of her forks. They were all in the bottom of her sock drawer at the moment. Some of them were even her socks and she would get jabbed in the morning when she inserted her foot. "Maybe, I can fix this one," she smiled with a twinkle in her eyes. "It's a simple spell, really. I can do it back at Hogwarts...unless you already have a hippo beanie baby."

Adam gently took it out of her arms, and then gave it back to her.
"It's your- after you pay- you can keep it...Besides plush hippos scare me- they might come alive and squish me to death..."He said in a half serious, joking voice.
"I don't need a hippo- just you- to be happy..."

Kurumi flushed. How was she supposed to put that in a box for Christmas? She looked at the hippo and felt sorry for it, so she added it to her random forks she had picked up. "R-r-r-really?" she whispered looking at the forks. She tried to imagine this little beanie baby trying to squish Adam so as not to allow her hair turning pink.

"Yeah...Sure you can have him...I know it has it's own name but - how about Hamtaro....???Isn't that a cute name for a cute, purple hippo that will suffocate you at night?"Adam asked in a teasing voice.
"You buy Hamtaro and I will get you the forks- equal share..."He said, maybe this was his way of making everything up to her.

"Hamtaro is a name for a hamster," she giggled petting the poor thing. "I think I'll name him bubbles."

"bubbles...???What about Hungry Hippo...It's a game and suits him perfectly...Did you ever watch that show- Hamtaro...I have a big plush toy of him propped up on bed..."He smiled guiltly. It was one of those things he only kept to himself...

"Adam, Hamtaro is from Japan," she laughed. She had watched the show often and her favorite one of the hamster bunch was the one with the giant blue Ribbon. "I have one too, back home in Japan. You may have seen him on my dresser when you came to visit." Hungry Hippo? This guy certainly didn't look hungry, he looked rather pathetic. "I think Bubbles is just fine."

"I know he is from Japan...Ham ...Ham...Hamtaro..."Adam sang, putting his hands up to his chest so that they were stubs, as he jumped up and down with each HAM, he had said.
"Bubbles- so that means, we need to find him two girls, Blossom and Buttercup..."He smiled cheekily.

Kurumi tilted her head to the side? "Why does he need two girls named Blossom and Buttercup?" Perhaps this was some sort of inside joke Adam had with his other friends from London?

"Well you name Hungry Hippo here- Bubbles...I am thinking of Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles from the Powerpuff girls...You probably never got that show in Japan, and now I sound more downright an idiot than I usually do."He said in fast speech, his voice lowering every word.

"You're not an idiot," she laughed patting his shoulder. "But, you're right. I've never seen the Powerpuff Girls." Maybe she would have to find them in the archives in the library. "Was it good?"

He shrugged his shoulders..."It had it's moments...All good here...Are you gonna take Bubbles and Forklift???"He asked...

"I think I will," she smiled looking back at her fork. She could bring it home during the Christmas holidays and put it in her sock drawer. "You going to buy your weird sign?" Maybe she could charm some cow stuffed animals to go marching into the boy's dormitory and fly onto his bed.

Adam show cased the cow sign, and waved it proudly in the air.
"Of course I am- this is vintage, classic and all Adam Burn like...Here's my money- can you pay for me- I'm still rubbish with wizard money...."He told her with a pleading smile.

And he was saying that she was too immature because she was 12? Look who couldn't handle their own money. Kurumi still found herself giggling as she took his money. "Alright. I'll meet you outside the store then?"

"Yes...."Adam said nodding.

Kurumi smiled as she took Adam's basket with the sign in it. "I should only be a few minutes," she said as he eyes looked towards some funny hats.

Justin made his way into the..........ermmmm..............store that he'd never noticed before. Wow he needed to take more notice. But then it may not have been there last time he entered Hogsmeade. Or he just didn't bother to take notice. It was Justin Hendricks. He only notced pranks in WWWs in Diagon Alley. Never anything in stores like this. He didn't even know why he was here. Why was he here? And why on earth did it smell of sawdust? He hated that smell, mostly because it made him sneeze. A rather distinct smell of sawdust actually. Never mind. He ignored it and continued walking around the store still wondering why he was actually here. Maybe he'd meet some new people. Maybe!

Melrose looked around. She had never seen this store before. Well she's never seen most of these stores before. She walked on wearing her light purple sundress with white strapy high heels. Her blonde hair was curled to perfection. Her eye liner was perfectly lined and black. Her hazel/green eyes looked brighter already. Mel looked around and walked on. She didn't know what she was even looking for. But before she knew it she ran into some guy.

Justin turned around as someone ran into him. He was slightly angry but as soon as he saw it was a girl who'd ran into him, all anger had gone. She was cute. "Are you as lost as I am? Or did you mean to run into me?" he asked, eyebrows cocked up and his head cocked to one side.

Oooh he's kinda cute. Melrose smiled and revealed her pearly whites. Well she should say both... "Well both really." she giggled. "I'm Melrose Salvatore." Melrose said, sweetly. "I'm so very sorry about running into you." she told him. "Do you go to Hogwarts?" she asked him. Melrose looked around. "...So what house are you in..." Mel asked him.

Justin smiled at her. She had a cute smile. O great. He'd just met her and he was complimenting her in his mind already? "Pleasure meeting you Melrose. I'm Justin Hendricks" he replied in a similar manor to her response but not quite as sweet. More.....kind-hearted? He didn't exxactly know himself. "I do go to Hogwarts and I'm in Slytherin" he said answering both questions. Now to find out if they'd see any more of each other after this meeting. "What about you? Surely this won't be the last time we see each other?" he asked inqusitively.

He had a very flirty smile. Melrose put on a cute, flirty smile. "Also a pleasure to meet you as well Justin." Melrose said, twirling her bright blonde, curly hair. "Ooh you do? That's great." she said in her French accent. "Ah Slytherin." she twirled her hair some more in her fingers some more. "I am going to Hogwarts. I'm in Hufflepuff." Mel smiled some more. "So what year are you in?" Mellie asked.

Justin couldn't help but smile at Melrose. "Glad to hear it" he replied with a hint of fliry in his voice. It was great eh? And her accent then was so cute. "Indeed it is, madame" he replied. Not a good idea to go into the whole French conversation thing. He always ran out of things to say. "Indeedy. But don't worry, the pranks won't head toward you" he said. He only pranked girls who wished to be pranked or were destined to it. "Interesting. I'm in fifth year" he told her. So this wouldn't be the last they saw of each other then? Yay.

Melrose nodded. "Well I'm glad about that. My brother used to do it all of the time when he used to live at home with my mum and I." she told him. "But I'm used to pranks." she told him. Ahhh she was in the same year as her. "You're in your fifth year? That's great I am too." Melrose said happily.

Justin giggled slightly. "I love pranking people but only if they disserve it" he admitted. And sometimes if he was just in that type of mood. Which was most of the time. O wells. That was just him. "O really? What a coincidence" he replied. She seemed rather happy about that.

Melrose looked over at him. She giggled. "Well I hope I don't deserve it." she laughed. "I tend to do hings I don't mean to do at times." Mel told him. "How is it a coincidence?" Melrose asked Justin. She wanted to know how it was a coincidence. What else should she ask him. Oh yeah. "So what else do you like to do besides pranking people?" Melrose asked.

Justin shrugged. Still didn't disserve to be pranked. Yet. But she didn't seem like she was going to annoy him enough for him to prank her so it was cool. "Well accidents can be forgiven" he told her with a slight smile. Great! Now he was in a deep hole, wasn't he? "I honestly have no idea why it's a coincidence" He wasn't going to tell her that he thought she was cute and that was why it was a coincidence. No way. He wasn't that stupid. Was he? "I play guitar. That's it really" he answered.

Melrose wanted to tell him so much that he was good looking but she would seem very weird telling him that but it has never stopped her before. "That's cool. I love to go sailing. It's very fun." Now just tell him Melrose. It's not like he's going to laugh at you, but if he does why should it matter to you? "I hope I don't sound like a mad person but..." she stopped. "...but I think you're cute..." Oh...crap...

Justin smiled. Sailing was cool and something he'd NEVER tried before but it sounded quite fun and relaxing. "That's something I've never tried before. If I did I'd probably end up in the water" he replied. He never was that steady at new things. But then he wasn't steady in himself at times. He looked at her taking interest in what she had to say. Sound like a mad person? Only he could ever do that. But he was shocked at what she said. Now what to say. "Whoa! Really? You don't sound mad......You just caught me by surprise" he replied. Umm. Akward.

Melrose smiled. "You should totally try sailing. It's amazing. I've been to five countries on a boat already." she told him. "I just love to travel." Then she had to face him for what she said. "Oh...um...just ignore what I had just said about you...I was stupid to say that."

Why was her smile so cute? Justin shook himself out of it and listened to Melrose. "The last boat I went on was a Ferry from Paris to New York then a plane from New York to London" he replied. And he only went to Paris to see family. And meeting the girl of his dreams didn't work too well. He shook his head at her. "No.......No you wasn't. If anything it made it easier for me to face the reality of liking a girl" he replied. Was that hint that he was crushing on Melrose? "Just to let you know, you have a really cute smile, and it matches an extremely cute and sweet girl" he told her.

"At least you've been on a boat." Melrose flashed him a flirty smile. "Oh and who is this girl that you like?" Melrose played dumb. It had to be her. She just knew it. She hung out with guys enough to know that he just might like her the slightest bit. "Aww. Why thank you..."

"Guess so" replied Justin with a slight smile. Right now he felt a little awkward. "If I told you that it'd be me that sounds stupid. Besides, you're probably already in a relationship" he replied. Surely she didn't expect him to fall for the 'act dumb' thing. "And you're most welcome"

Melrose shook her head. "I'm sorry but I'm not in a relationship. Well not anymore. My last relationship didn't end well. My boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. But that was back in March. I just need to forget about it." Melrose blabbed on. "And no it doesn't sound stupid that it's you." Melrose told him.

Justin listened to Melrose. So did she twig that he liked her? "Doesn't sound too good. Sorry to hear that" he replied. Forget about it? Did that mean something? Probably not. "Glad it doesn't sound stupid. But I don't believe I've told you that it's you that I like" Well he had now.

"It didn't go so well but it's all in the past and I'm not to worried about it..." Mel told him. Yay. Mellie was right about him liking her. "Ahh so I was right. You do like me. You know that's a real good thing." Melrose told him. "Because I like you too."

"Looks like we've both had a rocky relationship in the past then. But the way my last relationship ended was my dad's fault so" replied Justin in confidence that not one word of this conversation would be breathed to anyone else. He believed Melrose could keep it to herself. "You were guessing I like you? Man I'm more predictable than I thought" he joked. Then she said it. She said the inevitable. She liked him back. He couldn't help but smile at that. "Really?"

"Well that sucks for both of us." Melrose told him. "No you're not I just know guys very well." Mellie told Justin. Melrose nodded and flash his a flirty smile. "Yes, really..." Melrose looked at her watch, oh crap...she had to go. "I'm sorry to end the conversation like this but I have to go. I hope we can talk more while at Hogwarts..." Melrose said. She kissed him on the cheek and walked out off the shop.

Justin giggled slightly. Why did he always do that? Giggling when he liked a girl was not a good thing. "Indeed it does" he finally replied. Wow she really did like him back. Chaching. "So the lord does like me" he joked. Not a time for joking but when God gives you oranges, make orange juice. Or something like that anyway. But she had to go now. "It was nice meeting you" he said. He smiled when she kissed him on the cheek. Of course, he was doing somersaults inside.

Dervish & Banges was definitely Braeden's favourite shop in Hogsmeade, right after Honeyduke's. They had everything here! EVERYTHING. Even things the boy didn't even know existed until he saw them here.

The best part? Everything the shop had to offer was aimed for both pureblood wizards and muggleborn wizards, like himself. So there were many neat little muggle things the boy could buy and then take home and show his family (though most of the time his mother considered it to be silly things that only occupied space... she was right).

The boy was just absentmindedly examining an old broken wristwatch that could, apparently, be opened, and the inside was filled with ink, just in case you ever needed an ink bottle right away without searching your backpack. The downside was that if you left the top (which was the watch's face) open and moved your arm, all the ink would just spill out… It was magical, though, so it never ran out of ink. Cleaning up the mess was another story, though, and Braeden had to learn this the hard way as he quickly pulled the watch off and tried his best to clean up the mess of ink he'd just left on the table. GAH.

Despite having attended Hogwarts for nearly two years, Roderigo had never set foot inside Hogsmeade. At least the weather was warmer now than it had been for most of term. The warm sun was making him hot, so he took off his cloak and tucked it into his bag. As he walked along the quaint Wizarding village, the joke shop Dervish and Banges caught his eye. Highly intrigued, the Spaniard walked up to the door and entered the shop. The seventh-year Ravenclaw instantly fell in love with it. There were endless shelves of tiny, intricate knickknacks. He walked over to a rather large, Muggle Cuckoo Clock when he heard a slightly rambunctious clatter from nearby. He turned around to see who else but Braeden Stonem trying to clean up yet another mess he'd gotten himself into, literally. Shaking his head, he walked up to the Gryffindork.
"What've you done this time," he asked, chuckling. He peered at the massive amount of black ink that had spilled all around. "Really?" He asked, laughing.

Braeden jumped a bit and turned around sharply as he heard a voice ask what he'd done this time. Immediately, he assumed it to be the shop owner, who had probably come over to charge him for the mess and clean it up with his lion's mane. However, what he found was Roderigo instead.

Whew.
"Rod!" He gave his Ravenclaw friend a dorky, nervous grin. "Oh, I… might have spilled a bit of ink…" he muttered, looking like a little kid who'd just been caught committing a crime. His hands were smeared in black ink, and it had tainted his pants as he searched for his wand.

"What brings you here?" he asked casually, hoping to get the attention AWAY from his clumsiness. He could fix this on his own. Let's forget it ever happened, eh?

Roderigo couldn't help but laugh at the reaction his Gryffindor friend had when he spoke to him. Who did Brae think he was, the shopkeeper coming to reprimand him for spilling ink everywhere? Seeing the mess Brae was making all over himself and the floor, the Spaniard pulled out his own wand and pointed it at the ink spillage.
"I've got it," he said, fearing that Brae could potentially make the mess even worse. "Tergeo." His wand siphoned the ink from the floor and Braeden's clothes. Placing his wand back into the pocket of his robes, Roderigo leaned against a large wooden beam that supported the shop.
"Well this is my first time in Hogsmeade," he said, looking around the shop. "And I saw this place first. It's really nice." He said. "What about you?" He didn't see Brae as one to collect knickknacks and whatnot.

Braeden gave Rod a weak smile when the young Ravenclaw decided to clean up the mess for him. How was it that he always ended up making a mess, and other people always ended up cleaning it up for him? Hmm. Well, now that he thought about it, that wasn't something to complain about… He should be glad he has minions to clean up after him. >:]

"Thanks," said the boy with one of his lopsided grins as he watched the ink magically disappear from his clothes. He set the ink bottle/watch back on the table and grabbed a sand clock instead, watching as its sand changed colours magically.

And then Roderigo explained this was his first time in Hogsmeade. GASP! "What?!" Braeden couldn't believe his ears. "But--but--but--but--HOW?! Why?!" Ignoring the Spaniard's following questions, Braeden went on with his freak out, "But Hogsmeade is the best part of even coming to Hogwarts! Don't tell the professors or even our classmates I said that…" He looked around warily. "Where else have you been? Just here? You have to see Honeyduke's!"

She could use some company.
 

Hogsmeade was crowded!

Yes, almost by Hogwarts students from all year levels. The Professors and other School Staff were also there, she even saw Professor Roslund and Professor Scabior in the Main Street when she entered the village.

Beezus wanted to visit Madame Puddifoot's so bad and get some ice cream but when she went there earlier, there were so many people that she couldn't even fit through the door. It was the same on the Three Broomsticks and even on the Candy Shop! Gaaaahhh, there were just too many. And that was the very reason she was here, in a shop she doesn't even know the what the name is.

SIGH.

"Just where in Merlin's beard am I?" the eaglette inquired as she looked around, up at the ceilings, and down at the floor. 'I...don't think I'm still in Hogsmeade', she thought.

Hogsmeade...

Jonathan hasn't visited this place in such a long time. Last term he wanted to go but ended up not going because he felt like a bear, he wanted to hibernate during the fall season... or was that winter? Jonathan is a big fan of sleeping so he usually goes out especially to Hogmeade when he has nothing to buy at all. But he really has to right now. It's boring to be alone at the dungeons when everyone is spending there days here.

Jonathan aimed to go to 3 places today which is the quill shop, the wizardwear shop and Madame Pudifoots shop for something to eat. Jonathan walked around the alley when he noticed this corner of Hogsmeade.

What is this place anyway? He has been at Hogwarts for such a long time but he hasn't been here though. Was it even here in the previous years he was here? Jonathan then walked entered the place and it looks really old. It's quite creepy too. His eyes wasn't focusing on the ground. It was searching high and low--- nothing in specific. Jonathan was just curious to this place then all of a sudden he bumped into someone... well, technically it's sort of a nudge. He didn't see the person in front of him

"Sorry" he said as he quickly shifted his eyes over the person he bumped into. As he finally realized who he bumped into, his eyes narrowed. "Great" he said in a sarcastic tone. "Didn't expect you to be here" he mumbled as he narrowed his eyes.

'Was that the smell of sawdust? Really?' Beezus coughed. Just where in the world she was, she didn't have any idea. But all those spooky looking things around here kindled a fire of excitement within her. Sometimes, she just doesn't understand herself, at times, she likes cute things then all of a sudden, she'd be flailing over something unusual.

Another siiiiiiigh. Maybe she should get herself checked?

Beezus was about to pivot around--she was getting herself checked remember? So, she was about to head back to the school and see the Healer, when she bumped into someone, or did that someone bump into her? She was to shrug it off and just go but decided against it when she found out who that someone was.

Jonathan Kim. Slytherin's Obsessive-Compulsive Disordered student. 'And what was that? Great? It sure was great' she on the other hand thought sarcastically. As he narrowed his eyes which were already narrow and told her of the unexpected, the eaglette casually shrugged. "Ermm..do I know you?" Spiteful little eaglette, she is. But she immediately followed it with, "Naaahh..Of course I know you. Likewise, didn't expect to see you here." Beezus didn't want them to clash again. Kurumi won't like that.

Jonathan never really considered her as a person that would joke around him. He still remembers the time they encountered at the dungeons corridor, which wasn't that long. So yeah, the whole Do I know you routine, isn't exactly as funny as she thought it would be. Jonathan starred at her with a blank expression. Now that he thinks about it, he had the same awful encounter with Louisa as well. They're both Ravenclaws too. What is up with that? At least though, Louisa and Jonathan eventually became friends in the end.

Should he make the same joke as well?

Jonathan shrugged when she also didn't expect him to come to this place. She has a point too but still, does she know he's OCD or something? "How come you're here, then?" he asked as he started to look at the displayed stuffs. Do people still buy here?

He gave her a blank expression. She badly wanted to wave her hands in front of him frantically and ask him if he was numb or if he merely lacked humor. She was trying to be funny per se, so that the two of them won't quarrel again and all she received was a blank face. How about she slap his blank expression-ed face with ice cream?!

What was she doing there? Honestly, she was just lurking around Hogsmeade for all the other shops were very crowded when she saw that shop. Seeing as it was quieter than the others, she decided to take a look. Yeap....Beezus was about to open her mouth and tell him that when his head started turning around as he seemingly eyed the displays. Waiiiiit..just wait. He was talking to her, correct? Didn't he knew that diverting someone's attention whilst he was still talking to someone wasn't good? The eaglette couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "Did you find something interesting?" she asked as she followed where he was looking. Then she faced him while she crossed her arms above her chest. "And whaat? Would I still need to answer your question or you would just look at that dead looking displays instead of paying attention to someone that's actually breathing?"

OMG!!! Beezus is cracking me up! XD rotfl.

Was that an eyebrow raised? Jonathan could not still forget about their conversation down at the dungeons. Did this girl ever learned her lesson? His eyes is focused now on her. Eyeing her from top to bottom with his narrows eyes with a smirk on his face. Not bad, she likes green... Slytherin color.

Jonathan nodded "Yes" he replied with his one answer specialty. But then Jonathan suddenly paused when Beatrice added the latter part. She was looking and sounding cockier as ever. "So do I have to look at you everytime we converse?" he asked. Of course his tone was sarcastic and probably that was a rhetorical question. "We don't even like each other" he said mumbling under his breath. It's pretty much quiet here so she probably have heard that one.

The eaglette closed her eyes forcefully for two seconds. Merlin, students from Slytherin House could always cut her patience. REALLY. 'So do I have to look at you everytime we converse?' That stupid and annoying question kept ringing on her ears. Gaaaah, she wanted to scream at his face that yes, it was necessary. But a few strands of her manners took over. Instead, she inhaled deeply and forced a smile. "I think so. So I would know I'm the one you're talking to and not that pus-filled jars around."

Walk out. That was what she's about to do before she heard him adding a teeny tiny bit sentence. Beezus halted and faced him, square on. "Pfft. Of course we don't like each other." Snort. "Who would even like someone who's disordered and humorless like you?" the eaglette asked in a very soft voice that anyone who'd hear her would think the world just turned upside down.

It is indeed a very fine day and Jonathan talking to Beezus just keeps getting better and better. It's been awhile since he had a teasing argument from a lower year. Besides, it was after all a cold day, it lessens the hot head. Jonathan saw her forced smile and gave a small laugh. Yeah, Jonathan is a fan of those. Everybody loves a good fake smile, don't they?

Listening to her made him grin. Jonathan leaned closer to her this time, leveling with her face. "I think you're sorted under the wrong house because no one talks to pus filled jars." he said then he looked left and right "Thing is, you're the only person here so obviously, you're the person I'm talking to" he added.

Jonathan leaned over the wall as she saw Beezus walked and eventually stopped in the middle. He's disordered and humorless? Wow, that's rich. "I suppose you're the queen of comedy then" he also smiled at her sweetly. Well, it was rather a rotten sweet smile.

Eh? She was sorted into the wrong house? As Jonathan leveled with her, she glared at him without blinking. There was no way she was going to let him off that fast. She too had those thoughts before, sorted into the wrong house. But later, she discovered that the sorting hat had decided correctly, for being in Ravenclaw house wasn't all about being intelligent. It was a house for those who persevere. Though some didn't quite lived up to uphold that value. "You know Jon-jon," a small pause. Hehehehe. "I think otherwise, because if you try talking to those pus-filled jars then actually I'd be able to see someone who talks with the latter." Beezus explained mischievously.

A sweet smile was given to her.

Sweet smile! Merlin, that wasn't anywhere sweet. Jonathan looked as if his teeth had just been removed using a scissor. Time for a counter attack. "Queen of comedy. Why..that's flattering." the eaglette gave the snake a satisfied smile. "And I believe you're the King for the most awful facial expressions?" Yeah, no one could beat him at that.

Ella entered Dervish and Banges with a smile, still holding on to Logan's hand. She looked over her shoulder at him, excitedly. "See? I told you it was cool." There was stuff all over the place, muggle and magical items, and Ella's eyes widened as she took everything in.

Logan looked around the shop. This was pretty cool! He smiled at Ella. "Yeah it is!" he said, still smiling at her.

Ella kept looking around, pulling Logan along excitedly. She hoped he didn't mind her excitement. "It's nice being around some muggle stuff for a change." Ella said happily. "Reminds me of home a bit." Ella was pretty homesick but was trying to stay positive. She didn't want to complain as she was in an amazing place with an amazing boy.

Logan walked with her, smiling. He looked around again and nodded. "Yeah, it is." he said. "It reminds me of home too." he said. That wasn't a good thing though...he hated home. It wasn't even home...Hogwarts was Logan's home. He smiled at this.

Ella looked at him, wondering if it bothered him...her talking about home. She turned to face him and looked in his eyes. "Does it bother you, I mean me talking about home?" She tried to stay focused on what she wanted to say but it was hard when she was looking at him like this and he was just so darn cute. It was easy for a girl to get sidetracked. Wait what was I saying again? Oh right, home... "I mean I know that you don't have great memories of home and-" She looked down at her shoes feeling bad for even bringing it up.

That was a rather odd explanation for something he had asked in the most rhetorical way. Was it because she's young she bloody don't know what is the difference between a rhetorical question and a real question? It quite funny how she manages to answer every bits of question Jonathan has asked. Quite frankly it is rather amusing to him that she does that a lot. Obviously, Jonathan doesn't have to say more about it. He just looked at her and his face wanted to laugh. Yes, silly little girl. You don't need to answer that question.

Jonathan shook his head slowly and snorted "That was not a compliment" because if it was Jonathan would be laughing at her so-called jokes instead of staring at her, pausing and blanking out.

And so it was awards night or something? Jonathan chuckled "I beg to differ. I pretty much think you deserve the award" he said folding his arms across his chest. WAIIIITTT!!!! Why is it that Beatrice--- this girl has a negative vibe for Slytherins? Even on their first encounter she already didn't like him. What is up with that. "If I may ask, why is it that you hate our kind?" he smirked. Yes, he means, Slytherins. There could be a lot of reasons for this. It could be because her family swore they'd disown her if she was sorted under Slytherin; it could also be that she encountered some awful Slytherins in the past which is mostly likely not happening since she had just enrolled from Hogwarts not too long ago OR--- Jonathan smiled deviously "Is it because you liked someone before and he didn't have the same mutual feeling?" he teased. It could be that too.

But thing is, if it were really the reason, then who could be that guy?

'Well? Cat got your tongue? That you can't give a response to my explanation?' Beezus wanted to ask Jonathan that. He didn't have any reply to what she said earlier so she assumed that he ran out of things to say. Yeah, she's just too good.

T'was not a compliment? Oh, really now? 'Maybe he's just too shy to admit that.' the eaglette said in her mind. Why else would he call her queen of comedy? Unless it was said to imply irony. And that's when it hit her. Yes, that wasn't a compliment. Gaaaah, where was her brain? He was mocking her! "Suit yourself.." she replied as she gave him a sharp look. Oh..she'll have her revenge at another time.

Beezus was about to give an answer to his next question when he didn't even gave her the time to do so for he suddenly had another inquiry. She snorted and shrugged. Why did she hate their kind? What kind? The kind with those blank expressions? Or the ones who talked to pus-filled jars? "What kind are you talking about? Slytherins?" Maybe he'd think she was slow, but it was still best to ask before answering. 'AND.. WHAAAAT?' "What?" the eaglette couldn't help but voice out what she was thinking. So Jonathan was thinking she was bitter towards Slytherin boys just because there was a certain someone from that house she liked and didn't return the feelings? "Ha! You're pathetic Jonathan.." Yeap, he was a hopeless case. "Look, I don't like anyone." Or maybe she did, but she won't tell him that. "Especially not someone from your house," There was just no chance. Or was there? She did miss having a certain someone annoy her during those few times they'd see each other.

Yet she dismissed the thought immediately and bit her lower lip. No, she was never going to admit that. Never.

Logan felt his heart skip a few beats as she looked in his eyes. How could he stop from doing that? It was SO annoying! He shook his head. "No, not really." he said, shrugging. He then listened to what she said and looked at the shelves again. "I er...well I have a f-few good memories there I guess. It's fine, don't worry about it." he said truthfully. The only good memories of home were having Cardigan and Taylor over and the maid Emmy. She was real sweet to him.

Ella nodded, wondering if he meant it. "Okay, good then." She looked down trying to think of something useful to say. Not able to think of anything, she scanned the shelves, setting her eyes on a glass item that looked much like a top. "Is that a-a sneakoscope?" She asked, walking closer to the object.

Logan smiled at her and looked at what she was looking at. "I think so!" he said, peering at it.

"I've heard of these things!" She said, fascinated. "I heard they start going all crazy if someone is doing something untrustworthy near it."

"Wow, fascinating!" he said. He'd never heard about that before! He just knew the name. And what it looked like.

Ella nodded her head, agreeing completely. "It is fascinating! I would hate to be doing something untrustworthy around it-not that I would-but I mean this thing is supposed to cause quite a disturbance!" She laughed, happy she would never have to worry about setting one of these things off.

"Yeah, I get whatcha mean!" Logan replied with a little nod of his head. "I would hate it too!" he said.

Ella touched the sneakoscope gingerly and then decided to move on, knowing she wasn't going to purchase it. "I wonder what else they have in here..."

"Same here. Probably some real wacky-but cool-stuff." he said with a grin.

After exploring the shop a little more, Ella looked down at her watch and realized it was getting late. She glanced over at Logan hoping he wouldn't disappointed that she wanted to go back. Not that she expected him to go with her, she didn't but either way she had to head back to the castle. She frowned. "Shoot-Logan, I should be getting back to the castle. I have to finish some homework up. I'm sorry." She hoped he wasn't upset. It was lame but she really did want to do well in her classes and getting her work done on time was important to her.

Logan kept himself from looking depressed. He was having a fantastic time with Ella, but she did have to do her homework. "No, that's fine. You go on ahead...I'll stay a little longer." he said, hugging her. "See ya." he said, smiling.

Ella sighed. She didn't want to leave! Why did she have to leave? Why in the name of Merlin's beard did they need to do homework? Weren't the students learning a great deal just experiencing the wizarding world? Ella hugged Logan back, trying not to let on how conflicted she was because if he asked her to stay she would and then she'd never get any work done. She kissed his cheek and looked up into his eyes. "I really am sorry..." She smiled. "I'll see you around later, okay?" She walked away from him towards the door but before leaving she turned back to wave, smiling shyly. She wouldn't mind have a hundred more days like this.

Logan blushed deeply as she kissed his cheek, and he tried his hardest not to get lost in her eyes. Yeesh, and before he went to Hogwarts he thought all this lovey stuff was disgusting...what was wrong with him then? "It's okay, don't worry about it." he said, smiling. "See ya." he said, sighing and watching as she left. He then turned to look around the shop more.
