Ok, standing up was that hard right.....wrong. Lily tried to stand up but her legs didn't want to go straight, especially the knee that she had injured earlier in the year. Why was it that on mornings when Lily wanted to just sit and listen, they were made to stand up and do exercises...Groaning as she finally stood up, Lily looked around while stifling an obvious yawn. Hey yawns are contagious... All she had to do now was wait for the professor to tell them what to do, so Lily tried to get comfortable, which was hard to do while standing.

Once most of them were up on their feet, Medea slowly nodded and let her arms fall to her side. They all looked like zombies. "Start moving." Yup, moving. "Stretch your legs, arms, or back. Hop around. Do some jumping jacks. Flail your hands about. Valk in circles...I don't care vot you do, but you gotta be moving somehow."

She herself was rolling her shoulders, stretching her back in the process. "And as you all do that..." Or should be doing that. "Who can tell me vot a dark artifact is?"

Taylor kept stretching. She raised her hand, "A dark artifact is an object used for an evil purpose, charmed to be evil and/or has evil properties.....right?" Tay wasnt too sure.

Gideon had stood up when directed by the professor, class obviously begun. He awaited for instruction on what they were to do and didn't have to wait long as Professor Romanos told them to move around. Given the option, the Gryffindor decided to simply stretch to try and warm himself up for whatever else was to come. And then the question.

"A dark artifact is an object that contains evil spells or magical effects."

Alyssa rolled her shoulders and moved her feet up and down like she was walking on the spot as she thought for a moment pondering on the question. She then raised her hand and answered. "Professor is a dark artifact is a magical object that contains sinister and dangerous magical powers? Like for example the Hand of Glory and the Opal necklace that was reported to have taken 19 lives and almost Katie Bell's back in the days of Harry Potter."

Kennedy stretched his arms and rolled his shoulders as he stretched his right leg and shook it, then did the same with the left one.

He raised his hand to answer the question as he arched his back backwards...that felt nice. "Since an artifact is human-made then a dark artifact would be an item that was purposely made to have have dark magical effects," he said.

Just...need to move? Kurumi slowly hopped in place, feeling rather embarrassed about the whole thing but doing so only because they had been instructed to. She rolled her ankles a bit more and then flailed her arms awkwardly to try and loosen up her muscles for whatever it was they were doing.

The fact that she wanted them to be moving around and have all their joints loosened was rather alarming though...especially when the subject matter was presented. Dark artifacts.

Breaking down the concepts in her head, namely an artifact being something made or given shape by humans, Kurumi hopefully deduced what the definition of a Dark artifact was. "A Dark artifact is something that was made or given shape using the dark arts - whether that be spells, potions, or dark creatures. A horcrux is another example."

Just move somehow? Well, that wasn't too bad. At least it wasn't some sort of difficult yoga pose.

Vashti started stretching her arms and thought about the question Professor Romanos asked about dark artifacts. Once she had finished stretching her arms, she raised her hand. "A dark artifact could be an object that someone has bewitched using Dark Magic, so it could be used for any number of dark, possibly evil purposes." She was tempted to give an example as well, but the professor hadn't really asked for one, so Vashti lowered her hand and focused on stretching her legs.

Messer stood up and started to stretch his legs and arms. But he's not going to hop around the class that would be so weird, maybe he'd do that later outside the class. And then come the first question. He raised his hand "Its an item that created by Dark Magic for many purpose but mainly to cause harm."

Amelia blinked as they were told to move in any random way that they wanted to. She shrugged and started hopping on one foot before raising her hand to answer the question. "A dark object is anything that is made or given shape to through the use of the dark arts. A horcrux is a good example of a dark object."

Jory just flailed his hands about. He had to admit, he was feeling a bit more awake now. He raised his left hand to answer the question. "A Dark artifact is something that has had a curse put on it to cause harm to others,'' he said.

Nerida had stood up and moved...She had never really been commanded to move before. She hadnt really thought about purposely moving, it was more of an impulse to her. She slowly began to do jumping jacks but felt silly while doing so, she stopped and moved her arms in front of her in circles.

A dark artifact...She raised her hand and said A dark artifact is item that had dark magic placed on it to cause physical harm to another witch or wizard. She wondered if she got that right, she listened to the other anwsers and smiled she had gotten it right. She wouldnt get those weird looks saying What is she talking about? Thank goodness.
Thinking of something else she raised her hand once more and asked the professor, Are there any well known dark artifacts other than Horcruxs and the ones in Harry Potter's time?

Eyes drooping, Hades didn't even thought of making fun of the professor's accent again. At leas they were talking about dark stuffs. It was always one of his expertise. "Things that's been enchanted by dark magic?" asked he questioningly even though his confidence to that answer was more than half.

Forcing her sleepy body to start moving, Daisy stood up and started to jog on the spot, looking weird doing so in her uniform but carrying on regardless whilst she hoped she wasn't the only one waking herself up in such a weird way.
'A dark object,' she raised her hand, ponytail bobbing up and down with her running, 'has had dark magic put on it by a witch or wizard intentionally, and is either left to unsuspecting people to harm them, or is used for a specific purpose.'

Quickly ting her hair so that the awful blue hair streak wasn't that visible, Gwendolyn waited patiently for the first question. Hopfeully there won't be any yoga included in this lass, the young Ravenclaw told herself. She somehow still wasn't able to tell why yoga was actually good for something. Standing up, Gwen drew her attention back to the Professor just in time to hear her ask the question about the dark artifact.

Hmmm. 'Dark items. Objects on which dark magic was used' Err. Somehow. 'For example, cursed books', the third year added. But then... was Tom Riddle's Diary a cursed book? But it was a Horcrux... could it have been both? Probably not. Hmm. It was definitely a Horcrux, but what fits in the category of cursed books? All of them on which dark magic was casted, or were there some specific spells? Errr. All this started to get a bit to confusing for her. And it was only the beginning of the lesson!

Now they had to use more energy. Well, at least they weren't being forced to do push ups or jump jacks, they had a choice of what they wanted to do. What stretching movement was easy enough to do without standing out from the others? Adam stretched out his right hand across the opposite side of his chest and grabbed the shoulder bone stretching it as far as he could.

Laura looked at the Professor this is where she would normally have a laugh but well she decided to be serious, sighing a little bit she stuck up her hand and smiled. "It is something with dangerous magic in it." Laura said whilst walking in a circle.

Raven stood up from her mat and started to strech her legs, arms, and back. Then she raised her hand and tried to answer the question.

"Well, I think dark artifact is an object which had contained dark magic such as horcrux, maybe?" she said unsure.

They had to be moving somehow? Hehe.. Ira giggled. Yeah, that sure was a good way to keep them all awake or quite literally 'on their toes'. So she began stretching out her arms one by one, then legs. Yeah, she indeed was feeling a little fresh. At least she would be able to answer some questions asked!

Ira pondered over the question asked. Dark artifacts? She raised her hand up and answered, "Professor, they are objects on which dark magic has been performed, that is, they have been cursed."

Saying so, she went back to her hopping and jumping.

That brought a mischievous smirk to the little, dark dark-haired girl's face. ''Oh well.'' As she wished. Her smirk growing bigger, she dropped her bag and her school robe on it right on the purple mat and stretched a bit before starting to...

..run around people not bothered by people being on her way as she either shoved them away or simply ran in them. She was giggling loudly as well apparently enjoying the class. That was her favourite so far.

But when the professor asked a question she stopped and stared at her while trying to catch her breath. A dark artifact? She thought she had some ideas about that as she had been reading the DADA book. Before she said anything though, she listened to the others speak. It did not take much time and the girl was rolling her eyes at them in an exeggerated way.

''I don't think we need textbooks anymore while we have them professor.'' Especially that Prefect Kurumi. Lea glared at her before turning back to the professor hands on her hips. ''A dark artifact, i understand, is something to stay away from unless you know how to handle it. I think any object that has been created by evil people for an evil purpose can be one.''

Now...could she keep running around?

Keefer loved the fact that they had been given permission to do whatever they wanted. Well, movement-wise, at least. He began to whirl his arms in giant circles like a windmill. He then proceeded to bend down and touch his left foot, straighten, bend to his right foot, and straighten. Repeat. Meanwhile, he exercised his brain muscle by pondering the question.

When Romanos's gaze turned his way, he stopped moving for a bit and elevated his hand to signal his desire to speak. "I'm not sure dark artifacts are always inherently evil, as if there is no other possible use for them. I've heard about this Hand of Glory that you put a candle in and it only gives light to the person holding it. Sure, that could be used for thieves, but it could also come in handy for Aurors that don't want their presence known and still need to see." Ah, gray areas. Often troublesome. "So maybe dark artifacts are things that are more easily used for evil purposes? I don't know, this is just as hard as trying to define a dark spell."

He shook his head. Romanos sure did like making them think. Aaaaand back to stretching.

Violet got out of her seat with difficulty, but started stretching her legs and arms to wake herself up. While she was jumping up and down, she raised her hand to answer the professor's question. "A dark artefact might not be evil I think, but I guess dark wizards and witches can use the object for evil or dark magic easily.

Now Violet was stretching out her neck but rolling her head around in a circle. It seemed silly to do, but it was definitely waking herself up more. Violet always wondered why the Defense against the dark arts teacher would tell them to stretch or do yoga before a lesson. Was it to keep fit when you are going to duel someone and you would need to be active and healthy? Violet pondered over this thought as she started to do arm arm circles, alternating between her right and left arm.

Ahh. This was so weird. She didn't want to move about but she had no choice, did she? Grumpily, she started to stretch her arms.

When the professor proceeded to ask a question, Evelyn stopped and slowly raised her hand. "Professor, a dark artifact is an object that contains dark magic. It is used for evil purposes." Obviously. And, she continued to flail her arms about. Eh.

Kimalia raised both her hands up to stretch, "Well a dark artifact is like a cursed object, it could also have been harmless beforehand." And then she used said raised hands to bend over and touch her toes.

Sophie giggled at Professor Romanos words and started moving around as soon as the older witch told them to. First she thew her hands up and stretched her whole body, standing in tip-toes. She immediately started jumping and waving her arms around her head. Hah! That was fun!

She stopped moving her arms but kept jumping when she was about to speak. "A dark artifact is an object that was made... in a dark way. Like, made on purpose to be evil and it has dark magic in it. Or... it could be dark magic itself materialized!" That sounded scary... Sophie widened her eyes at her own answer.
