Vlimia didn't really feel comfortable talking about curses, since it brought back chills, but she listened intently to what others were saying. Oh how she wished there was a new yoga pose to set her mind on! Buut... maybe she could say something. She raised her hand and said "Sometimes witches or wizards are forced to use the Unforgivables, like Draco Malfoy had to. He would have had to summon the feeling and the intent, and it would have made him seem like a dark wizard." Vlimia said once she was picked.

With one last quick glance at her watch, Medea nodded to herself and took out her wand. With a swish, the drapes opened up, letting in natural light as the candle flames flickered out, only leaving small traces of smoke rising to the top of the ceiling.

Oh Merlin, that hurt her eyes for a moment.

"Alright. I think that's enough for today." she said, rubbing her eyes and trying to adjust to the new setting. "It vos a good review lesson. I think I have enough to know where you all are in terms of this subject. There is no homework. You were tortured enough for one day." There were considerable less groans of boredom than she'd been expecting. Then again, the majority came from their attempts at the yoga positions.

Funny how that worked out...

"You are dismissed." Smiling out at the class, she bent down to pick up her notes on the students knowledge before remembering. "Oh, and Miss Hyde? If you can please stay behind." No escaping!

Quickly letting his leg down, Hades sighed heavily. That was tiring. Wait! That was it? They're not going to learn counter-spells or something? Riiiiight. Picking up his bag, he limped to where the professor was standing. "Thanks, prof," he said trying to catch back his breathing before limping out of the classroom.

Bright light. She covered her eye from the unexpected light change. Slowly removing her hand to adjust to the lighting in the room she gave a sigh of relief hearing the word no homework. "Thanks for the lesson Professor Romanos. It was...different." She smiled at the Professor and then left.

Relief. Relief. And more relief flooded her as light illuminated their classroom. It was good to be back in the real world....Okay, so she's a bit exaggerating. But it was such a delightful situation for her. No more darkness for she can't live in those kind of places. And what's more..no homework! Oh, she was liking Professor Romanos now. Well..except for the fact that the Professor seemed to like darkness.

When she said that they were free to go, Beezus returned her things inside her backpack and approached the Professor. She has an additional favorite now! "Professor, do you err-need help? Maybe in returning the mats in their rightful place?" Or will they still use the mats next lesson?

They were dismissed? PHEW. Louisa picked up her bad and slid it on her shoulder before heading out for the door. Pausing at where the professor was, "Have a nice day, ma'am." She seemed to be one that always had nice days. Happy ones even. Heh. It was unusual considering what she taught them. Oh well. It might be Louisa's wrong view on the whole subject.

Jonathan finally took a deep breathe as they were now finally allowed to stand on both feet again. He thought he was going to get some cramps, fortunately it turned out well. It's nice though that they had to do those exercises, Jonathan barely have time to stretch his arms and legs on a daily basis. So thank you, Professor.

His eyes widened and a smile was stuck in his face when the professor announced that there were no homework! BEST.DAY.EVER!

Jonathan packed up his things and walked up to the professor Giving her a small bow "Thank you for today Professor" he said still smiling from the no homework part. Jonathan slowly walked towards the door. Great class.

Treyen's hands were instantly brought up to his eyes. MAN! The light! It was incredibly hurtful...for a few seconds. Two seconds. A second. Whatever. It hurt.

Eh...class dismissed? No homework? THANK MERLIN. He was starting to get worried as he considered the option of their homework being 'practice yoga'.

So, time to leave, yes?

The Hufflepuff picked up his bag from the floor and..., "See you, Professor." He said, as he started to walk away, out to the corridor, where he'll wait for Arya and Ellie, right? Right.

That was something to think about.. what would be the actual difference then? At least Ira had put her points across and professor seemed to like them. So far, so good.
Finally, there was light! Literally! That was a relief!

And the class was over? And no homework!! WoW! This was the awesome part of all. So the yoga positions were fine now! Hell, she would do yoga positions anytime instead of homework.. And did the professor really say 'torture'? DId she mean yoga was torture? hehe.. Thinking that, Ira giggled a bit. No homework was certainly a relief!

"Thank you for the lesson professor" and thank you for not giving homework too. she had wanted to say.. Saying so, Ira collected her things and was about to go, when another thought came into her mind, "Er.. can I um.. help you with anything?" There were so many mats to be picked up and candles to be placed back to their places..

Elise was a little shocked and wobbled slightly in her tree position thingy. This was terrible. Didn't you need balance for this? Balance was not something she usually had.

"If it's used as a form of defense or protection, I'm certain it doesn't make the practitioner Dark, Professor. Their intent wouldn't be to harm, but to protect." she nodded. "But a curse can't be the only way to take the opponent down, Professor?" she asked. Yes, a question.

She was sure that simple charms could catch an opponent just as easily as a curse.

Then, they were dismissed. That was all? And no homework? Picking up her bag, she bounded over to the Professor. "Thank you for the" torture "lesson, Professor," she beamed. "Is there anything I can help out with?"

When the light entered the room, Amelia was blinded for a moment before she managed to get used to her surroundings. Merlin, it had been dark in this room. After a few blinks she was able to see okay and took her body out of the last pose they had done.

"Thank you for the interesting... lesson, Professor." she said with a smile before leaving the classroom.

No homework. Those were two glorious words he loved to hear, especially with the Quidditch season drawing near.

He untangled his limbs and let out a sigh of relief. Much better.

Turning to leave, he stopped to address Romanos. "Thank you for an interesting and beneficial lesson, Professor. I think I even discovered some new flexibility and balance exercises for our Quidditch practices. A two-for-one!" Pleased, he headed back to the Common Room.

Daisy blinked, wincing as the real light filled the room again and she got out of the yoga position she had been in for what painfully seemed like the last five years of her life. So they didn't have homework? Awesome, she thought, grinning. Defence Against the Dark Arts just got even cooler, despite the fact that she was now blinking rapidly to try and rid the headache the light was giving her.

'Thank you Professor,' she grinned, finally finding her feet and leaving the room, 'it was an awesome lesson.'

Letting his leg fall slowly back to the ground, August was so glad for the stretches to be finished but he was enjoying the lesson aspect. He stood there for a moment a tad disappointed it was over until the Professor flung all the drapes up letting the sunlight to pour into their un-ready eyes.

AHH!

After rubbing his eyes for a minute or two, Auggie grabbed his things from beside his mat and then waved at the Professor. "Great lesson Professor Romanos, hope you have a good rest of your day." The Gryffindor then left the classroom.

Did she just say no homework? Really?

She was... the first one to say those magical words that made Nora unbelievably happy, even though she liked the lesson. And she knew she couldn't be the only one happy about it.

Since there was nothing to pack, Nora grabbed her bag from the floor and straightened her back for a moment. Let's hope nothing will hurt after that whole yoga thing. "Goodbye, professor," she smiled and then made her way to the door and out of the classroom.

Alyssa stretched out before packing her things, on her way out, she approached the Professor and said,"Thank you for a very interesting and creative way of teaching that lesson. I definitely needed a lof relaxing and those yoga positions sure helped. Anyway, now that I'm all relaxed, I was wondering whether you needed help clearing up the room today. I remember offering my help when I was in your office, so if you need it now, I do have time to spare,"Alyssa smiled at the Professor.

Sophie put down her leg again and closed her eyes when Professor Romanos swished her wand and changed the environment. As soon as her eyes got used to the natural light, she packed her stuff and threw her bag over her shoulder. "Thank you, Professor! Goodbye!" she waved at the witch as she left the room.

What is this-this light?! Am I blind? Ella covered her eyes for a second and then slowly let them adjust to the light in the room. You'd think I lived in a cave or something the way that hurt! She was excited to get out into the sunshine and headed happily for the door, a little sore but happy with the class. "Thanks Professor! That was a good lesson. I'll practice my poses for next class." She smiled up at the professor then headed out the door.

That...That was it. Class was over. After placing her foot firmly on the ground, Lily packed up her stuff and rolled up her mat to make it easier for the professor. Walking towards the entrance, Lily said, "Thank you professor. This lesson really cleared some things up for me." After nodding her head in farewell, Lily exited the classroom and headed back to her common room.

Laura looked at the Professor, seriously she had no plans to escape, if the Professor wanted to spend more time with a cute first year, surely Laura had no right to take that away from her, sitting down in a chair she looked at the Professor and smiled. "I'll sit here until you want me Professor." Laura smiled at least the lesson had finished and she didn't have to do yoga or whatever it was the Professor had got to rest to do.

What? No molding chakara to fight of evil mystics? Kurumi didn't want to admit it, but she was a little disappointed as the fantasy in her head had started playing out ever since the discussion about dark creatures had happened. Oh well.

Hearing that the lesson had been dismissed, Kurumi pulled herself back together in a normal standing position and twisted her back a little. Yoga, surprisingly it hadn't been as bad as she thought it would be. Perhaps her image of it was only bad because her grandmother had always made her mediate when in certain positions? Kurumi bent down and rolled up her mat as she heard a herd of students go up to the professor asking to help clean up. She certainly didn't need another lion asking the same thing, so she would just do what she could in her area.

Everything cleared and off to the side in her area, Kurumi walked up to Professor RAMANOS and offered her a polite bow. "Thank you for the lesson, professor," she said with a small smile. "I...was just wonder if there was a particular reason for us doing yoga in this setting today." Everyone was saying that it was making them calm, but Kurumi felt something a little different. "Perhaps...to improve concentration and creativity? Since today was a review and more discussion based lesson."

Taylor smiled and grabbed her bag. She went to walk out but instead stop by the professor for a few seconds, "THanks for the review lesson today and for the yoga poses." She smiled, "I'm looking forward to the next lesson. I hope you will have a good day professor."

Alex gave her muscles a final stretch and then allowed herself to relax. She picked up her backpack and headed toward the door. Before leaving, she made sure to seek out Professor Romanos. "Thank you Professor", she said. "I really enjoyed the lesson." Alex really meant it and she was wondering what the Professor might have planned for them next time.

And...

Okay.

Looking at all the students asking if she needed help, Medea's eyebrow raised momentarily before she broke into a grin. Well darn, if it wasn't so easy to clean up today, she would've had them help out. "I remember as vell, Miss Potter, although today I'm afraid there's no help needed." Looking at all four students, she gestured on over to the door. "Go and enjoy your day. I'll be fine."

Oh look, another tried cleaning up their area.

Not that it really mattered. With a wave of her wand, all the mats were banished into her office. Although, Miss Hollingberry did surprise her on her guesses about the reason she had the students do yoga today. Partly to keep them motivated to stay awake and partly...

"You are a sharp one, Miss Hollingberry." she laughed. "Do me a favor and keep that in mind for our next lesson, alright?"

And finally...Miss Hyde.

Medea was well aware the girl was only a first year, though her answers raised a few suspicions and concerns. Was the girl just messing with her? "Miss Hyde." she called over to the girl. "Can you stand up, please?"

Apparently she missed this mat and it didn't banish to her office.

Beezus shrugged. That was fine. Maybe she could practice the newest Transfiguration spell they were working on. "Thank you Professor." she said as she bowed a bit. "And for not giving us homework. Well..we appreciate it." Beezus chuckled a bit as she placed on the strap of her backpack. "See you Professor!" And with that, she walked out of the classroom.
