Salima took the Gillyweed from professor, forced it down her throat, ignoring the horrible taste, then jumped into the lake and followed the others in the lake.

Oh no.... Gillyweed!!! It didn't taste then why were half of the students going green... she stared at the blob of the thing it didn't feel nice anyways... She looked back up at the two proffesers there had to be some logical reason for this, this was not educational it was.. What was educational about wearing ugly swimsuits and then swallowing gillyweed... Sigh

LuLu stared at it again ''Hmmm...,'' then she quickly stuffed it in her mouth! OH... she did it the worst possible way, it wasn't that it didn't taste nice, it was the fact that the slimey thing was exploring her throat... The thought of it made her feel sick... UGH she then followed Proffeser Scabior to The Lake serious punishment...

The lesson was going by faster than Nessie expected. She had done as she was told and she had practised the Relashio charm. When it came to putting on her swimsuit she looked at the suits in disgust, but it wasn't like she had a choice and so she put on a swimsuit and gathered around the Professor like everyone else had.

GILLYWEED? They were going to EAT GILLYWEED! Ness's face lit up in excitement and also shock at the same time. She took a piece of Gillyweed and imidiately started to grimace. It didn't look very appetizing. She slowly lifted it up to her face, she closed her eyes and then put the gillyweed in her mouth swallowing it as quickly as she could.

She could already feel it changing her and everything started to get dizzy and fuzzy, which was why Nessie went off quickly with the rest of the class into the lake.

Lewis gave out a surprised yelp when all of a sudden Professor Scabior shouted at them. Eying Gwen for a moment and seeing that she hadn't changed into her swimsuit yet either, he muttered, "I guess we should get changed." Before this one throws us in without the swimsuit and the gillyweed.

With one last pointed glance at the screens, Lewis made a sort of half-wave at her and dashed off behind one of them to change. Ugh. Those were truely terrible. But he was glad that they'd brought some in the first place. Emerging from behind the screens now wearing his swimsuit, Lewis groaned inwardly when the professor clarified again that they were indeed going to go into the lake. Not that he was bad at swimming or anything. And he was usually pretty good with animals too but still...this lake was called the Black Lake for a reason.

Wincing again when now the other professor started shouting at them too, Lewis went to stare at him instead. What was it with those two? He took mental notes of what he explained about the gillyweed they had obtained from Professor Bentley. Right, they were going to be half-fish for an hour. Goddit. He had one last question, though, why did the professors get to wear wetsuits and they had just got swimsuits? That seemed quite unfair.

He uttered a "Thanks" when Professor Williamson handed him some of the gillyweed and held it up to his face to take a closer look. It looked...pretty gross. Quite slimy. Nothing he would eat under any other circumstances. But...maybe this whole thing was just a joke? A prank of sorts? Maybe the professors just wanted them to eat it so they could laugh at them when they grew skills. Maybe they weren't really going into the la-

Okay, the evil professor had just put it into his mouth too. And chewed it. And swallowed it. And had now turned to dive into the lake. Glancing around at the students around him one last time, Lewis took a deep breath and put the gillyweed into his mouth. It was...just as gross as it looked. He reached up to hold his nose so that his sense of taste was a little off, which, seeing how slimy and just generally disgusting this plant tasted could only be beneficial. Chew Chew Swallow. There, finally. Did they have chocolate or something? He really wanted to get rid of this taste still lingering in his mouth.

After casting the spell, Gwen twirled the wand in her hands and looked around at what everyone was doing. Huh, no one moved on, I guess…, she thought and then turned back to Lewis. ‘Is everything all right?’, the third year said and tried to keep a straight face, but couldn’t. Smirking, she kept twirling her wand.

Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t have done anything wrong!..., Gwendolyn thought and tried hard not to roll her eyes. You won’t end up in the Hospital Wind… , the third year thought, but didn’t say it out loud. Psh.

As soon as she could hear Lewis say the incantation, the Ravenclaw felt that she was pushed back quite hard. Weird feeling…, she told herself and hoped she would manage to keep her balance when the effect of the spell was over. So it worked perfectly fine… Do I really have to congratulate him?, Gwendolyn asked herself and glimpsed bac at Lewis. Nah…

‘Hmm?’, she mused and looked back at Lewis. ‘Oh yeah- the swimmsuits’, Gwendolyn mumbled. So we are going to swim in the lake? Swimming doesn’t sound back—but there are lots of creatures in the lake. Gross ones. Hmph, the girl thought while going to take that hideous swimsuit. At least everyone was going to wear it, so she wasn’t going to be the only one looking terrible.

And there’s more…, she told herself eyeing the gillyweed. Puah! It tastes absolutely horrible!!!, Gwen thought and wanted to get this over with. Suddenly, the swimsuits didn’t seem to be the biggest problem… Merlin- this class will never end!

Louisa took the gillyweed, that felt totally like greenish jelly in her hand, and looked down at it. The Messer boy was by her side now too. She gave him a nod of encouragement and listened up to the professors.

If she had a babystudent on her hands, the girl had to remove every skeptical hunch about ANYTHING Dash would hand them. Even if it was actually the daisy professor who distributed the... green jelly plant.

Swallowing, for about a hundred times, she closed her eyes shut and stuffed it into her mouth expecting bitter!horror to explode within her body. However, it wasn't THAT bad. She chew very little and swallowed as soon as possible. Quickly, she started to feel rapid fever-like wave invading her body, she fell to her knees afraid to fall with a loud thud.

Only a moment later, she started to feel her neck getting... changed. Without hesitation or another look at herself, she got up and hurried after the class.

Harvey took the Gillyweed and upon orders from Professor Scabior he digested the Gillyweed almost choking on it.. soon after he felt the effects and made his way to the lake with the others..

Laura looked at the Professor and then he said they were going down not for educational purposes but for another important reason, seriously what else would they go down for if it wasn't for war, surely the Professor didn't expect her to go down, looking at the other Professor she asked. "Professor if were down there for more than an hour what happens?" She had her gillyweed in her hand, she quickly took it and hoped that they wouldn't be gone for more than an hour.

Ella gave the gillyweed one last horrified look and stuffed it into her mouth. She fought the urge to gag and tried to chew. Something strange was taking place as she felt webbing begin to form between her fingers. Get a move on, El. She felt as though she was beginning to lose air and for one panic stricken moment she thought of calling for help but with a determined look, dove into the lake.

Hannah could not believe that they were actually going into the lake and at the very first class at that. She had to eat gillyweed...really? By the looks of her classmates faces when they ate and the general appearance of gillyweed in general made Hannah cringe. Ok just dont think about it she told herself. This is nothing. Mind over matter.

Hannah took the gilley and shoved in her mouth she chewed quickly in hopes that the taste would not linger. She couldn't even describe the taste gross seemed to sum it up quite perfectly. All of a sudden she had webbed feet and hands. Well it looks like it worked so she went and gathered where the students and professors were and waited until they would be instructed to go into the lake.

Justin took and chewed the gillyweed and swallowed it befor e throwing it back up. It was disgusting and was extremely sour. After a few moments Justin had a hard time breathing and noticed the changing appearance in his hands and feet.

Autumn just scowled "I'm Not wearing this. I cut it mainly because it was to big for me. and far far to long." Autumn went behind the oard and changed back into her robes.
She came out and sat on the grass got out her care of magical creatures book and started to read.

Williamson was about to jump into the lake, gillyweed in hand, hand halfway to his mouth, when he noticed the LAST student still sitting beside the lake.


"DETENTION!" he shouted angrily, stomping over to the girl who was blatantly disobeying their orders and just SITTING on the grass, still in her robes. "DETENTION! Not only you did disfigure your original swimsuit, but you also refused to wear the back-up suit Professor Scabior provided for you. That's a week's worth of detention and if you aren't waiting for me in the dungeons when I get out of the lake, it'll be 50 points from Ravenclaw!"


Huffing and puffing to himself, Williamson stomped away from the girl and into the lake, stuffing the gillyweed in his mouth and chewing it up as he walked.

Oakey plugged his nose and swallowed the Gillyweed. Plugging his nose didn't stop the disgusting taste from going down, he bent over put his hands on his knees and spat up a gum drop, two pieces of liquorish and 3 jawbreakers.

He looked at the candy, He thought that his candy throw up would have passed by now. At least it wasn't as painful and plentiful as the first 20 times he did it, just no one please eat the candy.

Then the changes began it was uncomfortable but quick. He looked at his now webbed hands and feet, them felt his neck for the set of gills on each side.

Autumn scowled but then though this may come to her advantage..... she needed a quiet place to study

Lily along with the multiple others were ready, gillyweed in hand. When the professor told them to, Lily ate the gillyweed. Eww, this stuff is worse than seaweed. Lily thought as her body started changing. Following the professors and many others, Lily dove into the lake to keep up with the rest of the group.

Zhenya was super excited about going into the lake! She took some Gillyweed from the Professor, thanking him, and thought the texture was a bit odd. She shrugged it off though, she was used to her grandparents serving her food with weird textures.
She shoved it all into her mouth and swallowed it. She held her nose just in case it tasted bad, but she couldn't taste anything. It was just the texture.

She then noticed a few things changing - her feet and hands became webbed, and she... was that... what was happening to her face? Her eyes widened as she groped around her neck - gills? She thought it would probably best to get into the lake NOW!

Vashti...really didn't want to eat the gillyweed. It was gross and icky and gross and Herbology-related and just...ew. But she couldn't - wouldn't - back out now. ESPECIALLY not when Ravenclaw was already losing points because one student had tried to make the swimsuits more fashionable or something. Vashti had never seen a student - especially not a firstie - talk back to the professors like that, and she went a little wide-eyed when Professor Williamson started shouting. If detention didn't help, Vashti might consider having a talk with the girl later, just to see what was going on.

But anyway, back to the gillyweed. Without a second thought, she stuffed it into her mouth when Professor Scabior told them to and started chewing immediately, trying not to think about how awful and slimy and...painful it suddenly was. Which meant the effects were already starting. Quickly following the professors and the rest of the students, she dove into the lake.

Oh. Arya was going down.

She had changed into the 'swimsuits' and stared at her gillyweed. Ugh. She hated the stuff. Shoving it down her throat like it was horrible tasting potion and swallowed. Her face distorted from both the taste and the immediate effects the plant was having on her body, and before she was completely part-fish, she dived into the lake after her professors.

Aurora swallowed the gillyweed quickly so that she couldn't turn back, then, as soon as she felt a tingling on her neck and an inability to breathe air properly, she jumped into the lake. Oh Merlin... this was going to be a loooooooong lesson...

Vlimia almost smiled at her own ability to earn points, the key word here being almost. She scowled and shook her head at Autumn's own ability to lose an outstanding number of house points and land herself in detention. Well Autumn Couture, you just lost yourself a friend. Or got yourself a very mad one, Vlimia wasn't sure yet.
Vlim choked down the Gillyweed as instructed, and nearly instantly felt gills grow and her fingers and toes getting webbed. But moreover, she couldn't breathe air well! Vlimia hopped into the lake frantically, and relaxed there.

Violet rapidly chewed on the gillyweed which felt horrible in her mouth and felt the effects immediately. A quick sting at the side of her neck told her it was taking affect. Then she jumped into the pool as fast as she can before choking for air.

Tayla tried to ignore the strange texture of the gillyweed in her hands. She took a nervous breath then stuffed the gillyweed into her mouth, forcing with all her might to swallow it.

"Ick!" she managed to say after the plant slid down her throat. Then in almost an instant, she felt something growing in her neck and between her toes and fingers. She turned towards the Black Lake and dived in.

Was she the only one who found this really fun? Yeah, the swimsuits were horrible, but everyone was wearing one, so no one looked better than the others. Plus, she'd never eaten gillyweed before, and was really curious what it'd be like to be half fish for an hour. On the other hand, she remembered her disgust of diving into the lake because of leeches, but as a Gryffindor (and also someone who sure didn't want to lose housepoints or get into detention), the girl had no option but to follow the rest of the class. Chewing on her disgusting gillyweed, she caught up with the others, and dived in just as she felt the transformation process had started.
