Its a perfect day for a class outside, and by the lake too! The warm september breeze swept the grounds at the south side of the castle. The location was popular for students who generally liked roaming around outside, but it was not a good place to take notes. Which was probably why Professor Scabior did not look at ease as he stood, holding a quiet conversation with Professor Williamson. The Care of Magical Creatures Professor looked quite fine though, turning away from the conversation to flash a smile at each new student that arrived.
"Just gather around here, and take a seat." Scabior said loudly, pointing to the general grassy area.
OOC: Class hasn't started yet, so feel free to join in! Just please, keep chatting to a minimum. Also, if you haven't already, please make sure to read the Care of Magical Creatures Rules AND the History of Magic Rules CLASS HAS STARTED! Do not post your character late. Doing so will result in loss of points. If you want to join just act as if your character was there the whole time!
Minerva's mouth dropped.. Swimming in the lake? Then she got a big smile knowing she was getting her wish to swim with the squid. Well hopefully he would swim with them. Then she saw the suite and twisted her face, really... She got up and changed. As she was coming back Justin stopped her. "Ummm.. Sure I can work with you, are we suppose to do it on each other? Won't it hurt? I don't want to do anything that will hurt you." she saw Harvey and wondered if the three of them could work together. She turned to Harvey, "Harvey do you want to practice with us?" Minerva wasn't sure about the spell so she turned looking at one of the trees and flicked her wrist "Relashio", she flicked her wrist with her wand again "Relashio" She looked at the professors "excuse me professors am I doing this right?"
Justin went over and joined Minerva as she said she would work with him and then heard her ask Harvey if he'd care to join them with this task. Harvey hesitently agreed and cme over to them. " Thanks , Min. Well, the professor did say it could be a bit uncomfortable , but we can take it. " he smiled and then gigled at her reaction to the bathing suits that had been provided. " That's why I brought my own suit to wear."

Taylor sighed silently and practiced the spell a few times. She already learnt the spell last year. After a couple times, she wen tover to the chaning room and changed. Taylor came out in the bathing suit and briaded her hair then made the braid into a bun, so that it woun't get in her way.
Salima looked back at Laura and said 'Be right back' then ran over towards the bag full of girls swimsuit, picked one out then walked over to the screens returning only about 15 minutes later wearing a old Victorian styled swimsuit. Salima felt really embarrassed wearing this 'why couldn't we just wear a swimsuit with shorts or even a T-shirt and shorts?' Salima thought to herself whilst walking back over to Laura.
'Well let's practice' she said dully.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

They were going in the lake! That was so cool!!!! Autumn had alreayd learnt the spell in her spare time.
She grabbed a suit and got behind the screen.... NO! Autumn was not... no.. NO! there disgusting.... wait autumn had a idea she had learnt the Spell Difindo, she held up the swimsuit and began to get to work she cut the shorts shorter and the top shorter not super short just so they covers her still! She undid the lace at the top slightly.. better but not very nice...at least it fit her.... she didnt really do anything wrong... and the teacher can take points she'd rather loose points than look terrible
Pam looked up at the girl who was tearing apart the swimsuits. "I know you're a first year," She said, after walking up to her. "But you shouldn't be doing that. Plus all the points you'd lose!" Sure it wasn't the greatest looking outfit, but it wasn't horrible. Plus, everyone was wearing it. So she wasnt' the only one. Everyone was wearing them.

Alyssa was glad when Oakey volunteered to be her partner, but she was afraid to hurt him, so she decided to let him practice on her first."Why don't you practice on me first, Oakey. Wh-what? Swimming?! No one had told her anything about having to swim till now. "Professor!" Selena's hand shot straight into the air, eyes wide. "What if some of us... don't... know... how... to... uhm... swim?" Selena asked. And are deathly afraid of DROWNING in the lake even with the bubble-head charm and all?! Because... y'know, Selena was kinda one of those people.
And Gillyweed? Selena didn't even want to try morphing into a fish. Fishes were weird. Some were even flushed down the toilet.

Everyone around her seemed to be practicing their Ralashio spell, so Violet decided to change into her swimsuit first. She looked at it in dismay as the professor brought them out to show, but of course, you can never expect too much fashion at school. She was here to learn. Violet quickly took the swimsuit and went behind to change quickly. It fit perfectly, and timidly walked out, scared that one of her classmates would laugh at her.
She shivered in the swimsuit while waiting for someone to practice the spell with her. Oh, how excited she was to be able to swim in the Black Lake!

Victoria’s jaw dropped. Swimsuits? They’re going to swim in the Blake Lake??
Oh well, Victoria doesn’t feel like changing right now, maybe later…
She looked around, trying to see if there’s anyone she can practice the spell first. Finally, she spotted a first year girl, trying to do the same thing. Victoria bravely walked over to the first year in swimsuit already. Geesh...isn't it cold in that? “Are you looking for someone to practice?” Victoria first asked, just in case.

Oakey had heard of "Ladies first" it was one of the first rules Harvey had taught him, but the other one was "Never hit a lady". He wasn't going to hurt Alyssa(first at least). No. was all he said back to her Let me take the hit first.
He didn't even give her a chance to argue back. He took her hand and braced for the incoming pain.

Violet turned around the see an older student come up to her. Already, she felt self conscious of the swimsuit that she was wearing, but she shook it off. Everyone was going to be wearing the swimsuit eventually.
Practice with her? It might be a good start to practice with someone with more experience so she said timidly "Yeah, I am. Can you practice with me please?"
Nessie stood around swinging side to side casually looking for someone to practice the charm with. She yawned and cupped her hand to her mouth. She plopped down onto the wet grass and waited. 'Well we're going to get wet anyway . . .'
Pam pulled out her wand, and practed the movement over and over. She didn't say the incantation, for she didn't really have anyone to practice with, nor did she want to get hurt by one of her fellow classmates. Once she was happy with her movments, she grabbed one of the swimsuits, and changed behind the screens. The whole time she was practicing saying the spell. Once she came back out, she had her arms crossed over her stomach, and a red tint to her cheeks. She didn't like this one bit, and prefered her black two-piece up in her trunk. But she understood the need for them, and didn't complain.
LuLu had no one not that she wanted to anyway she was glad it was that way and not hurting friends or firsties finding somone she didn't know was quite hard she then spotted a girl "Erm.. Can you be my partner please,"
Gwen really didn’t know what to think. What was so wrong in practicing that spell? Wasn’t it what we were supposed to be doing?! Is he even sane?, the Ravenclaw asked herself and then glimpsed back at the older student. His facial expression was simply priceless, and Gwendolyn couldn’t help laughing. *ehem-hem* ‘I’m sorry’, she said and tried to keep a straight face. Pfuachhh.
Noticing that he was pushed back, Gwen started smirking. YES! I did it! I actually did it!, the Ravie felt the need to congratulate herself. ‘Thanks’, she replied curtly. I did it from my first try… , she thought proudly, but suddenly frowned. Wait-It isn’t the first time I tried to cast that spell!, the third year realized. But that doesn’t count. I did good, anyway.
‘Nice to meet you’, Gwen mumbled. Meh, not really… But it was a thing she usually said without actually meaning it. Blaaah. It doesn’t even matter. ‘Err.. all right’, the Ravenclaw nodded and waited for Lewis to cast the spell.
Was she...was she LAUGHING?! And the worst part wasn't even that she was probably laughing at him - and for kind of a good reason too - but that she was laughing when she was supposed to be focusing on a spell she was going to cast on his arm. She was supposed to be focusing on that so that she would like curse off his arm or something. This was DANGEROUS stuff!
Before he even got to point any of that out though, she had already said the incantation so all he could do was close his eyes and hope for the best. And it turned out to be. Well, if you counted a weirdly tingling hand as 'the best possible outcome'. Which right now Lewis did. He was happy he was still alive. And was still in possession of all of his limbs and body parts.
Lewis raised her eyebrows at her a little. It was clearly NOT nice to meet him. Especially not under these circumstances. And the fact that he had just made a complete fool of himself. "Yeah, same." He muttered vaguely, not even looking at her but instead reaching for his wand. Okay, he could do this too. "Relashio!" Lewis said forcefully while performing a sharp jab with his wand.

He repeated in his head. Then he saw that he accidentally tore Louisa's robe. "I'm sorry again." Accident happen, right?
He closed his eyes when Louisa pointed her wand at him. And suddenly he was thrown to the ground. Auch! That hurt. Well, at least his suit was still in one piece
Sorrys. They were nothing, she shrugged them off with her hand after she'd sent the boy to fall on his butt. "Nah, it's nothing. I know how to get it fixed with a couple of spells." Fifth year over here, hello.
Without attempting to help the ickle boy to his feet, she said, "If you felt that it was too powerful, I don't think it's the perfect spell." Looking at him for a second, she lowered her hand, "Okay, now you try, and remember it's Relashio with a jab." Yep, she was sacrificing herself to teach a firstie how to get rid of a lake demon.

Alyssa cringed when she heard Oakey tell her that he would take the hit first. So she decided that she would do the jinx fast and quick and then quickly use another spell to heal the injury. "Okay, here goes. RELASHIO" Alyssa said taking her wand and jabbing it in the direction of his hand.The moment the Revulsion jinx hit his hand, she quickly used her wand and said "EPISKEY" hoping that the healing spell would help remove the pain of the jinx immediately.

Salima turned back and walked back up to the first year 'No. Don't worry I'm the one who should be saying sorry. Changing the subject... I'm Salima... So do you want to try out the spell first or shall I?' By Salima saying this she hoped she did not offend the girl again.
Laura looked at Salima and smiled. "Well you can go first, that way I can see how to do the spell, I ain't very good at magic at the moment, I wish I was but I'm not."
Minerva smiled as her FRIENDS came over. "Well Harvey here is your chance to use a spell on me." she winked at him. "So who wants to try first?" she was a little nervous to try on them so she thought they could do it to her first if they wanted.
She thought about going to ask if one of them would practice the spell with her. She decided not to and looked around for someone else not practicing.
