Arabella-Marie was thinking as she entered the classroom a double lesson this will be fun and said "Good day professor" Arabella-Marie took a seat near the front of the class

Justin walked to class excited to start his studies. As he came upon the professor he reached into his bag and pulled out an apple. " Good day , Professor Scabior. " he said as he handed him the apple and quickly found a seat next to Minnie.

William was very, very excited for today's class and was doing everything he could to not start doing cartwheels or something to release his pent-up energy. Then again, perhaps it was better that he was restraining himself and looking all professor-y and adultish next to Dash. One of them had to be, after all, and since the other one was the type to burp pink bubbles.... all the responsibility came down on his handsome, broad shoulders.

Luckily he was just awesome enough to handle it. Heh. Smiling and murmuring polite, "Hellos," back at all the students that arrived, Will abruptly broke off his conversation with Scabbers Dash to take note of one of his the Slytherins.

Oh oh wow, they were being greeted by another eager beaver, not at all afraid to bounce up to them and start passing out flowers. Herbologists were so weird.

They'd just give a few more minutes for the last stragglers to show.

Hannah didn't really care much about the joint lesson part. To her it meant one less class to have to go to. Like killing two birds with one stone. She walked down to the lake and looked at the professors. "Hello professors." That was enough she wasn't a chatty cathy and besides this was not the place to be one if she was. She looked around and did not see anybody that she recognized she sat down at an empty area and waited for further instruction.

This should be an interesting lesson.. two classes combined with two handsome Professors. Smiling quite brightly at both of them, Kimalia greeted them both. "Good day Professor Scabior and Professor Williamson."

Amelia was rather excited as she stepped towards the area where the joint lesson would be held. Care of Magical Creatures was her favourite class, and she also liked History of Magic even if she wasn't always the best at it.

"Hello, professors!" she said to the teachers before finding a spot and sitting down. She was excited to start.

The other one was very familiar while the other one was a new one. The new one seemed to be un-tamed but he did looked...cute.

"Good day Professor Scabior and Professor Williamson," Erin greeted the two with a smile. ComC and History of Magic, they're like water and oil, shouldn't be mix. ComC was an interesting and fun subject whereas, History of Magic, anyways, it all depended on the professors right?

If anyone could make a lesson that Ellie was unsure about attending fun, it'd be Laci. That was why the redhead went over to her fire-headed friend when she arrived.

"Hey," she said, taking a seat.

By the way, Scabior, Care of Magical Creatures was why she was here, not YOUR class.

Angelina walked up to the class with a smile on her face. She hasn't really had CoMC class before, but she was pretty excited! "Hello Professor Scabior and Professor Williamson." Angelina began to wonder how CoMC and HoM would work out together..

Amethyst skipped on her way to the small group that gathered. She smiled as she was the professors. "Hello, Professors!" She giggled softly as she waved to them both. She noticed her friends and sat down next to to them. She waved them all down.

Victoria has been to several joint classes in Hogwarts. But none of them were such an unusual pair as History of Magic and Care of Magical Creatures. What they be possibly learning in this class? Kept echoing in and out of Victoria's curious mind. When they say 'curiosity killed the cat', well curiosity is definitely going to kill Victoria if the class doesn't start soon.

Oh yes. The usual greetings. "Good morning professors." Victoria greeted the two professors - one familiar History of Magic professor, one not so familiar.

Wist eagerly strolled towards the lesson by the lake. She was pleased to see that the sun was shining, that would go perfect for her plans later.

Two professors were there, she saw. "Hi!" she greeted them and she sat down.

Autumn saw Wist, she shuffled over "Hello." she smiled

Sammy walked outside to the Care of Magical Creatures lesson. He knew it was a history of magic one too, but he didn't like history so he wasn't going to think about it. Nope. He was gonna think about all of the awesome magical animals he was going to get to see. Hopefully.

Once there, he smiled up at both of the older men. "Morning, sirs." He went and took a seat near the front. He was in a good mood today. Must be the sugar plus being outdoors.

Eliza walked to the patch of grass the rest of the student seemed to be seated on. Hmm? Was she going to sit on the grass. If only she'd learnt to conjure a chair. She sat down, the other students all seemed to be greeting the Professors, why would she do that; she didn't even know them. Eliza had only been to the lake once, and she would admit it looked very nice in the warm September sunshine. A joint class? She wondered how this was going to turn out.

Dash gave an appropriate head nod to all the students that had greeted him and even let out a few hellos here and there. Having a joint class with William Williamson of all people meant it was bound to be interesting. Or go horribly wrong, either way, his part of the lesson would be perfect.

Scabior was pretty sure that educating the students of Hogwarts was in his job description. Otherwise he was just getting paid to live in a giant castle and do nothing.And WHAT in the world was he going to do with a flower. "...Thank you Miss Neil." He took the daisy and stared at it for a second before shoving it into William's chest. He liked flowers, right?

Scabior cleared his throat loudly, a sign for any little conversations going on to stop. Class had started, and he wasn't going to tolerate students talking over him. "Good morning class. For any of your new students, I am Professor Scabior and this-" He pointed to the overgrown kid by his side."Is the new Care of Magical Creatures Professor, Professor Williamson." Did that clear things up? Yup. Introductions were good. "As you can tell, today's joint History of Magic, and Care of Magical Creatures lesson is outside." He held out his arms, as he stated the obvious.

Hopefully they knew this.

Because if they didn't, Scabior wanted them out of his class as fast as possible.

"Does anyone have any idea, why this is?" Any guesses? What did they think?

Why was a Care of Magical Creatures lesson outside?

Really, Scabior? Ellie raised an eyebrow. "Care of Magical Creatures is usually outside. We're probably working with a creature." Seemed....obvious.

Like the Kinglsey/Lawson lesson. Although, they didn't really work with creatures then, they became creatures. But it was more or less the same thing.

"Uh, we're going to study magical creatures from history?" Sky guessed. After all, it was a combination class. Really, she had no clue why. She just knew that it seemed like an odd choice…

Arabella-Marie thought and raised her hand and said "Well maybe it is to learn more about creatures through history" Arabella-Marie was guessing but she thought it was a good answer

Well it was obvious why the magical creature was outside but autumn did not want to seem rude she ut up her hand and waited until the fellow pupils had finished "Excuse me professor are we outside because some magical creatures can not be brought inside, and we will be studying some creatures that enrol a part in magical history?" This was a educated geuss, she knew there was some, Autumn did more reading than normal people.

Hannah thought that maybe this was a trick question because obviously they were outside and wouldn't the obvious reason for being outside was because they were having a joint lesson the care of magical creatures? Surely the creatures they would be shown would be better suited outside. Still this seemed like a silly answer. Hannah may be a lot of things, but a slacker was not one of them. So she raised her hand and said "Professor I think the lesson is outside because that is a more appropriate place to learn about animals. Getting to see them in their natural habitat. To have more room to work with the animals. Also maybe some of the animals would not do well inside." Well she wasn't sure what else the professor was asking about unless he meant why the two certain professors were working together and in that case how in the merlin was she supposed to know that?

Jordan raised his hand, "Erm... Professor are we learning about magical creatures and how they have evolved over time?" he asked, "And we obviously cannot take certain magical creatures into the school so..." he trailed off, hoping this was at least close to the actual answer.

Why was the History of Magic/Care of Magical Creatures lesson held outside? Because the two professors wanted it to be outside probably. That likely wasn't the answer they were looking for though, so Vashti raised her hand and offered a different answer. "I'd guess because the creature - or creatures - that we will be studying the history of-" that was what they would be doing, right? How else did you connect these two classes together? (And how else was she going to be able to get through this lesson if they didn't study some kind of history?) "-will be present for the lesson, and they might not fit inside a classroom, or they are best studied when outside in their natural habitat."

Melanie bit her lip before venturing a nervous guess. "Perhaps we're going to be working with a creature for the Care of Magical Creatures part, and talking about the history of...er...something out here for History of Magic?"

Melanie looked around, wondering what aspect of the grounds would possibly be relevant to History of Magic. She was certainly looking forward to working with some kind of magical creature though, if that was in fact what they were doing. The most exotic animals she'd ever seen were in a muggle zoo, so she was excited to see what kinds of animals existed in the wizarding world. Melanie loved animals and had a bit of a bleeding heart for them; her own cat was even a stray picked up from the humane society.
