As soon as she had dived down into the water, Vashti felt a little bit better despite the coldness, like she could finally breathe again - which made sense, considering she had gills now apparently. She reached up to her neck to touch them but paused when she noticed how her hands were now webbed. Weird.

Once she had looked away from her strange new hands, she noticed the professors and the students just a little ways away. She swam over to them easily and quickly, not wanting to get separated or left behind or anything horrid like that. She did notice the creature watching them from a distance away but didn't say anything. So long as she stayed with the professors and her classmates, the creature probably wouldn't attack, she figured. They outnumbered it after all.

O-oh no.. w.. what was that?? THAT thing she would of scremed but she couldn't it had gotten closer.. She looked strucken she much prefered have no idea what it was then dream about it or somthing... LuLu swam deeper tipping a few students with the ends of her toes slightly.. Atleast she was more focused on her destination than about her swim wear eh?

It was horrible. Much worse than she had imagined in her head. The little creature just watching them with its long fingers and pointed teeth. It looked menacing and Ella was scared. She gripped her wand tightly and tried to remember what she was supposed to do in case this little guy decided to attack. She noticed some boys swimming close by and for whatever reason, decided it would be best to move closer to them. At least then we can work as a team.

Logan looked at the Gillyweed and squeezed his eyes shut tightly. He put it in his mouth quickly and swallowed hard. YUCK! This better be worth it! He coughed a bit and shuddred, and then dove into the water. WOW that was cold! He breathed in, and almost panicked when he noticed he could breathe. WHOA! Wicked! This was so worth it!
WHAT WAS THAT? Logan's eyes widened a little, but he ignored the-the-whatever it was and stayed with the group.

Aurora had no idea why she was letting herself get into the lake, but she was. She had swallowed the gillyweed and was currently torn between fascination at the effects it was having and absolute terror and being so deep in the lake. She turned around quickly as she caught sight of something out of the corner of her eye and pointed her wand at it... but she'd never have been able to hit it so she didn't even bother trying. Gahh, this was creepy! Her red hair was floating behind her, having come almost entirely free from her ribbon, she kept at least one eye on the professors, unsure what on earth they were really doing down here... it was really... scary.

The red haired girl turned, she could have sworn she saw something swim past. Then she spotted it, a little water creature that looked like a demon. Was this a grindylow? She wanted to swim closer but knew it was to risky. She took her wand out of it's holster- just in case. It was a little difficult holding her wand with webbed fingers but it made her feel a little safer.

Vlimia had dived into the lake quite some time ago, and was swimming happily, following the Professors. Well, the Proffesor that was leading, not the one in the back. At this point she felt almost glad that the swimsuits were so... classic, because they covered the ugly gills that had sprouted where her ribs were. Being half-fish was fun, but kind of gross.

Vlimia turned around and saw a Grindylow. Instantly she knew it was a Grindylow - they had been talking about these water demons all lesson, and it looked like the picture she had seen. It didn't look like it was preparing to attack, but Vlim pulled out her wand anyway. One could never be too safe. Her mind was racing, thinking of the worst scenarios like she always did; the Grindylow summons others and they kill everybody, the Grindylow becomes huge and eats the whole class with one gulp, it drags them down to it's village and roasts them on an underwater spit, etc. All of the situations involved the whole class being killed.
Vlim watched the Grindylow cautiously, and then... IT WAVED AT HER! A Grindylow waving at her explored new realms of creepy. The first creepy realm was probably that it could wave better than her at this point, and could therefore throw better, grab better, get it's nails painted better... and that just wasn't fair. She uttered "Relashio." And sent a stream of boiling water the Grindylow's way. It probably didn't reach, but the spell hopefully sent a message: Stay Away.

Selena didn't like the water. As a matter of fact, after eating the gillyweed, Selena had proceeded in flailing in the water trying her best not to scream. Please don't drown, please don't dr- whaaaa? She was breathing... underwater! Still, Selena's arms flailed at her lack of experience with swimming. How did one swim properly?! She was under water and all but it was definitely hard to stay where she was. Did she flap her legs back and forth like a duck? Or did she proceed to act like a doggie and waved her hands and legs to and fro, trying to stay in the water. WHY WAS IT SO HARD?!

creepy... thingy. It was definitely not pretty and it definitely looked scary causing Selena to flail her arms even more. Scary thingy! Right there! It was going to eat them all. She was dead! Ahhhhhhh. Wand. Right, her wand was still in her hand, she'd be safe, right? Her grip on the wand tightened as she continued to flail. What Selena wanted right now was to go back up, surface and CHILL. In the sun. Where there was land. And not water. And... no demon creatures!

She tired not to giggle at how the girl was swimming,"Your legs are for kicking forward and your arms are for moving them back to go forward." She said with a giggle.

Well..It most certainly was feeling a bit more chilly than when she had dived. Like there was some sort of something that was making the waters even more colder.

Beezus looked around but saw nothing but algae covered ruins and other sea plants. She clutched her wand tightly as she swam nearer to the two Professors.

Scabior waited patiently, kicking his legs to try to keep him in place as he waited for the rest of the class to get closer. Out of the corner of his eye in the dark waters he noticed horned drawing nearer.


A Grindylow.

He was sure they weren't suppose to come out THAT fast. Quickly he waved his hands at the students motioning to follow him. Without looking back Scabior began to swim deeper into the lake, hoping that the students would follow.

Because if they didn't....he was sure Tate wouldn't mind if one or two of them were eaten.

OOC: Having a full on conversation under the lake is not something your charrie is capable of doing, even with the Gillyweed. Please keep this in mind. Sending one spell would be hard enough, never mind a full sentence.

When everyone else was busy hoping not to drown and scream at the sight of whatever creature was down there, Hades kept thinking whether they will be able to throw out the gillyweed after this all finished. He wouldn't want a plant looking like rat tails curled up into a ball and went into his digestive system. Imagine that in your body... Uggh!

Hades' attention on observing the surrounding was distracted when he felt like something just swam by behind him. He turned around, wand pointed in front of him. That was when he saw a creepy little thing having tentacles. Oh, he knew what it was. He had close contact with it's kind before. This would be fun indeed. As he saw the History professor gesturing his hand, the boy immediately swam towards him.

Taylor saw the grindylow and was about to screech but remembered that she was underwater. She saw her teacher swimming away and quickly followed him.

See, William had just KNOWN they were going to come out and trail after his class. He had KNOWN, and now, look, one was ogling them all already.

He tried to call the students' attention to it, intending for them just to observe the creature since it wasn't attacking and they were too far away to do anything about it anyway. But then a GIRL had to go and CAST at it, which was surely going to antagonize the creature.

"NOOOOO!" he gurgled, a huge steam of unintelligible bubbles coming out of his mouth. Williamson waved his hands around and swam toward her, snatching her wand out of her hand. You do not attack unless you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO!

Well that's what he would have said, had he been able to talk anyway. He handed the girl her wand back with a stern glare and then shooed her on, clearly signalling for her to follow Scabior. Willy would trail the class with his wand out, now, on the lookout for any more grindylows.

Minerva followed Professor Scabiors deeper in the water. She wanted as far away from that creature as she could. Hoping it would not get close to her she went deeper in the water.

Zhenya followed Professor Scabior as he delved deeper into the lake. She would have started to get a little more frightened but there were two Professors here with them all. It wasn't just her... it wasn't just her... she was reassuring herself. It looked really magnificent, from what she could see. It wasn't all water and sludge like the only other lake she had been in.

nicki was in the lake she was a little scared but she followed the professor anyway she was exicted to be in the lake

Ella followed Professor Scabior when he motioned the class forward. She was eager to swim away from the grindylow as soon as possible, especially if that girl had made it angry!

Sky followed the rest of the class deeper into the lake, keeping an eye on the grindylow. What, she wasn't going to let herself get attacked! The thing was creepy looking and now, she wasn't so sure coming to this lesson had been such a good idea. What if she couldn't work the Relashio spell in time? She shivered just thinking about it…

She swam up to teh professers and the class and looked around.

Sierra had been minding her own business and just swimming along, when somewhere far off, she spotted a figure making its way toward them. She froze and eyed the figure, trying to figure out one--what it was, and two--what she should do about it.

Then the figure came into view, and Sierra's eyes grew wide--a GRINDYLOW! MERLIN! It did some sort of odd gesture toward, maybe a wave, but she didn't do anything in return. Right. This was one of those 'TRUST NO ONE' type situations.

That was when Sierra felt this presence behind her, and at first she whirled around, thinking maybe the grindylow had brought along his girlfriend or something. But no. It was just Alex, her wimpy, twin half-brother. Oh, the things she would say to him right now if she could. The water was sort of getting in the way, though.

Then she did her best 'I'm underwater and can't exactly laugh, but this is my best attempt' laugh. She shook her head, but oddly enough, she didn't do anything mean or hateful. She hadn't seen Alex in a long time, and seeing him now made her sort of miss him.

She motioned for him to swim along with her. Everything seemed to be calmed down again for now. At least, she didn't see any grindylows...

Now that the effects of the slimy plant had settled in, and the prefect was under water, she was trilled. She forgot how much fun it was to be part-fish! Hehe.

The young woman of course kept close to the class as she stretched her gills and other fishy parts, completely not bothered by the creatures watching them, they just got waves from her.

Clearly, this wasn't her first swim in the lake.

When the professor's swam deeper however, she did focus on following them to wherever they were being lead to, keeping on the outskirts of the group of students.

Beezus swallowed uncontrollably at the sight of the horned demon. She saw how Professor Williamson took the wand from another Ravenclaw. Why..why were they too keen on trying things? The Grindylow wasn't bothering them..Well..not yet at least.

But the girl didn't have to aim that wand at it. She sighed, a few bubbles coming out from her mouth.

Their target location was still unknown. Only the Professors knew where they were actually going and so she won't get lost or anything, she followed immediately as Professor Scabior motioned them to follow.

Violet followed the professor in the lake fascinated by the underwater scene before her. She looked at her hands and feet which were webbed like the professors said. She also saw a grindylow out of the corner of her eye which shocked her. They didn't look at all like what she had imagined. Violet had decided to cover that page so that she wouldn't get nightmares at night. Now Violet needed to cover her eyes for a brief moment and followed the crowd slowly, her wand at the ready.

Quentin swam along on the outskirts of the group, if something bad happened she would rather take damage than watch some younger less experienced student get hurt. Not that anything bad would happen with two professors with them, one now swimming at the back and one leading them. Where are we going? she wondered to herself, she would have asked but it was a little hard trying to talk with your mouth full of water.

She would just have to wait and see like everyone else.
