Sophie had gotten really excited when she heard they were going to play Capture the Flag. She really loved that game when she played it with her muggle friends, she was sure she would LOVE it now that she was to play it with magic! She grabbed her wand, twisted it and tapped it on her hand. "Prehenso!" Weeeeird feeling! She was readyy! |

Ravenclaw have recovered the Gryffindor flag Hufflepuff have made off with the Ravenclaw flag Gryffindor have grabbed the Hufflepuff flag. Feel free to keep playing and capturing each other etc but the flags won't move until this account is online again! Remember that this account has to quote you to be captured! |
Adam wasn't the best person when it came to running, but again that involved having fun an not being stuck in a class for an hour. He came to the place where the Professor was waiting. Now he had to put a charm on his hand in order to have a chance to gain at attempting to capture the flag, or he felt like he'd rather guard a place. He took his wand out of his holster an twisted his wand an tapped it onto his hand. "Prehenso!" There, that should do the trick. |
Tayla took her wand out and with a twist and tap said, "Prehenso!". She felt the tingling sensation in her hand. "Right! Now to play..." she thought and ran off, not yet sure exactly where she was going. |
Arabella-Marie took out her wand and practiced the twist and tap and said "Prehenso" and felt a tingling in her hand and thought now time to play and headed off to where ever the flags were |
OOC: Flags! Update! Gryffindor has a Hufflepuff Ravenclaw aren't letting anyone near their hard earned red flag and have several captives... but they haven't rescued any of their housemates trapped in the Slytherin and Gryffindor territories. Hufflepuff are on the run with a blue flag The Slytherins? They're just hanging out in the Topiary, with a giraffe, and a flag, and a whole lot of captives. |
Keefer sat down, a bit unsure of how this activity would go. He rechecked that his trainers were tied up well. Shoes, check. Now for the charm. He took out his wand and pointed it at his right hand. Wait, I use my right hand. I'm gonna accidentally get my hand stuck on something and have to constantly perform the counterspell. Better charm my left hand. He switched his wand to the other hand, twisted, tapped, and said "Prehenso!" Charm, check. Now to go play defense! Because that was the best part. |
OOC: Just a quick reminder not to clone for the game :) its all happening at once so your character can only be in one place at a time. Althea watched students whizzing by, sometimes with flags and sometimes on a mad dash to freedom. Well they looked like they were enjoying the chaos and getting some practise in with their charms work. |

Glenn stood in the safe zone, a little confused about the game play. She went over and over the instructions again in her head until she knew them by heart okay, she was ready to win with the badgers. She pointed her wand at her hand and twisted and tapped, "Prehenso!" Urgh, that was a weird feeling. She took off for the Whomping Willow; Hufflepuff territory. |
Elise looked around her carefully, everyone in a frenzy around her. Reading the instructions once over, she nodded before pulling out her wand. "Prehenso," she murmured. Twist and tap. Her right hand tingling, she ran off to help her housemates. |

SPOILER!!: Old update OCC update: The FLAGS are taking a break! In a team effort Slytherin and Gryffindor have nabbed the blue flag from Hufflepuff. It is now in Gryffindor possession. Gryffindors possess also their own red flag which is still en route. Slytherin have the green. Ravenclaw have made a move and nabbed the yellow flag! 2 flags are now en route (red & blue) and the 2 other flags are safe in their territories. The flags are now taking a break! The game will resume in a few hours. |
It was almost time for Althea to call the students back, but she thought she'd give them a little bit more time. It certainly had been a chaotic game from what she'd seen, but that was all to the good. The students needed to let off steam after all. She settled again on the bench and crossed her legs primly while she waited, enjoying the cool, crisp air. |
"Ain't it a glorious day Peevesy is out to play! I feel like I could flyyyy." The sing-song voice of the one and only Peeves the Poltergeist could be heard echoing as he swoooooped out a window and headed for the grounds. Sotto voce, he addressed himself. "Now Peevesy none of your larking about!" His voice was muffled as he floated through a wall, then he reappeared again dressed in a red, orange and white striped blazer, a blue bow tie and white gloves, and of course a marvellous matching straw boater hat. He was dashing, he was. "Its a jolly holiday for Peevesy! Peevesy makes you scream in fright!" The ethereal and incorrigible Peeves floated outside and, spotting a blonde lady sitting there doing nothing, he just thought he would do his poltergeistly duties and spice things up a bit. "'e 'asn't changed a bit 'as 'e?" He cackled and swooped in close, then off, off to see what all those children were doing. |

Peeves the poltergeist can-canned past, waving all four colored flags, trumpeting a classic can-can tune with his mouth. Then he disappeared back to the castle, the flags all still in his possession. PEEEEEEVES WINS! PEEVES WINS! |

Jezzabelle walked up just in time to hear a Hufflepuff yelling about peeves having all the flags. She groaned and just shook her head. "So what are we going to do Professor Schirmer? Take the game and stretch it all through out the castle?" She prayed not. She didn't really want to chase Peeves down. |
"I can't believe Peeves took our flags!" Tayla said. "Okay...I can believe it somewhat. But still! It's surprising he was even out here. What do we do now?" A sudden thought crossing her mind, she added, "Capture the Flags, four houses against Peeves...?" |
SPOILER!!: PEEVES!!!! He had MORE flags? Ughhh A normal game of capture the flag and then.. Peeves shows up!!! Ugh she stared at him flying away absent minded! But what could they do, they didn't loose... And no one won so.. All was good SPOILER!!: Proffeser ''Emmm P-r....,'' Oh Merlin, she, she fell? She stood there.. It obviously meant she didn't send out Peeves and she possibly couldn't do anything about him ''N-nothing.. But umm, I-is the game.. over?,'' she asked conffusion swirling around inside her... It was such an odd way to end a game! |
Alyssa arrived to see Peeves disappear with all the flags. Was she supposed to give chase. She knew that no charm would bring him down because it would just go through him. She thought of asking a Slytherin to get the Bloody Baron to make him give back the flags but by the time, someone did that, Peeves would have taken the flags and thrown it all over the grounds where no one would be able to find them again. So Alyssa walked up to the Professor. "I'm sorry to see that Peeves did it again and get the better of all of us. Do we get to play the game again once we've spotted where the flags are?"Alyssa asked the Professor. She was ready for another challenge, having missed out on some of it because she had been serving detention. |
