Charms 2
 

Christmas break was over and it was time to bring in the new year with some good old fashioned hard work. There was nothing out of the ordinary with the set up of the desks today, the classroom had the windows shut against the chill outside, but light streamed in and it was quite pleasant and bright.

Professor Schirmer sat perched on her desk with her legs folded.... smiling to herself.

She waved her hand and the door opened, ready for the early arrivals to come in and find a seat.


ooc: Class won't start for about an hour, but feel free to post arriving :) In Character date/time for lesson is 2pm, Tuesday January 12th, 2077.

Nate walked into the charms classroom. Oh charms he wondered what he'd be learning today. He found a seat and said "Good day professor." Nate then started to look around and he saw he wqas the first one to arrive.

Good day professor Oakey said entering the class.

Over break he had gotten another new good luck charm for Christmas. It was currently sleeping up in the Hufflepuff boys dorm. He could not wait for this class to finish so he could go play with him.

He set his things on one of the desks in the front row.

Minerva walked into Charms. She loved this class so a big smile was on her face. "Hello Professor did you have a good break?" Minerva found her seat and pulled her parchment and quill out.

Did she late? DID she late?

Raven ran to the charms classroom quickly. Running from the dungeons to the third floor was not a good idea. She arrived at the class but she felt exhausted. She looked at the classroom...

EH? :whaa:

There were a few people in the class including the Professor. So? She was not late? fiuh....

"Good day Professor Schirmer." she greeted politely while she still managed her breathe.

Alyssa walked into the Charms classroom glad that it hadn't started yet. She noticed Professor Schirmer sitting relaxed in her chair. Quickly walking up to her she greeted her, "Hello Professor Schirmer. I'm glad to be here for another Charms lesson."Alyssa smiled at her before looking around to find a seat.

She noticed Taylor and so walked up to her and asked,"Hi there. Mind if I sit next to you?"

Entering the classroom with her textbook hugged tightly to her chest, Kurumi made her way slowly towards the front. The soft light and Professor Schirmer's pleasant appearance should have brought a smile to the young Gryffindor's face, but her mood was still dark after receiving a letter from home that morning with updates. All she really wanted to do right now was curl up in fetal position in her bed and sleep.

"Good day, professor," Kurumi said with a forced cheerfulness as she took her usual seat in the front and opened her textbook to a random page, skimming its contents but not retaining anything her eyes glazed over.

Justin entered the charms class and greeted the professor as usual. " good day, Professor Schirmer. good to see you again. " As he passed her desk he placed a small sack of chocolate chip cookies on her desk then quickly found a seat.

Taylor looked up when someone asked if they could sit next to her. She realized that it was Alyssa, "Oh of course not, Alyssa. Go right a head." Tay smiled at the girl.

Next class, Charms!

Messer was running all the way from his common room to the Charm classroom. He hoped he wasn't late. The young badger tried to catch his breath before he entered the classroom. "Hello Professor. How are you today?" he greeted the Professor with a polite nod before he went to find himself a seat.

Sophie skipped into the classroom. She loved Charms! It was definitely one of her favorite subjects. "Good day, Professor Schirmer!" She smiled as she walked up to where Messer was. "Hey, Messer! Long time no see!" She said happily taking a seat next to him.

"Cool thanks, Taylor."Alyssa smiled her thanks, taking a seat and pulling out her journal and quill before sitting back and waiting for class to start.

"Hello professor." Jen said as she sat in her desk.
Lets see, will I loose points or gain any?

"Hi, Professor,'' Jory said as he entered the classroom. "Good afternoon.'' Jory was surprised to see that not many students had arrived as yet.

The Huffie headed off to get himself a seat.

Vickers turned towards the Charms classroom and spotted the Professor as soon as he crossed the threshold "Good afternoon Professor Schirmer" the boy greeted her with a polite nod of his head, then made his way towards a seat near the windows.

Kennedy made his way to Charms sort of dragging his feet. His mind has been foggy ever after the letter he got before Christmas break. It had taken an even bigger toll on him keeping that a secret from his mom. He shook his head, and entered the classroom. There was no use in thinking about that right now.

He stifled a yawn and walked toward the front desks as always. Now, the lack of sleep was due because of the new kitten his mom gave him for Christmas. That little guy spent most of the night playing with his hair as if it was yarn.

"Good day, Professor Schirmer," he grinned, setting his bag on the table top and sitting down.

Now that break was over and classes were starting again Amelia was feeling much better. Having been able to actually spend time relaxing and having fun she was refreshed and even looking forward to studying again. Something she didn't think she'd actually do. It also didn't hurt that this class was charms and she rather enjoyed it.

"Good morning Professor Schirmer, I hope you had a good holidays," Amelia chirped as she made her way past the professor to an available desk. Once there she sat down and got out everything she'd need for class before turning her attention back to the professor, ready to start once everyone had arrived in the classroom.

Zhenya walked into the Charms class, and walked up to the Professor and said "Hello Professor, I hope you had a great holiday!" before scanning the class and spotting Raven. She walked over to her and sat next to her.
