Logan watched as she took out a book and flipped through it. He began rocking on his heels. "Whatcha reading there, Taylor?" he asked.

It was almost like Jezz could sniff this place out. It reeked of books, books and knowledge unlearned. She walked in and the first thing she did was check to see if Gustav had managed to follow. The second thing she did was make her way to the bookshelves. They were all piled high with books. Books she had never read, and some she may never read. She stop and stared at the covers of them. Faded and hard to read, sigh.

Gustav followed after Jezz as he admired the view of the library. He never had seen this many books before in his life. It was quite a sight indeed. He took a closer look at the books, most of them dusty and smelled funny. If his grandmother was here, she wouldn't dare touch most of them,feared it might be contaminated with 'creepy crawlies' and 'paraziţi' which she like to call it...he mused.
"What kinds of books are they?"he whispered." They look very ancient..."

Jezz picked up a book and opened it, "History books." She sighed. They probably didn't have a romance section. They were all educational books and she wasn't a Ravenclaw. So, while they held a small bit of appeal for her she doubted that she'd read these with much enthusiasm.

She nudged the book back into placed and held her hand up for the book three shelves higher. It came down and landed in her palm. Opening it she found, "This one is a History on plants magical and mundane." Very interesting. Maybe she could hunt down all the Herbology books. if anything she'd be ready for the next class.

Gustav browsed through the titles of the books on the selves. It was true what Jezz said, it was mostly filled with history or astronomy and even books which he found some of them hard to read. He studied a little bit of Latin but the characters were entirely hard to decipher. He couldn't figure it out at all.

He looked over to what Jezz was doing. She had managed to find books all about plants and seemed really enthusiastic about it. He wanted to find things he was interested in too besides Quidditch,of course.
Gustav always found muggles transportation intriguing. The way they traveled without apparition, floo powder,port keys and broomsticks but they made do with super cars and jet planes. It was mind-blowing when he first saw pictures of classic muggle cars and sorts.
Do you think they have muggle transportation books in here?"he asked.

It was early morning, where students were heading for a quick breakfast before the first class. Louisa, however, headed toward the library, half dragging her feet on the floor. She was really tired, barely got any sleep the day before. Her detention with Paulie was not the kind that haunted you at night, it was talking to Ellie about her break-up that kept the girl awake. She really ached for those two.

With a sigh, the fifteen years old walked into the bookshelves section and stopped at the first aisle. Taking her poster out, she waved her wand at it and levitated it to a higher level where everybody could see it. Another flick of her wand, the poster was bigger to fit the bookshelf's side where she was going to stick it. "Lentesco," she murmured. A pale blue light escaped her wand and shot toward the poster, pinning it to the surface behind it. Maybe forever.

She shifted her attention from Astrid to Damien. He looked like he could use a good cup of tea and a long night’s rest. She tilted her head to the side, her pony tail swinging out behind her head to land on her shoulder. And a cookie, her stomach growled. Heck, I could use a cookie. But cookies would have to wait.

She wondered if the thought had passed his mind of whether is ‘aunt’ was really his aunt. She could have been anyone really; from a true and honest aunt to his mother to a sister to a complete stranger who had kidnapped him from the hospital when he was a wee babe. She didn’t think he’d like to hear her theories on who his aunt could have been and speculating at this point probably wouldn’t be of much help. “Did your aunt have any ‘special’ abilities?” she asked. Damien hasn’t told her of his background. He could have come from muggle stock or he could be a pure bred for all she knew, although she doubted the pure-bloodedness…he was missing the odd shifty – cock-eyed look most of them had.

Jezzabelle smiled as she released the book in her hands and watched as it flew back to it's spot on the upper shelf. Hmmm. She could do a lot of things here. She turned back to Gustav as he asked about muggle transportation. "I'm sure there has to be something here. I mean, they have a muggle studies class so they should have books on muggle things right?"

She turned down the next row of books and held her hand out for a book on an upper shelf. Opening it she read the title that she couldn't make out on the faded cover. Muggle and Their Hobbies. She handed the book to Gustav, "I guess we'll just have to search for the right books won't we."

Gustav nodded and agreed with Jezz. They must had all kinds of books here,surely. He had his hand up to a book that was on the upper shelves. The book floated down and landed effortlessly on his hands. The title says "Who 'Wands' To Know"...He chuckled at the funny title.
He turned around when Jezz gave him a book that he might be interested with. He took the book from her and scanned through the pages.
He smiled," Yes, we should..."
" Did you manage to find your books?" he asked after a few minutes of searching.

Grabbing another book, Jezz sighed and let it float back to it's spot on the shelf. "There are a lot of great books here on school subjects but," she sighed again and turned away from the shelves themselves. "I like more than just plants and Quidditch. I like romance. I like action. I like books with plot lines. Interesting and creative mysteries." Not long and boring histories.

"Did you find anymore books on muggles and cars?" She turned back to the bookshelves and read the spines hoping to find an interesting title. Something that she could stay up all night reading. This wasn't her small little library though, it was a school library dedicated to teaching the young mind of tomorrow about yesterday.

Seemed like Jezz had a tendency to get bored easily if she didn't get what she wanted. Gustav was that kind of person too, he wouldn't bother looking through all the titles,unless there was something that caught his interest instantly. He lazily browsed along the bookshelves for something he might like to read. "Yes...me too, I always like muggle adventure books like Robinson Crusoe but I don't think I can find any here,"Gustav said.

"No...I don't think so...maybe it is not in this bookshelf,"he replied, if not he would just make do with the one Jezz had gave him to read.
"Is there a place we can sitt?"he asked.

Jezz sighed. Well, might as well just grab a random book and read it. Maybe it'll be interesting. Reaching for a book right above her she felt it's weight as it landed in her hand. A Life of Numbers : A Book About Arithmancy. Ew. She hated Arithmancy and she didn't want to read about it but she would, all because she had told herself she would.

Poking her head around another shelf she smiled and said, "Yeah. We can sit over there." She made her way to the study tables.

Vlimia walked into the large Hogwarts library, marveling at the amount of books the shelves held. While she would have loved to run into the Restricted Section for curiousity's sake, she knew it was restricted. It was the Restricted Section, after all. Anyways, she was looking for one book in particular. Yes, it was a children's storybook, but Vlim was very interested in a few stories her parents refused to read to her. While they took great relish in telling her The Warlock's Hairy Heart and a few others that they seemed to be ad-libbing (for example, she highly doubted the brother with the Elder Wand would have been the master of death), they never told her about a quarter of the stories in there.
After a few minutes of searching, Vlim found the book she was looking for. And while it was a different cover than she was used to, it was definitely the same book. After reading The Tale of Three Brothers, Vlimia was quite relieved to find that the brother with the invisibilty cloak won in the end. Well, relieved in a sense. She was very shocked that her parents had lied to her. Vlim absolutely had to check this book out!
After checking out The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Vlimia decided to go to the Common Room and read the book cover to cover. This would really clear up all of the childhood mysteries she had had previously.

Lilly wandered absently along the bookshelves, not looking for anything in particular. She just needed quiet. The girl had been missing her mother recently much more than before, the shock still there. Her head ached, but she couldn't be bothered to go to the hospital wing, and it wasn't that bad, anyway.

As the blonde Slytherin entered the library, Chelsea headed toward the bookshelves. Not looking for anything specific, just wandering. She stopped to look at the books which included: various herbology books, potions books, and one on how to become an animagus.
As she put one of the potions books back on the shelf Chelsea looked over and saw a blonde Gryffindor girl wandering about. Do I know her? She looks familiar she thought. Oh well, she was going to talk to her anyway. Chelsea did tell herself she was going to meet more people this year. Once she got closer she noticed it was Ryan's friend Lilly, who she had met once last year. "Hi, its Lilly right?" said Chelsea with a smile. They hadn't talked much last year but Lilly did seem like a nice person.

Gustav saw the book Jezz had picked up. Arithmancy...he read. He chuckled at the way she made a face when she realized what kind of book she was holding. Arithmancy wasn't his greatest subject...he wasn't really good with numbers but that did not mean he was bad at it. He didn't want to be bothered with topics related to it unless counting galleons was part of the job.

"Olright..." Gustav smiled and followed her to the study tables.

Lilly looked up from the potions book she was staring at. "Oh, hi Chelsea," she smiled, warmly. "Yeah, it is," she smiled. The Slytherin was Ryan's girlfriend, right? But she wasn't to Slytherin-ish compared to some the young Gryffindor had met. In fact, Chelsea seemed extremely Hufflepuff-ish. And Lilly knew that it wasn't based on the house of families, as her twin sister was a Hufflepuff.

Ok so she had been right, good thing. It would have been embarrassing if it hadn't been her. What? Lilly recognized her? Odd, since last year they only talked once and now her hair was blonde not the dark brown it used to be.
Chelsea looked at Lilly and smiled, yes Lilly did seem very nice, but Chelsea couldn't help but feel a bit jealous when Ryan spent time with her. "So, whats going on?" asked Chelsea trying to start conversation. I told myself I'd meet more people so now I'm doing it she told herself. Even if it was the girl that sometimes she felt a bit jealous over, who knows maybe they would eventually be friends.

Jez breathed out slowly, running her hand along the spines of the books. Nothing could calm her down like the library. The smell of the books, the feel of the covers, the suppressed chatter ... it was relaxing. And sleep-inducing. After weeks of restless sleep, tossing and turning enough to drive everyone else in the dorm crazy, Jez was exhausted. She'd barely managed to keep awake during class.

The library was too much. Jez didn't even hear the dull thud as her body dropped against the bookshelves. She was too busy being asleep on her feet.

Lilly sort of read Chelsea's mind. She recognised the Slytherin well. Chelsea had always made Lilly feel a bit jealous, but it was probably the same with Chelsea. Why she always felt jealous around the girl, she didn't know. Ryan was just a friend, anyway. "Y-you changed your hair colour?" Lilly said, slightly stiffly.
Chelsea smiled at her. Chelsea didn't even seem that bad, so the young Lioness had no reason to dislike her. "I'm good," she replied. Well, not exactly great. She was living with Rupert. Good. Her mum just died. Bad. Her dad couldn't look after them. Bad.

This was new, feeling this extreme jealously. Chelsea didn't care for it too much but she couldn't help it. As she looked over Lilly, the girl seemed a bit uncomfortable. Was Lilly jealous of her as well? "Oh, uh yeah I did. I needed some kind of change" she quickly said. Chelsea did like the blonde on herself, it made her look prettier. Well she thought anyway.
Taking a deep breath. Relax. Ok. "Thats good, I'm not doing too bad myself" she added with a smile. This girl didn't seem to talk very much, was she upset or just don't like Slytherins?

Cardigan scanned the bookshelves,looking for an eye catching book,preferably horror or mystery.She had already read her Edgar Allen Poe book a lot this year!Despite him being a muggle,he could certainly chill the souls of muggles and wizards alike!She slowly walked,reading title after title after title.When ever would she find one?

Deeply engrossed in Beedle the Bard, Vlimia hardly looked up when her friend passed by, but she got a glimpse of the familiar face. "Oh, hey Cardi!" She called, putting the bookmark she had made into her book, saving her place. "What kind of book are you after?" Vlim asked, looking at a small pile of books to the right of herself. "I picked out a few 'Series of Unfortunate Events' books myself, it's an intriguing series." She remarked, carefully skipping over the fact that the author was Muggle. If she pretended to 'forget' then her parents could never get her in trouble for reading Muggle books.

"Hey Vlim!"Cardigan said,smiles all over.She hadn't seen Vlimia in like forever!Darn different houses.Why do you have to be all private common room? She had a......very secret question to ask her friend but decided to ask later.If a certain someone walked in and overhead,she would be dead!It would be better to ask somewhere more private."Probably a Mystery,Horror,Thriller,or suspense!"Cardigan replied with a dreamy,far away look upon her face.Bloodshed and ghosts were some of her favorite things to read about!
