What on Earth was Keefer doing with a SWORD?! Sure, it was part of whatever costume he chose...but, seriously? A sword? How about a WAND, Keefer? Wizards always carry wands around.

Also, the Head Boy had a very important question. Who was Charlotte? And why did this remind him or 'Romeo and Juliet'? It didn't have to remind him of that play, because this was nothing like it. Blink. All Treyen wanted to do was yell 'CUT'...because...he should've known that they were going to add names into this...and most importantly, Treyen should've known WHO was Charlotte.

The same atmosphere remained untouched, however, if you looked to the opposite side of where the Head Boy was sitting...across the stage...you'll see far away jets of lights coming from one place to the other and so on. That could only mean war. "The Wizarding world has fallen into war. All Wizards are called to battle, defending the side they so trusted." Exactly how many times have Wizards fought throughout history??

"Was there something the Wizard could do to prevent him from leaving? Perhaps for good?" No need to answer that question, really. BUT you start hearing some voices, the words you cannot comprehend, but some voices, or maybe just one, is heard on the distance.

Treyen was hoping that the Prefects hadn't changed the story, though.

Wait...Charlotte? That wasn't her name. Her name was Kurumi. Had Keefer lost his mind? It took her a few seconds, standing halfway out of the shadows , for her to realize that SHE was Charlotte. Right, THAT had been what Keefer had meant when he pulled her aside earlier.

Stepping out fully into the light now, Kurumi tried to mask her stage fright with an overly enthusiastic smile. She did have a character to play.

"WILLIAM!" she exclaimed, arms opened wide as she walked across the stage. "My..." she paused. Merlin this was sort of awkward. "...love." And she hugged Keefer!William. "I'm frightened for you. I saw something in the tea leaves...and...OH WILLIAM!" And cue another awkward looking and overly dramatic hug from the Gryffindor. "Promise me. Promise me that you will never leave me no matter what."

Jezz could imagine it perfectly and not just because the scene was unfolding in front of her but because it wasn't too hard to imagine wizards fighting on another. She watch as 'Charlotte' walked out and smiled because it was her older lion sister. It was so sweet though, the way Charlotte begged William to never leave her no matter what. So....romantic. Sigh.

He replied with a smile for Indy while at the same time keeping a close eye on what was going on onstage. There was still only Treyen - as the narrator - and Keefer - as somekind of Muggle prince? - on stage.

Wait, where were the other Prefects and Quidditch Captains by the way? Would they be part of the story too? Hopefully.

Okay. And also where had everybody else gotten their food from? He wanted some too! Oh over there. But he couldn't exactly get up again to get some. Crap! He was going to have to wait for after the story. Or would there be an intermission? He didn't dare levitate any over to him in case somebody broke his focus and hence causing somebody else to get a brand new marshmallow-hat.

Indy moved a little closer to Lewis. She was definetly going to use him to protect her if she got all scared. She was only 13, she got scared easily. But the story seemed okay so far. Just someone who was looking for someone. That seemed okay, but Indy did have a feeling that it might get worse. Lewis was here though, so that would be okay. "Not really. It's just started." Which was a good thing. She didn't want her friend too have missed too much. It was good that he hadn't.

Indy turned her attention back to the stage, as that female gryffindor prefect came on. Ohh. She was who the guy was looking for. That seemed okay. But why was the man going to go? That was sad. She didn't really get why the girl would be sad that he was going. Unless they were really good things. That must have been it! Losing a really good friend would be very sad!

Beatrice frowned a bit at the end of Kurumi's scene. Weren't those lovers from way before Hogwarts was built TOO dramatic? Yep! They were just too corny but the Hufflepuff Captain and Gryffindor female Prefect sure performed their parts very well. She have got to commend them for that.

Propping, a few chips on her mouth, the eaglette relaxed her back and stretched her arms. She was getting sore from being too focused on the play. She was just too interested with the school's history that was why she pinned almost all her attention on what was happening with the story. But now, it was time to loosen up a bit and maybe find someone to talk to while the performance takes progress?

Janice heard crunches of chips beside her. She turned her head and saw Beatrice, sitting next to her. Sometimes, her brain does tricks to her, sometimes never even made her notice wjp's sitting next to who.

"Hey," she said, nudging her. "Enjoy the story much?"

Back to the story, and the marshmallow thief the Head Boy looked to the stage once more, and he'll recommend everyone to do so as well, but since the stage was suddenly changing its scenery he supposed people will be looking towards it, right?

The misty fog remained, only now it was dissipating between, what seemed to be, parts of a huge forest, much like the forbidden one over there, next to where they sat.

"The story is about a man and a woman, a wizard and a witch, who loved each other...but were separated by unexpected circumstances." Those unexpected circumstances will be told, just wait.

The fire dimmed a bit more, and the torches lit up more and more.

What was seen on stage?

He peered behind the trees on stage. "She shall come to me presently," he murmured softly, the older language falling haltingly off his tongue. He stepped to the middle of the stage, sitting on a log and brooding.

After several second's pause, he began a monologue. "How can I tell her these tidings of war? She will never forgive me for leaving, for forsaking our love." He let out a long sigh. "I must leave her with a token of my affections, lest I ne'er return... But what can reveal the depth of my love? How can I prove my fealty, my intentions?" he wondered aloud, sighing with the weight of the future on his shoulders.

Then he looked up, as if he had heard a rustling coming through the woods. Rising, he called once more. "Charlotte? Is that you?"

Janice had never liked cheesy love stories. In fact, she thought that every love story is stupid. She had never gotten the point of 2 people falling for each other and was scared that they will never see their love ever again.

"Keefer?" she said to herself. Really?? she thought. There's no mistake of that voice. It's either she hang out with him quite a lot or there is just a person in the world who has that kind of voice. And then Kurumi shows up hugging him saying that she's scared that they will never see each other again. Janice knitted her eyebrows, not sure to laugh or not, but in the inside, she thought that this play/story/bonfire is kind of weird.

He was relieved to see someone else come onto the stage. He didn't like the sole attention of the audience on him. But.. she was calling him her love and giving him a hug. Slightly awkward, but he embraced the role for the sake of the story.

"It's true, the Wizarding world has gone to war, and you know I never wish to leave you!" He sighed. "I cannot promise you that, Charlotte, please do not make me. For I have been pressed into service, left with no choice but to go to the front lines." He pulled away from her, as if he couldn't bear to be in contact with her when he uttered his fateful news. He hoped the audience could sense the unspoken worries that would pass between two lovers faced with separation.

"I know that you fear we shall never meet again, that I will not return to you. But I have thought of a remedy, a way to let my soul be with you evermore."

Before she could reply, he walked away to the other side of the stage, partially hidden by the trees. Here goes nothing! He pulled out his wand and aimed it offstage, so the audience purposefully could not see what he was doing. With a nonverbal spell, he sent off a flash of green light that lit up the stage, while speaking different, fateful words, "Avada Kedavra!"

He returned to her, face pale in the flickering light of the bonfire. "I have done for you what most men could not, the greatest sacrifice." He took her hands in his, conscious of how awkwardly intimate it felt. Hopefully Kurumi didn't feel too uncomfortable. "Now my soul can reside within you where'er you go."

"I don't mind ghost stories. It's just...being by the Forbidden Forest and all with all the creatures out and about...you know..." he said, scooting more closer to her.

Ella nodded. She understood what Logan meant. All the appearances of the creatures from the Forbidden Forest had made her quite nervous to walk around the grounds let alone sit so close to it at night. "I know what you mean." she whispered, giving him a nervous smile and turning her attention back to the stage.

And there she is calling someone named...William! That's his name. Ella jumped a bit when she heard her yell William actually, not expecting her entrance. She wanted to giggle as the two embraced, thinking it looked quite silly and dramatic but not wanting to be rude.

Evelyn was starting to get a little more interested in the story now. The girl, Charlotte had entered the stage now and seemed to be upset about..tea leaves..erm. Anyway, Evelyn was glad that she decided to come to this bonfire. She'd definitely needed a break.

Well she didn't see Alec or Pretty Boy. But maybe she would know someone down near the fire. Adeline tried to look at the other students but she just didn't know anybody. She knows she needs to get out more and meet new people and be less shy and more bold.

Evelyn noticed a young girl standing nearby, looking completely lost. Was she searching for her friends or was she looking for a place to sit? Anyway, Evelyn decided to find out.

"Hey there. You okay?"

Awkward. Awkwardawkwardawkward.

If Keefer was feeling awkward about all this, he certainly wasn't showing it. Kurumi was thankful for the long skirt she was wearing, because she was fidgeting like a flutterby bush. When he pulled away, Kurumi's body leaned forward, as if clinging to the warmth of their embrace. The truth was that she had simply been knocked off balance, but the audience should see it differently.

"But...I want you!" she said, her face serious and pleading as Keefer walked over towards the edge of the stage to perform the next bit of his part. Honestly, killing someone just for the sake of giving a piece of you to the person you loved? Kurumi didn't like that...but Charlotte and William were apparently peachy keen with it. Selfish is what she called that. Yep.

When Keefer!William came back, Kurumi's eyes lit up and...WOAH! She hadn't been expecting him to take her hands. THAT hadn't happened in rehearsal! "William...," she replied with the slightest of glimmer to her eyes. "Now we will be together, always." She put one hand on her chest and the other on Keefer!William's. AWKWARD. "Just as my heart beats within my chest, so does a part of you."

Olivia was sitting in the front row, and it was still impossible to see anything but the fire and the stage.

Maybe there would be audiance participation.
Olivia imagined something or someone from onstage comming into the audience, or something from the forrest, or maybe some of the students going up on stage, or maybe a skrewt from the forrest would jump up onto the stage...

She was interested in the story about Hogwarts before the founders found it, there were probly many stories about it, she listened intently.
but wanted to get past the lovey dovey part. It would funner when something scarry happened!

She twirled her marshmallow stick in the fire and all of a sudden heard the words Avada Kedavera, did William kill Charlotte!? Olivia popped her head back up to look at the stage, nope Charlotte was still standing. Well that would have been one way to make your lover not worry about you. The Slytherin thought.

He felt her surprise at finding their hands clasped. Shoot, was that too much? It just seemed like what William would do! He would have to find her afterwards and make sure she knew that he wasn't trying to make a move in real life or anything.

But then... Why is her hand on my chest?!?!? Fortunately he had the composure to say his line before departing the stage. "I will always love you, but now I fear that I must go." He ended the scene by running walking purposefully off the stage, leaving to fulfill his destiny at war.

For her own feeling of security no doubt. There was nothing wrong with that.

He shuffled along a bit to allow her to sit next to him. At least he actually knew someone here who he talked to now. “You any idea wot this is all 'bout?” he whispered to her nonchalantly with his eyes still fixed on the Head Boy. Halloween had been and gone.. unless maybe wizards had their own version in February. Tom's ignorance over the magical world still left him feeling ashamed and, often, embarrassed.

Good, someone was being all smiley today instead of pulling he's usual frown. Mimicking him she grinned back. She noticed he had her eye on her little teddy, but she knew he wouldn't judge her. He just wasn't that kind of person, not to her at least. Pretending not to take notice of he's eyeing, she continued grinning and continued shnuggling Winky.

With her eyes still on Treyen, she heard Tom's little whisper. At first she shook her head to answer him, only to realize that he couldn't see. She was such a blonde at times. "Nope, not at all. I thought we we're just having some bonfire thing." she whispered back as she turned her head to look at him. He eyes were fixed onto the stage and she felt safe to continue staring at him.

After a few moments she looked back at the stage. Was that Keefer, her quidditch Caption? She squinted a little and then once again nodded. It was him, and why was he wearing such a weird costume? She still had no idea what was going on, but the next thing she knew, she saw Kurumi apearing on stage also strangely dressed. What was it with this people? And now they were talking about some war and a little bit after that a green light apeared on the stage and Keefer well William had said the words Avadra Kedavra. "I'm..um..I'm scared." she mumbled hugging her teddy even tighter. She was just too much of a scaredy cat for these sort of things, they just didn't go well with her. She looked back at Tom, hoping he wasn't scared too.

You know, unless she got scared out of her wits too. But things so far in the story seemed to be pretty chill. Minus the desperate lovers ordeal and the Avada Kadavra thing. That was weird.

As some other character appeared, Gwendolyn glimpsed at the stage . A play! She really wasn’t expecting that! Anyway, it seemed like he was going to act rather well too. Gwen admired anyone that could act at all, because she knew she would have probably burst into laughing from the moment she’d have stepped on the stage.

Ella looked at the stage with her brows raised. What on earth was Keefer...er William thinking? Could he really have taken a part of his soul and let it live on with Charlotte while he went on to fight? She shivered a little, thinking that seemed pretty dark. It also seemed pretty ridiculous to Ella. Romance sure did weird things to people... She glanced at Logan out of the corner of her eye, wondering what his take on this whole thing was. One thing was for sure, Ella was impressed that Keefer and Kurumi were able to keep straight faces through all of the drama. They were doing quite a nice job actually.

But then... Why is her hand on my chest?!?!? Fortunately he had the composure to say his line before departing the stage. "I will always love you, but now I fear that I must go." He ended the scene by running walking purposefully off the stage, leaving to fulfill his destiny at war.

It was so romantic. Stupid, but romantic. Heather sighed as she watched the two lovers interact and had to admit she never though Kurumi would be such a good actress. Then he killed just so his spirit could be with her forever. It was beyond romantic. Still stupid, but oh so romantic. It was love. Then he was gone and it was as if she was Charlotte. She wanted to run after him but this was just a story after all and she remained seated.

Ella nodded. She understood what Logan meant. All the appearances of the creatures from the Forbidden Forest had made her quite nervous to walk around the grounds let alone sit so close to it at night. "I know what you mean." she whispered, giving him a nervous smile and turning her attention back to the stage.

SPOILER!!: The Story

Ella watched as the story continued to unfold. War? Now there was a war and poor old-what was his name? Well whoever Keefer was playing had to go and leave his love, this Charlotte person...oh! And there she is calling someone named...William! That's his name. Ella jumped a bit when she heard her yell William actually, not expecting her entrance. She wanted to giggle as the two embraced, thinking it looked quite silly and dramatic but not wanting to be rude.

Logan replied by just giving a slight nod. He then looked back at the stage, and watched the play.

He smiled. He was actually really getting into this play, it was pretty good! He took out his bag of Jelly Beans that he'd gotten from the dorm and silently began eating some. Ah, Jelly Beans. He loooved Jelly Beans! They were the best candy in the woooorld!

Timidly propping another chip on her mouth, Beezus felt somebody nudge her from her right side. Turning her head, she saw Janice, one of her Hufflepuff friends. "Oh, hey!" Beezus shrugged. "I dunno. I'm not really into love stories but I'm very interested with this one." Because of all the Pre-hogwarts thingy with it and whatnot. "How about..." Beatrice was on her way to asking the girl the same question when apparently William or should she say the Hufflepuff Captain started spouting out his lines.

But I have thought of a remedy, a way to let my soul be with you evermore."

....OMYGOSH! MERLIN! DIDTHATREALLYYHAPPEN? First, she was going to absorb what happened in the story. That was just...too sacrificial. Imagine killing oneself so he could leave a piece of him with his beloved. Nope, she was never going to do something as dumb martyr as that. She sighed.

Really, those people from the old times were just too committed with each other. Yep, she was using the word TOO a bit more than necessary that night. Tsk, tsk. Now she was going to reflect on another bit of the performance. Just what would Jonathan Kim think of it? Speaking of him, she hadn't seen the boy much. Beezus looked around, hoping to spot him and maybe witness his reaction towards the scenes of Kurumi and Keefer but really..he just wasn' there. HMMMMMMM.. based on how they acted, the Prefect and Captain sure didn't show any signs that there was awkwardness in the bonfire air.

So it seemed that no one wanted to talk to him. Or hold his hand. Or give him a hug because he felt scared. But maybe that was because he was sitting at the far back, away from the others and most importantly , the fire.

The Slytherin let out a sigh as he tried to concentrate on the play on the stage. He saw Kurumi coming up after Keefer had done his part and he watched fascinated at how they played. Because it was so dark, Daichi couldn't see their nerves and thought they were playing really well.

but WAAAIIIT! what had just happened?! what was that green light?! and and and... did he just say the killing curse?! *LEGASP!* Daichi sat upright as he tried to see if Kurumi and Keefer were...still alive. Of course they were and it was all part of the play , but still it freaked him out!

Kurumi sort of stood there frozen and momentarily forgot that this was all part of the script. Kurumi had...sort of edited THAT word out of her bits...the parts where it was preceded by I and followed by you at least. She just didn't feel comfortable saying that...especially to Keefer...or anyone other than a certain someone...whoshewasn'tsureifshereallyfeltthatwaybu tsuspectedthatshedid.

Thankfully, to the audience at least, Kurumi's zoned out state was fitting for the moment. Charlotte watching as the love of her life left her for what she knew in her heart would be for good, a piece of his soul residing within her. Once Keefer!William was completely off stage, Kurumi came back to her senses and remembered she had a little more to do before the narration could continue.

Walking around a bit on stage, to mostly signify the passing of time, Kurumi suddenly clutched her chest and collapsed to the stage floor, her body hunched over as if in extreme pain. "N-N-No...it can't be...." she gasped. "WILLIAAM!"

And then the stage went dark.

In the darkness, Kurumi too scampered off stage and grabbed a marshmallow from a bowl that she had set out earlier. Sweets to help calm the nerves as it were...because THAT had just been really awkward...

Well, yeah. Treyen blinked.

WHO dimmed all the lights on stage? Because he was extremely distracted as to do so...or...hey, Vashti! She probably did it. The Head Girl was free to join him, or start with the next part of the story, yes?

The Head Boy cleared his throat. "So, William...," that was the name of the Wizard, apparently, "...well, he died a terrible death." Simple enough. The Wizard had died. At war, of course.

It was rather funny to see Keefer so connected with the character, actually, and it was extremely weird to be on this side of the stage, even if he was inches away from it.

HEY! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE YELLOW IN HIS UNIFORM?!

Vashti.

When Anya turned to her, it looked like the girls' eyes were going to pop out of her head. Ellie tried to hide her smile and wrapped an arm around the ickle firstie. "Sure thing, squirt. I'll keep you safe."

You know, unless she got scared out of her wits too. But things so far in the story seemed to be pretty chill. Minus the desperate lovers ordeal and the Avada Kadavra thing. That was weird.

Anya smiled and cozied up to the Ravenclaw. She watched as the story unfolded. So... They were in loveeeeeee... and he had to go to war. She then tilted her head to the side. What was with the flashy green light and the abracadabra?

She nudged Ellie. "What just happened?" she whispered.

At first, Vashti was a bit disappointed with the lack of reaction she seemed to get, especially from Treyen, concerning his costume change. But he and the students were clearly focused on the story, which was probably best. So she kept her place in the shadows and continued silently watching. Keefer and Kurumi were quite good, weren't they? Vashti doubted SHE would've been able to play those parts convincingly. Merlin help her if she ever "loved" someone so much that she'd kill a someone else just to split her soul and create a horcrux or if someone did that for her. That was just awful, honestly. But it was part of the story, so her opinion of it didn't really...

Oh! That was her cue!

With the lights on stage still dimmed, Vashti solemnly took her place beside Treyen. "When the news of William's death reached poor Charlotte, she was devastated, and her heart-broken self could think of only one thing to do: to bring the man she loved back to life. As she was exceptionally gifted in the art of potion-making, she decided to brew a Resurrection Potion - a complicated potion that, when made correctly, would allow the extra soul she lived with take the form of the human body it had once belonged to." With that, the lighting on the stage changed - the stage was completely dark for a moment, but then it slowly lit up, so that it seemed to be lit by a soft, silvery light: moonlight. On the stage, though off to the side towards the lake, was a large cauldron that hadn't been there before.

Still keeping her solemn expression - though she really wanted to know whether Treyen had noticed the colors in his clothes had changed - she waited silently for the next scene to begin.

Julien sat silently, eating the marshmallows out of the bowl. He was trying his hardest to pay attention to the story, he truly was. There was just...this whole story business just wasn't his cup of tea. These marshmallows, though...A story of their own!

He clutched his bowl of marshmallows to his chest and got up off the ground. Perhaps a trip back to the food area was what he needed. Perhaps, maybe, he'd meet someone that could help make this night a little more entertaining.

Once he reached the table, he scoured for something that would catch his eye. A drink, preferably..

Ellie smiled when Anya got cozy. She was so friggin' cute. After the events unfolded, she heard Anya ask what just happened. She was probably referring to the Avada Kadavra bit. Because as far as Ellie knew, firsties didn't know about the Unforgivable Curses.

"Erm..." Ellie pursed her lips for a moment. "Err, he... He gave his... spirit... to his lover. So he would always be with her. Even if he died." That was kind of vague. But Ellie didn't want to be the one to tell the poor girl about the killing curse.

And it turned out that the guy ended up dying in the war. How sad. Luckily, it wasn't scary yet. And now the woman was going to resurrect her dead lover? Yeah, Ellie saw this going horribly wrong.
