Anyone want to talk to Iz? Isabelle didn't really know what this Boofire thing was. Once she got there she heard someone reading a story was it. Izzy didn't really know but she grabbed a blanket anyway and spread it out on the edge of the group. Butterbeer in one hand smore in the other she sat down and listened to what was going on. Even if no one would talk to her it still seemed worth it to come just for the food. Listening she began to munch on her smore and drink some of her butterbeer. |
Text Cut: Vickers! Ellie's eyes shot up at the voice. She GLARED at Vickers. She did NOT look nice, okay? Dresses were not nice. They were horrible inventions. She was just being a good sport and wearing one. She smirked at his inquiry, though. "Sort of." Then the lights dimmed and she took the opportunity to make her way into the shadows. But not before giving a wave to Vickers. |
Finally, he accepted her offer of food without putting up some silly argument. Though that was probably more due to the fact that he was focused on this thing they were doing. She was too. Just not really while students were arriving and they hadn't even started yet. But when they did begin, she pulled her last marshmallow from the fire, and waited til all of the attention was on Treyen before disillusioning herself and heading off behind the others. |

Text Cut: *eyes Treyen and his "costume"* After putting the finishing touches on her costume, Vashti made her way quickly but carefully down to the area the BOOfire was being held at. This was going to be so fun! She wasn't one for listening to scary/horror stories herself, but helping perform one was a different story. She arrived just in time to hear Treyen beginning the story, but she remained in the shadows near him since it wasn't time for her to come on yet. And she would've just watched and minded her own business...if she hadn't noticed what Treyen was wearing: his school uniform? Really? That was NOT creepy, dark, or in any way fitting for a GHOST story. Looked like she was going to have to help him out. After drawing her wand, Vashti gave it a wave as she said a silent spell that would - at least until the end of the story - change all the non-black-colored clothes he was wearing to appear black. Since she couldn't conjure up a whole new costume for him, that would have to do. Thank Merlin she was near him, so surely no one would've seen the spell and it didn't interrupt the story at all. It would be hard not to notice that the colors of his clothes had changed though, and if Treyen noticed and looked back at her, she would smirk at him. You're welcome, Mr. Head Boy. |

Yeah I guess he is Oakey said paying full attention to the stage and giving Alyssa some of his attention. He laughed under his breathe when he saw Keefer enter the stage in the silly Medieval outfit. |
Anyone? Adeline looked around. She saw fire. Fire? Why was there a bonfire? Was that normal for Hogwarts? Adeline walked down to the fire and looked at the people that were there. She didn't know anyone. Well she didn't see Alec or Pretty Boy. But maybe she would know someone down near the fire. Adeline tried to look at the other students but she just didn't know anybody. She knows she needs to get out more and meet new people and be less shy and more bold. |
SPOILER!!: Capn Ellie Vickers caught that glare, but gazed back innocently. At least in his fairest opinion she didnt look ugly. He returned her wave and proceeded to make himself comfortable by the bonfire. SPOILER!!: Alyssa and Oakey He returned Alyssa's wave and chuckled "Yes Alyssa, I remember you, Transfiguration class. And we're Twitter buddies." Yes names. He remembers them. For the most part. And here's another one he remembered "Hello Oakey" the boy with a wooden name. Or something out of the Muggle eye-wear advertising. SPOILER!!: but we wants smth to happen to Vickers Mr Head Boy, jz dnt tell him *snerk* Yup Vincenzo, thats his name. Although he wondered if it was common anywhere outside of a Latin community. Apparently it was. As the stage began to light up he listened to Treyen start to narrate. A ghost story? He was curious, he has never actually done the whole bonfire-ghosty-stories thing before. Or any kind of scary story. Although maybe that was because stories told to him have always been more historical or related through the scope of cold logic. SPOILER!!: like Chris said-- DINNER THEATER! XD The Ravenclaw watched unblinking. Does this guy look familiar? Maybe, although now he was abit more interested about that war.... |

SPOILER!!: Story! Oooo. A scary romance. How lovely. What would happen next. Was it Charlotte that made the rustling sound or was it someone else? She toasted a marshmallow waiting for the figure to appear. |
Sean walked around the bonfire. He really enjoyed being outside and it was a nice change of pace from school. He looked around but didn't see anyone he knew so he kept wandering around. He had grabbed a butterbeer, found a nice place to sit, and sipped on it while the show began. |

Narrator. ^^ Treyen couldn't help but keep his eyes glued to the stage. And he blinked. What on Earth was Keefer doing with a SWORD?! Sure, it was part of whatever costume he chose...but, seriously? A sword? How about a WAND, Keefer? Wizards always carry wands around. Also, the Head Boy had a very important question. Who was Charlotte? And why did this remind him or 'Romeo and Juliet'? It didn't have to remind him of that play, because this was nothing like it. Blink. All Treyen wanted to do was yell 'CUT'...because...he should've known that they were going to add names into this...and most importantly, Treyen should've known WHO was Charlotte. The same atmosphere remained untouched, however, if you looked to the opposite side of where the Head Boy was sitting...across the stage...you'll see far away jets of lights coming from one place to the other and so on. That could only mean war. "The Wizarding world has fallen into war. All Wizards are called to battle, defending the side they so trusted." Exactly how many times have Wizards fought throughout history?? "Was there something the Wizard could do to prevent him from leaving? Perhaps for good?" No need to answer that question, really. BUT you start hearing some voices, the words you cannot comprehend, but some voices, or maybe just one, is heard on the distance. Treyen was hoping that the Prefects hadn't changed the story, though. |
Grabs Alec. Wants to pinch his cheeks so bad xD SPOILER!!: Alec the boy with the cute cheeks "Hi Alec. Come join us here. Where is Anya?"Alyssa whispered to Alec looking for his SPOILER!!: Oakey Alyssa had a feeling that Oakey didn't feel like talking right now. So she decided to remain silent for the rest of the night. If Oakey wanted to talk later, then she would do so but until then she would just listen to the story that was been re-enacted in front of them. SPOILER!!: Vickers Alyssa smiled when Vickers acknowledged her greeting. She would have said more but then didn't want to distract everyone's attention from Treyen's story telling and Keefer's bizzare acting, so just waved back and nodded back at Vickers. |
Kennedy was sat ALL the way in the BACK. He was under his dark cloak that caused him to blend in with the night. Truth be told, he was REALLY nervous The prefect tugged on his cloak, pulling it closer to him. His wasn't chilly, but the appearance of the Head Boy reminded him of why he was there. OOC: He's hiding in the shadows. *shifty* |
SPOILER!!: Zhenya! "I've been good." She said, sitting up again. "Just doing ya know, stuff." Yup. Very good at explaining Glenn. "Ugh, I've watched too many horror movies before. My mum seems to think that watching muggle movies, despite them being horror, would still be better than watching any related to magic." Glenn rambled, "Ghost stories. Are basically spoken movie right?" Yes. Get ready to be terrified if this was what was happening Glenn. SPOILER!!: The performance and story! Glenn huddled under her blanket as she turned to face the stage where everything was happening. Everyone had gone silent. She sipped her butterbeer quietly as she waited, hanging onto every word of the play/story/whatever. It hadn't really gotten scary yet. But she knew that it eventually would, and she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. |
*snags* Quote:
Plus she was a bit cold. Even wrapped up in a blanket, the little first year was still shivering a little bit. She spotted Ellie and plopped into the seat right next to her. Why was the head boy all black looking? This was going to be one of those stories that made her not sleep for days, wasn't it? She turned to Ellie. "Will you hold my hand if it gets scary?" she asked with wide eyes. Even if the older girl said no, Anya was still planning on clinging to the Ravenclaw. |
let's just pretend she's been here, and NOT arriving way late. xD Marshmallow stick in hand, Stella had been sitting near the fire, toasting a marshmallow and just generally staying warm. The blanket she'd brought with her helped, but she was still thinking about borrowing one of the ones the prefects had set out as well. Perhaps on her next trip for snacks. It was either that or hoping Matt would show up and she could snuggle. She wasn't sure that was happening, though, so blankets were good. And her coat, which was securely buttoned up as well. At least she wasn't scared of the story being told. Ghosts weren't that bad, after all. She still thought veela were worse. Of course, when she'd first arrived and seen the stage, all she'd been able to think of was two summers ago and that carnival that had been in Diagon Alley. When she'd met Salander, when he'd tried to talk her into doing a monologue. Even without actually knowing she could very well have done so, but she hadn't. She knew that nobody was going to be bothering her to get up and act, though, as it seemed that was the job of the prefects. The Head Boy was doing a rather good job of being the narrator, though, and she'd turned her head toward the area across from the Hufflepuff, watching the lights and strainign to hear the faint voices. |

Oooh. Lookie! Lewis was here. Indy smiled as he sat down next to her. Yaay. Someone was with her now. Lewis was a big boy so he'd totally protect her if she got scared. "Hi Lewis." The second year smiled at her older friend. ""Oh....well it's a bonfire, and they're like telling a scary ghosty story....I think it's supposed to be scary ghosty anyway." She thought so anyway. |
One prefect was now on stage. Seemingly, no..Not seemingly but really acting out the part of the man on the story. She'd love to know more about the Pre-Hogwarts history that was why she wasn't talking to anyone as she sat there, fully focused on the performance. |
You can say that Hades was definitely not into the whole story thing. Rather than sitting near the bonfire, why not spend time near the the fire place in the common rooms instead? Although Hades knew that one shall not deny food. That was probably the only reason he showed up. Taking a bite of the hotdog he No longer interested in the play, Hades took another bite of the hotdog and looked around as everyone was paying attention on the play. He sighed, feeling like sneaking away back to the common room. The only thing that held him from creeping away was the food... |

The story started rather promising, but Gwen frowned a little as the love part began. Why can’t there be stories WITHOUT it?! Really. It would be much better, the third year told herself and then drew her attention back to what was happening. Though… it was after all a ghost story, so that should make it better. Mhmm… possibly. As some other character appeared, Gwendolyn glimpsed at the stage . A play! She really wasn’t expecting that! Anyway, it seemed like he was going to act rather well too. Gwen admired anyone that could act at all, because she knew she would have probably burst into laughing from the moment she’d have stepped on the stage. |

Wait, where were the other Prefects and Quidditch Captains by the way? Would they be part of the story too? Hopefully. Okay. And also where had everybody else gotten their food from? He wanted some too! Oh over there. But he couldn't exactly get up again to get some. Crap! He was going to have to wait for after the story. Or would there be an intermission? He didn't dare levitate any over to him in case somebody broke his focus and hence causing somebody else to get a brand new marshmallow-hat. |
on STAGE Kurumi fidgeted more and more with her robes when she heard Treyen kick off the story telling and the fifth year was suddenly overcome with stage fright. Merlin...she was up soon, wasn't she? Quote:
Stepping out fully into the light now, Kurumi tried to mask her stage fright with an overly enthusiastic smile. She did have a character to play. "WILLIAM!" she exclaimed, arms opened wide as she walked across the stage. "My..." she paused. Merlin this was sort of awkward. "...love." And she hugged Keefer!William. "I'm frightened for you. I saw something in the tea leaves...and...OH WILLIAM!" And cue another awkward looking and overly dramatic hug from the Gryffindor. "Promise me. Promise me that you will never leave me no matter what." |
