Truth be told, he hadn't considered the younger students when they talked about this. They could always sleep in their respective Head of House office if they were too terrified to sleep in their Common Room. Or simply sleep in Vindictus' office, which was the closest. He wouldn't mind, right? Back to the story, The misty fog remained, only now it was dissipating between, what seemed to be, parts of a huge forest, much like the forbidden one over there, next to where they sat. "The story is about a man and a woman, a wizard and a witch, who loved each other...but were separated by unexpected circumstances." Those unexpected circumstances will be told, just wait. The fire dimmed a bit more, and the torches lit up more and more. What was seen on stage? :shifty: |
Ella watched as the stage scenery transformed into a woodsy set. She shivered again, looking nervously at the forbidden Forrest. Hopefully nothing from in there would make an appearance at this gathering! Especially if the stage looked quite like home for the creatures that lived in there. She returned he attention to Treyen, thinking he had the whole spooky story teller thing down pat. Unexpected circumstances huh? That surely meant they were murdered or something! |
Hearing his cue, Keefer walked quietly onto the stage. His demeanor was sad, but his face was set, determined. "Charlotte?" he called. "Charlotte, where are you?" He peered behind the trees on stage. "She shall come to me presently," he murmured softly, the older language falling haltingly off his tongue. He stepped to the middle of the stage, sitting on a log and brooding. After several second's pause, he began a monologue. "How can I tell her these tidings of war? She will never forgive me for leaving, for forsaking our love." He let out a long sigh. "I must leave her with a token of my affections, lest I ne'er return... But what can reveal the depth of my love? How can I prove my fealty, my intentions?" he wondered aloud, sighing with the weight of the future on his shoulders. Then he looked up, as if he had heard a rustling coming through the woods. Rising, he called once more. "Charlotte? Is that you?" |
Nate was getting very interested. It was a story and a play combined. This was pretty neat. Something someone wouldn't suspect. This would be getting even more interesting the more it went on. Thankfully the bonfire dimmed which relieved some pain on hiis burning back. He looked all around. Then he just stopped and listened. |

Keeping his head low so as to not disturb the play going on on the stage - was that Keefer dressed up as some kind of knight?! - Lewis let his eyes dart around the area for a moment until they fell on Indy who was apparently quite attentatively listening to the story. Quickly making his way over to her, he sat down next to her with a soft "Hey" so as to not startle her. "What's going on? What did I miss?" He added in a whisper once he was more or less comfortably seated on the ground. |
Zhenya was listening to the story when something went click. She gasped quietly! Was THIS the story Kurumi had briefly mentioned at the Balloon sleepover? She could hardly sit still she was so excited. Zhenya LOVED scary stories! And more than just that, sharing them around the bonfire would be the best. She sat up, more alert, looking all around trying to see something. Would this be the night they came out?? |
Logan sat on his blanket, smiling. He really was enjoying these little....night-time things. But he felt a little uneasy about...that...forbidden forest. He heard the Arcomatula at the Vegetable Patch say something was in there, and that the Arcomatula would not go back until that something was gone. Well, somebody better get rid of that...that something quick, Logan didn't like the thought of all the creatures of the forest wandering around...the thought makes him shudder. Logan told himself to stop worrying about it, this was supposed to be fun! He shifted on his blanket to get more comfortable, and listened to the play/story thing. |
Evelyn raised an eyebrow. Okay, well..she was interested in the story so far and the guy who just entered the stage was quite convincing as well. However, at the moment, she was more scared of the creatures that might escape the forbidden forest nearby. Especially when it was so dark. Anyway, she ran a hand through her hair before she stretched her legs out in front of her and rested her elbows on the ground, her eyes on the stage. |
Minerva had pulled a book out and was off to the side away from the story. She wanted to be by the fire, but hated scary stories, so she kept to herself reading her own story by the fire. She glanced up to see all the terrified students watching the story and then turned back to her own book. |
Anyone? ... What? This. Was. Weird. Very very weird! First Treyen starts telling a story and now... there was a performance! Well, good for storytime! He liked storytime! Especially ones about ghosts and scary things. He usually sat by Anya and would be the one reassuring her back in their old school. And speaking of Anya... where was that best friend of his? Alec dug his hands deeper into the pockets of his hoodie as he looked at the guy on the stage carefully. This guy looked... familiar. Very familiar. Who would be prancing around on the stage like that? Whoever he was, he was good. Alec furrowed his brows ad he watched the guy on the stage, who was now speaking. Yeah... he didn't understand what that guy was saying. He did seem to mention a girl called Charlotte. Who was Charlotte? And what did she have to do with the story? Unless... this was what Treyen was talking about... ... This was going to be an interesting storytime! |
Logan felt really scared now. It was dark out. And the creatures of the Forbidden Forest could be wandering around the grounds right at this very moment. And not just any creatures. GIANT. SPIDERS. Logan suddenly began shaking terribly, turning really white. He wanted to go...go back to the castle. Where it was safe. He could just hear a large spider breathing on his neck. He quickly glanced behind himself...just to check. Nothing. He then turned back to the stage, and pulled his knees up to his chest and began rocking back and forth, telling himself quietly that it'd be okay. |

anyone? who doesn't mind sitting at the faaar back? XD Daichi wondered why he was here. He really did. Because for one thing, he is afraid of fire ever since he was seven years old after that one dreadful night. And yes, he was trembling as when had found out that the Prefects had decided to give a bonfire party and still...he was here. Maybe it was because he was curious or maybe because he didn't want anyone to find out he was scared of fire? Either way, the Slytherin did not come close to the fire as he sat far away from his other school mates and he looked sick if anyone could notice him. The fire did give away some warmth which was the only good thing about that...that....scary evil killing fire. Daichi sat down on the grass because he didn't want to come close to grab a blanket and started to rip the grass out of the ground with his hands. As he heard someone talk about spirits and revenges Daichi wondered if this was the same thing Kurumi had told him at the sleep over party. Heh, he smiled a little at her playful "you protect me right?" and looked at the fire as it suddenly dimmed down? He frowned first but then jumped in shock and let out a loud yelp when the torches suddenly started flaming. He didn't even hear what the Prefect was telling on the stage as he breathed heavily from the faaaaaaaar back. And then he heard someone on stage calling a girl named Charlotte, who was that? he wondered until he realised that it was part of the story telling. |
Laura looked around, she hadn't seen any of her friends yet and so she had just been sat quietly wondering what was going on and wondering why Treyen was telling them a story hopefully it wouldn't be a bad story of she would tell him off. |

"Hey Laura!" she whispered, with her teeth clattering together in shivers. |
After finding the indicated marshmallows, Sky stuck a few on a skewer and hurried over to the log seating. She made it just as the story was started and quickly found seat, sticking her marshmallow skewer over the fire. She was listening closely (she loved ghost stories!) when the torches lit up on the stage and someone walked out. Awesome, visualization! The stage had her full attention now… |

She yawned and sat while listening to the stories being told. She didn't normaly get scared of these kinds of things because she knew better than to really pay attention to them. |

Taylor walked down to the lake for the bonfire. She had her robes tucked around her tightly, to keep the freezing air away. Tay was smiling and was excited for the night's events. |

Anakin only recently heard about the BOOfire from Vashti, and he knew he was running a few minutes late. The boy was feeling self conscious about that, but no one would notice anyways. He just had to keep reminding himself of that. YUP. No one was going to be paying attention to what he was doing. Spotting the dimmed fire and the group of people around it, Anakin crept in between the people, getting close enough to where he could hear Keefer from onstage. His hearing wasn't perfect, obviously, so he couldn't just sit in the very back. That would have been too much strain to try and catch every word. He could hear, yes, but he still had to be conscious about his limits. Curling his legs underneath him Indian style, Anakin peered up at the stage, alternating from glancing from Keefer, who seemed to be giving a monologue on stage, and the Head Boy who appeared to be in charge of the whole ordeal. |

"But... I don't want him to mess about. I want the real ghosts to come and scare us! Maybe tonight will be the night we see them!" she was excited though. |
