On the outskirts of the grounds a giant purple tent has been pitched up in the knee deep snow by the groundskeeper to host Professor Roslund’s latest fun incentive. Pack up your telescope and put on your night clothes and come out to the grounds for a fun time with balloon gazing, some food and candy, music and the joyful company of your peers and professors. Remember to dress sensibly since it will most definitely be a cold night. In the center of the festive tent Professor Roslund can be found in his navy blue night robes putting up decorations with the help of his helpers Kurumi Hollingberry and Beatrice Castell who came up with the sleepover idea originally.
Along the walls of the roomy tent a number of pots which give off heat are put up to keep the cold at bay. Around the tent Professor Roslund has enchanted lamps to light up the tent. On the floor a sufficient amount of bean bags, sleeping bags, tables and benches are scattered out over the center of the ground which is covered with warm rugs. Feel free to strike up some light conversation about astronomy or whatever could tickle your fancy on a magical night like this as you eat and be merry together or use your telescopes to spot some balloons. The whole right side of the tent has been cleared to allow for students as well as visiting professors to put up their telescopes and spot some balloons still floating about or maybe an elusive constellation.
Along the left wall you’ll find the food and drink section which mainly consists of sandwiches, salads, candy, hot coca and tea. You shouldn’t have skipped the food in the great hall but if for some reason you skipped dinner there is enough to quench even a starving 7th year boy.
OCC: All SS & School rules apply. This is a party not a lesson. Have fun, meet and interact with new or old users. You will not receive any house points for any balloons you may spot, but a sense of pride and accomplishment for succeeding in what you do.

Kurumi smiled and giggled...until she turned bright pink when Alyssa mentioned sleeping side-by-side with people from other houses. She...hadn't thought about that. Chances were that Jonathan wouldn't be coming to the party considering how much of a fan of the great outdoors he was not and how he preferred to sleep in his own bed, but the thought still made her cheeks flush and hair turn pick.

Kurumi quickly threw her hood over her head. "Sure is...cold," she said with a very forced smile. Nice recovery Hollingberry, not. "Well, Professor Roslund and Beezus helped, so it wasn't all me." Sure, she had suggested it to the Astronomy professor at the end of the lesson, but she hated to see so many balloons go to waste.
"Okay, thanks!" Logan said glancing at the sleeping bags and then back at Kurumi. He waved at her. "I'm gonna go get some coco. See ya around." he said smiling as he left to go get some coco.

Ella nodded at Logan, smiling. She then turned her attention to the Professor who was speaking to the entire group now. She was excited to get started and couldn't help but bounce a bit as he spoke.
Ella smiled, itching to go set up her telescope. She looked at the people she was standing with, giving them a *well, what are we waiting for?* look. When no one moved, she smiled. "Well, I'm going to go set up my telescope. Anyone want to join me?"
As Ella headed towards her telescope she heard a familiar voice. Where did she know that voice from? Oh right, it was Beatrice! Her group member from Herbology. She smiled and waved in her direction. "Hi Beatrice! Nice night, huh?"
Logan smiled back at Ella and then looked at the sweets table. "Okay...just a few." he thought to himself as he strutted over to the table and grabbed some (A LOT) of sweets and went back to Ella, smiling. OKAY. Maybe that was more than he needed but so what? He was a sugar addict! He let out a giggle and didn't even care this time.

Taylor nodded, trying to hold back a giggle, "That is an interesting way of practicing then." She laughed and when Logan said he has been working out, she raised an eyebrow and smirked at him, "Oh have you now?" Tay laughed at her friend and smiled.

Smiling at Professor Roslund, Lily nodded at his comment about the perfect night. "I will do that, Professor. I'm hoping to be able to find Orion... My dad always used to point that constellation out to us." Lily replied before the professor gave his speech. It sounded like it would be a good night, and maybe a chance to meet someone new, or catch up with other friends/acquaintances.

Ella looked through her telescope once more, turning it to face the lake. She loved the lake and thought it looked quite pretty under the stars and surrounded by snow. Just then she saw something floating in the air. Another balloon! "Gotcha!" she said aloud, to no one in particular.

Oh hi Kurumi! Beezus gave her a wide smile. Something seemed a bit odd about the Prefect though, she wasn't her usual cheery self. But she quickly shoved the idea when she smiled at her. Maybe the change was a figment of her cookie-invaded imagination? "Me? Cold? Well..not really. At least not yet." But if ever she did get cold, her sweater was back at her backpack inside the tent. All she needed to do was get it. Ehhhh? She was not handing out the treats? Her bad for not seeing clearly what she was doing then. "Then I'll just hand out the treats," she offered and grabbed a tray and with the use of a tissue took some cookies from the boxes.
She was about to hand out the cookies when suddenly.. GHOST STORIES?!
"I--errr.." Okay, so she was kinda scared of those kind of things. And because of that, her supposed to be handing out of treats to her fellow schoolmates resulted in her taking a large cloth from somewhere, settled it on the grassy ground, sat down on it and faced Kurumi as she began her story-telling. And it started...EEEEEPPPPPP! Two ghosts that used to be lovers and returns every thousand years. "T-thaat..can't be true.." she mumbled nervously. "And if it was, then the ghosts shouldn't be that scary right?" Considering, they had their own House Ghosts and they're not that scary at all.
"Oh I'm doing well, just trying to keep up with homework and quidditch, and gobstones. It's a busy year this year." Minerva then blushed a bit that was a name she hadn't heard in a long time. "Oh goodness no. That ended last term. I'm actually with Justin now. He is a second year puff as well." she smiled. Then she heard her say about ghost stories. "Well I will catch you later I'm going to go back to my telescope. Ghost Stories are not my thing."

She peered through the telescope and was satisfied with the view, so sat back and watched as the others started to set up theirs.
Minerva laughed a bit. "Yes I can see him running around here like a crazy person. It would have been fun to watch though. So you ready for the first match? "

"Oh helloooo Angelina!!!!!"Cardigan said,her eyes as wide as saucers as she waved enthusiastically.Oh gosh!She was starting to sound like the crazy Slytherin prefect!That was...great!!!She felt like she could run a marathon!But there was no time for marathons at the moments.There were balloons waiting to be "saved".Always help a "person" in need!

"Why thank you. I try." Logan said grinning and bowing his head a little and looking back at her as she ruffled his hair. He laughed and smiled. "Well thank you!" He said.
"Oh I'm doing well, just trying to keep up with homework and quidditch, and gobstones. It's a busy year this year." Minerva then blushed a bit that was a name she hadn't heard in a long time. "Oh goodness no. That ended last term. I'm actually with Justin now. He is a second year puff as well." she smiled. Then she heard her say about ghost stories. "Well I will catch you later I'm going to go back to my telescope. Ghost Stories are not my thing."
Minerva smiled when she saw Justin. "I wasn't sure you were coming or not. Yes I have found a few actually, but I've been just hanging out with everyone as well." She wrapped herself tighter in her blanket from the cold.
Minerva laughed a bit. "Yes I can see him running around here like a crazy person. It would have been fun to watch though. So you ready for the first match? "
Minerva saw Laura come in and hadn't talked to her in awhile. "Hey Laura, how are you?"
Minerva saw Butterfly sit alone and she smiled at her "Hey Butterfly, how are you this evening?"
"Oh, hey." She said quietly after putting a good lens on her telescope.
Logan laughed. "Well chocolate is amazing!" He said with a smile.

Sophie came skipping with her telescope in her hands. Sleepover partyyy, WOOP! She glanced around, trying to find someone she knew. If she didn't know anyone... she could fix that in no time.
She saw some of her Hufflepuff friends and waved at all of them. She saw Slytherin and Gryffindor friends as well and greeted them. Funny, just now she realized she didn't have any real friends in Ravenclaw, only acquaintances. Time to change that!

She smiled as Cardigan returned with lots and lots of chocolate. She must really love it! Ella was more of a caramel fan but chocolate covered caramel was delicious!
Seeing Sophie enter the tent she smiled, waving. "Hey Sophie! Happy to see you here!"
