She shurged and went back and sat in her orignal desk, she really didn't feel like playing the game.

Once Lily had attempted to figure out how to find her personal day number, she decided to attempt to join in the game they were playing. So she got up and stood by a desk, starting out by telling people that she was an eight. (ooc: I don't know how to put a picture in a post yet, so it will be bolded and underlined)

Keefer spotted fresh meat someone to tag. Almost everyone seemed to be a seven currently, so he couldn't miss this opportunity. He crept around the circle until he was directly behind a Ravenclaw. He whispered in her ear, "Boo!" then tagged her. "Welcome to Team Seven! I'm Keefer, by the way." He gave her a smile.

Minerva decided it was time to leave the table. She quietly walked out in the middle of the floor watching around as the others were tagging each other..

Spotting Minnie in the middle of the floor, Ella darted to her as fast as she could. "TAGGGG! Gotcha Min, you're a seven now!" She smiled at her friend before running for the hills for fear of being tagged herself.

Minerva giggled when Ella tagged her. "Ok" she thought about a date..

Hmmm if I use the 4 and my personal number is 3 "4+3=7 so I'm picking the 4th." Minerva looked around for someone to tag.

So it seemed 7 was majority again. Sophie was still in the middle of the room, waiting for someone to tag her. Since no one seemed to want to tag her, she decided to tag someone herself!

Walking up to a firstie like her, she smiled. "Hello! I'm Sophie!" she said touching one of the girl's shoulders. "Nice to meet you! Tag!"

Lily watched around as others in the class were getting tagged or tagging someone, when a boy came up behind her and whispered in her ear. "Ye...ah!!" Turning around, Lily saw the boy, though he had already tagged her. "Thanks?... Nice to meet you Keefer, I'm Lily." She said smiling back at the puff. "Now I have to do some calculations right...9+16=25... 2+5=7. Ok, I'll take the 16th to make my number seven."

Auggie had been standing along the edge of the room hand on the safe desk as he watched the other students playing the game around him. At first the lion was confused but not he seemed to understand what was going on.

Quickly August took off into the center of the room where he saw Kurumi standing unprotected. He reached out his hand to tag her. "Aha! Got your!" He stuck out his tongue slyly and then ran back to the safe desk.

Watching as the students seemed to finally be getting the hang of it, even practicing a bit too, she wondered for a vague moment if they picked up on the fact that there were MULTIPLE days that one would have the same personal day number. Every nine days, to be precise. But enough of her contemplating....

"Yes, but I got you," Fina said, tapping the Gryffindor's shoulder - hopefully before he reached the desk - and holding up her own personal day number for the 17th:

Kurumi was beginning to wonder if that game was going to end early since there was an overwhelming amount of sevens when, out of nowhere, she felt someone tag her. Turning around, she saw August...sticking his tongue out at her and scampering off. Maybe she needed to reconsider her lion little brother selection?

Not wanting to get tagged again - like last time when she had been tagged something like 4 times in the span of a few moments, Kurumi ran over to a desk and put her hand on it. Safe for now, she could start her calculations.

Okay, so her Personal Month Number was 6, and she needed to add a date in October to make her Personal Day Number...9. Why couldn't August have been a 4 or a 6?

Thinking a bit, Kurumi checked some dates in her head. October 17, today, gave her a Personal Day Number of 5... since (1+7)+6 = 8+6 = 14 = 1+5 = 6, so she needed to go up a few more or down, but going up was more of a challenge.

"October 21," she said, becoming a 9 right there on the spot. (2+1)+6 = 9!

Ella saw that the Professor had just tagged a student and she started to fiddle with the idea of tagging her. Will I lose points if I tag the Professor? Nah, I'm sure she would enjoy being included...or would she? Oh Merlin, here I go! Ella ran up to the professor and carefully tapped her on the arm. "Erm-Professor, I um-tag! You're a seven now." She smiled sheepishly at the Professor, hoping she wouldn't be angry.

Just as August was clearing in on the safe desk he was tagged on the shoulder from behind and he turned to see Professor Hadley. "Aw man!" he said with a sigh.

Eyeing looking up as he thought of the day he needed in order to make a 3 the Gryffindor finally decided that October 11th would do.

"October 11!" This would work because (1+1) + 1 = 3

Auggie then went out to see if there was anyone else he could tag.

Kurumi stepped off the desks again and ran for the nearest person to her which, sadly, wasn't August, but would have to do. Reaching out, Kurumi tagged the younger Puff while she was busy with Professor Hadley. "Tag," she chirped, scampering off to find someone else.

AHA! There he was!

Kurumi ran towards August, unaware that her shoe lace was coming undone right there on the spot. "I've got you...WOOOOOOOOOAH!" Kurumi fell forward in a surprisingly graceful swan dive onto the floor, missing August completely. Erm...floor...tag? It was a 9 now?

I hope I'm right...
 

Minerva ran to Kurumi "Tag Kurumi your a Seven now." Minerva smiled happy she tagged someone finally.

Just as she was watching carefully to see if August was going to have to calculate the day in October when his personal day number was a three, or whether he was safe, she felt someone touch her arm. Startled, she blinked and then smiled at the sweet puff. "A seven, eh? Well I guess I better figure out what day would give me a seven..." Perhaps she should have tapped a seven instead of a nine, since there was an overwhelming amount of sevens. Whoops.

17th = 3; 18 = 4; 19th = 5; 20th = 6; Which makes it October 21st, my personal day number would be seven.

After being tagged by Professor Hadley, August took off to find someone else to tag. He was looking all over the place and was seeing many sevens, there were too many of them.

Then he turned to see Kurumi diving madly at him out of nowhere. He quickly sepped back and watched as she missed and landed on the ground. He chuckled and then slowly leaned down and poked her on the head.

"Got'cha!" he then scampered off away from the Prefect. He was as pleased as a peach!

Ella looked up and smiled. "Man!" She laughed as she ran back to safety where she could figure out the calculation in peace. Okay so 8+19 is 27 and 2+7=9! "October 19th!" Ella announced to no one in particular and then headed off into the middle of the classroom once more.

Jezzabelle gave a high pitch squeak and turned to the person who poked her in the back. So not cool. She sighed, a little frustrated at the math that she would have to do. So she was now a 7, correct. Well 7 (personal month) plus what would level out to seven. (18) + (7) broke down to (9) + (7) which came out to 16 which became...7. So therefore, tomorrow's personal day number would be seven.

Well, that was short lived. Still lying on the ground, Kurumi decided to just stay there while she calculated in her head. Since the 21st had given her a 9...

Pushing herself off the ground now, she saw a rather sad looking Jezz. Why? With so many sevens around she shouldn't feel sad because they were a big family! Still, Kurumi was more than happy to take the seven away from her and scampered over towards the cublet and tagged her on the shoulder.

"You're a three now!"

Ella jumped as Minnie tagged her and ran off. "Back on team seven then, huh?!" She smiled and quickly figured out what day would work to get a seven outcome. Alright 8 (personal month number) + 8 = 16 and 1+6 is 7! "October 8th!" She said aloud as she ran to safety.

O__o Now she needed to do more math. Hmmm... October 14 would land her a three. Jezzabelle smiled up at Kurumi. "Thanks. Who wouldn't want to be a three?" Well, now come to think of it...the number dominating the area was a seven, so maybe not too many people wanted to be threes. She leaned against a desk feeling a little safer.

Josephina continued to watch with her number seven, careful to avoid any students fallen over each other, as she mulled over something in her mind.

And then, without really much of a warning, she whistled. "Alright, anyone who is currently a THREE, now find a day in October which would make your Personal Day Number an EIGHT."

"If you're an EIGHT, then find a day in October which would make you a TWO." Time to change things up a bit, obviously.

Kurumi stopped midstep when Professor Hadley instructed all threes to become eights. But...she had JUST become a three! Couldn't she have told half the sevens to become eights? Oh, wait, sevens were kind of scary because seven ate nine. Hehe. Kurumi laughed in her head at her own wit. Seven eight nine....seven ate nine...hehehe.

Okay, clearly all this running around was getting to her, but she had some thinking to do.

"October 20th," Kurumi mumbled, simply adding five to the previous date she had used to turn herself into a three. She could have subtracted five and gotten the same thing, but, meh, 20 was a nice number.

Easy peasy...almost. Jezzabelle sighed as her number changes again. October 10 would allow for her personal day number to become an 8. So....she was an 8 now.

Alyssa decided that she had enough rest and decided venture back out into the middle of the class. Now that there were other numbers out there, she wanted to tag a non-7. Making sure that her safe desk was nearby, Alyssa stood ready to tag, as well as, to run for safety if she had to. It was cool that the Professor had decided to join in the fun.

After tagging Kurumi, August had reached forward and grabbed ahold of the safe desk and was about to head out back into the tag zone when he turned his attention to Professor Hadley who was making an announcement.

Hmmm...so he was an 8 now? "October 7th would make me an 8!" He said and he was now one of them. The Gryffindor left his safe place and took off to go tag someone.

Sierra had just finished calculating her Personal Day Number, when the professor started in on the instructions for a game. Oh, wait. A game?! This just might have the potential to make Arithmancy for her. The instructions seemed easy enough, so when the game began, Sierra hurried to the middle of the floor. She had a number eight. Now. Who to tag?!

And there was Sophie... still in the middle of the room... being a number 7...
She liked this number, but she was stuck with it since... well, since a long time ago. She failed all of her attempts to tag someone else and now she would just wait to be tagged and finally change numbers. She stood still, looking around calmly. "Someone tag me, please!" she thought, not saying it out loud.

Oooooh! Tag! How fun was that?! Magic school was pretty much the most amazing thing EVER! There were moving giraffe rides, capture the flag, and now TAG!

But first to calculate her numbers. She stuck her tongue out of the side of her mouth and quickly got to work. A few seconds later her head popped up and she smirked. Now it was game time!

And then she found someone! "Taggggg." she said tapping the girl. "You're a one now." she said before giggling and fleeing in a different direction.

Sophie turned her head quickly and saw when a young Gryffindor girl tagged her. "FINALLY!" she thought, opening a big smile. Shen started running towards a desk to calculate without being tagged again, but stopped before actually doing so. She has started as a number one! So the day now would be the 17th, obviously! Still, Sophie liked math, so onto the calculusss!!



She looked around to see if she could tag anyone now. "Less number sevens noow!" she thought, starting to run towards the same girl she had tagged before. She reached out her hand and touched the girl's arm. "Tag again, ma'am! You're a number 1 now!" she smiled and skipped away.

Kurumi spun around when she heard the infectious giggle of someone who could only be a certainly little lion. Kurumi had heard great things about her from Selina when it came to tryouts and it looked as though the little Carter was just as quick on her feet as she was on a broom.

So THAT is why she was able to get up on that giraffe before anyone knew what was going on..

Kennedy saw a swirl of different color robes moving across the room. His head was already spinning, not because of his classmates, but because of the numbers and calculations he would have to be doing. He already proved that Arithmancy wasn't his top subject, but he DID want good marks.

Hades quietly sneaked around and even tip-toed at times. Whenever someone was within five feet from him, he'd lightly placed his finger on the desks. Blue eyes looked around the room for people without the purpleness. Then, he saw his own house prefect whom he fought alongside during Charms lesson. "Tagggg~" whispered Hades as he poked the other boy's waist.

Ira was lurking in the sidelines ans searching for her potential target to tag when she found a boy in the middle tagging another. And he was a number 4! So yes, she could tag him.

So she softly went towards him from behind his back and patted him on the shoulder. "You're tagged number 7!" she said to him

Skip skip skip. Time to return the favor! Kurumi rushed over to Ira and tagged the center of her back. "No more 7 for you!"

Kurumi ran off, running in a zigzag pattern to make it harder to tag her.

Ira was just reveling in her success in tagging, when it seemed as if from nowhere Kurumi came and tagged her! So, now she was a number 8.

Psst! Now she had to do some maths. Okay so her personal month number was 7 and so she needed just 1 to make it 8. So 10 would equal 1. And then 7+1 would equal 8. So her date would be 10th October!

Now she needed to go and tag someone as number 8!

So, she was tug. She calculated quickly in her head, "14th of October," She murmured to herself, (1+4)+8=13 1+3=4. Glenn had seen this boy around school, if she remembered right, he was a prefect. Yes, Glenn eyes darted to his badge, he was a prefect, Slytherin prefect.

She skipped away and waited for an opportunity to tag someone a number four.

Ira saw a boy out of the corner of her eye, the boy she had tagged earlier, making his way to the side desks for protection discreetly. ho o! Ira wouldn't give him rest or rather she wasn't in a mood to let him go lightly!

So, she went over quietly and poked him in the small of his back lightly and said, "Tag! You're number 8!"

Ahh! She was tug again. "Hey Ira," Glenn smiled. She worked out the calculations in her head, "18th of October," She murmered, (1+8)+8=17 1+7=8. She turned away from Ira and eyed the desks before deciding not to take a time out and went to a different side of the room. She was determined to tag someone.

By now, Ira was becoming a bit bore from this game.. She looked around and saw that not many students were playing the game in the center. So, deciding to take some rest, Ira eyed the sidelines. Yup, she would just while away he time there till professor proceeds with the lesson, she thought.

Thinking so, Ira skipped back to the desks and touched it, and stood there leaning against it, looking at others.

Usually he's alert, but when his brain felt all fuzzy and stuff...well, it took him more time to be aware of who was approaching him. Like now. Kennedy turned around just in time to be tagged by a young snake.

He laughed and nodded. Two to seal the tag, yes? "Okay, you got me," he said.

There, while the boy she herself had tagged 7 earlier was doing calculations, Ira left the desks and went near him and poked him. "Oops! Now you're number 8! Tag!" Saying so, she grinned at him. She was getting some fun by making people do some more maths!

It was tagging time...since he's already been tagged twice.

It wouldn't be much fun if he kept using desks as a refuge. Time to play...

...Then he was tagged again and by the same Gryffindor. Hehe, that was cute she remembered him, though she did tag him a minute ago. "Oh no!" he said in a dramatic voice. "More calculations it is," he laughed.

He got this. 21. (2+1) = 3. 3+5 = 8.

Alyssa looked at everyone at her safe desk and realized that all of them were 8s. Weren't there any other left? 'Hahaha....looks like Professor Hadley is going to have to join us again and give us different numbers again.

Until then she hung out in the middle of the floor again, hoping that someone would come along that was not an 8 that she could tag.

Aha! A new number had entered the mix! Kurumi pushed herself off the desk she had been leaning against, once again forgetting to tie her shoelace, and trotted over towards her Flying older sister. Vashti had helped her a lot her first year, too bad that it had now all gone to waste.

Pesky shoe laces. Kurumi toppled over again in front of Vashti, face planted into the ground.

It didn't take a lot of looking around for Vashti to spot her first victim someone who wasn't a 4. Coming up behind Alyssa, Vashti reached out her hand and tapped her on the shoulder. "Tag! You're a four now!" she said with a grin. She started to turn and head off in search of another person to tag...

Ira was still looking around for some more fun, when suddenly someone fell down! Thud! Who was it? Ira turned and saw Kurumi. Down on the floor.

Ira hurried over to her. "Kurumi!" she asked, "How did you fall down? Are you hurt or something?" But she looked alright, but you never know! "Take my hand, get up! You can get up, right?" Ira was just a little scared. She actually didn't know what to do next! Should she call professor?

Zhenya had been tagged a 1, and her personal month number was a 2. So - what day would it be to give her the personal day number of 1?

8th of October - that would mean 2+8=10 and 1+0 is 1!!

She walked back in to the middle of the game and sneezed into her tissue.

Kurumi picked her face up off the floor and flashed Vashti a smile. "I'm sure," she nodded. This was the second time she had done this so far. She really should tie her shoe lace. Okay...so now what number was she?

"October 16," Kurumi said to herself. That would give her a Personal Day Number of 4 since she had started off with a 5.

Now with her new number, Kurumi giggled when Ira ran over to help her. "I'm perfectly fine," she laughed, pushing herself off the ground and dusting herself off a bit. She then glanced at Ira and a mischievous grin appeared on her lips.

"Thank you for your concern though," she said with a soft pat on the girl's shoulder. "And now you are a 4."

Anyways she started with her calculations. Personal month number was 7, so then she need6 to make it 13 which would equal 4. So 24th October would be perfect! 2+4 is 6, then 6+7 is 13. And then, 1+3 is 4! So there was her date!

So now she was a number 4. She needed to find people to tag!

Alyssa waited in the middle of the floor waiting to tag anyone who wasn't a non-8. She kept an eye on her safe zone but then noticed that her shoe lace was untied, so bent down to tie it again.

Zhenya took the tissue from Alyssa, "Thanks!" she said, smiling at her. She dabbed at her nose before working out what number it would be... So, personal month number of 1, and I need an 8? So the 7th! October 7th! She worked it out and was starting to walk back to her safe zone to put some cream on her lips.

"Tag!" Ira yelled in Alyssa's ears. "You're number 4!" she said excitedly, as she poked Alyssa's bent back!

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Sophie thought, almost kneeling down on the floor and throwing her arms up, looking up to face the ceiling. She just didn't do that because it would be too dramatic. But that was really what she felt like doing. "Not seven again!" she frowned. Oh well, onto the calculus.



Sophie walked to a desk to rest a little. And enjoy a bit more being a seven again... sigh.

Ira saw Sophie too wandering around. She decided that Sophie would be her next target.

"Enjoying being number 7?" Ira asked her, "Tag! Be a number 4 now!" Saying so, Ira skipped away from her to avoid being tagged by others!

"Whaaa.....I was tying my shoe lace...no fair."Alyssa smiled before accepting the fact that she had let her guard down and let someone else tag her instead. So she was a four.

Since her Personal Month Number was 7, she would pick the 15th

15 = 6
6+7 = 13
1+3= 4

Now that she was a 4, Alyssa decided that she might as well finish tying her shoe lace before going to the safe desk for the 4's

Glenn saw Kurumi getting up from the ground and tagging Ira, she noticed that she was a four, Glenn could tag her.

She skipped over and patted her lightly on the shoulder, "Tag!" She said, "You are now an eight." Glenn grinned mischievously, she remembered Kurumi from the Capture the Flags game.

Now that both her shoe laces were properly tied, Alyssa decided that she might as well stay in the middle and see whether she could tag any non-4's. There weren't many students left out there to tag but she was determined to at least get one of them.

Zhenya walked out into the middle of the room and poked Glenn - not a TAG poke, but a hello poke. Glenn was the same number as she was.

No sooner was Kurumi up off the ground that another pair of hands found her and she turned around to see the persistent and dedicated little Hufflepuff who had chased her, Kennedy, and Adam down in Capture the Flag.

Thinking for a moment, Kurumi counted on her fingers, going down this time on the number scale to get a date that worked to give her an 8. "October....12," she smiled as she waved good bye to her 4 and became an 8 once more.

"Hello again, Glenn," she laughed, looking over her shoulder at the younger girl.

Kurumi then walked over to Alyssa and.... *POKE*

Glenn turned to see who had poked her and found herself standing by Zhenya, one of the girls that Glenn had first talked to on the Hogwarts Express in her first year but hadn't really talked to much after that.

"En!" Glenn said, smiling, "I haven't talked to you in ages!"

This game was rather fun, and Amelia was enjoying it though sometimes she wanted to head back to the free zone. But then she was tapped by the same girl again. Oh, fun.

"October 1!" she said immediately. Okay, so that was was pretty obvious, but it was still the right answer.

Standing by the 'safe zone' for long was not as fun. Louisa moved away from the desk and placed her hand on the closest girl, "You're number six now, dear." She smirked. Oh! look! It was Ellie's friend from the movie... well, hiii. Hehe.

Scampering away from the spot she had been standing in, Kurumi shuffled her feet over to where Louisa was standing and jump tagged her - placing both hands on her shoulders. "Tag!" she chirped.

Louisa was about to move on tagging other victims peoples when someone tackle!tagged her. O.o She recognized the hight-pitched chirp though. Flashing a smile at the Prefect, she thought out loud, "Err.. right.. so I have to be eight... err... October 1st." Because her month number was seven... yeah.
Well, it wasn't that hard! Way easier than the code spells they learnt last year.

Ira saw Kurumi and Louisa talking, probably one had tagged another! So Ira crept up from behind their back and yelled, "Tag!! You are now number 4!"

Louisa jumped.. literally when someone yelled from behind her. With her cheeks flushed from the surprise, she turned around and saw a younger Gryffindor. Well. That explained the hyper enthusiasm. Why were students so energetic about this game, again? It wasn't like the sporty kind of activity that one gets their adrenaline boosting. It was numbers game.

With a chuckle, she nodded, "I think I am. Err.. October 6." Which makes a 13 if added to her month number 7. So.. yeah..

Minerva saw someone just get tagged, but not go to a safe zone so she quickly when over to her. "Hello" she smiled "tag your an eight now."

...whao! Another tag. Haha, it seemed like the students couldn't wait until Louisa was away from the neutral zone. Ahem. Well, that was a bit.. self-centered? Or something. However, she was starting to actually enjoy the game. And the maths.

"Hi." Replying to the younger Huffie before smirking, "Back to eight, I see." She paused, doing the math before announcing, "October 4." Hehe, the easiest.

Ella found another girl who had just been tagged and ran over. "Hi! Tag, you're a 7 now!" She smiled and ran away from the girl, dodging several classmates in the process.

Oh...back to being another number now. It always seemed that just as Kurumi got used to one number, she was tagged and had to become another one. Never ending vicious VICIOUS cycle.

"October 16," she mused. Now becoming a 4.

Now now, Louisa needed a break from all the number changing! At least, Kurumi felt so. It was tiring having to readjust everything in your brain several times within the span of only a few minutes.

Minerva laughed as she was tagged. Well she had a good run with 8. Hmm four let's see if I take 10 and do 1+0=1, then do 1+3 that is 4. Ok my new day is the 10th. She smiled as she looked around for someone else to tag.

Oh! A quick girl, and a rather naughty one too tagging and running away. Louisa grinned and nodded, "October 8." Because 8 + 8 = 16, that would be 7 in the end.

Running to the Huffie that had tagged her before, Louisa slapped her hand on the girl's shoulder playfully, "You're tagged my friend. Seven." Mmm.

Ella jumped when she was tagged. She turned with a smile and headed for the safety zone. Alright, number 4...Well 8+5 is 13. 13 would work out to 1+3 and that equals 4! "October 5th!" She smiled and ran back out into the middle, eager to tag someone.

Minerva laughed as she was tagged again. 'Ok, Ok paybacks I guess." Now a seven, let's see. If I take the number 22 2+2=4 then 4+3 I get seven. "Ok my new day is the 22nd. She smiled and went looking for someone.

Oh, wow. Amelia sure felt pretty popular because people kept tagging her. She smiled at the girl who she recognised as one of Ellie's friends. The girl from the movie night.

"Right... six." She did a few fast calculations in her head now:
9 + 24 => (0 + 9) + (2 + 4)
= (9) + (6)
= 15 => (1 + 5)
= 6

Lily's head was spinning. There were so many people all over the place. Seeing a puff, Lily came over and tagged her. "Now you're a seven." Lily said looking around for anyone else to tag.

Seeing that Kurumi was alright, Vashti smiled and moved away to go find someone new to tag. It was then that she spotted Louisa, who seemed to be a Seven right now. Not for long.

"Tag!" Vashti said as she tapped the girl on the shoulder. "You're an eight now."

No sooner had Sierra gotten good and involved in the game, she was, technically, tagged--by Professor Hadley at that! She froze in place, trying to find a number that would change her from an eight to a two... There were people dashing around the room left and right, causing more distraction than anything. At least, to Sierra that is.

A two... A two... She needed to become a two... Hmm...

"October 2!" she thought to herself. Right?!

9 + 2 = 11
1 + 1 = 2

Yup, October 2! So, ...right. She was now a 2.

Another non-seven! This was not acceptable, not at all. Hadley had ruined the correct balance in the world. He began to run toward Sierra, but with no attempt at stealth. She saw him coming and ran away, but he was too fast for her. "Gotcha!" he said, tapping her on the back of her shoulder. "You're a Team Seven member now!"

Whaaaaa? Well, if the Head Girl herself said so. Grinning widely at her friend, Louisa winked, "October 10."

This was getting quite exciting! Moving her eyes to another Ravenclaw, a familiar one too, Louisa's grin didn't falter as she trotted over to the girl and gave her a gentle pat on the shoulder.

"Tag! You're an eight now!" Moving around to face Lily, she smirked, "How ya doing little Lily?" Yep, they knew each other from the feast and all. The shy little girl, she was, right? Uh-huh.

The question wasn't really an attempt to chat though, since they were in a classroom still but Louisa wanted to joke around with the younger eagle. After tagging Lily, she looked around for more to tag. And maybe getting tagged in return? Yeah, that sounded right.

Sierra didn't have to worry about that for too long, though, because just as she whirled around to survey the room, some Puffer came running up to her and tapped her right on the back of the shoulder. She hissed at him, realizing she now had more work to do.

A seven. Now she needed to be a seven.

Okay, hmm. How about--"October 7?" she wondered.

1 + 6 = 7

Yup, that made her a 7!
