He was supposed to be patient, today, wasn't he?

That didn't stop him from taking his hand off one of the desks and moving on to the one girl that was pretty much turning the whole class into one number. Granted, if it was going to be any other number, it might as well be HIS.

"Tag! You're a number two, now." He said, after poking her left shoulder with his hand.

Ella turned and saw the girl who had tagged her only a short time ago. She smiled at her. "Again! You must have it out for me!" Laughing she began to work out the math in her head. (8)+(23)= (8)+(2+3)=(8)+(5)=13=1+3=4...Okay, October 23rd! She found a nice spot within a couple of steps of the safety zone, just incase.

"Yep was just about tired of not being ignored and not getting tagged even though I'm out here in the open. Thanks for tagging me though. So now I'm a seven.

My Personal Month day is 7 so I will need a calendar day of 27th
2+7=9
9+7= 16
1+ 6=7

And Alyssa made her way to the 7 safe desk.

....oh! Back to seven, Louisa returned the girl's smile politely. "October 3!" Hehe, the easiest again.

Louisa moved slightly to the side, not really touching the neutral zone since she still enjoyed this... fine game. In fact, Louisa appreciated all educational games, they were fun and useful. They made the students a bit more witty than they were.

Ella noticed another girl skirting close to the safety zone. She smiled mischievously and skipped up to the girl. "Hi there! You're a four now! Enjoy!" She then took a couple of steps into safety.

Minerva went to the safe zone. She was stumped on finding a calculation for 2. This was going to be harder. She thought in her head, but couldn't come up with any. So she decided to stay in the safe zone thinking for a bit.

Vashti glanced shiftily around the room, searching for someone to tag...but suddenly she felt something poke her arm and someone called "Tag!" Oh Merlin! She turned just in time to see the Gryffindor boy running away. Sneaky! But...what number was she now? She was about to call out to him and ask...

...but she didn't get to because she was immediately tagged by Louisa. Now she was an eight again? Well okay.

"October 12th," she said.

5 + 12
5 + (1+2)
5 + 3
8

Yep, that equaled eight. Now to find someone to tag again...

Louisa was walking toward that safe zone or whatever when someone familiar tagged her with four... again. "Why, thank you." She grinned at the girl before furrowing her eyebrows and doing the math. "October 6."

7 + 6 = 13
1 + 3 = 4



Spotting someone tagging happily with a unique number among all the sevens and eights, Louisa crept up behind the Head Boy and CLASP! her hand on his shoulder, "Tag! You are number four, big buddy," smirking up at him. Hehe, hiii Treyen.

"Tag!" Zhenya said, Tagging Minerva

The hand. That's when he knew that HIS number didn't last long.

Why, it was Louisa!

"Thanks," Wink. Now he had to find the day for this number, didn't he? It should work if he added two days to today, right? The Head Boy went over the calculations in his head.



"October 19th." He said, mostly to himself...but he kept his eyes open for the next victim, yes?

Zhenya, wearing her purple 8, was in the middle. Her mind had been able to practise the formulas and number manipulations so she was keen to try all the numbers out!

Amelia saw a girl standing in the middle and went up to her, tapping her on the shoulder. "Tag! You're a number 3 now." And she ran off.

As Minerva was at the safe zone figure it out she got very excited. If I take the 17th 1+7=8 and then I take my number which is 3 8+3=11 and 1+1 is 2. She jumped up and down happy to have figured it out. My day is the 17th she turned to leave the safe zone and was tagged again. "Really?" she giggled ok... so now eight. Hmmm ok if I take 23 2+3 is 5 and 5+3 is 8. My new day is the 23rd.

Zhenya was startled as she was tapped on the shoulder. But she was glad - more things to solve! A number three, hey? Well... if her month number was a 2, and she needed a 3 - well that was easy! "October first," she said, and donned the Number Three

Minerva saw the girl who tagged her get tagged she went over. "Well so your not an eight anymore." she tapped her shoulder "Tag your an eight again." she smiled and went to find someone else.

Aha! Amelia! Treyen was actually fond of the number three...which is why this hurt just a little bit. Not really.

Tsk, tsk. "Tag! You're a four." He said, as his hand touched her right shoulder. And yet he was still a number four, of course...unless someone wanted to changed that.

Minnie skipped to the head boy. "Now it's my turn... Tag your an 8" she smiled and skipped away.

Oh.

Amelia had just been debating stepping into the free zone when she was tagged by Treyen.

She did a bit of a calculation in her head now:

9 + 13 => (0 + 9) + (1 + 3)
= (9) + (4)
= 13 => (1 + 3)
= 4

"October 13th!" She happily took a number 4 tag now.

The Head Boy was not a seven? This would not do. He ran after Treyen, zigging and zagging between people in the middle. He was so close.... Yes! Contact! "Gotcha, buck-o! Welcome to Team Seven!"

Well, this was all rather fast, wasn't it?

First, he'd been 2, then 4 which lasted longer, and now a number 8? He was moving up. He chuckled...before attempting some calculations on his head...



Mmmhmmm. "So, October 23rd...but it could also be the 5th, or the 14th...," as far as he was concerned.

He was an 8, then?



NOT REALLY. He wasn't an eight anymore. HA.

"Thanks, man," they were on the same team, now? Tsk, tsk, he had to put his hand on the right desk to rest a little bit, plus he had a question to ask Keefer..., "Er....why buck-o?" he'd been confused about it since the first time he heard it...



AGAIN. It could be either October 22nd, or the 13th, or the 4th...or..., "Halloween!" October 31st! Yeah, he was soooo resting with number 7.

Keefer chuckled in victory, also resting up a bit at the safety of the desks. "Sorry, I probably picked that up from my uncle. He's always called me that for as long as I can remember." Hopefully Treyen wasn't upset. That wouldn't do.

"Hope you're ready to convert more people to Team Seven!" Keefer began to scan the chaos, looking for his next victim.

Ella noticed a number seven and smiled. Quietly, she snuck up behind the boy and reached out to tag him. "Here, number 4 for you!" She smiled and walked off into the crowd.

Alyssa decided that she'd have enough rest. So she decided to try one more time to see if she could tag someone or if anyone would tag her.

So she walked into the middle of the class to see what happened. Tag or be tagged.

When Amelia saw Alyssa out in the open, she thought that now would be a perfect time to tag her since the last time she had tried to someone else had got her first.

She tapped the girl on the shoulder. "Tag! You are now a number 5."

Minerva walked up to Ella "Tag again" she laughed "You are now an 8"
