3 - Final Potions Class

Hecate was sitting on her chair tapping her foot on the floor. She was not in the best mood as her husband was away on business and would be for a few days. It was hard being the wife of the Minister of Magic.

Never the less, today would be good.

There were no burners set out, no cauldron, no ingredients...

Laura was feeling very nervous about this lesson and in someway if this Professor got in a fight with a Dragon, she was sure that the Dragon would loose but of course she wasn't going to say anything to the Professor about that. "Good.." Laura started to say then she realised that the Professor was in a bad mood today. "Had a rough day Professor?" Laura asked.

Nate walked into the classroom. It was completely empty except for two people. The professor, and his cousin. He said "Hello professor." Then he sat down. When he looked back at the professor he saw that she wasn't as happy as last class.

Jayden entered the classroom slowly. She never knew what to expect in Professor Lafay's classes. She could only hope that today would be a good one. "Hello Professor!" She greeted the woman, a soft smile forming on her face.

Oakey came into Potions class, He looked around to get a sense of what this lesson would about but there was nothing set out. He looked at Professor Lafay to see if maybe she was up to something, but all he saw was the Potions Mistress looking angry, which wasn't to rare, but this "angry" looked different.

He set his things down and sat of the bare stations. Good Day Professor? He asked.

Vickers rounded the corner into the Potions classroom "Good Morning Professor." the boy smiled politely, noticing that the Professor seem to have gone back to her somber ways. And why was there no ingredients or potions equipment set-up?

*gasp* Was there gonna be a pop-quiz?

The Ravenclaw boy settled down on a seat quickly and started bringing out his Potions parchments for review....

Alyssa quickly entered the classroom and heaved a sigh of relief that she wasn't late. She walked up and greeted the Professor."Hello Professor Lafay." before quickly grabbing a seat at the nearest vacant workstation.

Kurumi made her way to the Potions classroom feeling more nervous than she had before. After her conversation with Professor Lafay in her office, the prefect felt like there was so much pressure on her to succeed and perform nothing less of perfection. Upon entering the classroom, Kurumi froze in the doorway like a mannequin for a full minute before she completed her step and made her way towards her usual station.

She noted that Professor Lafay wasn't looking...as pleasant as she had the previous lesson, and Kurumi felt the pressure even more. Mess up this lesson and Kurumi had the feeling that losing points was going to be the least of her problems. "Professor," she greeted with a polite bow of the head before taking a seat. No burners? What did that mean?

louise walking into the classroom she did a bow to the teacher "how are you you having a good day" she smiled

Ira entered the potions classroom, feeling a bit lethargic. And somehow had already begun feeling a bit gloomy too.

Seeing Professor Lafay, she greeted her, "Hello... Er.." It was then that she saw that there were no cauldrons, no ingredients, nothing... Merlins!! Was there gonna be a surprise written or oral test? She desperately wished that she hadn't come to the class! She had not even touched her potions book since her last class!

Then she remembered that she hadn't yet completed her greeting, so hurriedly she said, "Um.. Hello Professor"

Then she went and took a seat at the back, hoping that she wouldn't get too noticed.

Another potion lesson. Daichi was a bit reluctant to go seeing as what happened at the previous one and he had lost it with all the chocolate in his reach. Not to mention he couldn't forget the angry look on Lafay's face when she had seemed to have warned him multiple times and the Slytherin had been too slow to notice.

He had to drag his feet over the threshold of the classroom and a faint blush had been on his cheeks the whole time. Not because the weather was beginning to get warmer but because he felt a bit embarrassed. "Morning...professor Lafay.." he mumbled and with a quick bow he rushed to a seat.

At the front. Curse his getting-worse-eyesight!

It had been quite a day for her. She hadn't really expected to receive a letter from her cousin that early in the morning and it's content was..Well, something that set her curiosity ablaze. Without so much care about everything currently going on around her, Beatrice stepped inside the Potions classroom, inattentively greeted Professor Lafay, "Hello Professor," and walked to the nearest seat she could find.

Taking a quick glance at the person beside her, she found out it was Daichi. She looked at him for a second and looked down. Just when was the class starting? She really needed something to take her mind off things.

As soon a Jory walked into the Potions classroom, he saw Professor Lafay and know she was in a bad mood. "Good morning, Professor,'' he said and headed off to find a seat.

He kept looking around the room. With no cauldrons or burners, the place looked so... plain. He wondered what today's lesson would be about.

Zhenya walked into the Potions class. The last one of the year! Next year she would be a third year doing Potions. Hopefully with Professor Lafay. She could be mean, yes, but she was a good Professor and Zhenya always learned to much.

"Hello Professor," she said to Professor Lafay. She didn't look as happy as last lesson, so Zhenya didn't really want to be making small talk. She went and sat in a seat close to the front.

Raven was quiet healthy today, her face was slightly pale but she didn't have any headache. She walked to the classroom and stared. It was strange. There were no cauldrons or burners. Does it mean.. theorical test? MERLIN! She wasn't ready!

She tried to be cool. Noticed that Professor Lafay didn't look good, Raven just greeted her short. "Good day, Professor." She thought, after the potion mistress got married with the Minister, she would look happy. But.. that's non of your bussiness, Raven! Suddenly she remembered about her family, school term will end soon but she didn't know why that she was not enthusiast with summer.

Raven noticed her friend was there too. She gave her a tiny smile, but she didn't want to sit beside her. She chose to sit at the back. That's better.

Evelyn entered the Potions classroom, feeling rather depressed and tired. She rather liked this class even if the Professor was a little too abrupt at times. "Professor." Evelyn said, politely. She noticed Lafay looked rather grumpy so she avoided saying anything else. o_O She also noticed that there were no cauldrons or burners in the class. What was that supposed to mean!?

Feeling a little curious and even slightly nervous, Evelyn made her way to the front of the classroom, took a seat and waited for the class to begin.

Silvia entered the classroom and noticed that the tables were empty of their usual potion supplies. "Hello professor," she said as she took a seat, curious as to what they would be doing today.

Hannah walked into the classroom and looked up towards the professor. It seemed that she was not in a good mood today. No matter she thought to herself. We all have bad days and it was none of her business anyways. She gave her a nod and a quick "Hello professor." She made her way to her seat and noticed that they did not have any materials. That's rather odd she thought to herself and couldn't help but to feel a bit nervous.

Ella walked into the potions classroom quickly, happy she wasn't late. She gave the professor a shy smile as she greeted the woman. "Hello Professor, hope you're well." Then she went to find a seat.

So much things were going on with Kimalia today, while entering she hardly took notice in Professor Lafay's supposed mood today. She was here to learn, not socialize.. right? "Good day, Professor." A small smile today, turning to take her usual spot she blinked a few times at the absence of cauldrons.. Hmm..
