Hecate had brought a tray with a few items on them. Flowers, Shellfish, Strawberries, peanuts and other things. Her large cauldron was seated on it's burner, which was not lit, before her.
She was in a good enough mood. Things were going well in her personal life. She just needed to get used to certain things... that would come with time. She opened the classroom, and waited for her students to file in.
ooc: This class will stay open for at least 72 hours (probably more.) Also thanks to Antarctica! for taking the picture of the Potions Classroom for me at the WWoHP, and to Ameh for makin it into a pretty graphic!

The potion was finished, which only meant one thing. It would be time to see if it worked, and she still knew she didn't have any allergies. At least, none that she knew of, and she certainly wasn't as bad off as some of the others in the lesson, which furthered her opinion that she wasn't allergic. Not to anything in the classroom. But Professor Lafay was instructing them to make themselves allergic to something, and that was what she was nervous about. The idea of taking a potion from the professor was a bit frightening, but she was going to face her fear. Besides, she didn't think the potion would make them permanently allergic to anything. Hopefully.
Even so, she felt the need to ask as she picked up a vial from the front and looked over her options. "Will this make us have the allergy permanently? The cure only works for a year, so I was just curious," she said, finally selecting a crab leg and returning to her workstation and her cooling potion. Taking the professor's potion, she let it sit for a moment, then took a tiny bite of the crab. It reminded her of her Muggle Studies homework, but as the itching started and her throat started to close, her eyes widened. Allergies weren't fun. Picking up her ladle, she painfully Scourgified it, then dipped it into her cauldron. Breathing would be nice around now, so she took a sip even before she could pour the potion into a glass. As her throat opened up the tiniest bit and she calmed down, she managed to pour the rest of the potion in her ladle into a vial, then she drank it as well. Anything that would mean she wouldn't have to experience that again.

Zhenya wasn't silly. She knew from last year when Professor Lafay had spiked those delicious little treats with a boil potion that the fact they were all asked to identify if they had allergies to any of the items that they would be allergic by the end of the class.
She went up to the front of the desk and retrieved a vial of the potion she had in the front. She gulped it down and went over to see which allergy she now had. She touched everything, and smelt everything. Nothing... she waited a few moments, took another slow smell of one of the flowers and suddenly her eyes began to water and become really irritated and itchy. Her nose became so itchy and she erupted into a fit of sneezing. The back of her throat also became excruciatingly itchy and she tried to itch it with her tongue. "Oh this is so bad," she said through runny eyes, runny nose and an itching face.

"Alright, take the ginger root and grate it directly over the cauldron. Then let simmer for about 5 minutes." She demonstrated, and then summoned reishi the mushroom showing it to the class.
"This red, heart shaped mushroom is called a reishi mushroom. It is nicknamed the mushroom of immortality because of its healing properties. Some muggles think it cures cancer, diabetes, liver problems... It depends on how it's used. Thinly slice all the mushrooms and add them to the cauldron. Take your wand and wave it over the cauldron with a fast strinking oblique motion and cast the spell." She said and once she was finished diffindoing them and adding them she performed the wand movement and cast "Sanum!"
Tayla took a ginger root and grated it over the cauldron just as Professor Lafay had demonstrated. Her potion seems to be brewing well, at least Tayla hoped so. While she let it simmer for five minutes, Tayla took one reishi mushroom and sliced it thinly. She added the mushroom slices into the cauldron when the five minutes were up.
"Sanum," Tayla said without using her wand. She wanted to make sure she'd say it correctly. She also practice the movement once without saying the incantation. After that, she performed the spell. "Sanum!"

She let her cauldron cool. Tayla didn't seem allergic to anything so she went to the professor and took a vial of the allergy-inducing potion. Trying not to be too nervous, she sipped a little of it. Tayla shook her head. It wasn't the most pleasant of tastes. She then went to the items at the table and was about to try a strawberry when she started sneezing hard. "Achoo!" It was the flowers next to her. "Achoo! Achoo!" Yikes! Her eyes were starting to tear up.
Tayla quickly went back to her cauldron, took a cup of the potion she had made and drank, hoping it would work. In a couple seconds, Tayla stopped sneezing and felt much better. "So that's what an allergy feels like," she said to herself, feeling thankful she had none and that the potion worked. "Cool!" she smiled.

B-but did that mean they were going to be like... allergic permanently? Since the potion couldn't possibly be ever lasting! That was impossible! She didn't want to be allergic to somthing... yet she gulped and left her potion to cool off so when she wandered back she could bottle it
She walked over to the potion and glared at it fiercely and a little curiously aswell, LuLu closed her eyes and carefully brought the Potion up to her lips! Then she drank! She put it down once she was done with her exact measure and wandered over to the table, sadly... WELL! If she was going to be allergic to anything.... she picked flowers! Because... it was going to go away anyway right? And she could always make it again she picked up the flowers and took a big, loud sniff... Her nose suddenly tingled and it was if she were about to explode! She wandered back to her ''Achoo,'' potion and ''Achoo,'' sne- ''Aaaachoo!!!,'' sneezed..... she pulled a tissue up to her nose, sadly

Jonathan stopped the fire under his cauldron as the last step was to cool it down for a bit. The potion was done? Really? Jonathan really didn't notice that fact. For awhile, he thought that they were just in the middle and now here he is sitting and letting the potion to cool.
Amazing... how time flies, that is.
Jonathan is allergic to seasonal changes, especially from winter--- super cold, to spring--- super suffocating. Yes, as much some kids likes spring, Jonathan hates it. Everything in that season comes to life. The hibernation process even stops and animals are good to go outside. Every plant grows and every flower blooms. Not that he had a problem when them blossoming, it's just that when flowers blossoms, their pollen is stronger and thus it becomes itchy to the nose and annoying. Annoying in a sense that insects come out and steal those pollen. Jonathan is not the insect fan.
The dangers of Spring.
But even so, Lafay still wanted them to have some allergy reaction right now just so they could test if their potions were done correctly. He took the vial that the professor had ready. Now, Jonathan looked at his options, there were a lot and right now, people are starting to sneeze, complain, cough. He can hear the scratching of oneself even from a far. NUTS! Most people are allergic to it, Jonathan took a few and went back to his seat. He starred at it for awhile and sniffed it. It's good enough to eat and he'd rather eat it than make it as part of his experiment.... but--- Potions!!!!
Jonathan took a sip from the Professor's potion and it tasted kind of awkward. He can't really say how it tasted but it is definitely not something he'd want to taste again. The Jonathan put a few nuts into his mouth and began munching at it. So far, the itching from the throat had started and Jonathan began coughing while pounding his chest. It feels like something was stuck on his throat and it's not the nicest feeling ever.
Jonathan went to his cauldron. It's been awhile since he let it cool right? Jonathan took the ladle and cleaned it but he was still coughing the bloody nuts out. He dipped it immediately into his cauldron and sipped most of the potion that was on the ladle. He stood there for awhile, breathing his lungs out and although, he is happy that his potion worked the feeling of being suffocated was still there.
He breathe deeply once more and sat down into his seat again as he fixed his uniform.

WAS SHE SERIOUS?
Merlin, I really don't want to drink this potion! Raven thought. She hated drinking POTION!
But...
In order to cure her allergy, she MUST take it!
"Okay.." said her doubt. Then she left her cauldron until it became cool. After that, she took a clean cup and a wooden spoon, then she poured some potion to her cup 'till it filled a full cup. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and kept herself calm. Then she walked to Lafay's kneazle.
"A.... A.... A.... ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" She sneezed loudly. Oh Merlin, it was bad! Then she noticed on her potion.
"This is just a potion, you must drink it to cure your allergy, Raven." she murmured. Then she drank it.
Ocvbhnjmggyhuityuil..... The taste is awful! She had brewed it based on the instruction, right? She just hope it worked. Then she came again to Lafay's kneazle. Did her allergy cure or not?
"Good kneazle." greeted her. Hey, she didn't sneeze anymore when she came closer to the kneazle. Was it mean she didn't have allergic again to the kneazle?!
YAY!! \(>o<)/

Beezus stared at Professor Lafay, dumb founded. Did she just say thy were going to induce in the substance they were allergic to? That meant she needed to eat chocolate. Merlin, why are the odds not with her this week? She stopped the fire on her cauldron as she sat back and thought about was they were about to do.
Nope, she didn't want to eat the chocolate. She did not want to have a red face again. Yet her classmates were already piling to the front and she knew she didn't have a chance. She had to do it, for her sake, for the sake of her house. Hesitatantly, she stood up and walked with her classmates to the front.
Yeap. There was that treat she hated the most.
Beezus stared at it for a while and with a shaky hand, she picked up the chocolate bar. THAT WAS JUST EWWWWW. She shuffled back to her table immediately, pulled out and settled her handkerchief on the table and lightly threw the chocolate on top of it. She was starting to itch just be holding it.
The eaglette turned her attention to her potion. She picked up a cup and then she took a ladleful of the potion and poured it into the latter.
'It's now or never Beezus,' she thought as she reverted to face the chocolate bar. The next moments played as if from a movie that was slowed down, she picked the chocolate up and propped it into her mouth. BLEEEEEEH! She spitted out most of it. And returned the remaining back on the handkerchief. The treat tasted...sweet and good. Merlin, why did she have that kind of fate? being allergic to something that great? That was just unfair! However, the allergic reaction did not allow her to think about her dilemma far too much for after just a few seconds, she started itching. And it was particularly on her face. "Ohhh..." she uttered with surrender.
She shifted and then grabbed the cupful of the potion. She drank it halfway. Spit! Spit! Spit! What was that taste? It was soooooo awful uncommon. Breathing heavily, she urged herself to drink the remaining potion.
.............................
Well, that was just some of the few depressing moments of her life. She had finished drinking the cupful of potion yet nothing happened and she was still itching like mad. She wanted to ask Professor Lafay for help. Okay, she'll accept the fact that she hadn't brewed it correctly or if she did, something wrong happened. She just wanted the itching to stop because she knew her face was now very red.
However, it seemed like she didn't need to sought after anyone's help for after approximately three minutes, a cold rush traveled her throat. It stayed there for a few seconds that she kept on swallowing hard. Then it was gone and the next thing she knew, the itching lessened. So..maybe it did work after all?
They're done. Yay! Then Messer face went pale when Professor Lafay said that they need to taste the potion. That mean he has to eat PEANUT! But..but..The last time he ate peanut he almost died. Oh Sweet Helga! He just hoped that his potion worked, he didn't want to die because of peanut allergy. He's too young to die.
While he wait the cauldron to cool, Messer went to the front of the class where the Professor put the peanuts and other things. He picked up some peanuts with shaky hands and went back to his work station. Messer stared at the peanuts for several minutes before he finally has a guts to pick it up and put it into his mount. The young badger ate the peanuts slowly very slowly. Within minutes after the exposure, the allergic reaction began to appear, his skin turned red, itching in his mouth and throat, shortness of breath and he started to feel lightheaded.
Oh Merlin! He's going to DIE! No! No!
Quickly he took a cupful of the potion but because he felt lightheaded, his vision was kinda blur. With so much difficulties, Messer finally able to drink the whole cupful of the Antillergen Potion. It didn't taste good but its nothing compare to his peanut allergy symptoms.
After he finished drinking his cupful of potion, he didn't feel lightheaded anymore and he can breath normally. Thank Merlin, he's not going to die today but he's never ever gonna eat those peanuts again! NEVER! The itchiness he felt in his mouth and throat was gone and although his skin still red but he could see that it slowly change back into his natural skin color. Well, its look like that his potion did work.
SPOILER!!: Messer's Notes
Antillergen Potion
uses: to deaden allergic reactions for a year
"This is not going to be good...please ..please...don't let me die..."Gustav thought in sorrow as he stared at his own finished creation . He hadn't had any allergy he could think of but to think of having to swallow a vial of the allergy-inducing potion just to test out his potion made him extremely nervous. He walked with little confidence to the front of the class and took the vial from the professor. He swallowed down the vial, trying to ignore the biter aftertaste. He waited for a few seconds before the potion started to kick in him. The smell of the flowers....were too strong, making him sneeze uncontrollably.
"Achhoo!..Ahchoo!"he sneezed.
He quickly ran back to his table so he could poured some potion with the use of a wooden ladle into his cup.
...Urgh...
"This is for your own good..."he mumbled to himself. He drank it all down his throat, hoping the allergic reaction would stop. Finally, he could breathe normally. The sneezing had stopped...thank merlins for his wonderful handmade-potion!
He breathed a sigh of relief...no more of that horrid vial...he thought in disdain.

Ella wasn't allergic to anything so she stood up and walked hesitantly over to the vials. With a look at the sky and a prayer that somebody please not let her die from this-Ella downed the vial. She scrunched up her face in disgust as the aftertaste wasn't great. Then, she walked over to the tray to see what she reacted to. Smells weren't causing anything to happen so she picked up a strawberry to eat. Nothing happened at first but then-the itching! It was horrible! It felt like the roof of her mouth had a million mosquito bites.
Ella hurried back to her cauldron where she hastily drank a cupful of potion, eyes wide. She closed them tight when she had swallowed, hoping the itching would stop. Shortly, it did. Ella was no longer feeling the insane urge to scratch the roof of her mouth. She was comfortable again and the panic subsided. "Merlin that was scary! Thank goodness it worked!"

Louisa's hand was twisting a lock of her hair as she waited for the cauldron to cool. Her eyes watched the petrified eyes of allergic students. In fact, she liked the boy Messer? Who almost caused her to lose a limb at the lake lesson, heh. He was apparently allergic to something. Her eyes moved on to Beezus then, who was giving dagger looks at that poor bar of chocolate. Poor lil girl, it was the lamest curse in the world for a girl to be allergic to chocolate. Tsk tsk. Louisa made a mental note not to share her chocolate treats with the younger eagle.
Touching the side of the cauldron, she made sure it was cool now. Louisa got up then and moved on to take one of the vials that supposedly would make her allergic to something. Sipping from the vial, or gulping from it to be accurate, Louisa paused for a moment. She felt stinging down her throat but other than that she was the same.
The Ravenclaw walked over to the objects professor Lafay had laid down for them to try out. Louisa was eager actually to find out which one of those goods would be deadly.
Her hand found the peanut butter first, she licked the teaspoon and waited for like ten seconds before deciding it was safe. She grabbed a chocolate and took a bite. Again, nothing. Heh. Her system was stronger than expected?
Taking the strawberry, Louisa munched it slowly and sucked on the juice while her eyes lingered on the other treats that she wanted to try out. The strawberry was still on her mouth when her tongue started throbbing and getting slightly hot.
O__O
The girl lifted the fruit away from her mouth, eyed it and slowly moved back to her workspace where the potion waited for her. Louisa quickly poured some of her potion into a wooden cup-like subject. She didn't drink it right away, though, she waited for a little bit to feel it entirely. Her tongue felt slightly larger.. and it definitely was crowding her mouth. THAT was when she knew that the more she waited, the more dangerous this task would turn out to be.
Fumbling with the cup, Louisa opened her mouth as wide as she mustered and poured down some of the potion. After the stinging, sizzling-feeling and throbbing fading away slowly... her mouth was not crowded anymore.

Violet left her cauldron to cool for a bit. Then she took a cup and a spoon to scoop some into her cup. But what if this potion was going to kill her? Didn't the professor think that someone was going to do this wrong and poison her? Violet shuddered at that thought. Maybe..maybe this professor trusts us that all of us did the potion right. She gulped down the potion, which tasted awfully disgusting, and waited for the effects to happen. Obviously, nothing happened because Violet was allergic to cats. Maybe if she went back to her dorm, it may work as some of her classmates owned cats.
"Well, you all seem to be following directions well." Good... she was impressed. Or maybe her good mood was clouding her judgement... maybe...
"Next steps... Pull your wooden spoon, and add 3 spoonfulls of raw honey..." She looked over to the Gryffindor prefect. "It doesn't have to be perfectly measured... you just add it by eye." She showed the students how to do it, letting the hot liquid melt off all the honey from the spoon. "Take 5 basil leaves and slice them thin, as thin as you can, with your silver knife." And she did what she said to the letter. "Now what you want to do is take a papaya, whole and with the same silver knife, stab the fruit and stuff some of the basil in the wound. Keep stabbing until you make enough holes for all of the basil. Then add it to the mixure. Whole."
1 whole Papaya
Janice took out her wooden spoon, scooped 3 spoonfulls of the honey Lafay mentioned. Eww, she said in her mind. I didn’t know that raw honey would be worse than processed honey.
Several years of cooking made her what she is: a fast slicer. She folded the basil leaves and started slicing them like slicing onions at home, and she was done in no time. She poked the fruit several times with the same knife, then stuffed the basil leaves in the holes, plunging it into the cauldron. She watched the liquid inside rippled and rose as the papaya sank down whole, and shuddered. She has never liked papaya either.

She took the ginger root and grated it like cheese, except that this is kind of harder. She looked at her wristwatch, then took the reishi mushrooms and sliced it thinly. She peered to her watch again, and there was still 3 minutes to spare. 2 and a half, she counted under her breath, 2, one and a half, one, three quarters, half of a minute, fifteen seconds, ten, five, yes! She using her knive, she slid the mushrooms into the cauldron. She reached for her wand and said “Sanum!” while slashing the air above the cauldron, wondering what spell could that be.

Her jaw dropped. Was Lafay torturing them by go and have allergies and then see if this potion saves you?? Didn’t she know that bush daisies make rashes on top of rashes on top of rashes emerge unto the surface?? Janice knitted her eyebrows, prepared a cupful of her Antillergen potion on top of her workspace. She wondered which allergy should she have, dust, chocolate, bush daisies, or pineapples, and because pineapples are the mildest allergy, pineapples are it. One of the reasons why she didn’t choose chocolate is because she hates chocolate, and bush daisies would be too severe.
She took a slice of pineapple and bit it. After 5 seconds or so, a searing pain developed across her lips, then to her nose, cheeks, and chin. With a split-second thinking of to consume or not this potion with papaya and raw honey inside, she quickly gulped down the contents of the cup and breathed heavily. When her breath became normal again, she realized that the pain on her lips is gone. If she had a mirror, she would like to see the red stuff disappear out of her face. Wow, she thought. This potion is really useful!

Since Amelia had no allergies as far as she knew, she headed up and collected a vial while she waited for her potion to cool.
Once she had it in her hand, she stared at the potion almost suspiciously. She opened the vial and sniffed it before shrugging. It seemed okay, she supposed. At least she knew Lafay wouldn't try to poison them or anything.
Swallowing the liquid, she coughed a little then waited a moment. Heading over to the tray, she reached for the strawberries and prayed that she wasn't allergic to them now.

Elise nodded, taking the ginger root and the grater. Tip-toeing, she peered into the cauldron before grating the ginger root into it. Grate. Grate. Grate. Moving the root back and forth over the grater, she imagined it was a carrot. Grate. Grate. Grate.
Great! Done.
Moving on quickly, she scourgified her cutting board and knife before setting the mushrooms onto her cutting board. Slicing them thinly, she worked as though she was cooking. It wasn't anything she wasn't already used to anyway. Once the five minutes were up, she'd finished with the mushrooms anyway. Pushing them into the cauldron with her knife, she picked her wand out of her pocket hastily.
Moving her wand in the motion that Professor Lafay specified, she mumbled, "Sanum." That should've worked... Right?

Sighing, she allowed the cauldron to cool. It was rather scary how fast the time flew. Walking over to the front, she eyed the chocolate bar suspiciously. Eyes widening, she picked it up.
Unwrapping it, she took a bite. Letting the treat melt in her mouth, she nearly cried. It should've been a crime to be allergic to something that good, and Elise didn't know what she was missing! Taking another bite, she chewed slowly before realizing that she couldn't breathe properly and that her throat was starting to itch.
Running towards her cooled cauldron, she ladled out her mixture into the wooden mug-like thing. Ewww.... Swallow it. Swallow it, Elise. The potion was way worse tasting than the chocolate, but she felt a cool sensation going down her throat. Shuddering, she drank the whole cupful.
Her eyes turned tentatively towards the chocolate in her hand. Taking another bite, she waited for her breath to become short and her throat to itch. She waited, for about five minutes. It didn't happen.
Maybe her potioneering skills weren't as bad as she'd thought.

Amethyst smiled as she was given instructions. She was not allergic to anything, so she got up, letting her potion cool. She was not eager at all to take the counter-measured potion. She took it up anyway and reluctantly drank the potion.
After drinking the potion, she walk over to the table full of things that others were allergic to. She passed peanuts. Nothing. She walked by the chocolate. Nothing. But when she walked by the oranges, she had a terrible sneeze attack.

He allowed his cauldron to sit, no fire underneath it. During this cooling process, he watched others finish up their brewing and file up to Lafay's desk. He was excited to take the potion, because he would really enjoy being able to eat all the puddings in the Great Hall that had chocolate in them. Those were always the ones that looked the most delicious to him. And now I can eat them all year!
After the potion had sufficiently cooled, he scooped up a cupful. I hope this doesn't taste too disgusting or I might spit it out. He didn't think Lafay would like that very much. Steeling himself, he pinched his nose to mute the taste and downed the portion in three large gulps. "That wasn't bad at all!" Unsure of what was about to happen inside of him, he took a seat to wait for any unpleasant sensations.
After several minutes passed without any terrible feelings, he thought it would be safe to go try some. He strode up to the front table and grabbed some chocolate. Wand in hand in case he needed to use a nonverbal Anapneo on himself, he cautiously took a bite. Munch. Munch. Munch. He was braced for a sudden constriction of his airway, but it did not come. "Sweet! Thank you, Professor! This is one of the most beneficial potions I've brewed!"

Reason: Editing FAIL. XD
Silvia waited for the potion to cool, meanwhile wondering whether or not to take one of the vials Professor Lafay was providing. She was allergic to pollen, but only mildly allergic. Nowhere near as bad as the few students in class who began to sneeze as soon as they walked in the room. Silvia had to be exposed to a very large amount of pollen for a very long time for it to affect her, and therefore her allergy only really bothered her in the Spring by giving her a small cold. The few flowers at the professor's desk were not enough to cause any reaction at all.
But they were supposed to be testing the potion now, not in several months' time, and she couldn't just plop herself into the greenhouses for several days hoping to get a cold. So Silvia walked up to the front and retrieved both a vial and one of the flowers. Returning to her desk, she poured some of the potion into a small glass and then turned back to the vial. Uncorking it, she took a deep breath. She didn't expect it to taste good. She drank it. Ew...disgusting, she thought as she forced herself to swallow it. She picked up the flower.
Suddenly, her nose became stuffy and she had to open her mouth in order to breathe in enough air, and her throat became itchy. Silvia quickly covered her mouth with her sleeve and let out a few raspy coughs. Yep, whatever was in the vial certainly amplified her pollen allergy. She cleared her throat, and reached for the glass filled with her potion. She downed it as quickly as she could; it didn't taste much better than what was in that vial. After setting the glass down, she waited. Almost immediately, her nose began to slowly clear up, as did her throat; and within about a minute or two she felt completely back to normal... well, except for that nasty taste lingering in her mouth. Her first potion was a success!

Jordan smiled, taking the ginger root and the grater beginning to grate the root up and down over the cauldron watching the grating fall in until there was no more root to be grated. Now that was done, he grabbed and scourgified his chopping board and began slicing the mushrooms as thin as he possibly could tipping them into the potion as well before allowing the potion to simmer for 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes were up, Jordan lifted his wand mimicking the motion used by the Professor casting "Sanum!" over the potion. He must've done it right, hopefully.
Jordan wandered up to the front of the classroom, he had no allergies that he knew of so he decided to allow the potion to cool as he grabbed a vial of the allergy inducing potion. Returning to his seat he drained the vial in one gulp, pinching his nose making himself stomach the disgusting taste. He returned to the front desk to see what he was now allergic to, he looked at the various items wondering what he'd be allergic to. He felt a certain distaste towards carrots, returning to his desk he poured himself a vial of the Antillergen Potion before taking a bite of carrot.
Immediately, Jordan felt his toungue swelling up inside his mouth and his airways constricting. His eyes watering he grabbed the vial he had prepared, drinking it as quick as he could before his throat fully closed up. About 10 seconds later his vision became less blurry and he could breathe once again. He smiled slightly, feeling relieved that he had successfully brewed a potion and saved his life, but slightly wary about carrots. They were dangerous things!

Reason: Catching Up :)
Autumn had let her potion cool for a bit.
She walked up to the front and retrieved some of the potion and looked at the options that lay before her.... what was she allergic to?
She touched a few items and nothing happened.
"Whaaaa--" All of sudden when she touched a Apple her hand started turning red and she started to itch.
She could feel her throat stating to itch like there was somethin crawling up it!
She ran back to her cauldron and quickly took a cup full out and siped it as quickly as she could!
It was disgusting! But she wanted the itch to stop!!!
gradually the itching in her throat stopped and her hand turned back to normal!
She let out a sigh of relief and sat down! It had worked!
Annabelle heard the teachers instructions and went right to work. She grated the ginger root over the cauldron. It almost felt like she was helping her mother cook again. She felt as ease doing potions. She let the potion simmer for 5 mintues. As it was simmering she cut all the mushrooms into very thin slices. Then when the 5 minutes were over she took the thin slices and put into the cauldron. She imitated the wand movements the professor did and said "Sanum!"
"Professor did i do this potion right?" Annabelle asked while raising her hand. She had a feeling she did something wrong. Maybe it was the wand motion?
"Leave the cauldron to cool. The ones of your who are allergic now take a cupful and drink it, see if that works. Those who aren't. Can come here and retrieve a vial of this." She showed a potion that induced an allergy. Take the counter-measure and then take one of the items on the table to see which you are now allergic to.
Taylor left her cauldron to cool and went up to get a vial like the professor directed them too. She went back to her cauldron and got a clean cup and scoop some of the potion she just made up in it. Tay took both things and went up to the table where the teacher directed. She quickly took what was in the vial and grimaced at the taste. Taylor went past the things on the table she reached and grabbed a peanut to see what would happened. As soon as she touched the peanut, she started breaking out in hives and her throat started to close. Tay drank the potion she made as fast as she could not even grimacing at the taste. She sighed in relief when her body started going back to normal. Tay would of smiled and be proud that she did the potion right if she didn't shiver thinking about that awful experience.

Sky left her potion to cool, half wondering if blowing on it would help it to cool faster. Yeah, okay probably shouldn't try that. What if blowing on it messed the potion up? Not good.
As soon as the potion seemed cool enough, Sky walked up to the front of the class and picked up a vial of the allergy inducer. She gulped the potion down quickly, then tried each of the objects on the desk. The moment she took a whiff of the flowers, she could feel her nose start to get stuffy. Ugh, great. It HAD to be the flowers. It couldn't be the nuts, or anything else. Of course. She hoped her potion worked, or she was going to be miserable come spring!
Walking back to her station, she felt a sneeze attack coming on.
*Aaaachoo* *Achoo!* *Aaachoo* *ACHOO!*
She ladled some of her potion into a vial and gulped it down just as quickly as she had the allergy inducing potion. She stopped sneezing instantly and her nose started to clear. Ah, much better!
