OOC: If your character is ill or injured, please post in the check in area first.
Once you've notified Healer Brookes that you are in the Hospital Wing and in need of medical attention, you will be escorted into the Waiting Room. There is only one Healer, but no need to worry your pretty head, everyone will receive the proper amount of attention.
The waiting room has been newly decorated with bright, sunny colours and is filled with vases of flowers. The room is full of pink chairs, and you'll find the occasional magazine on one of the side tables.
Take a seat and relax - no need to aggravate your condition - the Healer will see you soon.
OOC: Please keep in mind that there may be many people in the hospital wing at the same time. Inevitably, time lines overlap, and I will try my best to get to you as soon as I possibly can. Also, Let's keep the chatting to a minimum.
Going with Desiree's hunch of the hospital wing being on the third floor, that is where they headed. And she was right! They headed towards the wing, Lana checked in and took a seat in the waiting room.
Lana took a deep breath and turned to Desiree. "Well.. what did I get myself into?" she giggled.
Desiree walked into the waiting room with Lana, after successfully finding the hospital wing. Smiling at Lana, she said "See, I told you I knew where it was" well actually she got lucky.. As they walked in she noticed Zhenya and Raven had come too. Lana must feel a lot more comfortable with all her friends there, she thought taking a seat.
SPOILER!!: Zhenya

"Unless you'd rather stay that way of course, I think it's a good look for you" she joked with a wink. She knew Lana wouldn't take her jokes the wrong way.

Ooh a crossword... wait what was a crossword? She leaned over to get a better look at it, and listened intrigued as Raven explained, it was like a trivia game. kindof. Except about muggle objects, so Desiree would probably be terrible at it. "That'd be great to work on while were waiting" lowering her voice so as to not disturb the patients she asked Zhenya "Do you need a quill?" she asked because for no reason in particular she had one in her robe pocket...

"Ohhh," Lana nodded. She still looked at it confused. Muggles create the strangest things. She tried to study it a bit more from her view, but soon gave up. At least Raven tried to explain it to me. Very nice of her.

She looked at Desiree with a smile, "You know what.. It starting to grow me. If it fades, I may just do my makeup this way every day." Lana grew up in a very serious atmosphere, but it made her want to enjoy life more. Maybe that's the reason why she's always smiling and laughing.

Oh, Raven is right. We shouldn't be noisy. Lana proceeded to stay quiet and look around at what was in there. Patiently, she waited for the healer.

Beth stared at the sign in book. This HAD to be a practical joke. How else would a first year have developed SCALES. She walked back into the waiting room, and saw a whole group of young students. Good gracious... Was bringing that many friends along with you necessary? "Melania Warrington?" she asked, seeing quite quickly which girl was Melania. "Come with me to the Healing Area."
The healer eyed all of the student's friends for a moment. "And so long as you lot aren't going to be any hassle, you may come to the healing area, too." They were obviously here for moral support, right?
OOC: Please don't chat so much, it makes finding the important posts very difficult. If you carry on like this in the Healing Area, then Healer Brookes will ask the friends of the injured student to leave.
Erin was advised by Professor Bentley to go see Professor Lafay or the healer Madam Brookes to help her with her problem. It's like she's got no choice. It would be the matron, or just kill herself. She just hopes there is a way for her to get over her phobia. She sat on one of the pink chairs and waited patiently for her turn to see Madam Brookes.
Mickey limped over to any place she could sit down and waited for someone to take care of her. Her ankle was already starting to swell and she didn't even want to look at her arm. Both were throbbing and she could already feel the tender swelling of her side.
Eino made his way to the Hospital Wing shortly after the first tryout match for the quidditch team. He had been hit by a bludger and his shoulder as hurting very badly. On his way to the third floor, he clutched his right shoulder with his left hand, occasionally rubbing it, trying to relieve some of the paint. Eino could tell something was wrong with his shoulder but didn't know exactly what. He just hoped it wasn't broken or too badly injured that it would impede him from using his right arm since he still had more matches to make to before even being considered for the team. Quidditch aside, he really needed his right hand to write, so it would be very bad if he couldn't. Hurt on the first match? And it wasn't even an official match! How lame. Part of him regretted trying out for Quidditch, but he had done much better than he had expected, so he was also glad.
On his way to the Hospital Wing, he had been accompanied by another player, a boy his age, but Eino wasn't familiar with him. He had seen him once or twice, but never spoken to him. "Thanks." Eino said once they had reached the third floor. He could have made it on his own, but it was nice of the boy to have accompanied him, even if it had been at Ellie's request.

When Max had been asked to escort Eino safely to the Hospital Wing, he was a little uneasy by the idea. Even though Eino was one of his housemates, Max had never spoken to the boy before. He supposed it was time for that to change, especially after how well Eino played. If he healed well and they both continued to play as intensely as they did, Eino and Max definitely had a shot at becoming teammates.
On the journey up to the Hospital Wing, Max was uncomfortable by the silence, but he knew Eino was in pain. The boy was putting pressure on his shoulder, which Max thought was a good idea, so he didn't say anything until they arrived at their destination. "You're welcome," Max replied, rubbing the back of his head in discomfort. "I'll wait here with you until the Healer comes." After a pause, Max looked at Eino's shoulder. "Err, by the way, you played really well today. Even with your injury. I'll be surprised if you don't make the team."
Eino still hadn't really realized how well he had played because ever since that bludger hit him all he could think of was getting out of the quidditch pit. The only thing that kept him there was his promise to her, and he wouldn't give up so easily. After that he tried to his best partly because he thought it would make the match end faster, but also because it distracted him from his pain. Maybe he needed to be hit by bludgers more often, because it was only after that that he picked up his game. He really didn't want to get too worked up because for one he hadn't made the team yet, and he did injure himself, so.
"Thanks." Eino repeated himself. "You played spectacularly!" The boy was a genius on the broomstick, very quick, agile, and had great aim. "Likewise." He replied in regards to the boy's last comment. He also would be surprise if the boy didn't make it on the team, but like he said, they had to keep it up. "Oh, I'm Eino, by the way. Fourth year." He finally introduced himself, releasing his shoulder and extending his left hand. It was strange to shake hands with a different hand, but he could barely move his right arm.

Spectacularly? Max thought that was going a bit far. Sure, he had a strong burst of skill at the beginning after the initial shock of how many people were at the tryouts, but he wasn't very consistent after that. There were too many people, too much competition, and too many former Ravenclaw Quidditch players who shot daggers at him when he scored twice in a row. It freaked him out.
"I'm Max, also a fourth year," he smiled softly, shaking Eino's left hand with his. "It's nice to meet you, though I am sorry it's under these circumstances. That was a nasty bludger. On the bright side, it could've been worse - it could've smacked you in the head or knocked you off your broom." Max shrugged. He was an optimist.
Faven didn't know what had happened. One moment she was eating and drinking happily with some friends in the Great Hall, and the next second she was itching violently from a huge bumpy rash on her chest. Her syptoms had quickly progressed to intense abdominal pain and a startling shortness of breath. What was going on with her?????? Her friends had advised she head up to the Hospital wing, and it had taken all Faven had to tell them (through her raspy breaths) that she didn't need escorts. She was embarassed enough as it was, she didn't want her friends to see her like this. She had made her way here as quickly as possible, all the while her symptoms steadily growing worse. She was getting dizzy from the lack of oxygen and her rash was quickly spreading down towards her legs and up towards her neck. Faven sat clutching her stomach and itching herself while leaning against the wall. She really was a mess.

When Beth walked back through to the Healing Area, she was astounded at how many students were waiting. Summoning the sign-in book, the Healer sighed. Perhaps she should develop something that prevented injuries from happening all together, instead of just fixing them once the damage was done.

"Miss Heyman? Come with me to the Healing Area." She smiled, and indicated for the student to stand up.

Broken limbs? ... Fantastic! They were rather fun to heal, in all honesty. "Are you Michelle? I'll see to you in Healing Area 5." She eyed the girl's ankle. "Do you need a hand getting there?"

What an embarrassing way to be going to the hospital wing. She had no problem during tryouts having to wear feathers that made her and the whole team resemble green flying chickens. It was even better when she managed to nearly always have possession of the quaffle to score. No, what bothered her was near the end. She was so close to stealing the quaffle once again from the other girl trying out for Chaser, until she was blinded by the feathers!
To put it even more to shame, they flew into her mouth causing her to stop to try to take them out. As if it didn't get any worse, Lola, one of her best friends and idol in an effort to save her by helping to take them out of her mouth only succeeded in pushing them farther in her throat before making haste while the respected Head Girl laughed. Thankfully she could breathe through her nose.. just as long as she didn't try to swallow hard or speak.
Walking into the Hospital Wing she was a sight, feathers that looked to be poorly charmed on were falling and trailing on the floor behind her, the only hint of her condition was the sign she held that wrote "Feathers in throat, help" while she waited.
Kennedy seated a passed out Daichi on one of the chairs. He knew he should have enrolled in one of those CPR classes back at his old school, but NO. He took a seat next to him and allowed his eyes to wander. He was used to hospitals, so this was like a routine almost. He looked over for Eris, she hadn't quite assured him if she was alright or not.
He also wondered what had happened over at the lake. He cursed himself for being a little late. Maybe if he had caught up with them this wouldn't have happened.

Eris not felt it was fine to remove the rather sweet looking shades from Daichi's eyes, patting him on the cheek. "Oye!" she began in a low voice since they were in the hospital, "Time to wake up..."
Frowning she stood up, hands on her hips in a way that she resembled her mother. Only she was sopping wet and looked more like a boy....
"Thanks Kennedy" She grinned earnestly happy, Merlin she could almost hug him...though...she was soaked, and logic dictates that would be a bad idea. Though he looked like he was owed an explanation.
Giving a small cough she explained. "Daichi couldn't swim...." she began with a bit of guilt floating in her voice.

Violet limped slowly to her seat, her ankle seems to be swelling quite a bit with the bluish purple it looked. She hoped it wasn't fractured or broken, but she knew that Healer Brookes would get it fixed as soon as possible. Violet waited patiently in her seat.

"Dear me, you're right!" That bludger could have hit him on the head and-- Well, let's not get to what would have happened to his head, but it wouldn't look very pretty. What had he gotten himself into?! Quidditch didn't seem this dangerous when he watched it from the stands. Oh well, he couldn't quit now, and quite honestly, he didn't want to. As they waited for the healer, Eino began to pace, the pain on his shoulder was growing and the thought of sitting down did not make him feel better. He wanted to stay active, and keep his blood warm.

Eino had never been happier to the healer. He didn't even wait for her to walk all the way up to him and met her halfway. "It's A-No." At least she asked. Most people just called him I-No and always expected him to be a girl. There had been occasions where he was even asked if he was a girl, or whether or not his name was a girls name. No, he was not a girl, and no his name was a boy's name. But anyway, it never really bothered him he just found it strange because it was so obvious to him. When she directed him to the healing area he turned around first and nodded towards Max. "Thanks, see you in the field... or in the common room... or in the library..." Didn't matter. Hopefully they would run into each other before the next tryout. Max was good and Eino wanted to ask for some pointers. Plus, he needed to properly thank him to accompanying him to the hospital wing. With that, he turned back around and proceeded into the healing area.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

He looked over for Eris, she hadn't quite assured him if she was alright or not.
He also wondered what had happened over at the lake. He cursed himself for being a little late. Maybe if he had caught up with them this wouldn't have happened.

Not even realising that he was now at the absolutely, freaky scary idon'twannagooo hospital, for he was literally...passed out. Daichi did hear a voice calling for him but the dream he was in at the moment was much better than going to the voice. Laying motionless on the chair, his body seemed to slide down a bit as he unconciously yawned in his deep sleep.

Minerva sat with Harvey has she waited to see if her ankle was broken. She still couldn't believe she had fallen. What if it was broken. In muggle world she would be put in a cast. Do they do that here she wondered.

"How are you feeling Minnie? Lets hope you will get better soon" Harvey was concerned that this may be a big injury and was hoping that it was not a big one!
Emmaleigh made her way up the the hospital wing as soon as she left the Greenhouse. She had used her towel to wipe off her ear, but it was still bleeding some. She walked up to the sign-in book with her right hand still up to her eye, and grabbed the pen with her other hand. Quickly filling out the required information, she headed over to one of the seats. Resting her head in her hands, she just wished her eye would stop hurting.
