'Impressive.' Ari was startled. She couldn't even boil water yet, and Kurumi started to bake, albeit progressively, since she had been a small child? The younger Gryffindor started to think that she probably inherited her mother's disasterous cooking abilities. While other children helped their mothers cook, she helped hers gather the mess in the kitchen caused by the most recent attempt to cook something edible. The though of it made Ariadne grin.

'Well I'm sure everyone needs practice, no one can get it right on their first try. After all, there was only one Hermione Granger in this world.' Ari smiled, gaining more confidence to try again.

'No, it doesn't seem you've changed much, to me at least. You're still as modest as last year, and very helpful. But I guess the change in responsibility made you look more like a grown up than a child.' the second year replied. 'And otherwise...how are you getting along with...Sierra Greingoth?' the child hoped her question wouldn't annoy Kurumi.

'Right. I'll just try again.' she decided after a brief pause. Concentrating on her blue cup with bears on it, the girl did the wand movement and said the incantation, but this time the only thing that happened was that an edge of the ticket got burned. 'I guess I'm just tired, I'll take a break.' she announced, taking a seat and simply watching Kurumi do her thing.

10 minutes later, Ariadne was ready to try again. Repeating all the previous steps, she was surprised to see that this time there was a cup identical to the one at home on the desk in front of her, in place of the used ticket. 'I did it!' she said far too loudly.

Victoria started to panick. It's not her usual self to panick, but it's her hair!!! She's too protective of her hair to let anything happen to it. Maybe if she try the next spell, which changes her hair color, could make her hair the same color. 'Cause she really doesn't want her hair to have multi-colors that don't match. It would be way easier if they don't have to do it on their own hair. She would much more appreciate it if they could do it on others hair. That would mean NO MORE UGLY MULTI-COLORED HAIR STREAKS!

Geesh...Victoria's hyper today.

Victoria looked closely into the mirror and thought about the color she should do on her hair. Hmm....she thought that green would be good, for SLYTHERIN PRIDE! Seriously, Victoria should really come down.

"Ristardis!" said Victoria after making sure it's the right spell. The spell worked immediately. A spot of green was on her hair, and it's spreading quickly. Soon, instead or blonde, her hair's green, and that is exactly what she wanted it to be. Thank Merlin. There is no multi-colored streaks anymore.

"Oh my.." Violet thought as she tried the new Felintas spell to her cascading brown auburn hair. She tapped the wand to her head once and said clear and loud "FELINTAS." Her hair immediately shriveled up to her neck line and became a pixie-like hair do. "This is actually pretty cool. I can get used to this new hairstyle once in a while", she said to herself.

Then Violet tapped her head once again with the wand and said "Ris-TAR-is!" Immediately her pixie hair became a bright violet. Violet jumped in excitement. She was able to do the spell on her first try! Now her name was amazingly truly Violet, but she remembered that she would need to change it back so she tapped her head twice with the wand and said "INTARIS!". Her pixie hair morphed back into the brown auburn and tumbled back down her back. This spell was very easy to master for her.

Minerva walked into the practice room. She really wanted to try some spells, but wasn't sure of any to try. She was good at changing her hair and she didn't have a snake to practice on. Maybe she could find Professor Magnus and ask for some spells to try.

Having had some fun in the professor's office, the thing ran down the corridor towards the practice room. All the pretty objects were lined up on a table, just waiting to be used. Some more in boxes - it didn't know where to start.

Looking down at what it had in it's hands, it slopped some more ink on the floor as it placed them down, before running across to the table near the homework display. Grunting as it pulled itself up, the thing walked along and frowned at the words and drawings on the board. Pretty. But no, it wanted something from the box. Grabbing a teddy bear, it shook it a few times then threw it towards the pile of things on the floor.

Climbing down, it skipped back over to it's collection and picked it all back up, trying hard not to drop anything. Wobbling a few times, it waddled over to the door and left - leaving a trail of dripping ink along the corridor as it went.

Minerva was looking through her book trying to find something she might be allowed to do in the practice room. She really wanted to do some transfiguration, but didn't know what she was allowed to do. All of the sudden something came into the room. Things began to move, ink was being spilled. "WHO ARE YOU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Minerva screamed. "STOP" the thing did not listen Minerva wasn't even sure it knew she was there. She pulled her wand not sure what she was going to do with it since she really didn't know what was in there with her. "STOP" she yelled again. Then it was gone leaving a mess behind. Minerva looked around and decided to head to the Professors office to let her know before coming back to help clean.

Minerva came back with Professor Magnus. "See it is a mess. I was going to go ahead and start cleaning, but was so freaked out that I didn't really know what to do. It was weird I really did see anything just saw things moving around. I tried pointing my wand at it and yelling, but it wouldn't stop. What can I do to help clean this up?" Minerva loved this practice room and liked spending time here so she didn't want it destroyed.

Isabelle followed Minerva to the practice room, unsure of what she would find. The girl had not really been calm when she'd come and told her about it, so seeing it was something of a shock. Items from the boxes were strewn across the tables, and ink was dribbled all over the floor, from the door to the centre of the room, and back again. What on earth had happened?

Issy was listening to Minerva as she scanned the room, checking to see if anything was missing - like her quill, ink and chalk had been from her office. "I'm glad you didn't try to do anything to it, especially as you didn't know what it was. You could have been hurt. So well done from refraining." Issy patted her on the shoulder and smiled.

Yes, the floor in particular was a mess, that would need urgent cleaning. "Well, first things first - do you know scourgify? We can use it on the floor. And...I really should go and tell the Headmaster about this." She bit her lip and thought about what Minerva had told her. Something was loose and causing havoc.

Minerva shook her head as she watched the professor. "Yes I know that spell well. I have used it all term to clean my potions material. I can do that and start cleaning up the rest of the mess if you want to go to the headmaster." Minerva watched the Professor thinking about what had happened. She made a mental not to go to the library to do some research on what she saw as well as some spells to defend herself. After everything that has happened to her, wands being pulled, crazy people being mean to her, and now alone when something came into the room with her. She really needed to learn to protect herself in this new world. "Professor do you know what it was? Has something like this come before? Could it be what has the Elves coming into classes during lessons like Tinka did in Astronomy?" Minerva was very curious about what was going on.

"Good, good. It would be much appreciated if you could make a start for me." Isabelle smiled and eyed the mess. It was all very strange. If Minerva hadn't come and told her, Issy would have assumed it was a student, just like she had done with her office

Issy was lost in thought when Minerva spoke again. What? House elves in class? Turning her head, and with a perplexed look on her face, Issy squinted at the Hufflepuff. "Tinka was in Astronomy? And others as well? How weird. They usually know our schedule and work around it." Scrunching her nose up in confusion, she sighed and shook her head.

"No, I don't know what it was, but maybe someone else does. I'll be back soon to help. Will you excuse me, Minerva?" Isabelle gave the girl another smile and pat on the shoulder before exiting.

Minerva smiled at Professor Magnus and then turned to the mess. Ok I better get started she said still wondering what it was that had come in here. She took out her wand and pointed to the floor "scourgify" The ink began to clear off the floor. What a shame to waste all this ink. She moved around the floor "Scourgify" "Scourgify" cleaning all the floor as she went.
