Barf Worthy. That's how everything was.

"Erm... it was alright, a bit uncomfortable for Jordan and I with all of the PDA that occurred, but it was okay." She answered, laughing as Cael decided to play hairdresser.

"Haha, I guess you can put it that way," Jenny laughed, forgetting all about her curiosity about Kurumi's strange behavior. "Actually, I'm thinking of making food from different cultures right now...French food sounds nice." Her stomach rumbled just thinking about it.

And once again, Jenny had to remind herself that French cuisine did not involve French fries.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Janice said. "Thanks."
She studied her surroundings just realize that she jhad ust interrupted the Prefect's demonstration.
"Well, I'm not sure, but I think I'm suposed to get going..." she said, heading to the door.

Certain that Kurumi would manage to transfigure a decent oven out of that trunk, Ari could already feel the smell of freshly-baked cookies. Hehe, that was probably what Amortentia would smell like for her. 'It's a big deal, anyway. That you can bake since you were-what?-11?' Ariadne supposed Kurumi had been working on her delicious treats since she had been a firstie.

'Wicked!' Ari exclaimed as her older friend had turned the ticket in her hand into a pretty cup with hearts. 'Ok, I'll try again.' the second year nodded, keeping in mind that she was supposed to concentrate on a cup she had seen before. Her thoughts ran to her favourite cup at home, which was blue and had a bear on it. Picturing that, she did the wand movement yet again while saying the incantation. This time, the picture of a bear, exactly like the one on her cup back at home, appeared on the old Hogwarts Express ticket. 'Well, it's an improvement, isn't it?' she asked Kurumi, trying hard not to lose hope.

'Anyways, how are things going with you? Have you gotten used to being a Prefect?' Ari eventually asked, feeling chatty, and hoping Kurumi wouldn't be bothered by her question while she worked.

Isabelle had been exiting her office when she heard quite a few voices coming from the practice room. She'd opened it for Kurumi not long before, and there certainly weren't that many people with her. Raising her eyebrows, she locked her office and wandered down the corridor.

Quietly opening the door, Issy peeked in and saw the group of kids - all apparently having a mini lesson with Professor Hollingbury. Heh. Smiling, she shook her head and slipped into the room without anyone noticing. Standing by the back wall for a few minutes, she observed and had to admit she was quite impressed.

"You'll be doing me out of a job, Prefect Hollingbury," she chuckled, strolling over to them. "You are all doing very well though. Any extra help needed?"

"Well I was thinking about one of those pretty gray stones. The ones that have the white or clear pieces in it so when you move it around in the sun it sparkles." Minerva remembered these stones from outside of her parents house.

Minerva got a little nervous when the professor walked into the room. "Oh Professor I hope it's ok the Kurumi is teaching me this spell. I finished my homework and was curious to try another one."

Nate walked into the transfiguration practice room with one thought in mind: Purple!
He went over to a rather secluded area, pictured his hair purple, and said "Ristaris!". After he had tapped his head once with his wand and finished the incantation, his hair faded from its usual brown to a deep, royal purple. Self satisfied, Nate looked at himself for a minute, smiling triumphantly.

Ok, that was long enough. Nate tapped his head twice, said "Intaris!" and thought of his old brown hair. Once he had restored his head, he left the practice room.

Minerva decided she wanted to try again. She loved transfiguration and wanted to be good at it. She raised her wand swished it to the left and tapped the wrapper "Co-vah-dium" All of the sudden Minerva was holding a stone in her hand.

Ira tried a spell she learnt in class, Covadium...
She took a wrapper in her left hand and with her wand she tapped it, saying"Covadium!" In her mind she formed a picture of a small stone and concentrated on her task at hand
And Voila...there it was in her hand, a small stone! Finally Ira had transfigured something...
Now she wanted to see if the reverse was possible or no.

Supposed to get going? Kurumi cocked her head to the side. "You are not interrupting anything if that is what you are worried about," she said with a gently smile.

Kurumi giggled. "Thinking about becoming an international chef?" Kurumi asked. She didn't really know of many places that offered cuisine from all around the world. Most places were specialized in one thing. "French? That is the country where...they eat snails, right?"

Not something that Kurumi thought sounded like something she would ever want to try.

Kurumi closed her eyes and tried to imagine the sort of rock that Minerva was talking about. It sounded like ones that you found in the mountains when you got kind of high up. She probably had collected a few of them. "It might help to even think about its texture. The more detail you can give your mind the better." Not to mention focus. Hopefully the first year wouldn't melt anything.

Kurumi froze and the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end with surprise. Was she in trouble? Seemed that way, especially with Professor Magnus mispronouncing her name. "Professor!" she squeaked, offering an apologetic bow. "I-I-I think I am years, perhaps decades, away from being able to do that." True statement. Kurumi looked around at the first years that had gathered and a small smile crept across her lips. They were doing very well, especially after having a fourth year try and teach them a spell. "I think everyone can appreciate more practiced eyes, professor." Not to mention Kurumi was a little nervous about attempting to do the trunk again.
Then Kurumi heard the little first year try again, but the object in her hand was out of view from her violet gaze. "How did it go?"

"Since I could stand really," Kurumi laughed. She couldn't really do much when she was really young though. Mostly just watched her mother as she stirred things. Kurumi's job had been licking the spatula and helping wash dishes mostly. It wasn't until she was around five or so that she got to help stir things.

"Yep, certainly an improvement from last time," she nodded. "I think a few more tries and you will have it. This spell can be especially tricky. I struggled a lot with it. Melted several plastic bags." Not to mention the chocolate frog wrapper that caught on fire.

"Going...alright," she said with a shrug. Oh, Ari was talking about being a prefect. "I...think that is going alright. There certainly is a lot of planning and I have to be extra observant. But...I hope I haven't changed. I'm trying to keep a level head."

Glenn glanced around the doorway and found that an older looking student was teaching some other people around her age in there. She considered walking away again but had the sneaking suspicion that someone had already seen her peering there.

She walked quickly inside and grabbed a small mirror from one of the boxes. Glenn then settled herself on the ground far away from the practising group. She pulled her kitten, Amata out of her large robe pocket and placed her in her lap. Amata was, not surprisingly, asleep and purring gently.

Glenn slipped her wand out of her pocket and said "Felintas," tapping her head once as she did so. Perhaps, it was her desire not to attract attention and, as a result saying the spell too quietly that made her hair shrink into her scalp so that she was completely bald.

She chanced a look in the small mirror and uttered a small cry and hastily muttered "Intaris." tapping her head twice and returning her hair to its original state.

Now Ira decided to try out the spells they had learnt in class...What were they? Oh yeah, Felintas and Ristaris. Filintas was for changing hair style while Ristaris was for changing hair color. Also there wasIntaris, for restoring it...They were pretty simple!
She started by practicing Felintas. First she thought of the look she wanted to achieve...umm, really long hair? She concentrated hard on that image and then "Felintas" and tapped once on her head with her wand.
Her hair grew long! But not that long as she had wanted to...Maybe her concentration wasn't enough. But she would try again!

Jackie practised her colour trick again. 'Ristaris,' she tapped her head, thinking of silver. The mirror showed herself with a silver mane of hair. Wow! She'd finally got it right. She packed her things, tucked her wand and hopped out of the room, after tapping her head twice and saying 'Intaris'. She didn't want to walk around with silver hair.

Oh dear, her presence seemed to unnerve the younger student, and Isabelle smiled warmly to reassure her. "It's fine. I like that you are eager to learn so much - and Kurumi seems to be a very good teacher."

She didn't need to bow like that, Issy could tell it wasn't a greeting one by the high pitched squeak that went with it. She gave the girl a small don't-worry-about-it wave of her hand and smiled. "Technically maybe, but you're certainly getting there." Perhaps one day, down the line, she would be replacing her here at Hogwarts. Who knew?

More practised eyes. Isabelle chuckled at that, for some reason, and nodded her head. "Well I'm here if any of you do need me. I won't interrupt if you're on a roll though!"

Now this time, Ira was determined to do all the three spell right for a final time.
She decided to first do the color spell. Thinking of gold and concentrating hard on her image in her head, she muttered "Ristaris" and tapped once with her wand. And then when she looked into a mirror and voila! her hair was rich golden color. It looked so stunning!
Next she tried the other spell. "Felintas" she muttered and visualized really long hair unto her knees...and then her hair grew! Her hair really grew till knee-length!
Ira was happy, very happy."Yipee Finally I've got my spells right..." she was pleased with herself that she had practiced so many times and was now doing well! She gave a few taps on her shoulder, praising herself...
Now she restored it back to its original color and length. "Intaris" she muttered and her hair was back to normal.
She wished there was a spell to make her hair soft and silky...Her hair was always a mess to deal with! But from now on at least she could shorten her hair if it got too frizzy, right? Ira was really happy!

Kourtney glanced over towards the small group gathering around Kurumi. Now that looked interesting. Perhaps she could take a look...after she finished practicing.

Since she seemed to have the Felintas spell down, she thought to practice the color changing Ristaris yet again.

So, she had tried blonde...and red...and, of course, her natural hair color was brown, so...

With a giggle to herself, she raised her wand. Hopefully, this worked and she didn't end up half and half again. Picturing the new color in her mind, she tapped the top of her head once with her wand, saying "Ristaris!"

She stole a peek in the mirror, and laughed aloud, for she couldn't help it. Her curly hair looked as though she had dipped her head into a vat of bubblegum, but at least she had the desired effect. Bubblegum pink! Excellent!

Tapping her head once again, she spoke. "Felintas!" Her hair drew itself up and her curls relaxed to the point where she was sporting a pink bob style. What fun!

"I did it!" Minerva jumped a little in excitement. "Look" She held the stone up high for Kurumi to see. "You are a great tutor!"

Alright, just one more bit of practice and she could check out what was going on with Kurumi. It appeared as though she was teaching a different spell than what they had learned in class, and if so, that was excellent. She was always looking forward to learning more magic.

Looking back at the mirror she bough, she eyed the pink bob, actually liking the look, but knew that she couldn't keep it. At least for now. With two taps of the wand, she changed her hair back to its original state. So that was Intaris...

Now to practice Felintas and Ristaris once more.

Kourt thought hard for a few moments on the kind of hairstyle that she would like to try, and then concentrated on the color.

One tap. "Felintas!" Her curls relaxed to a more wavy like state and then weaved itself together into a tight braid. A few of the relaxed curls became sweeping bangs. She nodded with approval. "Ristaris!" Tap once.

Grey. Exactly what she was shooting for. It was a strange color with this particular up-do, but she had been curious. Turning her head from side to side, she studied the effect. Not bad.

She placed her mirror down and lifted her wand again. Tap, tap...concentrating hard on her original curly, brown hair. A tingle told her that the spell was working, and she looked back into the mirror with relief at the very familiar image now smiling back.

Deciding that she had done enough practice, at least for now, Kourt packed her mirror away and wandered over towards the group surrounding Kurumi. Let's see what's going on here....

Glenn eyed her now normal reflection in the mirror. She was hesitant to try again after having made herself bald on the first attempt.

Glenn's wand was still in her wand so she concentrated on what she wanted her hair to be and tapped her head once with her wand and saying more clearly this time "Felintas.". Immediately Glenn felt her hair grow until it was tickling the ground. She looked in the mirror and examined her handy work, there didn't seem anything wrong with it this time.

Growing slightly in confidence, she tapped her head and said, "Ristaris.".

Her hair had transformed into a black curtain framing her face, throwing the few freckles she had into spotlight. Glenn smiled, as she tucked her new hair behind her ears and looked around for the first time about the classroom. Glenn recieved a small shock upon finding the teacher watching from the doorway, she hastily looked away and watched the practising group. Glenn was trying to find ideas for new hairstyles to try.

Jonathan came inside the classroom to practice his transfiguration skills and well, at the same time do his assignment given to them by the professor. Weird. Jonathan just woke up and still hasn't eaten yet but he was more excited in doing this than go down the great hall for a meal.

No. There was no time for that--- well, maybe later when he is done with this.

His blonde hair was really awful. Most people did say it was quite okay but looking at himself in the mirror, he never really liked it. INFACT, he was more amused looking at it. OH, his summer agendas.

Thanks to transfiguration he can finally change his awful honey blonde hair into something crazy and BACK to his original hair, without any worries whatsoever.

Jonathan took out his wand. The thing about these spells was concentration. Jonathan point his wand onto his head. "Felintas!" he tap the head once. His hair currently was straight due to the transfuguration lecture but now, as he did the felintas spell, his hair turned to curly again.

He looked at himself in the mirror and shrugged. This was the same hair he had coming back to Hogwarts. Hideous!

He then pointed his wand back to his head. 2 taps and concentrate. He was thinking deeply this time. If he wanted his hair back, he needs to concentrate. "Intaris" straight! straight! straight!

After casting the spell, he looked at the mirror again. He smiled. Finally! Back to straight. At least now, he knows how these spells work.

Caroline found herself at the transfiguration practice room. She had been looking for good places to quietly do her transfiguration homework. There were quite a few people in here. Kurumi was surrounded by half a dozen younger students, helpping them out. She made a mental note to tell Asher if he needed any help with homework to find Kurumi.

With that thought she made another note to her self to tell Kurumi to keep her little brother straight next term when he would be here. She watched her helpping out with the younger students. Caroline would never have the patients to handle all of those students much less one of them. Well she could handle at least one.

Anyway back to bussiness. She took her wand from her bag. She thought about what color she wanted to change her hair to. Her older sister taught her these spells years before Caroline was allowed to do, or even knew how to do magic. But she had forgotten what they were. Starr did turn Caroline's hair into a lovely shade of Slytherin green.

Tapped the top of her head with her the tip of her wand. Thinking about the exact shade of green that her robes were.

"Ristaris!"

She walked over to the minnor. WOW her hair was greeeeennnnn. Maybe it was a little too green. Even for her. It would be a great way to tell her a part from the other blonde Slytherins on the team. That shade of green could be seen from a mile She tapping the top of her head. Tap. Tap twice "Intaris" Her hair went back to the light shade of blonde that it once was.


Now she was going to go watch Kurumi play professor.

What better place to do his Transfiguration homework than do it in the Transfiguration practice room? Nikolas headed to the classroom and it seemed many students had the same idea as him. At least he wouldn't look ridiculous because everyone else was doing it too. Stepping into the room, he looked around for a mirror and there it was! The Slytherin walked towards it and took out his wand.

Let's see. First think of a new hairstyle. His hair was straight and short so, long and....curly would be. This was going to be interesting. Concentrating on his new look, he tap once on his head and said "Felintas" his hair was not short anymore it had grown so much like he almost looked like Rapunzel and with the curls he looked like a poodle! It was funny though, he couldn't help but laugh. This was the kind of homework he liked to do.

He shook his curly, long hair like in the shampoo TV comercials, with this hair he should try out for one and he definitely would nailedit; but now it was time to return to his short and straight hair, with two taps on his head he said "Intaris". He felt as the hair shortened and the curls disappear, wow it felt a lot better. He didn't understand how girls could have long hair. He checked his hair in the mirror to be sure everything was like before.

Done with the first spell Felintas, Nikolas continued on with Ristaris. It was time to change his hair color, he could use this spell on his sister, just imagine her with....orange hair. He definitely would try that.

Back to his transfiguration homework, Nikolas decided to turn his brown hair into blue. Now this was going to be a radical change, grabbing his wand again he tap once the top of his head and said "Ristaris" and thinking about the blue he wanted. After done the spell he walked over the mirror to see his new hair color. What in Merlin's beard? He had Ravenclaw in his hair, it was all blue. This was awesome! but not likely to wear it around school. Anyways, he certainly looked good with blue hair but brown was better...and normal.

Looking at his hair for the last time in the mirror, Nikolas tapped his head twice and said "Intaris" and that was it. Brown hair and back to normal. It has been a good practice but now it was time to go and finish the thousands of homeworks he had to do.

Matthew steeped into the practise room. He decided to try the new spell. He couldn't wait to try it on his cousin. Thomas would look wicked with purple hair! "Ristaris," he said clearly, blonde in mind. Great! It worked. He was blonde.

"Nice look Matthew., Lilly laughed. "Ristaris," she called firmly. Awsome. Bright red hair. She officially loved this spell.

Victoria strode quickly into the Transfiguration Practice room. She was in a such hyper mood today, and if her spell work gets weird that made her hair bright purple, that is probably why.

While preparing for this assignment, Victoria thought of bringing in a mirror so she could see how her hair is going to look like after doing the spell works. She can't improve her spell work if she can't see what she had done. So she brought a small, clear mirror which she laid it on the wall. She muttered a simple sticking charm which the mirror would stick to the wall. Afterwards, she would perform the countercurse and remove it.

Victoria ran her fingers through her hair one last time before performing the spells on her hair. She hoped nothing goes wrong because SHE LOVE HER HAIR!! End of Story. Period.

She took her wand and waved it above her head, while chanting. "Falintas!" Victoria looked at her reflection in the mirror. She wanted it to have bangs, but instead, streaks of a dirty blonde color stained on her hair. WHAT? IT'S NOT SURPPOSE TO DO THAT!!!

Okay, maybe she just got a little nervous. Her hair is extremely important to Victoria, and she just can't let her hair look like this. It's not that bad or anything, but it's bad enough that Victoria couldn't stand. She's very picky about her hair.

She tried the spell once again. And the same thing happened. Victoria repeated the spell over and over, but it's not getting any better. Soon, her hair is filled with different colors of streaks and even one or two small braids. IT'S NOT WHAT SHE WANTED!!

Victoria started to freak out a little. If she can't get her hair straight, does that mean she can't get it back to normal??

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Victoria glanced at her notebook one more time before trying it again. At least she's not giving up.


She was about to perform it again when something caught her eye. Victoria leaned closer to the book.



That's why she's doing it wrong! She had been saying the wrong enchantment!!! It's 'Felintas!', not 'Falintas!'. Victoria let out a sigh or relief and tried one more time.

"Felintas!" said Victoria clearly and carefully this time. At once, the front of her hair started to grow. Bangs. Yaaay...but the color didn't disappear.
