"Got lost?!" Kurumi was feeling a bit panicked hearing about a poor defenseless baby koala on its own in the middle of a giant...wherever.

Kurumi laughed. "Okay, no pink eyes then," she replied shaking her head. She hadn't actually tried the spell on eyes yet, and rather wanted to to be entirely honest, but maybe Jenny would go for something more along the lines of hazel instead of pink or lime green. She then tapped her wand twice on Jenny's head. "Intaris."

Okay, focus Kurumi, focus. Kurumi concentrated everything on her hair and sea green things. Sea green reminded her of the ocean and being on a boat, which then reminded her of this one time her and her family had taken a trip to Tokyo Island and been on a boat where Takashi had gotten so sick that he had turned green. Kurumi began to feel a bit queasy herself thinking about it, which could only help her situation now, right?

Kurumi shut her eyes tight when Jenny tapped her head, thinking only about the tossing waves and wishing Takashi would stop leaning over the side of the ship - the fish probably didn't enjoy it one bit. When Jenny said the spell, Kurumi's fists clenched and her hair changed in an instant. That ought to have done it, right?

"Don't worry, it didn't wander off too far, so it got found." Jenny reassured Kurumi, who was probably having a panic attack right now. "It just wanted more eucalyptus leaves than necessary...silly cub."

Jenny gave a small 'oh!' when Kurumi tapped her wand on her head twice. It was the counter-spell! Jenny picked her mirror and smiled when she saw her good old black hair again. Of course, having light blue hair was nice, but nothing beats the natural hair color.

A second later, Kurumi's hair changed color...finally. However, it was more greenish than she imagined. Hm. Wondering if she altered her wand movement again, Jenny looked down to realize that Kurumi was squinting her eyes and clenching her fists tight.

She raised an eyebrow. Why was Kurumi concentrating so much if Jenny was the one to perform the spell?

Minerva went into the transfiguration practice room. This was becoming one of her favorite places. As she walked into the classroom she noticed Kurumi with her eyes closed concentrating really hard. "hmm that's weird" Minerva thought. Why would Kurumi be concentrating when the other girl is the one doing the spell. Very interesting Minerva thought. She found a place at another table and decided to watch the two girls for awhile.

"They do like eucalyptus," Kurumi nodded. Personally, Kurumi really didn't like the smell. It was far too strong and she always wrinkled her nose at it. Junichiro had gone through a phase were he was SURE that the ladies liked the smell of it. He had gone almost a year without a date. Real thick headed her brother was.

Not hearing Jenny say anything, Kurumi wondered if it had worked at all. Slowly, she opened her eyes and was able to take a peek at herself in the mirror in Jenny's hands. Yep, just as she had imagined the color would be. A small smile tickled the corners of her lips and she looked up at Jenny, her stomach still feeling a little queasy, so there would be no reverting back just yet.

Wait...Jenny was raising an eyebrow at her...why? "What? Not a good color?" Like that wasn't obvious already.

Jenny blinked. Sounded like Kurumi was offended by Jenny's reaction already. "No, of course not. It's fine, but it was a bit greener than I expected, to be honest." Yeah, maybe she shouldn't focus so much on Kurumi's facial expressions. Jenny was being a bit too wary.

But Jenny still wondered what was going on with Kurumi's mind while she performed the spell. Didn't look like it was doing Kurumi any good.

Minerva got tired of watching them, but she was still wondering why Kurumi was concentrating so hard.. Oh well, Minerva tapped her head "Felintas" She opened her eyes. Her hair was very short and spiky. "Oh MY" Minerva said louder then expected. She hoped she didn't interrupt anyone else by her loud surprise.

"Oh..." Kurumi squeaked.What Jenny said did make perfect sense. Even if you held up the same piece of yellow fabric in front of two people, they would be seeing it differently just because of the way each person's eyes worked. This was, however, not exactly one of those times. This time it was like someone telling two people to find something yellow and one person bringing back something canary yellow and the other person something sunflower yellow. Kurumi smiled sheepishly. "Maybe the color just took to my hair differently?" Yes, it was a lame attempt to cover up what had happened.

Her feelings had calmed down now and she was floating on smooth waters in her mind, so Kurumi tapped her head twice, closed her eyes, and uttered the incantation. "Intaris." Now her hair was no longer the obvious sea green color that was causing awkwardness. Her hair was also back to its usual long black style and she bent down to pick up the hair tie that had fallen to the ground when she had changed her hair style earlier.

"Intaris" Minerva watched as her hair returned to normal.. She was really wanting some different spells. She looked over at Kumuri. "Hey Kurumi, you are an older student. Do you know any other transfiguration spells. I have gotten the hair changing down. I really want to try something else."

Kurumi turned around when she heard her name being called. "Oh, hello Minerva," Kurumi smiled with a polite bow. Other spells? Well, there was one that Kurumi had been working on refining for some time now. "There is one I was practicing the other day on my trunk," she said, gesturing towards her large brown trunk in the corner of the room with the blue circle around it. "It is a little difficult, so it will take you a few tries most likely. It is one that Professor Magnus taught when she first came to Hogwarts. Turns a piece of trash into whatever object you wish." Keeping Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration in mind of course.

Minerva was so into transfiguration and a new spell would be great. "That sounds great. Would you show me?"

"Of course," Kurumi nodded. Transfiguration was one of Kurumi's better subjects, but she hadn't really ever tried her hand at teaching it, save for Ari a little while back. "Um...first you need an object, something like trash. Do you have any crumbled up parchment or empty candy wrappers in your pocket?"

Kurumi wasn't even sure if she had anything in her pockets come to think of it.

"Hm, that's interesting." Jenny nodded. Of course, that would make sen...what? Was it because her natural hair color was a different shade of black? This was so confusing.

Jenny turned to see a Hufflepuff girl come up to Kurumi and ask questions. Hm, Kurumi was surely a popular person now because of her prefect status...nothing to be jealous about, though.

"Hi," Jenny waved meekly, hoping the girl would notice her. After a year away from Hogwarts, she still needed to improve her social skills for once! "I'm Jenny." She raised her hand in greeting, hoping for a handshake. However, best not to get her hopes up too high either.

"Hi Jenny, my name is Minerva." Minerva reached out her hand to shake Jenny's. "Umm let me see whats in my bag." Minerva walked over to her bag. SCORE. She still had some wrappers from muggle studies. "Kurumi would M&M wrappers work?"

Yep...interesting it was. Or something. Kurumi slowly took a step to the side, hoping that any focus that may have been on her hair was now forgotten. Her attention then went back to the Hufflepuff first year.

"That should be enough," Kurumi nodded. "I used a chocholate frog box my first time, so an M&M wrapper should do the trick." Or spell as the case may be. "Before practicing, do you know anything about Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration?" Because, they were very important to keep in mind when performing this spell.

Janice was wandering around the castle when she heard some voices coming from the Transfiguration Practice room. It's usually empty. She took a peep inside and saw a Huffie, not older than herself; a Ravenclaw and... *gulp* the Gryffindor Prefect.

Willow was making her way to the Transfiguration practice room when she bumped into a second year Hufflepuff!
"Oomf! Oh! Sorry, I didn't see you there!" Willow said quickly, hoping she didn't hurt the girl!
"Too busy daydreaming!" she laughed, nervously.

Since she couldn't find any suitable place somewhere else, Aiden decided to try it in the Transfiguration Practice Room. She comes after all the lessons ended, so she's wearing a casual and comfortable outfit rather than that bat-like robe.

Initially, she thought that she is going to be alone. But when she is getting closer to practice room, however, Aiden could here voices inside. She's not alone, she concludes. Inside the practice room, there's Kurumi and several other unidentified students who are not Slytherins (first years, maybe?). She couldn't help but to let go of a heavy sigh while moving on towards the end corner of the practice room which seems to be the furthest from the crowd. She wouldn't want people to see her doing that in the first place.

The pair of grey eyes look around the room, ensuring that no one is looking at her. Then, Aiden draws out her Hornbeam wand and taps it once on her head. "Felintas," she cites the incantation with a whispering voice. The long, draping hair shortens till her chin and the straightness disappear when it starts to curl up a little. "Ristaris," she taps her wand one more time on her head causing her dark hair to brighten and finally, turns cyan.

"Nice to meet you, Minerva." Jenny smiled. Then she noticed that Minerva took out some M&M's...oh wait, they look empty. Aw. But Minerva looked like she was about to do something with those wrappers. Best not to watch people though...it's not good to attract a crowd.

Jenny suddenly noticed that Kurumi took a step to the side. Now that made things just a bit more suspicious...was Kurumi hiding something? She gave the Gryffindor prefect a worried look. Hm. Should I just ask her what's going on?
Looking around while Kurumi and Minerva were talking, Jenny suddenly saw a cyan-haired girl. Whoops! Quickly Jenny turned back to the conversation in front of her.

She's practicing! Best to give her privacy. Jenny scolded herself. Plus, that girl was a Slytherin; one can never tell what goes on in a Slytherin's mind.

"UMM I think I read something about it, but could you refresh my memory. I have read so many things lately it is beginning to all come together." Minerva was feeling a bit overwhelmed lately with all the classes.

Kurumi heard something that sounded somewhat like a duck being hit over the head mid honk. She turned to look over her shoulder and saw that it had merely been a young Hufflepuff gulping - although the expression on her face wasn't exactly a pleasant one. Kurumi cocked her head to the side and followed her line of sight...which fell right on her badge. "Hello," she said with a polite nod.

And then one of her little lions entered the room and ran right smack into the Huffepuff who had been in shock at seeing Kurumi. "Willow, hello," Kurumi smiled. "Were you looking to practice some spells as well?"

There seemed to be a small crowd gathering and Kurumi was starting to get the feeling that she probably should speak with Professor Magnus about perhaps starting up a Transfiguration club.

As Kurumi stepped to the side, Kurumi saw a young snake practicing over in the corner and smiled slightly before looking back at Jenny. "You were here for when Professor Magnus taught us Covahdium, right?"

Kurumi laughed. "There certainly is always a lot of information to take in." Her mind went to Charms class and just HOW much information had been given during that lesson. "There are 5 in total, but not all of them would really be concerned with at the moment - I doubt you are going to try and bring someone back from the dead using that wrapper. So, just keep in mind for now that you cannot make food and you won't be able to transfigure something massive out of the wrapper."

Noticing all the students that have appeared Minerva started to get a little worried. "Kurumi if you don't want to teach me with all these other students around I will understand."

Merlin first years could be jumpy and nervous. Kurumi knew she had been that way as a first year, probably worse actually. "It's not a problem, I need to practice the spell myself," she replied shaking her head. Really, Kurumi didn't mind. It was all a matter as to whether or not Minerva was too shy having an audience.

Minerva got a smile on her face. Thank goodness Kurumi didn't mind people maybe watching, because she really wanted to get to know Kurumi better, but also to learn a new spell."Well then show away. You don't mind if I take some notes, do you?"

Harvey sneaked into the practice room and just stood there watching Minnie, he didnt want to do anything else but watch her to his heart's content.

Kurumi blushed. "N-Now, keep in mind that I am not a professor and Professor Magnus knows loads more about the subject, but I can at least teach you the incantation and wand movement," Kurumi said shyly to Minerva, and really anyone else who was in the room that wanted to try.

She cleared her throat. "Oh, um, sure, notes always help..." Was it hot in the practice room? Possibly. "So, the incantation is Covadium...try saying that a few times first. Co- vah- dium." She paused for the Hufflepuff to repeat after her.
