Gideon took notes on the spells being discussed, the boy however staying quiet as he simply listened to the answers being given. Transfiguration was one of his favorite subjects and not just because he had any prociency or because of the abilities of his parts but it did play a part. The Gryffindor watched as the professor changed her hair, the fourth year raising an eyebrow wondering if it would really work on his unruly hair. Would certainly be interesting to see what he'd look like without it. But then Professor Magnus explained the reasoning behind it and he nearly groaned. Clowns?! Not a fun prospect at all and it would mean keeping the curls just changing them colors making it more ackward. And costumes? This class was soooo not turning out the way he thought it might, especially when mention on metamorphus' was first brought into play. With a soft sigh, Gideon got up from his seat to head to the front of the class to grab what would be needed while his gaze looked around for a partner. |

Clowns! We get to be clowns for a class. That was hilarious, Jesifur got up and grabbed a costume and some paints. Pulling her robes off and the costume on she was already feeling funnier. This was just like when she played dress up with her cousins, which they had done many times. Face painting was always her job when they dressed up so this would be fun! |

ooc: The site has been down and I just managed to get in now. Alyssa again was disappointed that she wasn't fast enough to provide the answers the Professor had asked the students. She knew the first answer was Metamorphmagi and that one of the spells mentioned Felintas was to change the length and style of the hair but she hadn't been sure about the second answer and that's why she had waited to answer. But she knew that she should have tried to answer at least once, because now it was too late to say anything. She was angry at herself. She was so darned slow. Sigh! and for that her house would not win any points today. She really wasn't in the mood to play dress up now but she knew that she had to continue with the class. She moved forward when the Professor asked everyone to pick up a set of face paints and grabbed a costume from one of the trunks. She really didn't care what she looked like. She was feeling like a dummy anyway, she might as well dress like one. She went to change into her costume and looked around to see whether there was anyone who didn't have a partner yet. Quote:

Clowns? Clowns were creepy. Still, Olivia guessed this lesson could be fun and she was glad that they were actually going to be able to practice magic in this lesson. She needed all the practice she could get. She went up to the front of the classroom and got a costume - it was quite cute and she always had enjoyed dressing up - and picked up some facepaints too before making her way back to her seat. She sat there, knowing that she should try and find a partner to work with but she was far too nervous. She'd never been particularly good in social situations and while that was improving now she was at Hogwarts, she still wasn't comfortable enough to go and ask to work with someone. |

"Anyway. Want to be a happy or sad clown?" she grinned. |
CLOWNS? CLOWNS. The professor definitely showed her dramatic side through this lesson and Lola was found fiddling her fingers with excitement, her top hat on her desk, twitching somewhat. "Costumes???" Eyes wide, mouth open, she immediately hopped off her seat and grabbed the beautiful garment. After changing, she presented herself to the class, her hands in the air and gesturing such deep arm movements. I--I am a tree, my limbs swaying gracefully through the air! "Partners? Anybody? I wish to present the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP to my lovely peers," she said enchantingly. With an oh-so-angelic smile on her face, she grabbed the sets of face paint. Anybody? Lola was just so desperate to show off her artistic skills. |

In fact, she wasn't even going to partner up with anyone until LOLA offered the World a partner. Then... "Little Hutchinson!" Ellie called to Indiana, and made a motion with her head for the girl to come join her. Yeah, she was NOT going to be left with LOLA as her partner. She could paint the little girl's face. And maybe she'll let Little Hutchinson paint hers. But that was as far as she was going with this 'clown' business. |

"I'd usually agree...but this is participation and we both care about our grades." The blonde frowned, looking at the front of the classroom where the clown accessories were displayed. "Did I ever tell you I was deathly scared of circus clowns? I think I might hyperventilate if I put on that outfit..." |

Looking up when she mentioned the carnival, his mind raced back to the rollercoaster and he smiled stupidly. "Right!" he said before turning to look at the girl. "I want to be a ducky " he whined as he pouted his lips. "But if we have to become clowns..." DUH that was the lesson right? "Then i'll pick a happy one of course!" Daichi didn't like sadness , even though it was a emotion too. He prefered being happy so a happy clown it was. "What about you?" |

"This is gonna be so much fun." The first year giggled, with a big smile. She hoped Ellie wouldn't get too annoyed because she was so excited, because that wuld be reaaallly bad. |

Indiana was going all out with this, wasn't she? It was quite cute, actually, how excited she was. And Ellie couldn't say that she wouldn't have been just as excited in her first year. "Tons!" she said, the enthusiasm was forced, but Indy probably wouldn't notice. "Let's see...why don't you put that on," she pointed to the costume, "first? And then we'll do your make up? That way you won't get the make up all over the costume." Logic. |

"I guess..." he started, "I'll be your partner." He had a feeling that as soon as she heard this, she would throw her arms around him and squeal and...well, do other absurd things. |

Staring at the Slytherin girl as if she were suddenly speaking another language, Evelyn took a quick peak at those outfits and cringed. "Marilyn..." she said, failing to finish her sentence. Hyperventilate if she put the outfit on? Evelyn may do just that, but for an entirely different reason. "Well then...what if we just painted eachothers faces?" Hmmm? "Not like a clown though. Just like, a butterfly near our eyes or something like that." That was clown-ish enough, wasn't it? Marilyn had a point about them both caring about their participation grades. |
Clowns? *wibble* Clowns were mean. They once robbed his mother and took his ice cream too. No. He was not participating. Folding his arms across his chest like a stubborn child, Ezra sulked in his seat, feeling uneasy as everyone kick-started their painting jobs. Although he was no Picasso, he liked to paint. And those face paints had a very come hither look going on. Oh, the dilemma. After several minutes of reflecting, Ezra stopped by the front desk and grabbed a set of clown supplies, "Yoohoo, I need a partner." He called out, glancing around the class for a friendly face to ruin. |

Ooh. Indy bet that Ellie would be good at make up. She smiled at Ellie after she had put her costume on. "Readdy." She giggled, with a big smile. |

"A duck?" she giggled looking from the yellow paint to Daichi. She wanted to be an animal as well! "Tell you what. I'll give you an orange mouth. That's sort of like a duck beak right?" Sort of, but not really. If only they could have just painted whatever they wanted, but it was a lesson after all. "I'll be the sad clown then!" She laughed. Sad clowns were more interesting, they had more of a story to them. Plus she prefered the blue paint. |
Text Cut: Delusional Professor O__________________________O WHAT?! Ryden was NOT going to do that. She would NOT. Did the professor even SEE herself?! She looked ridiculous! The blonde looked on, aghast, as people actually began getting in pairs and going up to change into those COSTUME THINGS and take the clown make up. NO. SHE WOULD NOT. Folding her hands over her chest, she waited to see what would happen. SURELY she wasn't the only one, right?! Bloody hell, transfiguration professors were MENTAL. And as far as partners went, Ryden was NOT pairing up with that Slytherin girl. NO WAY NO. ... But that boy who'd just asked. . . Well. He SEEMED normal. She could be persuaded into it. HOW did THIS have ANYTHING to do with transfiguration?! |

Tori sank down in her seat and folded her arms with a little huff, clearly upset at the idea of ruining her already perfect face with a pound of makeup. Ugh eww eww and yuuuuuuuck. She was sulking. Quote:
"Yoooohoo," she called back to the boy, waving her hand in front of his face, "I'll be your partner." Heheh. She'd get to put makeup on a BOY. Yay. |

Oh gosh. How ridiculous she looked. Magnus probably had cameras disillusioned around the room that she was magically setting off on occasion, documenting the embarrassment she was putting those gullible enough to obey her orders through. The Fifth year plastered a smile on her face for Indiana's sake. "Excellent. Now," she opened the make up box and pulled out the paints, "Do you want to look like the clown on the box? Or mix it up a bit?" Like hearts instead of those boring squares or whatever they were. |

"Hi!" She greeted with a smile. "Want to be partners?" If she said yes, and she hoped that she would, Kourtney could get a costume and they could get started. |

"Yoohoo to you too." He grinned, handing her the costume. "I'm Ezra. And you?" He figured it was better to ask names as soon as possible because he had this habit of not introducing himself to others altogether."Or do you prefer referring to ourselves as clown no. 1 and clown no. 2." Hehe. He liked that idea better. "We're SO going to be in character!" He beamed, excited to paint her a new face. Oooh. There were sooo many ideas swimming around in his head. |
