O__o Excuse me? Did.. the teacher say that they had to be clowns? Like all of them? Even the ones with the word 'teen' in their age? Like her? Fourteen? It meant they were not children hence no-clowns-fans. Louisa watched as everyone got a partner. They were serious? She scoffed a few times, blinked, and stayed glued to her spot. She was not going to draw on her face. No. That was too childish! ... she'd like to do it on someone, though. Just to practice the spell. Looking around she started to scan the students for the most suitable |

What was this? Lola was awkwardly twirling her arms, waiting for someone to go and partner up with her. Beneath her interpretive dancing, the girl felt cold, lonely, REJECTED by society. As she was about to leap out for the next step into being an outcast, this young, young angel stepped out of his way... to save her... from the abyss. So innocent. So un-corrupted. She wanted to own this boy. "Oh, you," she started, dramatically putting her hand to her face as if touched by his kindness, "so sweet! Thy shalt never disown a sweet, SWEET little fawn as you are right now..." Lola then cradled her partner in her arms for a moment or so, running his fingers through his hair and then--his hair--HIS HAIR... A GIFT FROM THE GODS? Slowly, she ran through his hair one more time. She needed to take a breath, this was too much for the Lola Jones. "Let's start with your make-up darling, now now, you'll look GAAAAHRGAHHHS~" Oh how lucky he was to have a partner like her. |
Jenny raised her eyebrows. Clowns? Really? She had the unfortunate luck of meeting a very depressed, suicidal clown in the streets once...she didn't need a reminder of that again. Going with the inevitable anyway, Jenny walked up to the front of the class and grabbed some face paint and a costume. She looked around to see if anyone was looking for a partner...but then again, did she really want to wear clown make-up? And then there's the fact that she hadn't talked to anyone since term started.... |
Quote:
But she had never been to a carnival and had no idea what a clown was supposed to look like, so she really, really needed another student to pair up with. She turned her head back and forth, looking around the room, desparately hoping she could find another unpaired student. |
Quote:
Which it did. Once it was over her head, Tori was absolutely certain that she looked ridiculous. No need to make the situation worse by going by 'Clown 2.' "No thanks," she informed Ezra. "We've got enough clowning around to do just with the costumes and the makeup." Har har. "Can I paint you first?" She smiled sweetly and reached out for the paints. Heheheheh. He was gonna look SO be-you-tiful! |
All you miserable peeps are so precious. :P Isabelle grinned as student by student came up and grabbed a costume and make up kit. Then she looked around at the faces of the rest of them. My, they were so....not enjoying it. Frowning, Issy called out over the hubbub. "I know some of you won't want to make yourselves look silly," she got that from the swimming caps incident at the pond, "but really, why don't you just have a bit of fun? I promise I won't make you all change your hair colour to this red if you don't want. It can be any colour you wish." So long as they went poofy with the style. OOC: I'll be moving on to the spells soon. Remember if you can't find a partner, you can do it on your own. ;P You grumpy pants are cute. |

The site keeps going down! :( Quote:
Although..."I'm just concerned that part of the participation will come from actually wearing them..." Ugh, Merlin help them if that were the case. No one needed to see her at such a low point dressed like a flipping clown. Like the blonde wasn't shamed enough right now. ...And she was positive that Evelyn would have rather been tortured to within an inch of her life than to put that offending garment on. *blink* Butterflies? She nodded. That was a nice idea and all..."If we go that way, I'd like to get some honey bees...I could paint some rubber duckies..." |

Yes, she brags about her limitless intelligence all the time. *smirk* |

Thank Merlin Orlando wasn't here. Okay... Partner. "YOU, freaky girl from last year - you're my partner, mmk?" she called out, standing up and walking over to her. Perfect partner. She could see that the girl wasn't happy, just like her, and this assignment would move much faster if she could bicker with someone. |
Quote:
Pulling it out, she walked back towards the girl and began to pull the baggy costume over her uniform. "I"m Kourtney." She introduced herself as she dressed. Once she had finished, she sat at the desk next to her new partner. "Ready? What pattern do you want painted?" |
Quote:
They agreed on the face paint, but the outfit still... "Then I'm losing half of my participation points." she muttered as she stood up to get one of the face painting kits. NOT the outfit. Nooooooo, she didn't go anywhere near those, and if she did, she just STARED at them, daring them to touch her. Evil things. Sitting back down in her seat, she stared at the face painting kit before...placing it on Marilyn's desk. Hmmm, her own desk was full of notebook, quill, and ink. No room. Hehe. |

"I'm not a freaky girl. I'm Louisa." She gave a smirk, "And I'm not your slave." She pronounced the last word very slowly, the way this Ryden addressed her was so... not equalish. So. On the other hand, Louisa preferred to do a mess on her face! ^__^ That should be fun. She faked a sweet smile, "Let's go mess ourselves." Hmph. Louisa headed for the box to get a costume. This day was not going to be on the happy section in her diary. She knew it. |

Olivia would be happy with whatever was painted on her face, just because she wouldn't be doing it herself like she undoubtedly would have had to do if she'd moved on to her Muggle secondary school. |
Partner? Quote:
Quote:
But she did as she was told to get the supplies she stalked off to the table to collect her things. It was not like she needed to change her hair color... it was already ridiculous enough. When she got back she would change the style though with the spell on the board. She sat down and looked around for a partner, "Anyone need a partner?" |
Quote:
"Okay, so let's get something out of the way. I promise not to make you look silly if you don't do it to me, ok? I'd rather NOT spend hours in front of the mirror after this so if you please no heavy things," Ryden stated, and grabbed a make up kit and a costume. The blonde scowled at the constume. BLEAAAAHHHH. She'd get dressed later after she saw that EVERYONE were doing it. Not before. |
Quote:
Excellent! Free reign! With a happy smile, Kourt popped the top to one of paint containers and removed a brush. "Oo, a surprise. Great idea." She busied herself filling out Olivia's face in white, as most clown's faces were. Then she switched to color paints. Hmm...flowers might be nice. Carefully, she started to paint the stem of the flower on Olivia's cheek. She was no expert by any means, but it looked pretty good. Tracing the petals now, she worked the brush in small circles and added a leaf or two. With a giggle, she set the brush down. "I think I'm done; it's a pretty flower." |
because Stella won't let me not post. xD Even though she's not yay about clowns. Stella had been excited about Transfiguration class, just because it had always been one of her favorite classes. Unlike the others in the room, though, she didn't have any biases about the professor. Seeing as every one of them was new to her and she'd given the woman a smile as the lesson started. She could properly greet her later, it seemed, as class had gotten underway rather quickly and her time was needed for taking notes. The topic of metamorphmagi was always interesting to her, especially as she'd always wanted to know one. Something told her the professor wasn't one, though, even before the lesson had devolved into chaos. Why couldn't this lesson have been like Charms?, she thought, noting down the two spells even as she'd wished they didn't have to act all silly. Risa would have died if she'd had to make herself look like a clown, and Stella was quickly realizing she needed to do some quick thinking if she was going to not make herself look like an idiot. Wondering if there was a way to transfigure the costumes, she'd wandered up to grab one as people started pairing off, along with a makeup kit. She wasn't against working with someone else, but maybe she could manage the changes in her head better by herself. Unless her partner was on board for not being traditional. |
Quote:
Yeah. Right. "Then I would be Prince Ezra Prokopowicz Blackwood." He replied with a slight bow and a smirk, " And I will be your Prince for the day, Princess Tori." He was prince material, right? Of course. He was legendary. OH wow. She looked hideous. The red hair didn't help either. "You look exquisite, my Princess." He complimented, holding back a chuckle. But sadly, it was his time to turn hideous. Oh boy. Slipping into the costume, he glanced around gingerly to see if someone noticed his wacky costume. Should he go first? He eyed Tori. She looked evil right now. Pure evil. "Alright but mind you, I don't like pink." He gave her a stern look then proceeded to sit on his bench, "Okay, let's get this party rolling!" This isn't happening. :whaa: |
ahmahgawd Lola is perfect! Quote:
"Girly, could you--you're squishing--" Oh, great. He was stuck for good and that pretty feminine smell was definitely apart of him. Next thing you know, he'd be walking down the hall smelling like honeysuckle perfume. "Mweettt gooooo--" Rory was let go, but only for a second. All of a sudden, this girl was running her fingers through his hair, as if she had never seen hair before. "Heh. You like my hair, huh? Yeah, I use this--" Nope. No time to talk. She was ready to get started with the make-up. WAIT A SECOND. "NO, NO, NO. I want to paint YOU. I don't want to get painted! No! Noooo!" Oh, great. This was not a part of the plan. Awesome Rory can't be the victim of someone's horrible make-up job. He wanted to paint someone else and...argh! With his teeth chattering and more sweat drops running down his forehead, he sat down in a chair, waiting for the worst moment of his life to occur. |

At least they both had one step of the hair done naturally, he mused absently taking notice of her red hair. "Technically I do," he answered, making his way over to her desk. "That if you'll have me. Not sure about all this dressing up though." he admitted giving up on the costumes. he had dressed up in similar getup when he was younger for halloween...he didn't need to go back there. |

Jesifur shrugged and picked up the paint and gave her face a white base. Above and below her eyes she painted small black triangles with little dots just beyond the points. For the lips Jesifur blotted the white on the corners and edges of her mouth and took the red and painted an almost heart shaped lip on. For the final touch on the left cheek she painted two bright blue teardrops. "There," she said holding up a mirror for the girl to see, "What do you think?" "You can do whatever for me, I'm feeling a bit adventurous already." she said smiling. |
got you! Quote:
Caroline must have dozed off or was day dreaming. Partners they needed partners? She scanned the room as she got up to get what she needed. On the way back to her seat she looked around for a partner. She could just do it alone. Until she seen Selina sitting there. Was she looking for a partner? "Selina, Want need a parnter?" she grinned at the younger girl. |
Quote:
"My turn now!" Olivia grabbed a brush and the paints. "Any requests?" |
Quote:
Bending down to the box, she grabbed a costume, gave it a disapproving look with a gesture of gagging just for special effects like in the movies and faced Ryden. "Well...? How are we supposed to wear those things?" She raised her costume in a careless way slapping a few students in the process - no apologies today, though; She was turning into a clown! |
Ohhhh!! They were getting to play DRESS UP! Destiny, being the eighteen year old that she was, still enjoyed doing things like that. The make-up, she could live without, but it was going to be like a clown, so that was okay. And the hair! She wanted hers red just like Professor Magnus'. Just.. without the curls. Grinning widely, she glanced around the room looking for a partner. She was just about to call for Evelyn, but she seemed to be busy with Marilyn.. Carter! When did he sit next to her? Oh well. That didn't matter. He was now her partner. "Caaaarteeeer. Can I put your make-up on for you?" Please!? |
Quote:
When it was time for her to speak, she stood up, "Professor. Those people are called Metamorphmagus. Which in its plural form if Metamorphmagi." she answered. After giving her idea, she returned back to her seat. |
Quote:
At the slightest comment of apprehension about dressing up Selina nodded vigoriously. She was NOT into this assignment at all. She already felt degraded because of her hair color and dressing up only made it worse, "I completely agree. I mean, first the hair thing... and this... but it's an assignment so I guess we should probably get a move on, huh? So I guess we should change our hair, right?" Sigh... well the one step of changing Selina's hair at least. Her blue eyes traveled up to his hair and she suddenly realized something, "Wait... you only have to change one thing about your hair too." |
Quote:
But then, she doesn't have a partner yet. Beezus looked around and saw almost all the other students with partners already and starting with their make-ups. But she can't find anyone who'll possibly pair with her. "Errrr....Does anyone want to pair with me ?" she called out to the busy crowd. |
Quote:
Carter wondered if he'd feel more comfortable with Shaw and the chainsaw. ...At least the professor didn't call it 'dress up'. o_O Carter sunk slightly in his chair when Destiny asked if she could do his 'makeup'. "It's face paint Destiny." Not makeup. "And..." he gave a quick look around the room. If Destiny was his best choice to sit next to, she was probably his best choice for a partner. "Sure. As long as I can paint a sheep on your face." Because, Destiny reminded Carter of sheep. And despite thinking about it for years, he still had no idea how that sheep got on top of the television at her house. "Do you want to get the... clown suits? And I'll go get the paint." he suggested. And yes. He was about to trust Destiny to pick out a clown suit for him. |
Quote:
Kourtney wiggled in her seat as it was now her turn. "Hmm...maybe a pretty butterfly?" She asked. "But that can be a little hard; if you can't do that, then just pick whatever. I'm not hard to please." |
Quote:
Like usual... Taking the colors from the package, she laid them out on her desk (since Evelyn's was SOOOO overrun) to let her partner choose. The snob in her was pleased that the Head Girl was just as opposed to wearing the clown suits. Seriously, Marilyn had traumatic experiences linked to circus clowns. It was hard to think about what her emotional reaction would have been to actually putting one on. "If you want butterflies, we could do RED ones for Joshua..." |
... ... ...paint his face? ... ... ...wear a costume? João could only blink and stay glued to his chair as people's mental stage turned out to be at the age of only seven. In fact, he didn't do such a silly thing even when he was seven. He only watched with a slightly disgusted and confused expression as if he was seeing such a thing for the first time. Well, he indeed was seeing people ABOVE the age nine playing such a child's game. He'd rather pass that, thank you. |
Amethyst blushed softly as she went to go put on a costume. She giggled softly as she looked down at herself. "I look gorgeous", she said softly, being very sarcastic. She went over and began to put the make-up on. She did this in a near mirror. |
Quote:
"Nice to meet you, I'm Jenny," she greeted in return as she thoroughly dipped her fingers in green paint. One second later, she (gently) poked at the Gryffindor's face - ninja style. "Payback!" Jenny grinned. Bright green polka dots were scattered all over Nathan's face. Perhaps that was a bit mean; he didn't even look like a clown yet. |
Merlin this class moves fast o__________________O No sleeping for me I guess xD Kurumi sat very quietly as Professor Magnus began the lesson, wishing now more than ever that she had been able to have that personal discussion with her. Did the lesson really have to discuss Metamorphagi? Kurumi sunk down low in her seat in the front, wishing very much that she could just disappear right there and feeling completely uninclined to chime in for any of the questions. The topic was one that those close to her knew she tried to avoid. She had spent the first three terms at Hogwarts hiding and even now, despite the support and training from her father, still didn't accept that part of herself. She did take notes on the two spells, but didn't make much other movement until they were instructed to gather some face paints. Kurumi slowly made her way to the front of the room and took a set from Professor Magnus, pausing for a moment to collect her thoughts. "P-Professor...will these spells work on people that can already change their appearance at will? I-I mean...will they still work properly on Metamorphagi?" Her eyes were downcast and she couldn't bring herself to look at the woman. If only she had been able to have that conversation... ---- Kurumi then made her way back to her seat and watched as everyone else paired up and began painting each other's faces. Kurumi's face, however, was a bit gloomy and she merely set the paints on her desk and waited. |
Quote:
She started with a base coat of white all over Kourtney's face before turning her attention to the shape of a butterfly. Then she grabbed the red paint and painted the base coat of the wings, one on each cheek. The center of her face became the body of the butterfly and the antennae on her forehead. Once that was done she added other colours on the wings, blues, yellows and greens. It was a shame there was no glitter really... "All done!" she said with a grin, hoping that it would be okay. |
Quote:
"Yep, already have the curly hair all my life," he answered smiling as Selina registered what he had already picked up on. It wouldn't be too much of a change for either of them and as long as they did the spell right it shouldn't look too terrible. And it would be reversible."Just need the red hair or whatever color we make it," he added. Should he just make it red and match hers when she went curly? |
Under no circumstances did Presley want ANYBODY putting paint on her face. She'd picked up her stuff, and now it sat on her desk, while she glared at the offensive objects. Why on Godrics green earth did they have to look like clowns to perform a spell? Pres couldn't do spells right now anyway. Her freaking wand arm was in a cast! But to be able to change her eye color? For as long as she could remember, Presley had wanted to be able to change her appearance at will. Her eyes especially. They'd been vibrant purple until she was about eight, at which point they'd begun slowly changing. Now they were an amber brown. And she wanted her purple back. It had made her unique. Well, excepting Kurumi and Violet. |
Text Cut: Sarah and Professor Magnus<3 They were.. being clowns for this lesson? How.. how odd. But strangely fitting. Brooke watched the professor as she changed her hair, and was a bit unsure of it. "Professor?" she called. "There's a way to reverse the.. hair right?" THERE HAD TO BE. She shrugged off her robe quickly, knowing she wouldn't need it. With a little giggle, Brooklyn hopped up from her seat and skipped over to the trunks full of clown-wear. With a grin, she threw on one of the costumes over her clothes and and glanced down at it. Sure, it was the most HIDEOUS thing she had ever seen, but if she were to be a clown, what would it matter? She glanced about the room after picking up a painting kit. "Anyone want me to paint their face?" Although.. she wasn't quite sure what she'd paint on someone's face. Maybe white? then put triangles and other shapes on their cheeks? Yeah, that seemed right. |
Quote:
With a grin, Kourt leaped up and scampered back to her desk, pulling open her bag and rummaging through it. Ah, she knew she had it. Walking back towards Olivia, she peered at herself in the mirror. "Oh, wow. This came out great!" She looked up, her eyes bright. "Too bad we can't make the wings move." She laughed and handed the mirror to Olivia for her to see Kourtney's work. |
Quote:
"It looks like people are just... sort of dropping theirs on," the fifth year added, taking a look at the other students. The fact that they already had them on astounded her. People here would apparently never cease to do that. |

"Errrr.. hello, I see you don't have a partner. Can I just be it then ?" she asked hesitantly. When the girl nodded, they immediately started the make-up and costume session. Paint. Paint. Paint. Paint. |

"Face paint, makeup. It both goes on your face, right?" Unless there were other places to put makeup that Destiny didn't know about. But, she was not going to think about that. No, she was going to make puppy dog eyes at Carter until he agreed to let her. And it didn't take very long. Clapping her hands together excitedly, she nodded her head. "Sure, sure. You can put a sheep on my face." Although, she wasn't sure what that had to do with being a clown. At least she'd make sure Carter would look like a clown. And he would be the best clown in the class! She raised an eyebrow as he whispered about the clown suits, and replacing her grin with a smirk, she hopped from her desk and made her way to the trunks up front. The Gryffindor was lucky all the costumes were the same. Picking up two, she skipped her way back over to her seat and placed one of the suits onto his desk. She was so excited! |

Again. That was the most miraculous lesson in Louisa's school life - and not the good side of a miracle. "I can paint you first," she announced quickly, "You know, I'll do some splatters of colors that match your outfit." HEHEHE. "Cool?" And yes, she wasn't going to transform the girl's face to a stinking shrimp - Louisa was nice like that. |
Quote:
Alyssa picked up the paint and also painted Jesifur's face white. She then picked up the brush and lightly painted a dusting of light blue paint above her both eye line...like eye shadow. Then she lightly brushed some pink circles a little above Jesifur's cheeks. Alyssa then dipped her finger in some of the blue paint and drew teardrops right above the middle of each of Jesifur's eyes. Then she drew 3 lines branching out from the sides of each eye just like laugh wrinkles. Alyssa then picked up the red paint and dipping her finger in it, she drew a small red heart on Jesifur's nose. Then she painted Jesifur's lips with red paint and for the finishing touch, she painted a little heart at each end of Jesifur's lips so that when she smiled, it was as if she was smiling with her heart too,". "There you go. I'm not sure I did as good job as you did, but I hope that you like it, Jesifur". |
Violet & I are giving up... Violet had given up on getting a partner and gloomily gone up alone to get a paint kit and costume. She felt utterly humiliated that she hadn't found anyone, as well as worried that she would not be able to handle the assignment alone. What in Merlin's name was a clown and what was one supposed to look like? Judging by the clothes she had in her hands, the idea was to make yourself as ridiculous as possible. Violet did not like to make herself ridiculous--her mother's family did a good enough job of that to give her her fill of it. She tried to look around at other people out of the corners of her eyes to try to get a hint of what she was supposed to do, but it was hard to see without staring outright, and she didn't want to be accused of cheating. Finally, she gave up and began to paint her face like the stained glass window in the top of the front door of the house she lived in. It may not be right, but at least she would get this over with. ((OOC: And I have to logoff & go to rehearsal now...)) |
Sarah raised her eyebrows. Interesting. And yet... AWESOME! Clustering towards the front like the rest of the students she gathered the items she needed. Then, returning to her desk, she decided that she wanted to do her own face. After all, it would be more funny if she could see what she was doing. If only technology worked at Hogwarts and she could take a picture to send home... She shrugged and set to work on her makeup. |

SPOILER!!: Professor William sat in his chair, parchment and quill and ink resting on the desk. As the Professor asked them about people who can change their appearance, he instantly became alert. Fortunately, he had just read up on metamorphagi, and his hand shot up the minute Professor Magnus asked the question. "They're called Metamorphagi, Professor," he said, lowering his hand. He began writing down what she said afterwards. Having no idea what the spells could be, he remained taciturn as the other students made guesses. Everything was fine and dandy until Professor Magnus mentioned the carnival. Will had had a bad experience at that carnival, having been scared witless by the magistrate operating the Ferris Wheel, and having been dragged onto the ride by a complete stranger with other strangers as well. And now they were going to dress like them? William did not like this one bit. Slightly disgruntled, he stood up and retrieved the baggy clown costume. He felt foolish, putting on the ridiculous attire. But he then remembered that everyone was going to be looking absurd as well, which comforted him somewhat. Yup, he did look ridiculous. He now needed to find a partner. His eyes scanned the classroom, but, being short and all as a first-year, it was hard to see everyone in the classroom. |
SPOILER!!: Kurumi As Kurumi came up the front to collect the things, Isabelle smiled at her and handed her the set of paints. But something seemed to be wrong. Frowning as the prefect spoke, she took in the question. Hmm, she had a feeling she knew what this question was based on, considering the Gryffindor's want to talk to her earlier in the week. Putting a hand on her shoulder she smiled. "Don't worry, it'll be fine." Quote:
-------------------------------------------------------- Tapping her head twice, Isabelle's hair slowly went back to it's original long dark hue. "Right then everyone, you've had a while to put on your costumes and the face paints - and I must say most of you are looking very good. Others appear to think they can get away with sitting and doing nothing." Grabbing a couple of face paint boxes and costumes, Issy walked around the tables of the kids that were not getting involved, and placed them down. Yes, it may be silly, but why not get in character to perform the spell? "Okay then, once you have all finished doing that, please watch me as I properly demonstrate the first spell. I'll be handing out mirrors for you all to perform this on yourselves, as I'd rather you didn't practice on each other just yet." Not much could go wrong, admittedly, but Issy didn't want to take any risks with spell work. Holding her wand above her head, she lowered it gently and tapped once on her crown area "Fel-in-tas!" Her hair changed again, this time to a short bob style. Grinning, Issy moved her hand away and looked around at the kids. "Now the wand movement is as simple as tapping your head once. But the concentration is the hardest part. You really need to picture in your minds eye the style and length you wish your hair to be. In your case like a clown - although there are MANY different types of clown hair. We'll move on to colours when you have all completed this spell properly." Removing the hand held mirrors from the other box, Isabelle placed some on the desk and held a few in her hands. "First I would like you all to come and get a mirror, then imagine how you are going to look. Once you are confident you can commence practice." She was just about to hand over the first mirror when she remembered something. "If you wish to revert back to your ordinary hair, and try more than one style, the counter spell is 'Int-ar-is' - with two taps on your head as you say it, concentrating on what you looked like before. I'll do that for you if you don't feel confident enough to try yourselves." Scribbling on the board she added the new pieces of information. Quote:
OOC: I'm heading to bed now, but Isabelle will always be there watching. Just follow the instructions she's given, and please HAVE FUN! No excessive chatter though, and no bad behaviour. heh. I'll move on to the second spell tomorrow. |

It seemed the little boy had also been proud of his hair. How could she blame him? "NO NO NO, I must start the make-up, I'm suddenly INSPIRED by that little hair of yours," she said, forcefully grabbing his hand and then making him sitting down but noticed that he seemed downright nervous. Hmm? HMM? Lola stared right into his eyes, her eyes seeping through his soul and wondering if he already knew how beautiful he would look after this wonderful make-up transformation. She closed her eyes and then within seconds, opened them all so artistically, reaching her hands for open air because she was therefore, grabbing all of the inspiration particles around her. Lola got the brush and as soon as she held on to the medium, the little boy's face was a canvas. Tedious precision... it all had to be beautiful... BEAUTIFUL... BEAUTIFUL! "This heart will represent happiness, love, and warmth from your mother!" she started, drawing a huge red heart on his forehead. "What's your name, my darling?" He needed a name or else she would have to name him. "AND VOILA!" Flailing her arms in the air, she grinned at the result, showing her happiness and sadness because well, the boy's face was basically art. She handed him a mirror and started explaining it all. "I already explained the heart--oh doesn't it look lovely? I wanted to go really artistic on this one, as you can see--the yin-yang symbol on your right eye! I really wanted to incorporate that because it shows the importance of a balanced mind, oh don't you love it?" Her eyes were now into his, so proud of her work. "The flower represents serenity... and you can see that rose on the other side, SYMBOLIZING the conflicts and triumph of love!" She twirled him around for a while, still admiring her very own work. NO WAIT THERE WAS MORE. "Now... my favorite part... the moustache--you can just see how one is up and own is down. This represents OPPRESSION in our corrupted society and how we've all been generalized into mere classes than individual human beings!" "And I thought you would look so much better with a goatee." Pleased with her result, Lola quickly sat down in the seat of her own. "Now you do me!" |

Oh, the horror. OH THE HORROR. Please, if Merlin existed, let him NOT make Orlando walk through those doors now. Or suddenly appear in the front seat or something. "Fine. Remember what we agreed," Ryden shrugged, sat down, closed her eyes and sighed. Here goes a nightmare. Text Cut: professor Ryden watched and listened, stone faced. She did NOT like this professor. NOT AT ALL. Then she stood up, grabbed two mirrors and came back to Louisa. "Here, got two. Let's finish this quickly and start on the spells, ok?" she asked, then closed her eyes again. Like pulling off a band-aid. QUICKLY. |
They were what? This didn't sound fun, no. Was this one of Lord Borr's assignments too? He probably wanted to have us dance while in clown costumes. Who had made Borr so angry and why did Eino have to pay. Merlin help us all. Turning red (no, he's not a Metamorphmagus just really nervous and embarrassed), Eino got up and followed the professor's instructions. First he took a set of paint, then moved onto the costume section. Now, he didn't have anything against clowns, in fact, he loved them, but it has never been one of his aspirations to become a clown. He did feel a little better knowing that everyone was going through the same humiliation, so it's not like he would be the only one looking silly. He found a more discreet costume he wasn't too ashamed of wearing. It was renaissance styled, green and gold, with a few orange details. He took off his robes, then put the costume over his uniform. He wasn't expected to change in front of everyone, right? He looked around. No, no, others had done the same. When he walked back to his seat he applied some of the white paint stuff to his face, but it didn't really change his complexion too much, so he applied some more, then applies some of that red stuff on his nose and cheeks. He was done just in time and the Professor demonstrated the next set of instructions. He listened and scribbled the spells and the correct pronunciation down before commencing. Eino then retrieved as a mirror so he could look at himself while he practice. Oh, great. Further humiliation. Now we have to look at our silly selves while we make ourselves look even sillier. This probably would have been fun if he was a first year, and not a self-conscious teenager. He picked up the mirror and looked at himself. Oh, Merlin is that a pimple? Now, couldn't we learn how to make them go away? Frown. |
Kind of like a catch up...? SPOILER!!: Caroline! ... Clowns. They were expected to dress up as clowns. Bliiiiiiiiink! And to make things worse, they had to do a spot of face painting? Whaaaaaaaat?! Now this was just not right. How was face painting part of transfiguration?! Didn't transfiguration require a wand, a spell and a, well, transformation? Meh, she knew what she was talking about! But wait... did this mean they were going to have to draw things on someone else's face? o_O They had the choice to be partnered up! Which meant that she could draw on someone's face! Now... which poor soul would want to have their face painted by a non artistic person? Kita looked around carefully. She couldn't choose a firstie, no... some of them were already scared of her. Add in a bad face painting session and she might as well go into hiding. ... Okay, maybe not. And that's when her dark eyes landed on a blonde. A familiar blonde. Now SHE wouldn't mind being paired up with the weirdo. No... Grinning, Kita walked over to the girl and sat down next to her. "Hi!" she chirped, the grin still playing on her face, "Need a partner?" Yeah... she was going to go mad now. Perfect. SPOILER!!: Professor! Hearing a voice speaking to the class in general, Kita turned her attention back to the Professor. Great(!) So they were moving on and Kita and Caroline hadn't even gotten to the face paint stage yet! MERLIN! Back to the Professor. OH! So THAT'S where the transfiguration bit came into it! Now it all made sense. She watched in awe as the Professor's hair changed. Face painting and dressing up aside, she was kind of glad that they were learning this spell. It meant that she now knew a spell that will change her hair colour and style with just a tap of the wand. Perfect right? Once the Professor finished speaking, she got up and went to get two mirrors before making her way back to her seat. She held out one of the mirrors for Caroline and said, "Shall we get the face painting done quickly before the spell practice?" There's no point doing it any other way, right? |

She flipped her red locks over one shoulder and snorted. Of course she probably looked hideous, but if they were playing along.... "Thank you, my darling prince. You look handsome as always yourself." Heh. Snort. "You don't like pink?!" Tori tried her best not to sound surprised, but couldn't help letting a little gasp escape her lips. "Well not to worry. I LOVE pink and you are just gonna be pink-ified riiiiiiiiiiight now." She smirked evilly as she sat him down in the chair in front of her and started applying copious amounts of white paint to his face. HEHEHEHE. Tori giggled a little as she tried not to get any in his eyes or mouth. Then came two giant pink circles on his cheeks, a splash of red around the mouth and on the nose, and then some lovely mime-like eyeliner. When she was done, Prince Ezra was nearly unrecognizable as anything BUT a clown. "Perfect!" |
Catching up..... Clowns!?!?! Seriously, Mina had nothing against them but they really went her thing at all. Something about the big red nose and huge red shoes they usually wore just didn't sit well with her. When usually she wasn't against doing what was asked of her, she wasn't too sure if she could seriously don that costume. The painting of the face, yeah she was okay with that. In fact, the thought of painting her face kind of made her smile. It did remind her of Patroclus and the fun they had once a upon a time ago. She kind of wished he was there now and that made her frown a bit. She needed her Lion!Boy this year. Pushing back all her emotions, she jotted down everything on the board and made her way up to retrieve what was needed. She would pick up the costume, but she wasn't going to wear it. No way! Gathering the needed items plus the mirror, she didn't really want to make a second trip later; she returned to her seat. The idea of the costume was still a no go in her mind, but maybe once she was all painted up; she would consider donning it. Setting up the mirror, she went to work on painting her face. Yeah, this would have been a lot more fun if she had Lion!Boy her with her. |

Wha? Spells already? Jenny quickly pulled out a piece of parchment and scribbled the incantations down before scrambling to the front of the class. After picking up a mirror, she rushed back to her seat, only realizing she picked up two mirrors instead of just one. "Here you go," Jenny handed a mirror to Nathan. And where did the sudden need to rush come from? Shrugging to herself, Jenny looked down at her parchment. These seemed hard to remember for some reason. |
And the professor too. ^_^ Quote:
..or not. Louisa huffed when the teacher finished, waited for her partner to get the mirrors and then spoke, "Okay. Stay still." Grabbing a brush from the paint kit, a red one, and passed it on Ryden's left cheek in a shapeless line. Another one on the right cheek. Then came the green brush; a circle here and another one on the other cheek. Next was a yellow color; a triangle on the girl's forehead. Lastly, the blue brush which painted Ryden's whole chin. Louisa moved away squinting her eyes at Ryden thoughtfully. Hmm. Not bad. For a person who had artistic skills next to nothing. "Done. Used the colors of four houses." Yep. She took a mirror and put it in front of the girl, "See? Nothing's silly." No. Just bad and awful. |
Ashley wrote down everything, even though he was fairly certain he would never need to know any of this information. As strange as it all was, he had to admit that the face-painting and dressing up was actually kind of fun. And there was no need to feel like he looked silly, when everyone else in the room had to look pretty silly as well. At least he hadn't gotten crazy with it, deciding to be a dark clown. That was a thing, he was sure. And if it wasn't... well... the clown police weren't here to tell him so. Now for the next part. He practiced the hair tapping first, the same way he learned all spells; making sure he had the wand movement right came first, then the words, then he put it all together with the concentration to get the job done. Once he felt confident that he wouldn't mess this up, he went to get a mirror, thanking the professor before heading back to his seat. He was nervous, but he looked into the mirror, making sure he knew what color and style everything even was to begin with, so he knew what he was changing from, and what to change back into when he was done. After thinking of a style and length, he tapped his head in the way that had been demonstrated, with a "felintas" to wrap it all up, lengthening and frizzing his hair. It also became a weird, bright blue colour, though that only lasted for a few seconds. Hopefully no one saw that. |
hehe Rebel Stella. Off doing her own thing. ;) Deciding she'd rather have complete control over the situation, Stella had ultimately just started doing her own makeup as everyone had continued pairing off around her. Not having a mirror was a bit difficult, but she made do with casting Glisseo on a corner of her desk before she'd started working. She still hadn't quite decided what she was going to do with her hair, other than definitely not bright red and poofy, but makeup first. And she'd come up with an idea from the costume she'd dug out from all the really odd ones. She could handle purples and those types of colors, and at least she'd look awesome instead of completely silly. One eye left to do and she had to look up again as Professor Magnus had spoken. Seemed they were being instructed on the first step of the hair, and were finally getting mirrors. Making a mental note as to the instructions for the spell, she went back to her improvised mirror for the time being, however. At least she wouldn't have to hold a mirror that way while trying to finish her makeup. But once she'd finished, she stood up and retrieved a mirror. Time to decide on her hair, it seemed. She still didn't want to go with the poofy, but maybe stick straight. Clowns did that too, right?, she thought, tapping her head and intoning "Felintas!". Concentrating on a shoulder-length dead straight style, she watched in the mirror as her dark hair shortened and the slight curl started to disappear. Hmm, not a bad look. Well, without the crazy clown makeup of course. And she still needed to decide on color. |

OH. MERLIN. Ryden squeezed her eyes shut, averted the mirror before opening them to glare at Louisa. It wasn't really her fault... but she wanted someone to glare at. "Your turn," she growled and all but shoved the girl down into the chair. RIGHT. Erm. RED lipstick - Bridget once showed her how to put it. It didn't look TOO bad on Louisa... just a little smudged. NEXT. Brushes. Picking up the blue brush, Ryden painted two circles on the younger girl's cheeks, then using the green brush, painted her whole forehead and chin. THERE. That looked... sealike, or something. With a final touch, Ryden painted Louisa's nose red. Fantabulous. "Here, take a look, bask in my awesome skills and let's move on," Ryden said offhandedly, shoving a mirror into Louisa's face and trying VERY HARD not to think about how she looked. |
Minerva took a deep breath. She was never a fan of clowns. But the hair she could deal with, she did change her hair purple by mistake the other day. She still didn't have a clue how she did it, but wished she could remember so she could make it purple again. Not to self ask the professor one day. Minerva sat up "Does anyone want to be my partner?" |
Quote:
Her brow then crinkled as she thought about Olivia's words. "Hmm, I'm sure there is, but we might have to ask the professor about it...like after class or something. I think it would be really great if she could do it." Oh, she would totally ask the professor for help with that spell. Quote:
Since Kourtney had her own mirror, she simply allowed the rest of the class to retrieve one and pulled out her own, peering into it. The butterfly really did come out great. She scrunched up her face and wiggled the muscles in her cheeks. If she did that, the butterfly almost did seem like it was moving. Okay....so, she wanted to look like a clown so that entailed a bit of frizzy and poofy hair. Well..her hair was naturally curly, so she didn't have much to do there, but she definitely needed to shorten it and poof it up. For a moment, she simply stared at herself in the mirror, imagining what she would look like with the clown hairstyle. Soon, she was ready to try it. Raising her wand, he tapped the top of her head, concentrating on changing the style into that of a clown. Felintas! Nothing happened. She hadn't really expected it, but still.... Kourt drew in another breath and once more pictured the hair style. It was a little hard to keep the picture in mind and say the incantation, but there was a way to do it. Felintas...Felintas...Tapping her wand on the top of her head, she intoned "Felintas." A tingle was felt and she watched as her hair shrunk and her curls became tighter. Now she was a brown, frizzy haired clown. She had to admit that she looked kind of ridiculous since brown really didn't go well with her outfit or her facepaint, but at least she had did it! Now to go back to how she was...She raised her wand again and tapped her head twice, saying "Intaris" Her hair slowly relaxed back to its original state. She grinned towards Olivia before raising her wand to practice further. |
Reluctantly, she puts up the silly looking costume before dabbing some face paint on her own face. Then, she looks into the mirror and her cold eyes stare back at her. "You're going to regret this, Aiden," she mumbles to herself. Yup. She'll definitely regret of having herself turning into one of the most annoying things ever! |
SPOILER!!: Alyssa went forward and pick up a hand held mirror from the box. Going back to where she originally stood next to Jesifur, she took out her wand. Concentrating on what length she wanted her hair to be and gently tapping her head said the spell "Fel-in-Tas". She immediately felt a strange sensation. She looked in the mirror and saw that she had hair that grew to her waist. "Yay! that's what I wanted my hair to be like. But I think that I look weird in that hairstyle." So she picked up her wand again to revert her hair back to its usual style. Concentrating on her hair style, she tapped her head twice with the wand and said "Int-ar-is". She looked back in the mirror and the length of her hair was back the way it was. "Cool" She then practiced a couple more time changing and reverting her hair style until she was satisfied with the hairstyle that would look 'crazy' with her costume and make up. |

She felt the sticky lipstick on her.. not only lips but the surroundings of her mouth too. What the heck was this girl doing? Everybody knew that lipsticks are applied INSIDE the mouth. Not that Louisa remembered putting those, so she just shut up. Once finished the girl hurried picking up the mirror Ryden had thrown at her, shot daggers-like stare at her and looked at the thing in the mirror. Wait... was that her face? O__o She wanted to faint. She wanted to die. She wanted to attack the teacher. She was a dang seaweed, a female one with the lipstick all over her mouth! Louisa gulped. Put the mirror down, the reflecting surface downward, and got her wand out. She was NOT going to talk to this lousy hand-worker, at least Louisa's drawings made sense.. in maths! HMPH. The girl, so miserably and silently, tapped the wand on her head, "Felintas." Nothing happened, of course. Her mind had no concentration when she looked like a... seaweed. The costume was wrong, though, she might as well wrap herself up with actual seaweed and she'd be ready for a sea-raiding - camouflaged already. "I SAID FELINTAS." Tap. Her hair did change. Instead of being tall wavy, it was frizzy shoulder-length black hair. And no, she was not looking at that in the mirror - she just touched it, winced, and knew it worked. |

EEEP catch up! Nika had been staring at her professor the whole lesson. When the first question was asked Nika honestly had no idea how to answer it. Can't all wizards change their appearance like that? CAn't you do that if you're magical? Or does magic have it's bounds too? Well this is why she should do some extra reading over the summer. Only she finds TV to distract her so that's out of the question. Two spells? Well that shouldn't be too bad... Hopefully. So Nika continued to stare and then began to take some more notes as well. This way she could practice on her own incase she can't master the spells during the lesson because that always ends up being the case. After some students had raised their hands to give the meaning of the spells Nika listened to Professor Magnus for her confirmation that their answers were indeed correct. She quickly began to copy what was on the board and VOALA! her notes were just about finished. She even added a nice border of doodles to go around them. OOOH! They are going to become clowns! Well this sounds like a fun lesson! YAY! Nika jumped up and looked around the classroom. Well she'd need a partner. Who to pick? Hmm... But it seems as if everyone already has partners so maybe Nika will just stick to doing her own make up for now. She walked up and grabbed a costume, mirror, and paint then went straight to work! |

Minerva went and got a mirror. She looked into it she studied her blonde hair that was poker straight and hit her shoulders. She raised her wand and said "Fel-in-tas" Minerva was excited to see her hair get very curly. |

But before she could speak to Eino, Professor Magnus spoke to the entire class. Quote:
Kurumi sat and listened as Professor Magnus spoke, writing notes here and there. She didn't really WANT to change her hair or eye color...it was something that happened all the time and not of her own accord. Kurumi suddenly felt like she was the dragon in the room, the one that everyone was looking at, and she wanted to just blend right into the chair she was sitting in. Forgetting all about face painting and being partners with the Ravenclaw girl, Kurumi merely picked up a mirror and looked at her reflection. Her violet eyes appeared empty and it was a wonder that her hair wasn't doing something by now. All the anxiety and fear revolving around what she was came flooding back. The bullying. The questions. The lies. Kurumi began chewing on her bottom lip in earnest while she fumbled with her wand. She ought to try and practice the spell...but her heart just wasn't in it at the moment. She peeks out of the corner of her eye and saw... Quote:
Merlin he was always good and helping her take her mind of things. Perhaps it was his seemingly endless imagination that did the trick. No matter what is was, Kurumi could certainly use a dose of her best friend - especially since she hadn't spoken to him at all this term. "Eino...you missed a spot," Kurumi laughed as she picked up some of the white face paint and began applying it to his cheek. The white face paint and his essentially white hair brought a stark contrast with his dark eyes. It was almost angelic. |
Lol. Quote:
This was certainly an eventful day. RIGHT. Felintas. Well, it wasn't hard for Ryden to figure out which hairstyle she wanted back. Erasing all thoughts of the way her face looked and concentrating on how she'd looked before Bridget had come and ruined her hair, Ryden closed her eyes and pulled out her wand. "Felintas!" Ryden cast, tapping her head once and grined as she felt it tickle her chin. Her brown hair was back! Her normal, long, sle- WHAT? Looking down with horror, the fifth year stared aghast at the PINK lock of hair in her hands before hastily grabbing a mirror. OH GOSH WHY WAS HER HAIR PINK??!?!?! "FELINTAS!" she cast again, tapping once more, concentrating HARD on the pretty BROWN hair she used to have and hesitantly reached for the mirror. HA. THERE. Wasn't she awesome? "Merlin I've missed this hair," she commented, IGNORING the horror that was her face and instead focusing on her hair. |
Oooh so fast XD Must catch up speedy Gonzalez style Ivory had not looked up once since that first question had been asked. No, she had been much too busy not looking up and nodding and writing notes. Writing great detailed, extensive, elaborate notes that did not require one to look up as the topic took a personal note, at least for her. A personal note she'd worked hard to keep under wraps, hidden from public scrutiny. Her breath escaped in a huge release as the lecture moved on to spells and face paint and clowns. All much more safer topics. Topics she could safely look up without the stricken look in her eyes giving her away. Lashes casting long shadows against her cheeks, the female prefect followed everyone's lead to the front strategically averting her iridescent eyes. Like there, was that a floating dust mite?! Her fingertips worrying her charm bracelet as she waited for her turn to pick up her equipment, she glanced up quite suddenly as a voice in front of her seemed to echo her thoughts. Quote:
Pushing her thoughts to the back of her mind, she concentrated on the work at hand. With easy movements, Ivory slid on the garment and used one of the provided mirrors to paint her own face complete with a star shape over one eye and a moon on her cheek, enough paint to camouflage her expression, to hide it effectively. To be safe. Listening the instructions, Ivory began to murmur the spells under her breath to get the pronounciation right maybe then after stalling with practicing the wand movements she'd try the spells out. |

The motion of the painting brush on his face tickled him and a chuckle escaped his lips. "You're applying a hell of a lot of paint." Ezra remarked, gripping the edge of his bench. And ew. A small amount of the gooey paint sneaked in his mouth and he accidentally swallowed it. "I got pa--" He started but then she slapped some more paint, then more and more and MORE! "Are you done?!" And right when he asked her, she announced the completion of her face painting job. "I WANT A MIRROR!" He yelped, opening his eyes to tiny stars dancing before his eyes which soon faded. "How do I look, Princess?" Handsome, of course. Nobody would've ever set their eyes on a clown as handsome as Prince Ezra. Now time for more fun. "Please take a seat." Motioning her to sit, he tucked a paint brush behind his ear to get that artistic vibe and then proceeded with his task at hand. For a good five minutes or so, he studied her face from every angle possible. To kick things off, he drew a large, red circle around her nose followed by a generous amount of red paint on both her cheeks to give her that perfect clownish blush. Using a combination of white and black, he nicely decorated her eyebrow area and threw in some pretty eyelashes for the girl look. A heart shaped lipstick and a ring of white paint around her mouth topped off her look. "And we're done!" He said, clapping his hands together in appreciation of the masterpiece of their era. "Aww, you look so cute I could eat you up." He commented in a babyish tone.s |
Bahahaha. Now that would be some place to be! A whole classroom filled with clowns! Kynthia was almost laughing out loud on her own as she did her make-up, already in her clown costume. After the Proffessor's directions she proceeded to try and do her hair as well. I just have to imagine myself with that hair? she thought to herself. She was kind of worried she'd get embarassed. She was afraid her imagination run wild to topics that had nothing to do with clown hair. She could end up with cat ears for all she knew! Taking a deep breath and try not to think about cat ears, she concentrated on her hair's reflection on the hand-held mirror she was holding and muttered the incantation. "Felintas." Slowly she saw her hair curl and shorten until it resembled the Proffessor's hair. Well not quite. It was her first time casting it after all. It would take time to reach that kind of skill. Happy with herself, she let the mirror on her desk and while she waited for everyone to finish, took her quill and started adding on her notes. |

Louisa's hair wasn't any better than the pink one Ryden did though, a ball of black wool looked really out of placed with her face painting - not to mention the costume. But who cared, right? Joao wasn't here in the front of the class playing dress-up. Moving on. Louisa closed her eyes, pictured her pretty WAVY long hair and said, "Intaris." Tap and.. BOOM! Louisa's fizzy ball grew larger. The girl had felt it even without a mirror! She touched it and could sink her hand into the thing! Like.. reeeally sink. HOLYMERLINSPANTS! "Gosh! What did I do wrong? What?" She was freaking out, this kind of silly mistakes were so not welcome in this silly class. Looking at the board, she noticed the two taps she should've given her head. Quickly and concentrating REAL hard on her original hair she almost shouted, "Intaris." TAP, TAP. Poof. Her hair was back to normal and the end of the world was delayed once again, today. She'd sat on the desk OVER the evil mirror and sighed in relief. The face painting and the costume were not as horrible as that double wool ball. |

SPOILER!!: Des-tan-ieee Carter hurried over and grabbed a set of face paint before returning to his seat. Destiny was already there waiting. "I'm supposed to wear this?" he asked poking the costume with his wand. At least it was red. He waved his wand and was now wearing the ugly red clown suit. Now he was glad to be partnering with Destiny. She was sure to make him unrecognizable. He wanted to not look like himself as soon as possible. He set the paints on his desk and leaned toward Destiny. "Okay. Give me your face." he instructed her. He wanted to paint a sheep on it. A sheep saying "Baaaah!" Because that's what sheep |

"You look SUUUUUUPER handsome, Prince," she assured him, "though kind of like... this real famous clown, though I can't remember where I saw him...." Huh. Anyway. Next thing she knew, it was Tori's turn. She closed her eyes and remained perfectly still, like the perfect subject in contrast to fidgety!Ezra. Tori wasn't sure what to think, though, when the Prince announced that she was finished in that weird, mothery tone that she only ever heard Lola use. "Ummmkaaaaaay," she drawled slowly, making grabby hands for the mirror. "Lemme see!!!!" |
catching up... needs a partner. Clowns? Did he just hear that one correctly? The Professor wants them to change into something silly? And great, to make matters excellent he bought costumes as well. Jonathan knows how to paint but painting peoples faces is new to him. He didn't even agree to paint his face during the summer in the carnival. He just starred and looked at the other students get there faces dirty or whatever. And right now, Jonathan didn't expect for this to happen. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE though, he did change the color of his hair. That's why it's blonde when he came back to Hogwarts. Jonathan smiled as the professor taught them a spell to change hair colors. That means, he could change his hair back to the way it is. Beams. He stood up and took some face paints as the Professor had suggested and now all he needs is a partner. Sighs. He looked at the classroom. Partner... Partner... Partner... He needs a partner... |
graphic by me xD pretty pretty Eino! Quote:
Her hands found the blue and she began to apply that, taking extra time around his forehead and blending it in here and there to try create a nice shading effect. Now...for one last final touch. She applied a bit to his lips and then spent a good 5 minutes or so on his right cheek. "All done," she smiled as she handed him a mirror. |

Grabbing the face-paint and a clown costume, he looked for apartner. Too bad there was no one he knew. Pity. But someone's voice caught his attention, a girl was asking if anyone wanted to be painted. Hmm, why not? He walked towards the girl and said "Well, what about me?" he asked. Nikolas hadn't seen her before "Let's see your artwork on my face" he chuckled "I'm Nikolas by the way" he told the girl while he put the clown costume over his clothes "This clothes are pretty, don't you think?" he said sarcastically. |
SPOILER!!: Marilyn Looking at the paint kit, the Slytherin started at it, thinking of which colors to use for a honey bee. That's what Marilyn wanted right? Oh the Slytherin was so lucky to have Evelyn's artistic skills for the painting part! At least a honey bee won't turn out to look like a dog. After Marilyn read the back, which was making Evelyn wonder just what was written on there anyways, she took the 'paints' and looked towards her partner. Smirk. "That would actually be really nice." she grinned, resisting the urge to glance over to her boyfriend. He was still there, right? Now...with the painting... "Honey bees, honey bees..." she muttered, picking out the black, yellow, and white paints. The Professor wouldn't give them anything that would be permanent or do weird stuff to their skin, right? She trusted Professor Magnus. "Alright, hold still." DON'TMOVE! Hmm, a few small bees around the eyes....maybe two larger ones on her cheek. One on her nose. She would've gone on and made Marilyn's lips black and yellow striped but, she figured they were running out of time. "Done!" TADA! Not that Marilyn could see Evelyn's work. Yet. |
Hope it's ok :) Quote:
She looked up when the Professor mentioned CLOWNS! Now Desiree knew why she had been so excited for this class. She tried the spell a couple times before succeeding in changing her hair a bright aqua, and ran up to get some face paints. She even put on the silly outfit. Smiling like the little girl she was. It faded, she didn't have a partner, well that wouldn't do. Then she saw... this guy. Well, he was a slytherin, but older and intimidating.. oh well. She approached him somewhat cautiously and smiled "Hey there, do you need a partner?" she then realized he probably didn't want an eleven year old painting his face, but it was too late now. |
Quote:
Nika walked up to him and realized that she recognized him. Oh. This was the same boy she had bumped into that one time last term. Well that was actually really embarrassing. "Hi," She said smiling sheepishly. The thoughts of bumping into him were back to haunt her. That had been real embarrassing on her part. "Erm... Jonathan right?" She asked hopefully. If his name wasn't Jonathan that would be even more embarrassing. "So would you like to partner up for this face painting thing?" |

She already looked awesome, and as long as Carter knew how to draw a sheep, she'd look TWICE as awesome. Scooting her chair closer, she leaned closer to him and closed her eyes, ignoring what he said about giving him her face. That was not even possible. "Have you ever drawn a sheep before?" It had to be perfect! |

Rearranging a bit :P Text Cut: Professor!<3 Oh. Heh. Right. She should have known. Then again, you could never be too sure. Plus, what would happen if she got the spell WRONG? How HORRIBLE would that be? She blushed a bit before nodding her head. "Right," thank Merlin. How CUTE. From the opposite side of the room, she waved at him, before of course actually heading toward him. "Hi there!" she grinned. "Do you have a partner yet?" Because she wanted to paint his face. She was still uncertain as to whether or not she'd let him paint her face. Probably not. Text Cut: Nikolas!<3 WHOA. Was this a line forming before her? "Mind having two partners?" |
