Around the corner from Professor Bentley’s office is an area where students and staff can come and lounge around in the sun, or sit in shade, surrounded by friends and food. Come and take a seat at one of the cute little tables, the chairs are enchanted with cushioning charms and they are comfier than they look. Have a picnic, a cup of tea, discuss homework or just relax.
Jai had one thing to do to begin his term and that was go to the first place he visited when he came to Hogwarts, the Terrace. It was a place of comfor and solace for him. Itwas also the first place where he met Caroline Scott, the girl he had been very good friends with, the first friend he met at Hogwarts and he eventually fell for her.
The whole thing came flooding back to him. He had poured his secret to her here and she cied on his shoulder here. They built their friendship here and he liked the fact that the memory of it was attached to it. It was afterall a beautiful place.
He sat down and began surveying the green around him. He always felt at peace when he could look at nature. It soothed on the deepest level since he was a child. No wonder he liked Herbology.
As his mind began to relax one thought, the only thought that stayed was a visual of Caroline. He thought about her alot especially when he was relaxed. Her silky blonde hair that looked like spun gold when the sun hit it. Her angelic face that accommodated her hypnotic smile that stole his breath whenever she smiled at him or saw her smiling.

The one and only place that she could think that boy could be was here she was heading, the terrace. It was where they first met. And one of his favorite places on the grounds. As for Caroline she didn't like any part of the grounds that was near the greenhouses, she hated herbology and herbloogy hated her. So they were even. It was most likely the only place she could think Jai could be, other than his common room. Not wanting to camp out on the seventh floor for him. She thought she was start here, and then if she needed to try another place.
The reason why she was looking for him was because they needed to talk. They had spent a lot of time together over the summer. He had visited her at her house a few times. He had even spent two weeks with her in Africa. After a tough few first days of being there they had a great time. The first night they were there, Jai decided that he would make a confession to her that he liked her more than a friend. The confession tore Caroline up for the next few days things got a bit better and they enjoyed being in Africa. She spent the rest of the summer sorting out the feelings she had for the two Gryffindors.
She had made up her mind, it wasn't easy of course but she felt like she needed this. The missing letter was still every much true in her heart. But it seem that Carter had moved on and she supposed she should try to do the same. But she wasn't quite at peace with the decision yet. Even with the amazingly normal time with Carter that she had with him on the train. Which gave her plently of second thoughts. truthfully she had changed her mind and she wasn't going to go through with it. After finding out that him and Marilyn were together, well the orginal plab was back on. She still cared and loved him every much but she'd just have to deal, the opportunity was there to move on and she was going to take it today.
There he was sitting there in the grass. She walked on over to him. "Now how did I know you would be there?" She smirked and plopped down beside him. She could do this, she had to do this.

Jai looked up and smiled when he saw Caroline. It was like she jumped right out of his thoughts was now sitting next to him on the grass."Hey you." he said softly to her. "I think it's just my predictability."
he continued with a shrug and a chuckle. He looked at her carefully and asked,"Are you ok?", his brows pulling together with concern. He was always checking on her for some reason. Even as he looked at her with concerned eyes, her beauty struck him. The smirk on her face was enough to weaken him at the knees. Luckily, he was sitting.

Caroline laughed "Well yeah!" She shook her head. She tucked her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on top. Was she okay? That was the million dollar question wasn't it? She turned her head to him. "Yeah, I'm great!" She should just get it out now. shouldn't she?
She blinked her blue eyes at him for a moment. "Jai? I need to tell you something?" She took a deep breath. "I...I've made up my mind. You... don't need to wait for me anymore." She gave him a small smile.

What she said didn't register for a few seconds but when it did he smiled at her."Really? I, I don't know what to say." he said. There was one thing he wanted to do but was being hesitant.
It was what he waited to hear. He now had an opportunity to make her happy."Where do we go from here?"he asked her. He had to admit to himself that he was a bit nervous right now.

Maddy thought it would be best to arrive at her first class early, meet the teacher, get a good seat, and get to know her way arround. She tried the door to the greenhouse, but it was locked. So she took a look around. Maddy walked up a very pretty path which lead to the terace where two other girls were chatting. This would be a good place to wait for class to start.
Jai laughed. She was ok but he could tell there was something else. "That's pretty good to know." he replied. When she said she had something to tell him, he froze and looked at her. Caroline nodded when he said that was good to know. She was good, great even. beaming up that the Prefect a smirk formed on her lips. "Of course, really." She put one of her hands in his and slid up closer to him.
Now that all of that thinking was out of the way she could relax. She rested her head on his should until he asked where they were suppose to go from there? She laughed, "Well first off what about this?" She leaned in and gave him a kiss. "And now I can walk your girlfriend to breakfast, still she is hungry." She stood up and put her hand out for him to take as walked to the great hall.

Emotions of happiness coursed through Jai's body. The touch she laid on his hand and came closer. Feeling her close was enough to last him. Caroline answered him with more than words. When she kissed him, Jai was completely lost to her in that one single moment.
He had to chuckle when she called herself his girlfriend. He got up and took her hand, kissed her on the knuckles and said,"It's my pleasure. What kind of boyfriend would I be not to?"

Jonathan had nothing else to do. So he walked for most of the time. He didn't realize where he was going to go until he finally reached the terrace at the greenhouse. He never really thought of coming to this place in the first place. But it seems that the first class scheduled is Herbology. He needed to be ready for this subject, that much he should do.
He quite sucks at this subject and the thought of planting whatever the professor wants terrified him the least. Curse his OCD behavior. Unfortunately, his boggart is a centaur instead of a plant, which really is amusing.
And about the centaur? It's a long story.
He walked towards the corner of the terrace. He decided to just stand and feel the breeze insted of sitting down in one of the fancy chairs.
FATE! :D Time to make their connections more friendly ya think? ;)

With her very new book of Centaurs: Story Behind The Pride Louisa Carter made her way down to the Grounds, away from the castle and any undesirable faces - at the moment, there were a lot that she could think of.
Jonathan wasn't one of them, surprisingly. She spotted the boy standing there... just like that. Louisa didn't approach him, the last thing she needed was another argument - she'd had like ten in those few days at Hogwarts so far and she might go crazy by the end of the month so, yeah, she just went and sat on one of the chairs.
"Hi." A courtesy wouldn't hurt, though, he was standing right in front of her anyways. Louisa, then, crossed her legs and opened the book.

There were a lot of thoughts going around his head. Jonathan just keeps of thinking about it most of the time, it's quite annoying. Everytime he is at peace with his surroundings, those bloody thoughts just can't go away. Maybe he does need to interact more with people, so he could stop thinking about any of those.
Speaking of which.
Jonathan who was standing there, looking up into the sky. Wondering. His thoughts faded as a certain person decided to interrupt him. He turned to look who the person that greeted her.
Louisa... Frown.
My, my. What a surprise. What does she want with him now? It's bad enough that he has to deal with his father, now this? "What?" he scoffed. He didn't want to further more get into an argument with her. So whatever it is that is bothering her, he'll just try and shut up this time.

She'd barely read the author's name when he scoffed. SCOFFED instead of returning her courtesy or , or he could just ignore her if she was that pain in the butt! Apparently many people would agree with him now about that last bit but whatever.
She closed the book, straightened herself in the chair and looked at him - seriously looking at him. "Umm.. did you do something to your hair?" Yeah. Totally not what she wanted to ask but.. she was sure that his hair was a bit darker? - maybe not a bit, A LOT darker. It wasn't that light when they went on the Carpet Coaster, was it? No. She was sure he'd changed it. Why? He sure looked really..erm good with that darker one so why?
"Anyways," Because she wasn't like a friend who'd casually talk about his appearance or whatnot, they were... something else. "Can you please drop that attitude for one freaking moment when you see me?" Back to the serious tone and look, "I have a lot on my plate as it is. I don't really need someone giving me hard time when all I need is just... company." WHAAAAAA! Did she ask Jonathan (whatever his surname was) that she needed company? O__o For real? Okay, this hormone thing was proving to be problematic.
She didn't elaborate on that last bit. He could understand it the way he wanted, she was really sick of explaining her feelings and what she meant by her words to everyone. He could just either sit here with her or shoot something at her and leave...
...pwease let it be the first option, Merlin? Louisa needs to stay out of her own head struggling on its own, which what it does when she's alone.

Did she just mentioned Jonathan's hair? Okay, it's bad enough the colouring charm went bad over the summer and now she actually notices them and decides to attack his hair? "None of your business, Carter" That's her last name right? He did his own research about this annoying Ravenclaw.
Jonathan didn't want to talk any further about his hair. And he is so close to leaving the area all to herself right now...
..but she spoke again.
Drop the attitude??? He scoffed again. Excuse me?! Who had the bloody attitude in the first place anyway? Has she forgotten that she was the one who argued first back at the Three Broomsticks? Jonathan stood there, with his eyes glaring at her. Yes, they were glaring at her. The only thing left is for him to take out his wand and cast a spell.
When all of a sudden Louisa ranted and was asking for some company. 0________________0 Oooookkkkaaayyyy?! Weird. "What's wrong? Someone told you you're annoying?" Jonathan teased. He didn't want to be mean but come on. Their relationship hasn't been on the upside of things. There hasn't been a normal conversation between the two of them since the first day they have met and now she wanted company? His company?

Awkward. Weird. Simply unlikely.
Yeah, right. None of her business. She expected that and didn't reply - despite the stream of witty, teasing and harsh comments that came across her mind she didn't reply. Take that Pureblood hairdo-freak boy, ha!
Did someone say she was annoying? Pfffft. It was her turn to scoff, and she did. "Yeah. Not as nicely as you did, though." She faked a sweet smile at him. Okay, this was not going the way she wanted it to. At least he stayed. That was a huge something for Jonathan, right? She could give him this much.
Dropping that fake smile and leaning back against the chair she spoke, "I don't mean to be annoying." Just so he knew, "But yes, you're right. Some people do think I'm annoying." And weird and silly and some more that she didn't really want to go through. "Am I unbearable, though?" Because that would be a problem. A huge and devestating one at that. Anyone could be annoying but few of those who were really unbearable that people would just flee from - like he did at the lagoon last term. So yeah, nobody would say the truth as genuine as someone who couldn't care less about her feelings, like Jonathan.

Louisa braced herself for the answer.
So what is this right now? What's happening to her? "Is this some kind of apology?" he said with his eyes grinning with it. Inside his mind there was an extreme evil laugh. What?! She admits it, she's annoying. Not many girls would admit that, which is really great of her to notice that she is. Jonathan decided to sit in front of her. Because she might tackle him if he sits beside her.
He folded his arms and sat back comfortably on the chair with his eyes looking directly to her. This is awesome. She's lonely and she's somehow apologizing and trying to make peace with the Slytherin. Besides, he hates arguing with people, so this is really a step up. Should he be happy that maybe after this conversation they would both be.................. GULP.................. friends?
Jonathan feared that it might get worse. Who knows. The female brain is quite complicated to most men. It's a fact.
"Look" he said "If this is about your boyfriend, then I'm not going to answer your question about how bearable and unbearable you are" he said stretching his left foot on the side. Well, it had to be a guy right? He saw Louisa with that guy back at the carnival. That was his boyfriend right? Or at least according to him they are.
So what is bothering her? Too bad he can't read minds.

Apology? =O She wasn't really looking at him when he said that but once her head snapped up to tell him that 'NO!' he was doing this... funny grinning face. Her mouth moved on its own accord and resulted in a small smile.
Like, an actual not fake smile. Towards the Slytherin snob. Again, this hormone thing was problematic and causing her to lost the attitude she worked hard to build over the three years.
"Maybe," she answered, still amused by his expression. Did it mean that he won and she lost? No way. He was just as childish as she was, always teasing her and shooting that superior glance her way. No need to remind him, though, he probably was just as sick of their arguments as she was...
...right?
His next words, on the other hand, made her smile fall immediately. Huh? What boyfriend? NOOO! Please let that be wrong. He didn't think that Adam and her were together, did he? "I don't have a boyfriend." She said half-bitterly half-surprised. Did holding hands with Adam cause that? Good that he didn't see them hug, then. He might think they were... never mind.
However, he wasn't very far from what she'd been thinking. She didn't have a boyfriend, no, but yes it was about someone who Louisa would die to be hers. "It's not about that. I'm asking you a simple question, Jonathan." Yes, you can put that in a calender: she said his name without mocking, teasing or disgusting sound effects. "Am I unbearable? Like, say that you had to spend a full day with me, would it be that bad?" Maybe that 'he' felt she was which led to his heartbreaking answer and shut down?

Maybe means half YES. Close enough. But that doesn't mean that she is entirely forgiven if ever she did ask for an apology. Jonathan is a SLytherin for a reason. Or maybe, his father's behavior rubbed off into him. Whatever it is, he does have a hard time forgiving. It's not that he is a snob or a total arrogant. NO. He can't really say why he is like that. Could it has something to do with his parents upbringing? Maybe.
GASP.
She doesn't have a boyfriend? But that guy back at the carnival that she keeps on holding hands with is not his boyfriend? "I assumed that holding hands with a guy could have meant something." he said as he was recalling that scene. He's pretty sure that they did held hands at the carnival ride. Jonathan saw it. He saw it clearly and now she explains that they're not together?
Complicated.
And then she repeated that awkward question again. Jonathan of course had to rethink of his answer. Not too rude yet he doesn't like to be too nice. Really. Especially to this girl that argued about muggle borns and purebloods. Pfffttt... Puh-lease.
"Clearly, I Shouldn't be the person you're asking about this because 1" he held out his finger "I don't know that much about you and 2" another finger "we don't exactly click." and by that he means getting along perfectly. It's true, they both did have some rough conversations. So maybe asking this question to Jonathan is not exactly right because he would definitely say YES immediately. "BUT, if you really want to know my answer" he folded his arms again "If in the past, we did have a normal conversation maybe I wouldn't think of you as annoying" there, he said it in the most civilized way.
Holding hands? They weren't locking fingers and swooning over it, were they? She nodded, "It depends on the way you hold hands with the person, I guess. If you mean, Adam, then he was new and I just held his hand to lead the way." Yep, that totally justified the act for her. "Have you never held a girl's hand before?" She couldn't help the comment because really.. it was just satisfying sometimes to see him react to her teasing.
Teasing wasn't all bad, was it? She did tease most of her friends and they seemed okay with it. Maybe Jonathan was not a friend yet to tease? Meh. The words were out of her mouth already so... too late.
...and he was counting. If she didn't want to push things, Louisa would've laughed. Really, it was funny the way he actually counted the 'features' of their relationship. Maybe if he wasn't the snob she thought he was, they both would've become, wait for it, F. R. I. E. N. D. S.
"Well, that was... thoughtful...thanks." He wasn't going to faint or anything, right? Because Louisa CAN be nice to him if he keeps this neutral attitude. "Can we..er.. have a normal...umm.. you know, conversation now?" She really should stop stuttering like this. Again, he wasn't going to faint, right?

Jonathan stared at her. From where they are standing right, the conversation would really heat up if he insisted about them being in a relationship. Jonathan could already see that if he keeps this one up, this would be their fourth or fifth argument. As tempting as that one sounds, he's just tired of going on and on about relationships and what not.
And apparently she brought up an awkward question for him. Jonathan didn't react as much though, maybe it's because his neck down to his spine is just aching. AND the lack of humor for teasing is fading right now to him. "Yes I did" he said with a straight face. DID. Yup, that was quite a long time ago.
o________O
DId she just say 'thanks'? Does his ears deceives him or is he hearing things in the most accurate way. "No problem?" yes, with the slight confused tone. He doesn't get it. Jonathan thought they were never going to patch things up and you know, not argue like the last time. WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Is she mentally okay? She is polite? And that was suppose to be Jonathan's role?!
Right now, she's even asking a NORMAL conversation... NORMAL. Jonathan just nodded. What does she have in mind anyway? This is creeping him out.
She long had been eager to visit the greenhouses of the so-called Professor Bentley by the higher year students. She had seen this view from up the Ravenclaw tower and it looks more wonderful than it does up there. It was the most beautful garden she had ever seen. Greens are everywhere. Flowers are blooming and different unrecognizable plants that she thought if once she's stinged, she'll pay a month stay at the Hospital Wing.
She walked silently in one of the lounges that is the best attraction of the garden. She carefully sat herself at one of the benches. She was surprised that it feels more comfortable than how it looks like. It's soft and warm. This is the place for relaxation and thinking, maybe for studying since it's cozy and accomodates only a few number of people.
Aurora walked down to the greenhouses. She hadn't yet been down here. It was so beautiful with all the flowers growing everywhere. She assumed that there might also be some magical plants. She couldn't wait for the lesson.
She walked to one of the lounges in order to relax and take in the beauty of the place. To her surprise and delight- Erin was already there.

"Hiya Erin." She said as she came up to her.
Surprised as someone called her name, she turned at the wrong direction of the speaker. Then turned the other way around, it was Aurora! She was pleased to see her there. She could have someone to talk to.
"Aurora!" she motioned her to sit opposite her to have an easy conversation facing each other. "I think, this is going to be my favorite spot here at Hogwarts," she said beaming.
These kind of places, warm and cozy makes her day. Whatever problems she may encounter, she was sure this place is going to be a comfort to her. She just hopes, the Herbology Professor won't ban her here. She laughed at the thought.

Before answering Aurora, she felt the cold wind whisper in her ear and she took a deep breath. This is the best place for yoga, she thought. You can't find a place like this in her place. A simple park would do but comparing a park to this garden is out of standards.
"I'm doing fine. And you? Charms ealier is awesome," she said. They had their first Charms lesson earlier and she answered the professor's question once. She was also pleased that the other houses have their minus points at the Hourglass of house points. Ravenclaw leads.
