Okay. Okay. Jonathan gets it, he dies the moment he break Kurumi's heart. Jonathan is a mad of his own words. So a promise is a promise. Kurumi has been an important person to him right now and he will do his best to make her even happier. Jonathan leaned against the wall and flipped his bangs on the sides. When summer break comes, he'll be trimming it again. His mother doesn't like him having long hair. And she also hates Jonathan with bangs.

OWLs.

Jonathan was not confident but he is studying and doing his best "Not really." OWLs is such a big thing for him and especially to his father. "Kurumi's teaching me on Herbology" yup, in exchange he teaches her Potions.

Selina nodded, "Yeah that is probably smart. She's one of the smartest witches I know, especially in that class. You have a good tutor in her." It was true. Kurumi was, if not the brightest witch of her age, one of the smartest witches in the entire school. Very few people could dispute that. Even if people did not like Kurumi, which a few did not, they could not put down her brilliance. There were few things that Kurumi was bad at... well except knowing what a quaffle was.... waffle... sigh.

He agrees, Kurumi is smart. She's a lot smarter than he is actually. That's why he's the Gryffindor prefect, right? Jonathan nodded in agreement. "She's teaching me Herbology while I teach her Potions" it's more of a give and take. Since Kurumi doesn't want to receive more gifts, so she'd like to be tutored instead.

And she learns a lot fast when he teaches too.

Selina nodded, "Sounds like a fair dealing. Although I don't understand why you are bothering to teach her potions. It's all glorified soup making to be honest.". Why it was a class she would never know. All it did was stress Selina out and she was certain that a lot of students were in the same boat as herself.

However, Selina was a whole other level of bad at potions. Most students didn't like the stuffy dungeons and the dragon lady, but Selina did not dislike potions for any of those reasons. Those reasons did not help its cause, but that was not why. She didn't like potions because she always ended up blowing up something or causing someone bodily harm. Potions was just not a good thing.

Fair dealing. Yup, that's right. Jonathan's hands and brains are more focused when it comes to Potions. He understands simple directions and he has no idea why. Must be because ever since he was young he had always found himself interested in such things. How to make potions whether it may be for good or for bad is definitely something he is willing to learn.

Jonathan swallowed, how can someone hate Potions that much. It's an easy subject so it should be fine and dandy right? "Well Potions is a very precise subject" he looked at her as he put the book onto his lap. "Everything needs to be done according accurately and fixed. Once you screw up..." he smiled at her "...you really screw up" maybe that's why people hated Potions because of all the measuring and the precise stuffs you have to put inside. One mistake could be lethal. Thankfully, Jonathan has never failed to screw up in the potions laboratory.

Selina smiled at him and shook her head in agreement, "Don't I know that to be the truth. But I mean, its weird. Even when I follow the instructions to the letter, which I usually do, I still end up causing bodily harm to those around me. Seriously, I really am that awful. That's why potions stinks, its too hard."

She started to play with her shoes and then asked him, "So how did you meet Kurumi?"

Jonathan shook his head. He kind of disagree to the last part of what she said. It's not that hard... right? Although he has heard some people really does find Potions hard especially when the intimidating Dragon Lady is roaming around and looking at each of the student's work. Nah, students should be getting used to her strictness right now. "Potions does need a lot of practice to become more comfortable with it." just like in every subject. You don't become really skilled once you never practice. Talent is one thing but determination to practice is also another.

Jonathan smiled when she popped the next question. How did they meet? Jonathan tried going back. "Last term. Winter. Madame Pudifoot's" yup. that was the exact location. "I met her with a friend." Kurumi was introduced by Heather at the time. So thank you Heather for that. "And ever since then, we just got closer." well, Jonathan doesn't need to explain further more, Kurumi has probably told her everything in between, right?

Selina shook her head at his failure of a pep talk to get her to like potions. Getting Selina Skylar to like potions was like trying to get a penguin to fly. Not only was it impossible, but you just looked stupid for trying. The penguin flying was just not meant to be; similarly, Selina Skylar flying was not meant to be as well. "Yeah, I think I'll pass on the whole potions thing, but thanks for trying to be positive about it." Kurumi and Selina had resigned long ago that potions was unnatural for the redhead. And Kurumi was the brightest witch of her age... she knew better than to fight her logic on that fact.

When he spoke about Kurumi a huge smile graced his face. Selina's eyes formed to big puppy ones and she felt an aww coming on. Merlin, what was it about these two that made Selina turn into a big bowl of Sappy McSappants? They were just a teenage couple... that she wanted to snuggle... UGH!

She cleared her throat and said, "That's sweet..."

Studying, studying and more studying. That was what Stella was starting to feel like her life was becoming. At least right now, with finals and OWLs practically imminent. Either way, she was on her way to the library yet again, for yet another bout of studying. This time most likely one of her less confident subjects, although she hadn 't really decided yet. She figured she'd see what she could find first once she got to the library, but first she wanted to check on her egg again. After the incident with almost ending up in the swamp, she wasn't going to take her chances. That had startled her more than she'd thought the project would have, but then before, things hadn't gotten as out of control. It was time to take that control back.

Taking Oberon out of her pocket, as she'd started keeping it closer to her than inside her bag, she let the egg rest in the palm of her hand for a moment. "Is everything going okay with you?," she asked quietly, even thoughs he didn't really expect a response. The egg vibrated slightly, though, and she concentrated harder on deciphering what that meant. Finally, she realized that she wasn't feeling the usual slight slickness to the metal surface, and she touched a finger to the egg experimentally. Definitely dry. So it wasn't perfectly alright after all, but then that was why she'd checked on it before she was focused on studying.

"Argentum humidus," she cast quickly, taking her wand out and making the appropriate motions for the spell. Leaving the egg in her other hand so she could gauge the humidity returning, since she didn't want her egg to get too wet. As she concluded that spell, however, she also realized the egg had gotten colder. Of course. It can't be anything simple, can it?, she thought, getting a bit exasperated. "Argentum calidus," she cast, swishing and tapping her wand at the appropriate times, nodding as the egg warmed up. Hopefully now she'd be able to go into the library and study. Not have to worry about her egg for a while.
