Ugh!

Carter was so frustrating, did he know that? Destiny had a right mind to tell him, but she was trying to get those galleons from him. And if he wanted to make this dare easier on her, then she wasn't going to complain. "Fine! Carter, is that what you dare me to do? Tie your shoes?" It would probably take her forever. Those boats of his.

"It's not like you have anything better to do then wait." Which only had her wondering what he did in his free time. Surely it wasn't as awesome as hiding behind a tapestry, waiting for people to scare. He probably spent all his time shining his badge.

Oh no, he didn't. Because she had it all the time. Hehe.

"If they did deliver, don't you think I, of all people, would know?" She would never have to leave the Common Room. She would never have to leave her DORM! But.. "The food isn't even good anymore. You won't be missing anything." Although, she had a feeling he wasn't going to let her scare him. He was a party pooper.

She was already chuckling as soon as the question left her mouth, and when Carter asked where Yeti's go to dance, she was practically doubled over. She cracked herself up. "Yeti's.. they dance at.. a.. SNOWBALL! Geddit? A snowball?"

And then she slid down the wall and sitting on the floor, she held the stitch in her side from laughing so hard. A snowball!

"NO! I'm not going to waste my dare on something like that!" Carter replied. If he was going to pay Destiny a galleon to do something, it had to be something good.

"OH! I got it! I dare you to let me call you... 'Sweets'." Why? Because Destiny loves sweets.

"People keep confusing you with my turtle... so I think it's fair to give you a nickname." After all, he couldn't change Destiny (the turtle)'s name. Turtles weren't that smart.

And he was pretty sure Destiny (the person) could handle a name change.

Only pretty sure though.

"You know... muggle restaurants deliver." he said. ...In case she was wondering. And when he had his own house elf next year it would deliver too! Hello room service!

"You're right. It's too bad the kitchens are closed. I could go for an apple pie." His eyes widened. "Or. Even better. Cheesecake!"

Mmmm cheesecake.

He watched as Destiny fell to the ground laughing so hard. "Good one Sweets." he said holding out a galleon to her. He needed to pay her now if it was going into effect now.

It was going to be worth that whole galleon for his friends to realize that it wasn't his turtle that made the worst joke he'd ever heard.

Words don't do her beauty justice? Pffft, that's right. Louisa refrained from rolling her eyes and just nodded. "Yeah." Whatever.

Quickly JB was the star of the talk, that made the Ravenclaw rather more comfortable. She smiled and nodded at Adam, "That's really nice of Adam to share JB with me. Of course the puppy likes me a lot.." She addressed Rubiey, "..which is natural since he came to us while we were shopping." Did she mention that? OH WELL.

"Anyway!" Louisa took her wand out and waved it once so that her pile of books floated behind her once again, "It was really nice meeting you Rubiey," meeeeh, "I'll deliver JB to you soon this week, Adam." A small smile formed on her lips, "I'll leave you two love birds now." The description was probably awkward for both of them but Louisa just.... didn't care that much. "Bye."

Adam gave Rubiey a little smile when she mentioned that his opinion was a bit biased. Ahh, that was true, wasn't it? He smiled warmly at both Louisa and Rubiey as they mentioned JB, which definitely seemed to make the mood a lot more comfortable. Of course, Adam wasn't really sure why there was so much tension with the whole situation. After all wasn't it Louisa that had said no to Adam first, then went off and starting Joao? Was it normal for their to be tension like Louisa was jealous when she herself had a boyfriend? It was a complication that Adam didn't really want, and yet, it was there. Maybe it was just because Joao hadn't been around much. Yeah...once Joao was back from wherever he was Louisa would be spending more time with Joao again and it would be less...awkward.

It was interesting that Louisa called them Lovebirds, but the weirdness didn't really touch Adam's face as he smiled at Louisa. [b]"Alright. I'll see you later then," Adam said with a little nod as Louisa started to walk away. Once she was out of sight Adam looked down at Rubiey and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. "Well...what do you think? Louisa was my first friend ever really and she and I are very close, so if she seems a bit...um...protective if that's the right word, don't be alarmed. I'm sure once she gets to know you better she'll warm up to you." At least that was what Adam was hoping desperately would happen.

Destiny just wanted to grab Carter by the shoulders and shake him! If that's not what he meant, then why did he even bring it up!? He was just trying to confuse her. Trying to confuse her so that he wouldn't have to give up his galleon. He wanted all the chocolate for himself!

And she was just about to say that when he had FINALLY come up with something for her to do. She listened as he spoke, an eyebrow slowly raising as he finished. He wanted.. to give her a galleon.. a WHOLE galleon just to call her that nickname? And here she thought it was going to be something so difficult that she would need three galleons! "So.. because people keep getting confused with your turtle's name.. you want to call me Sweets?" She didn't even need to think about it. "I'll do it."

Although, it wasn't really her doing anything.

Her eyes widened at the mention of muggle restaurants delivering. There were so many questions she wanted to ask! But the most important.. "What do they deliver?" But with the way he was going on about apple pie and cheesecake, she kind of knew already. It was obvious that they delivered.. pie crusts.

Why wasn't he laughing!? That had to be the FUNNIEST joke in the world, and he was just standing there. Holding out her galleon. Taking the galleon out of his hand, she pushed herself off the floor and pocketing her money, she made her way out from behind the tapestry. "Let's go, Duckie." If he got to call her something, she got to call him something. He just wasn't getting paid for it.

Carter nodded. It was fairly simple actually. He just didn't want to argue what the nickname should be. So... if he gave her a galleon there'd be no arguing. And now people won't confuse his turtle with Sweets. Crisis averted!

What do they deliver? Did she really not know?

"Anything that they make. Like... Chinese restaurants deliver Chinese food... Bakeries deliver pies and cinnamon rolls... there's this deli down the street that delivers sandwiches... oh.... and the diner in town delivers the best fish and chips."

Aww... he missed home at times like these.

"Do you think all House Elves know how to make potatoes?" he asked. He wasn't sure exactly how it worked out. And he desperately wanted to know. The team perks included a flat and use of one of the team house elves... which he planned on taking full advantage of... and he needed to know about the potato issue.

Wait. What?!? "Where are we going?" he asked peeking out from behind the tapestry. He was actually beginning to look forward to scaring the pants off of some poor first year student.

It would have been brilliant!

Hopefully she wasn't expecting a comment on the "Duckie" name. He figured that if he got to call her something then she should get to call him something. After all, she did have the same problem she did with the turtle's name.

He completely forgot about having to give Destiny a galleon before being allowed to call her by a nickname.

Anything that they make?

Why haven't they ever learned things like this in any of their Muggle Studies lessons? These were the things Destiny was going to need to learn about, not how to play.. whichever Muggle game that was that she learned to play. Bastbalk. Or something. She needed to learn how to get food! For survival! "So, like, a chocolate factory. The people there would deliver chocolate to me? Whenever I wanted!?" Sweet Merlin! Forget getting a house elf, she wanted a Muggle!

Which made her wonder why Carter was thinking about them bat eared demons. He was a Muggle, he should be able to make AND deliver his own potatoes. But of course, Destiny knew the answer to that question and had to respond. "All house elves wear potato sacks as clothes, don't they? They HAVE to know how to cook them then." Because really, what else would they do with the potatoes?

An answer she didn't know, though, was where they were going. Erm.. Glancing up and down the corridor, she decided that she was finally going to go down the steps. Maybe back to the Great Hall. Carter didn't seem to remember why he was chasing her, and she decided to keep it that way.

Hehe.

"We're going to the Great Hall again. I'm hungry." All that talk about potatoes, and delivering food had her thinking.. Yes, Destiny Shepard was thinking. "Duckie.. What are you doing after you finish school?"

Carter thought for a moment. "I'm not sure if the factories deliver... Some of them allow visits and free samples while you're on tour..."

"Oh. But there are some sweet shops that deliver." Like the places that dipped fruit in chocolate. But... he probably shouldn't tell Destiny Sweets that you could practically get chocolate fondue delivered.

He blinked. "Is that what those things are?" He'd only seen one house elf outside of Hogwarts. He just figured... actually... he'd never really thought about it. "Oh... and not all house elves where sacks. The ones here look fairly clean." Although... now that he thought about it... those could just be clean potato sacks.

"Sounds good." Carter said in agreement. He could go for some food too. He wasn't exactly sure how long he'd been chasing Destiny around, but it made him hungry.

Wait? She didn't know what he was doing? He wasn't sure whether to be upset or not about that. He was pretty sure everyone knew by now. He was practically famous.

"I'll be playing for Puddlemere." he said finally. He wasn't sure what the proper tone for announcing something like that was. He was both excited and nervous.

And, honestly, a bit overwhelmed.

But at the same time... he must be brilliant for such a team to even consider wanting him.

"What about you Sweets? Where are you going after school?"

He honestly hoped it wasn't too far. Despite everything... he was pretty sure he'd miss the crazy girl.

Did she hear him correctly? Sometimes Destiny liked to drown at the sound of Carter's voice and just hear what she wanted to. Usually she would hear things that was never even said, but this, she was SURE it wasn't her imagination. He had said that some CHOCOLATE factories allow tours AND free samples! Her eyes widened a little bit as she just thought about the possibilities. She wanted a chocolate factory of her own! She didn't even care about deliveries anymore.

She was so over that. "Where can I tour these factories? Are there Auror's there guarding them so no one can steal?" She should have have a notebook on her, to write down all this information.

It was her turn to blink. What did he mean is that what those things were? Hadn't he ever gotten a good look at the house elves? Destiny doubted it. He probably only went into the kitchens, when they were opened, to eat. Or maybe she was the only one that had the house elves threaten her with shoving their potato sack over her head and then dragging her into the Forbidden Forest. Either way, that was what they wore. "I would hope the sacks they wear here are clean. They touch our food you know." Eww, a dirty house elf touching food.

But, now that she thought about it, it could be the reason why the food hasn't been tasting so good. Maybe it was time to bath an elf!

After they ate, though. Destiny was getting a little too hungry to even talk. Let alone bathe something. Glancing down the corridor behind her once more, still not seeing anyone walk past the tapestry that they were at, Destiny linked her arm with Carter's and started to pull him towards the Great Hall. She was too hungry and he was walking too slow.

Her attention shot right back at the Gryffindor when he mentioned what he was going to be doing after school. Whaaat? How didn't she know that? Why hadn't he told her? Which.. "Why haven't you told me that before? That is awesome, Duckie! You can like.. give me free tickets!" It was a demand. He would give her free tickets to his games. If he was actually playing. He could just be the teams butterbeer boy.

Bwaha!

As they approached the steps, Destiny suddenly stopped when she heard his question. Of course she knew what she was going to be doing, she had the letter in her pocket. She had been carrying it around with her for days! But Carter.. he was going to be the first person to know about it. But then again.. he was the first to ask her. "I'm kind of.. going to Fiji. They have a Fire Crab reserve, and I was chosen to work there."

Which was amazing and scary at the same time. She would be all on her own.

"I dunno... I'm not sure how many places do it." Carter said with a shrug. "I've only ever been to one. The Hershey factory... my parents dropped me off there while they were at a conference." But now he knew the perfect gift for Destiny's birthday -- a chocolate factory tour book.

"And no there aren't aurors. There are muggle security officers though. But they give you free samples. You don't need to steal."

Wha... Did she think that he didn't know that the house elves touched his food? They made his food! "Yeah. I know that Destiny. I don't think the sack things touch the food though." It would be weird if it did.

Andddd now Carter was being dragged by the arm down that hall. Merlin! Destiny had some hidden strength in there somewhere.

Maybe it was like how people sometimes had superhuman rushes in times of danger. Expect, in Destiny's case, she got superhuman when in need of food.

Carter beamed at her reaction to his announcement. "Thanks." he said in a strangely shy tone. He was still getting used to the idea that that's where he'd be next term.

His smile grew even wider when she said she wanted tickets. "Yeah. Of course." he said happily. "You'd actually come then?" It was something that he'd been worried about. As far as he knew everyone was entering the ministry next term. Well, except him. And he'd hate to lose touch with everyone.

Carter ran directly into Destiny when she stopped suddenly. This is what happens when someone drags someone and then suddenly stops! He quickly played it off as a congratulatory hug though. "That's brilliant Sweets!" At least... he hoped it was. He didn't know much about whatever a firecrab was. It was just another reminder about how little he knew. And he was quickly running out of the chance to learn these kinds of things.

"Isn't it a bit weird to think about how we're not going to be here next year?" He was just glad that now he wasn't the only person that wasn't entering the ministry. He wasn't the only one that was just going to be out there alone.

Isobel was running down the corridor when she skidded to a stop in front of the tapestry. She spied a Slytherin, but she did not know if she wanted to hug her or not. For one thing, she was with a boy. What if said boy was her boyfriend? They had learned last year that it was not smart to hug boys in front of their girlfriend, shouldn't the opposite apply? She didn't think a guy would care if you hugged their girlfriend, unless either a)you were a boy or b)they were really protective and their girlfriend did not like hugs. Isobel couldn't guarantee either.

But she wanted to hug the girl, because she really wanted to win. She had-Isobel quickly counted on her fingers-twelve, she was pretty sure. Okay, she took a breath and walked over to the people. She stood right next to the girl and looked at her. It took her a moment to debate in her mind to hug or not to hug. She didn't want to die. Finally, she decided to play it safe. "Can I hug you?" There was no harm in asking.

This tapestry must have a meaning. It must. The blonde thought that she had heard about it in her "A History of Magic" book, but she wasn't so sure. Maybe someone else told her. Narrowing her eyes, the blonde stared at the tapestry to try to understand what it could mean. What was the meaning of this?

The blonde Malfoy was studying the tapestry to waste some time as she awaited the arrival of her favourite first year, Alice. She hadn't seen Alice in a while and the blonde had walked briefly past her the other day in the hallways and they decided that the two had to meet up. Emma had missed her sweet little first year. The blonde shook her head back and forth, enjoying how light her new hairstyle felt. She felt older with her haircut, more sophisticated.

Alice skipped through the hallways, sucking on a Lemondrop, one of the many that she had snuck upstairs from dinner. She enjoyed the taste while she slipped through the corridor soundlessly. It was after dark, or she'd be humming and skipping and laughing along with her fellow first years, but the night was the time to be quiet. After a minute or two passed, she finally reached her destination. The Tapestry.

Alice then spotted her favourite fifth year. "Emma," she called, a little too loudly, forgetting that it was late for a moment. Her padded sock feet made no sound as she ran over to the blonde Malfoy and tackle-hugged her. And then, of course, Alice offered her a Lemondrop.

The Malfoy slowly turned around to hear someone calling her name and was then tackled hugged tightly by Alice. She chuckled and grinned madly. "Alice!" she cried in a loud whisper. "Ooh, I'd love a lemondrop! Thank you! Would you like a chocolate frog?" offered Emma, reaching into her small bag and holding her secret stash of candy up. It had been seriously depleted since she and Selena had hung out the other day. They talked and ate lots of candy. It was a surprise to Emma that she hadn't gotten a stomach ache.

"So how have you been? What have you been up to?" asked Emma, curiously, wondering what her small friend had been up to these days.

Alice looked at the Chocolate Frog, noticing the large chunk that appeared to be bitten off of it. "Let me guess.... you and Selena met up?" It wasn't that hard to put two and two together; Dent in Emma's candy stash had Crazytastic Besties Meeting written all over it. "I've been great; the corridors have too many passages for me to run about in... but I haven't been scheming much. I haven't even emptied two bottles of SuperGlue yet, let alone a crate! Domino and I are getting kind of bored." The little first year frowned, speaking with a sense of urgency. "We have to brainstorm, soooon. Like, now." Yepp. Now would be a fantastic time.... if they had more candy.

Emma continued to nod, unaware of what Alice was staring at. "Yes, we did," explained Emma, "And our plans for world domination are ago." Yes, and also Selena had cut Emma's hair and it hadn't turned out as badly as the Crazytastic Besties had thought it would have. Emma's brown eyes grew wider. Alice hadn't been pulling pranks AND she hadn't emptied two bottles of super glue? "Oh no. I'm sorry to hear that. I know how it feels not to be able to pull a prank. I've been studying a lot but lucky for you that your free to roam around the castle," began Emma. OOh, Alice was suggesting a brainstorm?

The blonde raised her eyebrow slowly. "All right. We can have it now. A brainstorm about a prank right? So when would we pull this? At the end of the year?" offered the Malfoy, contemplating the options in her head as she tried to think of the best time to pull a prank.

Alice pointed to the chocolate frog, as Emma looked confused. "I'm guessing you forgot to pitch that frog... but that... errm, meeting seems to explain this," she said, reaching up to tug a strand of Emma's short hair. "And what do you mean by ago?" The little first year rolled her eyes as the Slytherclaw asked to brainstorm for pranks. "Nooooo," Alice whined, as she was very good at whining, "I mean... you know, world domination?"

Jonathan walked up the fourth floor and entered into the tapestry. Why? He is exploring the castle little by little. It was been since the second half of the term that he was amazed by how many places that hasn't been around in. So he wants to visit all of them before he becomes a seventh year in 2 years. Yup. 2 more years that is.

Tapestry. Not much people come here do they? It's really quite nice when you want some alone time. It's just nice. Jonathan then decided to take a seat on the floor and leaned on the wall. He opened his book as he read the second half of the book. He's nearly finishing it, Potions. Reviewing in case he forgets anything.

Selina walked down the fourth floor corridor squeaking her shoes on her way down to the Great Hall. It had been all morning and she had barely gotten anything to eat. The poor thing had been so hungry that she had eaten one of Kurumi's cookie tins of red velvet cookies. She hoped that Kurumi did not see that the tin was missing. Even if she did Selina would deny everything! Of course she was not a great liar so it wouldn't take Kurumi long to discover the truth.

While her mind was fixated on a good lie to serve Kurumi she saw a potions book peering out of the corner of her eye by the tapestry. Who was sporting that Merlin awful book around? Selina turned on her heel to tear the mickey out of whoever was stinking up the hallway with that piece of rubbish when she saw that it was Johnathan. Selina smirked and walked over to him, "Hey Kim... enjoying your book?"

Jonathan busied himself reading the Potions book. At least after reading it, he would no longer be needing to review on Potions. OWLs was just down the corner and he needs to hasten up with the studying. Tonight, he'll be reading Charms if he ever finishes this book today. Nearly there, nearly finished. A couple more pages and he can rest...

When all of a sudden...

Did someone just call him Kim? Kim was more of something people called his father but never him. There's only one person who calls him that. He looked to see if his answer was correct--- Selina. Yup. It is her.

Jonathan smiled at the red head as she walked over to him. "Yes. Potions a favorite" he said. Jonathan's favorite subject is Potions after all and he knows that Kurumi didn't like it, soooo does Selina dislike it as well? "What brings you here?" he added as he closed the book and put it beside him.

"Potions is your favorite?" she flinched, "Ohh just lost brownie points with the best friend." She was joking. Sort of.

Then he asked what she was doing there and she walked a little closer to him, "Well I'm heading down to the Great Hall for some grub. My tummy is grumbling and you know how that is, food is kind of a necessary thing." That much was true. Selina Skylar was primarily driven by three things: Quidditch, food and her her friends. Kurumi always joked that Selina could eat more food than a boy twice her size, which was not saying much. Selina and Kurumi were about the same height, except Selina was an inch shorter.

Selina then took a seat next to Johnathan and suddenly lost her smiled. She perched her eyebrow at him and said seriously, "But food can wait... I have been wanting to talk to you for quite a bit. Let's get some things straight."

"So i take it both of you don't like Potions." he chuckled. Jonathan was teaching Kurumi a lot about Potions. She's a fast learner though, so she'll be good at it in no time and unlike him, she pays attention and doesn't sleep. But probably, most Slytherins fancied potions than the other houses. After all the Professor teaching is their very own Head of the house.

Food. Jonathan should remember at least to eat 3 times a day. They're at Hogwarts and he eats like there's no food in the castle. Jonathan barely eats at the Great Hall but when he gets really hungry, he tends to eat more than 3 meals. "I'm also going there later.... kinda" he added. Well, kinda. He still needed to think what he food he'd want to eat. He doesn't seem to be hungry for anything at all. Maybe a sandwich or steak. Now, that's yummy. Yeah, he'll have that later.

Then suddenly, Selina's mood went from smiling to a straight face. Okay, so maybe right now she means business since she stopped smiling. Jonathan nodded. She wanted to talk well, now's the perfect time. "What?" he asked her. He knows it's about Kurumi and he's definitely sure that it's about them dating.

Jonathan is just bracing himself for what she'll say next.

Selina said, "Don't like potions is an adjective that does not even touch the way I feel about that subject. I hate it, it hates me. The hating is mutual. Although you and my boyfriend would get along. He likes that Merlin awful subject too." Why? She had no idea. Honestly, pouring ingredients into soup did not intrigue Selina, so potions was virtually the same thing as that. It was glorified soup making. It also did not help that class' case that Selina was terrible at it.

She nodded at his food comment but basically ignored him. She was a woman on a mission and she had a few things that he needed to understand. She crossed her legs into an Indian style and placed her hands in her lap. Her head turned to look him in the eye and she started off calmly, "You are dating my best friend Johnathan, nay, my sister. Now... I love her very much, much more than anyone else on this planet.. except maybe her father. Do you know what you do for people you love, Johnathan? Anything." She said without blinking.

She cracked her knuckles and smiled at him, "So... just so we understand something, I love her more than anything. I'd die for that kid." Her smiled dropped and she gave him a very stoic face, "So if you hurt her I will not hesitate to break your foot. And that is not an empty threat. That is very live and very much probable. Don't underestimate me, Kim."

A smile then returned to her face and she concluded, "But you make her happy and you're a nice kid. So I trust you to not be stupid. Do we understand each other?"

Whoah! An anti-fan of potions. Jonathan's family loves Potions that one of his father's brother is a Potioneer right now in the Wizarding World in South Korea. Jonathan just smiled as she commented about the potions subject. Yeah, well some people didn't get potions like he did with Arithmancy, Herbology and Divination. Not exactly his best subjects. But he finished studying for the 3 subjects already.

And she did mention a boyfriend. Oh, is that the guy they were with when they danced during the Muggle Studies lecture? What's his name again... Uhmm... G-something... "Gideon" he mumbled. That's his name right? Gideon. The fourth year Gryffindor. So he liked Potions too, Jonathan should definitely hang out with this guy.

Then topic right now went serious. It's so serious, it feels like Jonathan is sitting in one of Lafay's classes. Jonathan did listen what Selina had to say. She loves Kurumi. She'll die for her. AND of course, the 3rd threat for Jonathan when she breaks up with Kurumi. Josh said he'll break his face, Carter said the same thing, and now Selina will be breaking his foot. Okay, if he talks to Salander, what will be his rule to this?

Jonathan just nodded slowly agreeing to all her terms and conditions. Jonathan looked at Selina, he was actually kind of speechless. She had a list of things to say, it totally caught Jonathan off-guard. But after awhile he manage to open his mouth "Don't worry. I would never hurt her" not because she and the rest of Kurumi's friends threatened him but because Jonathan could never hurt her. He'll hate himself forever if he ever did. He can't even bear to see her cry or worry a lot.

Selina gave him the most artificial smile she could muster when he replied to her, "I know you would never hurt her. Because I would really, really hurt you. And that is a promise. I'm sure others have spoken to you and rode you the riot act until your ears wanted to fall out." She blinked twice and leaned into his face, "But I promise you... none of them have anything on what I would do to you. Understand?"

Then she officially closed the conversation. No more debating, no more discussing. That was it and he was going to deal with it. She might be small and skinny, but she packed the punch of a man four times her size and that was not an exaggeration.

So then a real smile graced her lips and she said, "So you ready for your O.W.L's?"
