"I understand that." Mhm. She understood it was enough for some people to shy away from enjoying it.
A smile flashed on her face at Treyen's name. But...she fought looking too happy. "Good reasons." Nod.
A good match, indeed. This was intense. True, Ellie was no longer standing when the Seekers chased the Snitch, but she was keeping a keen eye on them. She cheered loudly when Kita caught one, tying Hufflepuff with Slytherin, and stomped her foot when Evelyn caught her second.
The nudge tore Ellie's gaze back to Arya. "Which is good," she laughed. The less the Captain was in the stands, the more she was on the Pitch. Which meant Ravenclaw was doing good. Which...well, was GOOD.
Ellie would have gotten some responses from Arya, and maybe a bit more conversation, but the players flying every which way around the stands had her properly distracted. And instead of watching to see who was scoring and who was catching things, she was watching for other things like.
Cringe. Like players getting injured. See, this was why she didn't come to these things. She nibbled on her bottom lip and rose to her feet, ignoring the cheers and the snitch in Evelyn's hand.

Hmm. Ronnie wondered who to root for at this match. . .she never really rooted for Slytherin, but maybe it was time for a change. Besides, one of her best friends (Fai Malfoy) was a Slytherin! And her bestest friend ever almost was a Slytherin.
"LET'S GO SLYTHERIN! LET'S GO! LET'S GO SLYTHERIN! LET'S GO!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. She looked around for any familiar faces.

It was okay that Arya didn't say anything. Really. Because Ellie was back on her feet, leaning over the guard rail, eyes glued to the Seekers and teeth sinking into her lip.
She held her breathe as they spun to the MOST important player of this match. Most important to her and...what the HELL was he doing? "MOVE, TREYEN!" Merlin, MOVE!!!
But he didn't. And there was an awful crash and Ellie's jaw dropped. She forgot to breathe again and stared at the bodies on the ground beneath the cloud of dust. Two of which seemed to be moving but not...not the one she cared most about.
She stared. And stared. Unable to move herself. Not until Treyen moved. Not until she knew he was conscious.

Cassie followed Carter's gaze to her feet and wiggled her toes again. She was sure he knew what she wanted but he was playing difficlut. Bad Carter, very bad. But she knew how to get what she wanted. Her bottom lip poked out and she mustered the soppiest puppy dog eyes of all time.*wiggle wiggle toesies*"Please?" And the cherry on top of those sad eyes and pouty lips..the eye lash batting. Oh yes she went there.
Carter nodded in agreement. So if Hufflepuff won then he'd be her assistant and if it was Slytherin it would be the other way around.
"Fine. Fine." he said rubbing his hands together. "Since you asked so nicely." he said looking at her puppy dog eyes. He then started giving her a footrub.
And continued to do so until he caught sight of the last snitch. This was it. He unceremoniously shoved her leg off and stood up... And a few seconds later he spotted Evelyn on the pitch... snitch in hand.
He turned to Cassie and smirked. "Brilliant. I'll let you know what day I need you."

He couldn't believe it. The boy jumped up from his seat and waved his snake flag frantically. "Wooooooooohooooo!" he yelled, throwing his hands up into the air. Luckily he brought a camera and snapped a picture of the field.

Arya had to flinch at the yelling. It broke her concentration, and had her eyes flicking over to Ellie briefly. There was a great deal of relief when he made movement, a small sigh leaving Arya with a shake of her head. "I think he's... fine." As fine as a person could be after crashing into two other players on brooms and falling to the ground.

She finally breathed again when he moved. It was a feeling beyond relief. He wasn't unconscious, and he was mobile. Good things. Ellie's eyes darted to Arya. Her lip trembled. Define 'fine', please. Because...he just crashed and fell. Were Ellie in the situation herself, she'd say she was fine but...watching it...and watching it happen to Treyen was different. Nothing felt 'fine'. "Yeah..." Sure he was fine...maybe.
As he stirred more, she felt better, more confident that he was fine. "Do you...Do you think he'd be at the celebration?" She didn't know if she should go. And she definitely didn't want to if it was going to be filled with no one but cheering Slytherins.

For very good reasons, she didn't think that Ellie believed her, but it wouldn't be good to say he looked anything worse than fine. She pushed the sporty shades up into her hair, watching Treyen for another moment before she looked back at Ellie. "Um... maybe. I don't really know." Part of her wanted to say yes, but the other part of her hoped her best friend would use good sense and not attend the party. "
"Maybe lets head over for a bit and see if he shows up, if not we can always leave." Because she didn't want to be around a bunch of celebrating Slytherins either. They tended to trow things.

Right. How could Arya know? That was a dumb question.
Treyen held her gaze for a minute before she nodded. "Alright." And they wouldn't wait LONG. Ellie won't, at least. She couldn't speak for Arya. "I guess...Let's go, then."
And they left.
