Daichi was biting his lower lip as he sat on the edge of his seat. The tension was rising as he saw that both Evelyn and Kurumi had found the snitch. His legs began to tremble as he hold his breath.

Slytherin wins...Slytherin wins.. the words echoed through his mind as he stared at the field , seeing how their seeker held the snitch up in the air. "Oh...my..." He breathed and in a flash he jumped on his seat and waved his pom poms like a maniac. "YEEEEEES! SLYTHERIN RUUUUULEEEES~!! WE WON WE WOOON!" Waah he really hoped he could play the next match..but... this team was fabulous, what if he bring them down with his lack of focus? He would worry about that later. The second year shook the pom poms some more and grinned from ear to ear.

The match was over. The match was over?? Just as Adanna had found a nice, comfortable seat, the match had ended. She hadn't even gotten the chance to use her father's Quidditch goggles to see the game. Her grandmother had charmed them to magnify a person's sight when they wore them over thier eyes, sort of like binoculars. She'd used them for plenty of professional Quidditch matches she had attended, but she was especially looking forward to wearing them during this match, the first Hogwarts match she would witness while she were a student. But she had missed the game!
Still, Adanna stood, clapping and cheering and hollering with the crowd. Slytherin had won! She wasn't really rooting for a certain team, but great for them!

Louisa rolled her eyes at the boy who was about to have a heart attack at her book. "Yeah. I carry a book everywhere I go in case I get stuck in a boring situation." She extended one arm toward the Pitch.

Yes, she went there. Heh.

The girl then smiled at him, in a formal way, and nodded, "That's really weird that they let children ride on dangerous stuff like those brooms." An idea of forming an objection on that popped in her head but she pushed it away. Maybe those broomsticks held the weight of kids better than those of older people, right? Oh and no, she didn't believe that magic was going to protect her on that thing. Her own butt said it didn't.

When Kita used her oh-so-comforting chirping sound, Louisa giggled and hugged her friend back. "Good. I'm fine. Missed you, though. It's your final year and I really can't believe it." Pooout.

Then the boy introduced himself to them.. or was it to only Kita? Louisa shrugged and chimed in, "Louisa Carter. Fourth year Ravenclaw." Her proud attitude was such a failure compared to the green Daichi boy....

...who'd just sprang off the ground and shouted. AGAIN.

Louisa winced and slapped her hands to her ears. MERLIN'S MYSTERIOUS BEARD!

"Congrats.." Mumbling out of politeness and trying to make out the hectic scene at the Pitch. Did someone die over there?

She watched her head boy as he waved to the Gryffindors. "Are you sweet on Miss Kennedy?" She asked the boy. What was it with her snakes finding Gryffindor mates? Flores was sweet on Carter, and now even the head boy was sweet on a Lion? She shrugged.

Angelina yelled very loud! Yes Slytherin won!!!! "YESSSS!" "WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!"Angelina yelled, she was very happy! First Quidditch game and Slytherin has already won. She was really hoping Slytherin would win the house cup!!! They were very good! Angelina yep cheering tell her hands and voice hurt badly. She then with the rest of the Hogwart students left the stands back to the school. On the way back Angelina was smiling a toothless smile.

A silly grin spread across his face. "Yes Ma'am she sure is...." he drawled at his Head of House then stole a glance back at Lexi. Sighs, she was ticked off at him for one reason or another he didnt know about or doesnt remember. He looked back at the Potions Mistress and shrugged lovestruck as he was "She's one feisty fiancée I'll tell you that." Never a dull moment uhuh.

"Here have a bag,"Alyssa said handing over a bag if chocolates to Kita. "I brought plenty for everyone. Yep! This is my first game and from the looks of it, it looks like Slytherin is going to win. I can't wait for our House team to play. You're on it right? Although, I didn't make the team this year, I will be here every game you guys play, yelling my heart out in support. Maybe next year, I'll be picked," Alyssa sadly smiling over at the older student knowing that even if she did make the team next year, Kita wouldn't be there to see her play. She still felt regret and sadness that she missed tryouts and didn't make the team this year, but like the saying goes,"It's no use crying over split potion".

"Fiancée?" She said raising an eyebrow unimpressed. "You are a smart, good looking boy. Tell me. Why tie yourself down to someone so soon? You haven't had a chance to experience the real world yet." She said crossing her legs and resting her bat on her lap, "So many pretty girls out there you have yet to meet..."

His eyes drops to his lap as he presses his lips together. As much as he would show off the feeling of superiority on the outside, deep down he didnt feel particularly smart, and at most he thought whatever groggily stares back at him in the mirror was decent at the most. His eyes shifts just as Lafay lays the beaters bat across her lap. Distracted. Again. Eyes up!

"Uhm..." he mumbled, trying to recall what they were talking about. Oh! "Tie myself down? I'm not tying myself down..." at least he never thought it that way. Stealing another glance at Lexi he tried opening his mouth to explain the overwhelming emotions in his heart, but the most he could muster was a longing stare and a half-shrug. Finally he turned his head back at his Head of House "She's special. One of a kind. Theres something about her..... and about me.... we just... I dunno. We just go together. Like peas and carrots." a very Muggle saying that he wasnt sure Lafay would understand. "I proposed to her over the summer with the intentions that if she would have me, when she's ready, I'm here." It seemed relatively simple to him.

"I hate peas and carrots." She said deadpan. "And yes, you are tying yourself down. How many girls have you dated? I'm sure Miss Kennedy is a fine girl, and if she's the one, maybe she'll come back to you once you've... had some real life experience. You are what? 18? Even if you wait to marry, you are still engaged to someone." She said. Placing her hand on his knee, she leaned forward to whisper... "What if someone better comes along."

He presses his lips together again at Lafay's questions. Not really wanting to have his rather limited experience with the fairer gender known he mumbled a vague "Oh you know I've dated some.... " He looked up hopefully when the Potions Mistress called his fiancée a fine girl but started to have that sinking feeling the more she spoke "I'm turning 20 at the end of the term Professor." he mumbled again. He wasnt a kid anymore. He was a man. In his head, it was one of the many justifications of why he thought of proposing at the Taj, although certainly the atmosphere of being with his beloved at the Monument of Love may have helped sway things a bit.

He was about to say just that when Lafay leaned in, her last words stirring something at the pit of his stomach. A queasiness that hasnt made itself felt since the start of his 6th year. And was it just him or did it suddenly feel really warm around there? And when did his scarf get so tight all of a sudden? He tried tugging it loose as he gulped-grinned at the Potions Mistress "S-S-Someone better? But would that person be--right for me?" did that make any sense? He hoped it did, as he felt like he was grasping at straws, trying to get his mouth to say what he felt in his head and in his heart.

"Wait..." He said straightening in her seat. "Are you saying that you don't deserve better?" Did the boy have low self esteem? Her prefect? The Head Boy? Seriously? He didn't seem to think himself smart... or good looking. He shrugged at her saying so. "Salander, believe me when I say, you are a real catch. There are plenty of girls here who would use potions to make you theirs..."

He opened his mouth to say something but nothing would come out. He forced his jaw to move, to utter something but all that would come out was a peculiar creaking sound. Then finally he blurted out "I do! I do deserve bet-- I mean, I deserve the best! Yeah!" He then stole another glance at his Gryffincess and added in a husher tone only his Head of House would hear "I deserve the best one thats perfect for me." But then his head spun back at Lafay as her last words reached his ears, eyes growing wide in alarm "Professor, you gotta be kidding! Dont believe in them gossip columns. Lexi never used potions on me." his mind reeling at the memory of that Apparecium article. His eyes then shifted those in the stands, Hogwartians all, greens mingling with reds and blues and yellows. "They wouldnt do that would they? I mean, I'm their Head Boy. I'm a good Head Boy arent I? They wouldnt try to do that and harm me. Right?" Gulp.

"I never said Kennedy did..." She smiled at the boy. "You are a very good Head Boy, but stop fishing for complements. And if you ever find out you've been potioned... you just come to me." She said standing. "I am ready to leave, will you be escorting me out, or remaining here with your... fiancee?"

ALAS! The first game of the season! Slytherin vs. Gryffindor!

"GO GO SLYTHERIN!!" Katrina screamed her lungs out. "SLYTHERINNNNNNN!!!!!!!!"

Slytherin won the first MATCH!!!


'GOOD JOB, SNAKES! NOW WE ARE MORE THAN LIONS!"

Cass stood there awestruck as she let the reality of the situation sink in....

Slythrerin won...Slytherin won...SLYTHERIN WON!!

Then before she could stop herself, she was jumping up and down happily as she waved her little green and gray flag high above her head, celebrating their win, and of course, the loss of the Gryffindors. Of course, it was only natural that they win the first game of the season, after all, they do have an awesome team

"Go Slytherin!!" She cheered happily and enthusiastically, her smile wide as she watched the players celebrate on the field.

"I'll walk with you Professor..." he said as he stood up and glanced at Lexi once more. Halfway down he murmured closely at the Potions Mistress ear "Professor, if you dont mind, I'll be staying around a bit, wait for some of my friends to come down for the stands." He intended to wait for Lexi at the foot of the stands of course. He felt a few of his duties can wait for a few minutes.

Lexi sighed to herself and eyed Sal as he walked past with Lafay. She also didn't miss him standing there waiting... for her? Was her going to gloat about Slytherin's win? Not that Lexi cared about the match at all. She had other things to discuss with the Head Boy. THings that were bound to end badly for them.

Giving Kimber an apologetic smile she rose from her seat and shoved her hands deep in her pockets as she made her way down to Salander. "Let's go somewhere and talk, yeah?" she said not meeting his eyes.

He turned to watch Lexi descend the steps, his heart skipping a beat when she finally spoke to him. Something about her tone, her demeanor, her way of not looking at him in that particular way got that queasiness in his stomach to churn even worse. Pushing it aside he nodded "Sure thing Luv!" he replied, maybe a little too cheerfully. He gingerly placed his hand at the small of her back and together walked away from the stands....

"Mhmm," She said raising an eyebrow. She turned to see Lexi approaching them. The girl did not greet her... Very well. Manners didn't seem to be a thing with the Lions, but she would overlook that and she left the stand area.

While the Slytherin girl wasn't much for rooting other quidditch teams, she did like to watch them. Making her way over to the stands, wrapping her Slytherin jacket tighter around herself and tugging her hat closer on her head, Evelyn made her way towards the upper seats, not at all wanting to sit in the front. Perhaps the paranoia that someone would throw food and it'd end up in her hair was plaguing her mind again.

...Or maybe she just wanted to be that person tossing food and watching it stick to people's hair. Hehe.

Ok so this was what she had been waiting for! The first Ravenclaw match of the season! Bentley had high hopes for her mighty Eagles this season, what with Ellie as captain, and new recruits! fresh faces and fresh legs always made a difference. She was particularly interested to see how Eino would do. Was he playing? Was ickle Indy playing?.. Either way, it would be a good game so long as nobody got seriously injured of course.

Making her way along the rows of seats to her favourite spot--right at the front-- of the Ravenclaw coloured stands, Seren inhaled a deep breathe. The icy cold air refreshed her, making her even more excited!

Sitting down, she waited for the stands to fill, because she was ALWAYS early to Ravenclaw match.

India was excited - she wanted her house to win the match. Right? Because Blue was the best and Ravenclaw was going to totally dominate today.

She was excited and ready, and anxious - and wanted her house to beat every house they came across. Especially Slytherin. Pfft their lead was going to end soon she could just feel it.

"Someone is excited," Chad chuckled as he made his way across the row and took a seat beside the Herbology professor. "This seat was not saved for anyone, was it?" He could easily move, no big fuss necessary.
