Scott looked over at her and laughed, surprised by how impressed she was of the eagle he had just built. "Thank you" he smiled warmly, collecting his thoughts about what he'd write in the snow, as everyone else had. "The key for me is, no magic!" Noble Black member Jezabel would probably be very confused about what he'd just said.
"I tried using magic to do it, but it became so unstable, and your Hippogriff is brilliant!" he grinned like a maniac.
Rowena Ravenclaw, the most intelligent witch to ever live."Indeed!" he exclaimed whilst smiling yet again. "In honour of Ravenclaw, and the Eagle; the two most intelligent beings to ever walk the land.

Snowwmann. Indiana loved making snowman so much. It was so much, so she was really looking forward to this. She had her bright pink gloves on as she stood around, just wandering what she was going to make. She didn't really want to make an boring old snowman. That was kind of boring. So she really wanted to think about what she was making first. OOOH. She knew what she was going to make. A snow teddy. That would be really cute, and she did love teddy bears after all. This was going to be so much fun.
First of all she was going to make the middle of the bear. That was the important bit, because all of the other bits of the bear would come from that. So it was important that she made that bit perfectly. She bent down to the floor, and gathered some snow together. She needed to make a snowball, because from there she would be able to roll it around, and make it into the middle of the bear. The snow was cold, she could feel it through her gloves, but she kept on. She was going to make this snowbear really cool

"Yes we definitely have a shot....only now I see that everyone is starting to make snow animals too. I see someone also making another snow teddy. So competition is going to be tough," Alyssa told everyone as she looked everyone at the snow constructions being built.

"Wait, somethings missing...I can't just do a plain one for a competition, I need something unique, something that needs detail...I know! AN ELF!" She exclaimed whilst talking to herself.
And so Orchid began her dismantling of the almost completed snowman she had built and used the snow to build up a height of about 3 feet. After having the height she worked on the solidity of it to make sure it wouldn't topple over. Completing that task, next she had to work on the form. "Work from the bottom up." She muttered to herself as she began to shape the tiny legs and the snow blob started to actually look like something.

"Hi, I'm Ira. Can I join you too?" Ira asked the two girls. She didn't exactly know them but had seen them in classes. Seeing that they had just started to make a snowman, she went over and asked them.
It was Ira's first time in snow! She used to live in India where snow was almost unheard of. But she was very excited to make a snowman.
"Actually I have never made a snowman before, but I can surely help you if you're okay with it..." Ira asked the two girls, a little unsure of their reactions."So, what are we making?"

India looked over to the girl who had just walked over. Ira - she seemed nice enough. "Hi Ira - I'm India I don't mind..." she shrugged her shoulder actually she hadn't spoken to Caroline yet so they had no idea what to make. "We could make the Minister of Magic getting overthrown by the Magical Law Enforcement Department - we could make a leapord...a dragon" dragons would be cool.

"Yup...dragons is a good idea!" Ira exclaimed excitedly, "So lets start, shall we?"
"I think we should first sketch out how we want our dragon to look like...What say?"

Ohhhh so he was judging, was he? TORI GOT A WINK from the usually grouchy but still super-hot professor. A WINK. She could feel her face starting to blush instantly but grinned nonetheless.

"A secret prize.... all right sir! Just remember to vote for MY snowoman when it comes down to the judging time." She gave him a flirty WINK back and then turned to Paulie, nudging him with her elbow.

"Didja hear that? It's a SECRET prize but it's GOOD." Nodnod. "So basically we HAAAAAAVE to win." She wanted whatever Scabior was giving out, duh!!

Selina chewed on her bottom lip in concentration as she started to add all of the details to her Gryffindor lion sculpture/ snowman. She wanted to desperately finish this so she could move onto building Godric Gryffindor beside his proud lion. Besides she was not one to just leave anything unattended to except her relationship problems, ie. Gideon, Adam, Elektra, Kurumi... pretty much everyone. So she was going to work until she was satisfied with her snow creation.

Her hands moved and sculpted the lion's eyes until it looked like it had the depth of a real eye. Then she took four large steps backwards to admire her artwork- not perfect, but she was pleased with it none-the-less. If only Potions was this easy... or arithmancy... yeah she would like that much better.

Then she started to form the base of Godric Gryffindor. He was going to take some time, but if she paid attention to the details early she would not need to revert back to it after the main shape was formed. Good plan.

Paulie listened as Professor Scabior informed Tori of the secret prize. Heh. Scabior was the one Tori was trying to convince to call her 'Princess,' wasn't he? He nodded quickly to Tori's question. "I heard - and you know what that means.." He took the considerably lighter snowoman head and plopped it onto the middle ball. "We better get cookin'!"

Not literally. They didn't want a melted snowman!

Paulie stepped back to get a better look at this plain snowoman, then unzipped his puffy jacket. Upon opening his coat, a bunch of snowman decorations dropped to the snow. "I donno what you brought, but this is what I snagged from my dorm." This consisted of: a baseball cap, his red and gold Gryffindor scarf, a spoon, a single sock, and a can of cheese-whiz.

"I was kinda in a hurry.." But maybe she had some good supplies..?

Jayden was elated! There was snow everywhere! She began lifting it up, forming it with her gloved hands.. Hopefully Cael would get there soon.

"Hey guys," Cael smiled somewhat apologetically as he approached the Slytherins. Merlin he hoped he wasn't about to start an argument here. Hopefully he could just say his piece and start on his own snowman.

"Er, so... I'm Caelius and Headmaster Tate made me and a few other firsties his Official Peace-keepers for the week so according to him I'm supposed to try to play moderator if I see an argument...."

Casting a few warming and drying charms on everyone he smiled happily. Hopefully they'd be much less angry after that. He was very careful to avoid anything that remotely resembled a snowman. Wouldn't be good to melt their hard work...

"Erm, you," he pointed at the instigator, "Please be careful not to hit other people with snow, they're working very hard on their projects and you don't want to mess them up. And you all," he pointed to the rest, "I'm sure he wasn't intentionally trying to hurt you, he just seemed a bit over-eager."

He smiled hesitantly, hoping they wouldn't bite his head off for doing his job. He really wanted to impress the Headmaster.

"So, I guess that's it. Thanks for your cooperation and hopefully you're all a bit warmer now," smiling, he walked away to build his own snowman.
"Hey Jay! I just completed my first T.O.P.s assignment! Ready to get started?"

"Hey! Good job!" Jayden smiled, shivering in the cold as she walked up to hug Cael. "Babe! You're like a human heater!" She smiled, her nose and cheeks pink from the cold.

"Haha, I try," he laughed, hugging Jay and placing a quick kiss on her jaw at the top of her scarf.

"So, my little mouse... what snowman can we build that will positively blow away the rest of the competition?" he asked as he dragged a foot through the snow around them to create a square to work in... and to keep others out of.

"Hmm.. I think we should make a snowman... and a unicorn!" Jayden laughed, she was fascinated by unicorns, and maybe having that as an extra part of their sculpture would win them the prize..

Only time would tell.

Ugggggghhhh! A unicorn, really was she trying to remind him of the bond? He sighed internally. It's not like she even knew and she definitely wouldn't do anything to antagonize him deliberately.

"Er, a unicorn, great... so then a snowman petting a unicorn, or maybe riding?" his hand positively itched to reach for his chest. He resisted.

Barely.

Mickey stacked a bunch of snowballs together compressing them together as much as she could making four stacks of snow. She picked up two decent sized branches and crossed them over each other making an 'x' connecting two of the stacks together. Laying down a good amount of little twigs across the large 'x' she started putting more snowballs on top. Mickey hadn't made a snowman in such a long time, and she nearly laughed at how childish she felt. She carefully compacted them all together and made a chimney like neck. The last thing she needed was a head. It was always the most difficult, but her giraffe was coming out nicely. Finding a pine cone in the layers of snow she stuck it into one more snow ball and stuck it on the long neck of the snow animal. Standing back she felt accomplished and barked out a laugh. It wasn't nearly as nice as she hoped and looked a little bit more like a demented dog but she was happy witht the result instead. "I'll call you Oliver." She announced before carving the name in the snow before it.

"You sound so... enthused." Jayden said lamely, eying Cael curiously. "Is there something wrong?"

He looks hurt, maybe angry. I wonder if he doesn't like me anymore.

She grabbed some more snow, working to roll it up into a larger ball for the body of the snowman.

"Er, nope nothing wrong, love," he smiled brightly, bending to scoop snow into a large pile. "And I am enthused, I get to spend time with my girlfriend, don't I?" he flashed her a grin.

It seemed it would be easier to carve the unicorn rather than try to make spindly legs out of snowballs. Cael bent at the waist piling more and more snow on top of his creation.

"Oh yes!" Jayden giggled, making a snowball in her hands, not too hard, not too soft. She let the giant ball lay there, as she snuck up behind Cael, wrapping her arms around him. "I love being with you.."

Elliot, currently still working on her magnificent eagle(which was not entirely amazing, seeing as Elliot was no artist), heard Jayden and Caelius nearby. She didn't say anything, though, because she didn't particularly want to ruin the happy couple's outing. Blegh. Elliot gagged just thinking about them. She hated lovey-dovey happiness. How gross. Glancing around, she spotted them just a few yards away, heard Jayden call Caelius 'babe', and had to keep her lunch down.

Ew...

Elliot smirked as she turned back to examine her work. It was fairly decent, really.

"Same here," he smirked all while thinking of a devious plot. The unicorn could wait, he just wanted to have fun with Jay.

They couldn't throw snowballs, but as long as they kept it contained...

Bending his knees, he quickly brought her to the ground. Spinning above her he started piling as much snow on her legs as he could. Muhahaha! Scoop. Pat. Scoop. Pat....

Cold! That was cold!

"Caelius Ashdown!" Jayden shrieked, pretending to be offended but laughing all the while. "You goon!"

She scooped a small pile of snow into her hand, and plopped it on top of his golden hair.

"Ha!" She laughed.

"My hair! Not the hair!" he shrieked while laughing heartliy. Shaking his wet hair like a dog, he splashed her with the spray. Ha! Let's see how she liked it.

"Cookin'.... right," Tori nodded. Not literally of course, but their snowoman was like DONE now! Time for decorating, her favorite paaaaaart!

"Well we can use the uh, baseball cap and Gryffindor scarf for the snowMAN, her boyfriend. But I brought PLENTY of supplies for herrrrr." Tori smirked and shrugged off her thick peacoat. She tossed it on top of Paulie and then took off her Slytherin robe too.

Now, what was that duplicating spell? "Geminio!" Tori cast it on her robe and then beamed as it was duplicated. She put the original back on and then loosely fitted the copy onto her snowoman. She took her peacoat back from Paulie and then repeated the process with her scarf.

"Clearly she's a Slytherin," she informed Paulie, beaming proudly at her snowoman. "But she still needs a smile..."

And hair. But Tori had a plan for that. Heheheh.
