Nikolas wouldn't mind if this was against the rules or not, because he has done it for a good reason: to help. The problem was that Slytherin had already too many points taken and if this cost him more points they'll end up winning no house cup, which wasn't good and after the house meeting they had this would only show that Nikolas learned nothing from it. Oh yes and a detention, probably. Anyways, he didn't blamed Marie for this. She didn't broke her nose on purpose so, he wasn't mad at her.

He was going to say that she shouldn't worry if anything happens, that he will tell them why he did it and that he cast the spell, so it was his responsability. Nikolas was about to open his mouth when Marie talked. She said that she was taking fully responsability over this. "I know, but still I'm the one that cast the spell. You just broke your nose it wasn't entirely your fault" he replied. He had crossed fingers, hoping that no professor would show up.

Marie was covered in blood, all her clothes were red and the crest of Ravenclaw wasn't blue anymore. "We should go and change your robes, blood doesn't come out easily" he suggested "and besides people will start wondering why you are covered in blood" and rumors could start to spread. "I'm good. Before I came here I was writing a letter to my parents, but the day seemed more appealing than being locked up in my common room" and heaven knows why he came here, just to find her with a broken nose. "And you? beside with a big pain on your nose" he chuckled "I'm still wondering how you got it broken"

Aww. Corey grinned and to his credit only took one or two or six beans, which he put all six in his mouth at once, preferring to mix the flavours.

"Yeah?" He sucked on the beans thoughtfully. "And your dad? He a Wizard then?"

"Yep," Tori answered, watching Corey consume the jelly beans with an expression halfway between admiration and halfway between horror.

She let a long silence fall between them before she burst, "How do you DO that? Eat all this STUFF, I mean? Do you have like, six stomachs? I heard cows have six stomachs."

She miiiiiiiiiiiight have been exaggerating a littttttttle bit.

Shannon had fallen asleep in the library during his free time, and he knew he needed to wake up before he went to another lesson, let alone any lesson that he found some what remotely boring, because he'd for sure fall right back asleep as soon as his body sat down in his seat. So there he was pacing around the corridors and pathways of Hogwarts, trying to get his brain and muscles to wake up. He kind of wondered what the professors would do if he just didn't show up for lessons and instead just went to go nap in the Hufflepuff common room...

Daphne walked through the pathways. She loved the trees on either side of the walk..it was very peaceful. The girl had wanted a break after a really busy herbology class..so, she decided to take a stroll through the grounds.

She looked up and spotted someone familiar walking ahead of her.. "Shannon!"

Shannon jumped slightly at the sound of his name being called, it had taken him by surprise. Turning around to see who had called after him, he found Daphne walking towards him. "Hey Daphne." He greeted with a smile. "How have you been?" He asked, he still didn't know Daphne that well yet and really didn't know how else to strike up a conversation with her.

Ah, the pathways. The very place João would be talking to her in the most open way. They had chit-chatted on the road to here, and he felt at complete ease now. Not that many girls had managed to excite him, but Louisa was in that minority that succeeded. That was the reason he wanted this moment to be memorable, as well.

Getting inside the pathways, he slowed down to adore the place and... obviously, talk.

The class was a blast, the dinner was delicious and this walk in the cool evening was definitely something to treasure. Louisa slowed her pace when João did and was looking up at the hugging branches over their heads. "I rarely walked in here without a book around or an activity to do." Her voice was lower than usual, the quietness of the place was very overwhelming that made anyone speak so quietly. It was like being in a sacred place.

The Ravenclaw hadn't really known why he offered to come here. At this hour. Today specially. She had some study to do, Herbology wasn't going to be an easy subject this term she figured with the biting toadstools and all. But she'd agreed. Normally, that'd never have happened. Study was the top of the list - every list in Louisa Carter's life. However, the dancing changed her a lot. Believe it or not, she felt closer to João and wanted to be... with him more. Like, for real and not because she wants to distract her mind from someone.

That was the highlight of the past five months. Yay.

And there he was again, claiming the responsibility over the spell casting. "Hey, let's just hope nobody ever saw this. At least, the most they could hear was my OW and nothing else." But yeah, Nikolas was right. She was covered in blood. She looked dirty, way too dirty. "It's almost dry. Can I borrow your sweater? I mean, while we walk up to the castle..." She asked him, being a bit of an opportunity taker.

She was really thankful for Nikolas to show up and not somebody else. It would have been a real chaos and who knows what would be spreading if people knew that she had broken her nose.

Marie listened to Nikolas talk about his day. She tried hard, and possibly accomplished not to look displeased when parents were mentioned. She was not the fond type. But then again, she was probably going to need some kind of psychiatric assistance if she kept banging her head against rocks like that. Not that she did it on purpose, but she was being kind of clumsy lately. "And how often do you write to your parents?" She asked him, curious.

Marie cleared her throat. "Oh, it was a fine day. I was reading a letter myself and sitting on top of a tall and hard rock by the lake, and all of the sudden, I slip and end up covered in some reddish thing from sweater to skirt." She answered, obviously being sarcastic about the pain, and the results fashion-wise.

João shrugged with a small smile. "Now you have only me," he said with a twinkle in his eyes. Him and his words. Way is better to prepare her first? Well, he thought that she was kind of prepared already--with her jealousy which she failed to hide and such... better to suggest sitting first.

"Shall we sit somewhere?" Because sitting helped people calm.

Aurora had to get out of the castle. It was... claustrophobic... Too enclosed. Or maybe she just felt like that anyway.

Whatever it was, she needed a walk. She went strolling down the pathways, a tiny phial in her left hand, a rose in her right. She wasn't sure if it would work, but if it did... well it would make her a little happier.

Phoenix skipped down the the pathways, her sketchbook under her arm and a pencil stuck behind her right ear. She was on her way to anywhere really and if she met someone along the way then all the better, Phoenix had been stuck in lessons for most of the day and even though it was steadily getting colder by the day, it was still nice to get out of the castle.

As she walked along, Phoenix realised she wasn't alone anymore, there was an older student to her left.

'Hi.' she called with a smile.

Aurora jumped, she had been so lost in her own world that she hadn't noticed anyone else. She turned, scowling, and pulled her school scarf closer around her. "Oh. Hello." she said shortly, clutching the white rose in her hand.

Phoenix was a little taken aback by the tone the older student was using, she stopped and looked at the other girl more closely, ah, a Slytherin, that might be why.

'Umm, I'm sorry, you looked a little lonely, I thought you might want some company...' Phoenix trailed off and clutched the sketchbook to her chest, she would leave it up to the other girl if she wanted Phoenix to join her or not, if she didn't then that was fine, but Phoenix would like to have someone to chat to.

Ach, she was rather rude lately... Maybe she should try and be good. "Oh, um, actually. Can you hold this for me?" She held out the white rose. "I'm trying to use this" She held up the phial. "but I can't hold both at the same time."

'Okay, sure.' Quickly forgetting the rude way the girl spoke to her, Phoenix reached out and took the rose 'I'm Phoenix by the way.' she continued, smiling as she turned the rose over in her hand, it was beautiful, she would have to remember to draw it later. Then she looked at the phial and was suddenly very curious 'What is it?' she asked.

Aurora managed a weak smile as she took the rose. "I'm Aurora. Hold it up-right." She adjusted the rose in the girl's hand. "If this works, and I'm pretty confident, then the rose should stay bloomed for a year or two and should change colour every few minutes." she said, holding the little phial up to the light and checking the colour and consistency. "It looks alright to me." She flipped off the lid and a gorgeous smell floated from the bottle. It was a mixture of roses, blueberries and lilies...

Phoenix watched in fascination as Aurora got ready to try out the potion, she had always found Potions interesting although she wasn't particulary good at actually brewing them.
'Did you invent the potion yourself?' she asked curiously as the older girl opened the phial and the most beautiful smell emitted from it.

Holding the phial in one hand she made a slit in the bottom of the rose with her other. "Well, yes. Sort of. I adapted it... from another two. But they had quite a few contrasting ingredients so it took me a while..." she said, smiling from the scent of the potion. She then poured the tiniest drop onto the middle of the flower and took the rose back, slotting the end into the bottle and swirling it around. "And now we wait." she said. When the flower was done she would safely package it and send it to Germany. It would go on Katja's grave...

Having had the rose taken off her, Phoenix took the pencil from behind her ear and repostioned it as she listened to Aurora and watched her put the potion on the rose.
'How long will it take for it to work?' she asked, shifting her sketchbook as well while watching the rose closely, she really wanted the potion to work for Aurora.

"Possibly about a minute." Aurora said, staring at the rose. She was very quiet for about thirty seconds when, out of the blue, the bloom of the flower opened some more and grew a little fuller. Then, spreading from the stalk, the rose turned a dark green. Aurora grinned widely. "Look! It worked!" Aurora shouted, waving the rose.

'Wow...' breathed Phoenix with a wide smile 'That's great, well done.' she said to Aurora while still staring at the rose in wonder 'What are you going to do with it now?' Phoenix asked looking up at the older girl who seemed delighted with the results.

"Thanks!" Aurora grinned at the girl. "I love potions! Especially when they work." She didn't take her eyes off the rose which, after a couple of minutes, flowed smoothly into a cornflower blue. "Oh it worked perfectly!"

And then she had to go and ruin it by asking what she would use it for...

"Oh... erm... my friend from back in Germany... she... well... and I'm not allowed to go to the funeral... and... I'm going to send this over." There. She managed it eventually.

Anxious to change the subject, Aurora looked up and noticed the girl was carrying a sketch book. "So, do you um.. draw then?" she asked.

Phoenix was delighted when the rose changed colour but then she heard where the rose was going and was suddenly ashamed for asking.
'Umm, I... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up painful thoughts.' she said quietly and was relieved when Aurora changed the subject.

'Yeah, I love to draw, anything that catches my attention goes into this sketchbook, I recently finished a drawing of the sun setting behind the castle and casting a lovely shadow across the lake.' Phoenix flicked through the sketchbook to show Aurora her latest work in an effort to take Aurora's mind off the last part of their conversation.

Aurora waved it off, she didn't want to talk about Katja, it hurt.

"That's cool, I can't draw at all." she said, looking at the pictures in the sketchbook. "Wow, these are really good. When did you learn to draw?" she asked. Ooooh, it was all so pretty!
