"Aww that sounds fun. When would you like to do this?" Minerva was excited and nervous for this date.

" Glad you like my idea" Willaim told Minerva. " How about now?" William asked Minerva.

"Ok that sounds great." Minerva said "But I need to run to my room for a second first." Minerva smiled and stood up. "Meet you at the Entrance in like 15 minutes?"

" Meet you at the entrance in fifteen" Willaim told Minerva. "Should I go look pretty for our date?" William asked Minerva.

Gideon was glad that the winter was finally at bay and the weather was finally getting to be a decent temperature. And he certainly was going to take advantage of the nice atmosphere outside, the boy deciding to take a walk on the grounds. As he walked down the pathways, his left hand reached into his pocket of his robes, absently fingering the silver egg that resided there most days. The fourth year didn't notice it at first as his fingertips brushed the metal, but as his palm wrapped around it, his skin burned with a heat he hadn't felt from it before and he quickly pulled his hand away.

What in Merlin's Beard?

Easing his hand back inside his pocket hesitantly, he reached to grab hold of the egg once more and took it out with his hand this time. There had to be something to bring it back to a more normal temperature and he did his rest to remember what he could. The Gryffindor knew argentum was the first part meaning silver but he wasn't sure of the second half. He sighed wishing now he kept the notes on the subject with the egg especially when he carried it about with him outside the dorms. Gideon thought back to what they had learned and what he had used the last time, his other hand moving to retrieve his wand. If he used calidus for warmth then he needed to use a cold spell.

Think Gideon...think...FRIGIDUS!

"Argentum frigidus," he finally cast using the swish and tap wand movement associated with it that he remembered from before. Over time the silver egg started to cool and he let out a sigh of relief glad to not have let it get unfixable. Gingerly rubbing it as he put his wand away, Gideon continued down the route of his walk as if nothing had really happened.

Amethyst and lil' Dashi played in the grass as they waited for Justin to arrive.

Justin walked down the path and found Amethyst and Dashi Hey, Love. I hope you don't mind , but I invitede Minnie to join us. I have a feeling sge felt left out at the common room. Not to mention we haven't spoken much since her and Harvey broke up."

Pfft. There was nothing to do around here. Gaby wandered aimlessly down the pathway, wishing her friends had come with her. She couldn't believe they were studying. Studying was so boring. They should have come with her and then they could be doing something fun, rather than just walking around. Really, she had no idea where she was going. She was just looking for someone to talk to.

Minerva came along with Ame and Justin. She was feeling like a third wheel at the moment and was thinking about finding a reason to head back to the castle, but she didn't want to hurt their feelings.

Ame smiled, happy to see Minerva and Justin. She felt bad about the common room and gave her a big hug, Dashi sitting next to their feet.

" Min! we're over here. " said Justin as he tried to flag down Minerva. " Glad ya came. " he said as he smiled. " Now we're all friends first , right?" as he looked at both girls. " Minnie, the reason Ame and I have been so close lately and why we've been talking in hushed tones is because ... It's not just our relationship that's been bringing us together. It's our wands. " Justin stepped back and waited for the questions he knew Minerva would ask.

Minerva gave Ame a hug back. "Cute Kitten" She listened to what Justin was saying and kind of laughed. "What are you talking about?"

Justin looked first over at Amethyst and then back to Minerva. " Our wands... They're identical, well except for length. Their cores have bound themselves together. Togaether they are strong , but... apart they lose strength. Have you ever read anything or heard of anything like it before? " Justin could tell that Minerva was confused and kind of taken aback. " What dod we do? " Justin pleaded.

Minerva just looked at them. She didn't know what to say. "uMM I have never heard of that before. You have to remember I am from the muggle world so I don't know what to tell you. I didn't think any wand could be identical."

Amethyst nodded, pulling out her wand. "And even in length, his is a quarter on a inch longer." She picked up the mewing kitten who climbed on top of her head. She giggled as Dashi fell asleep. "We are more connected that we ever thought---Justin and I."

I could look it up in the library when I am up there again, but I don't know. "

" Neither did I and I grew up in the wizarding world and my mum has never heard of it.It's quite rare. "
Justin took out his wand like Amethyst and showed it to Minerva.

"So what does it mean? I just don't understand. You have to be together forever or something?"

" I don't know. Do you mean like star crossed lovers or something? " Justin was floored. Minerva's comment made perfect sense. Merlin, she was brilliant. " My mum is researching the occurance of this in the magical library back home. Other than that there's only one other thing that is affected by this whole thing...We can feel what the other wand master is feeling. " Justin explained.

Yes. This was slowly unfolding. She felt like she was solving a mystery or something of the nature. Dashi was bring to wake so she took off, keeping her close. "Yes...I can feel when he's sad. He can feel my emtions too.."

Minerva didn't know what to say this was very strange. "Well that is odd. I just don't understand."

" funny, Neither do we. " Justin said as he gestured to Amethyst. " Sorry, We haven't had the chance to talk lately. How are you and William doing? Do you see him much? "

Minerva smiled. "We are doing very well. Yes I see him a lot. So what's new with you two."

" Well, the newest thing is Dashi here. The kitten that I brought for Ame. Other than that I think we've been trying to make up lost time. " said Justin. then he stepped closer to Minerva and whispered in her ear, " Min... I think I've found MY MATCH if you know what I mean. I know we are so young, but I have a hunch that the wands have brought us together. Just sooner than if we had been in different Houses. " Justin looked up with a concerned look on his face. " I don't want to lose her . It was too painful to leave before. What happens if we live too much now and then .... " he trailed off not wanting to say what he was sure Minerva could figure out.

Minerva smiled at him. She thought they were to young to be talking like that, but who was she to tell them. "I am happy for you both. It is a great thing to find that one person."
