A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.
And she wondered why she was a Ravenclaw? Honestly.
So, basically, what she'd wanted to say or ask was what she couldn't say or ask because it was stated in the conditions he laid out? It was amusing that she decided to listen to him now, since she's never done so.
"You're kidding, right? What I mentioned was what you wanted to ask?" he said, in a jokingly matter. At least he knew that the thought of not getting the answers she wanted wasn't going to be on her mind for the rest of the day, right?
But...back to the stands and Pitch situation.
Yes, she was right, he'd been there, "I was with Victoria." Simple enough, and the truth, "I paid little attention to the people gathered around someone because no one was ill-injured." Well, there was no blood, except on the little scrapes some of them got, but that wasn't the worst injury you could get by playing.
So, his attention was focused on that Slytherin redhead at the end of the game, "She's an excellent Keeper, you know?" she'll do wonders in Slytherin if she kept on playing. Yes, Victoria.
"Are you heading back to the Castle?" that had been his original plan, and not because Hadley mentioned they should, but because he'd wanted to.
"No..." Why would she be kidding about that? She oh-so desperately wanted to ask these questions that he was permitting her to ask. "Exactly what I wanted to ask." Pretty much. She still wasn't getting her answers.
Victoria...who was also on the Pitch, yes? "You didn't think that people gathering might mean something important?" Especially when some of those people were Heads and Heads rarely went out onto the Pitch?
"How's your injury, by the way," she asked, fingering his stomach. She really, really, REALLY disliked Sierra Greingoth.
And, yes, Ellie was aware of the Slytherin's Keeping skills. She was watching, remember? "Not as excellent as you." Because...seriously, Treyen did amazingly well. WITH NO PRACTICE. "How do you do it?" Hmmmm? What made him SO good?
She knew the answer already, of course. Blood. It had all to do with his Professional blood. But she wanted to hear his answer, anyway.
"I was heading to you." And wherever he went, she would follow.

"Madamemossile, you have some seriously .. interesting dressing going on there," he commented, only noticing then .. her pink skirt like thing when she twirled and distracted him from all her ... Lexi-ness.
Interesting choices.
"While climbing a tree would make us look like monkeys and starting a fire will get us expelled before we graduate .. I suggest we dancee," he said, holding out his hand for her to take.

Lexi giggled more and more and SNORTED loudly as she stopped her twirling to look at Orlando. Placing her hands on her hips she smirked. "I think it's a fabulous choice of clothing." She tugged at her jumper a bit and looked down at her green leggings, pink tutu, and Gryffindor Chucks and laughed.
"Oh pfffft. I start fires all the time. I have not been expelled yet, but dance we shall!" she said as she gave him a proper curtsy and then skipped forward to take his hand. "You lead and I shall follow kind sir." GIGGLES FOR LIIIIIIFE!
Orlando nodded right away. "But of course, mademoiselle. I shall agree with whatever you think. It looks fabulous, indeed" All his time at Hogwarts and Orlando had learned only one thing about girls .. agree with them and they would stay happy.
He laughed hearing her. "You are the only dare devil type witch, I know, Lexi" he commented honestly. She did have the guts to do it all, yep.
When she took his hand, Orlando took no time to grip her hand back and twirl her. He couldn't help but laugh again when she called him kind sir. Oh how he loved the games they played. "Your wish, my command, my lady" he added and started moving around with her. "Oh but, my lady - there is no music!"

Daredevil? HER? Naaaaah. "Just the Gryffindor in me, I reckon." She gave him a nod and a wink at that. Hehehe. Although, she did have to agree that sometimes she went headlong into some crazy stuff from time to time without thinking much about it. LIFE IS FUNNER LIVED ON THE EDGE!
Gripping his hand she twirled and twirled and twirled. Coming to a stop rather abruptly she stumbled a bit and grasped him to keep from falling over. HEHEHE. "Would you have me sing, then? Otherwise we dance to the beat of our own drums, Orlando," she said with a giggle.
"No..." Why would she be kidding about that? She oh-so desperately wanted to ask these questions that he was permitting her to ask. "Exactly what I wanted to ask." Pretty much. She still wasn't getting her answers.

Yeah, he kind of figured that but he was still liking this situation in which she couldn't disagree with him. "Tough luck." He gave her a quick kiss. They were done with that subject, yes? Yes.
The Pitch? Now that Ellie was mentioning it...he should've gotten a bit more involved in there considering he was a Prefect. But..., "We played Slytherin, it probably involved some sort of drama." EVERY Slytherin was dramatic, even Victoria in her ways. Treyen was still slightly curious since whatever had happened didn't start in the stands...so, it should've started on the Pitch...and he missed it? Awesome, that's what made him a terrific Prefect. He'll ask Nessie.
What? Of course! "What injury? I'm completely fine," couldn't she see he was fine? It had taken him a few minutes before he was back to his old self while on the hoops, but the quaffle didn't hit him that hard. It was probably a good thing he only had a toast for breakfast today. "I'll probably get a few bruises, but that's normal." And usual when you played Quidditch. She knows this.
Surprised, he was. Beyond surprised, actually, because he was thinking the opposite. He was thinking that Victoria was better than he was, Ellie was just biased. "I don't really think so, but thanks."Wink. Wait, what? "How do I do what?" yeah, that confused him. Keeping? Ellie was Captain, surely she knew how Keeping went, and she'd been Keeper before, once.
He smiled, widely, at her answer. An answer that granted her another kiss.

HMPH.
But Ellie couldn't stop herself from smiling.
Of course. Because Slytherins were sooo dramatic. "Imagine. And LOLA wasn't even there." Hehe. Though, now she was slightly curious about what happened. Maybe it'll be one of those things where word travels. Actually, it was Hogwarts, it definitely will travel.
Honestly? "The Quaffle blow." THAT injury. The Quaffle that Sierra hit at him. But as long as he was fine..."Good." Bruises. Heh. "Totally normal." That wasn't sarcastic or anything. It really was completely normal. It would be awfully concerning if someone didn't get a bruise or two after a match.
"It's the truth, but you're welcome." Thank Merlin Treyen wasn't as stubborn as she was. About their Quidditch skills. "How are you so good? I mean, you haven't even been on a broom in how long? And you were great."
Another kiss? Heeeheeehee.

Oh, that's right! Lola didn't play!
"I forgot she wasn't on the Pitch." Which means...that he agrees with what Ellie says, IF Lola had been around then he'll have known what it was that had happened (if anything actually happened). But...where was Lola, eh? That was a much better question.
Yes, he knew what she was talking about, "That's hardly an injure," it was just a quaffle, not even a bludger...thank Merlin it wasn't a bludger or Treyen would've visited the Hospital Wing for the first time this term. There was no reason for him to go there anymore. And, yes, bruises were totally normal, he knew she'll agree with that. "I've never been seriously injured, though. But I remember one of my first games at Hogwarts where I ran to the Hospital Wing just because of a few scrapes on my face." He chuckled, the memory of the angel called Moretti was who 'saved' him back then, "I considered that to be the worst thing possible...back then, of course." And that had been nothing, yet it was the worst he's ever get. One shouldn't count getting the hair all messed up as an injure.
Long story short...no need to worry over Treyen and Quidditch.
He didn't resist the urge to roll his eyes at what she said, he DID roll them this time, but said nothing else on whether he was better than Victoria or not. OH. Wait. That's what she meant? Treyen SHRUGGED. He was pretty modest compared to Gilderoy, most certainly. "It's not magic, and...I don't think it's something I inherited either...," he's been playing since he can remember and he started way before Kaika did, but his sister had the same question as Ellie, "...perhaps...I don't know, I don't take it too seriously, it's only a game." He was going to pay for saying that later on, he knew that. For some people it wasn't just a game, it was what their lives revolved around. "I used to try and just have fun with it," he said, shrugging again. Perhaps she should loosen up with Quidditch just a bit.

By the way...did she ever take that day off?
Ellie shrugged. He had other things than who was playing to worry about. She, at least, hardly payed attention to who she was playing against. But really, if Lola had been there, the Slytherin Captain would have made sure EVERYONE knew what was going on.
Hardly an injury, right. "I know, but..." She was just peeved about the fact that Sierra would hit a Quaffle at him. Like...who used their bats to hit Quaffles? Ellie was NOT fond of the third year.
Smirking, she was. "Scratches on your face? How awful," she teased. Baby. Of course, one of his first games would have been years ago when he was only an ickle one. "Don't jinx that, though." That he's never been seriously injured. Let's just keep it that way, yeah?
Hey! Her eyebrow went up. Did that really deserve an eye-roll? It was TOTALLY true that he was better than Victoria. If anything, he had more experience on his side. Not to mention the fact that he was clearly a natural. Treyen proved that today.
Well, yeah, it wasn't magic. That would be cheating. But he didn't think he inherited it either? Really? "You don't think that between your father's Arrows career and your sister's Wasps career, you didn't inherit any of your Quidditch skills?" It was most likely he was an amazing player because he was from a family of amazing players.
And NO, Ellie didn't buy that it was because he 'didn't take it too seriously' at all. Sure, she believed that he didn't take it seriously. She knew him well enough to know he hardly cared about the outcome of the matches he played in. That he played for the sheer fun of it. But she didn't think that had anything to do with how well he played. In fact, if he did care more, he'd probably be even better if possible. "So because you play for fun you play brilliantly?"

We all have one those weeks." Okay maybe not everyone. She couldn't recall ever having a bad week but she didn't say that to Destiny.
"I know you would prefer the real thing." she shrugged her shoulders. "But I was hoping that this would be the next best thing." And it looked as though her friend did like it. Well she loved it apparently and that made Mia beam. "You'll have to tell me what you name him/her." She just made the giraffe, it was up to Destiny to decide on what it was.
"You ready to start?"
Well, that was a surprise.
Destiny didn't think Mia was going to accept her apology so quickly. Actually, she didn't think she would have accepted it all. Sure, she was having a bad week, but she shouldn't have taken it out on everyone. Especially her friend. She didn't really care about the plant, it was dead after all. It probably didn't even know it was being kicked.
But, she was not going to bring that up, and she was more than happy to get as far away from that conversation as she could.
And she decided not to say that one day, ONE DAY, she would get a giraffe as a pet. Maybe she could trick one into drinking a Shrinking Solution.. She'd plot that later. First, she had to think of a name for the giraffe Mia had just given her. "Erm.." Naming things was so difficult. Usually she would name them after Professors or.. "I'll name it Mia! Sine you gave it to me. And it's this color, so it can't be a boy." Well, it could. But naming it Mia was much easier and it was something that she would remember.
With everything forgiven, and everything taken care of, she was ready to go clean the Greenhouse. She still wouldn't like it, though. "Yeah, I'm ready." And with that, she made her way inside.
Hopefully Mia, the giraffe, wouldn't get too dirty.

Presley nodded. Everyone did have ups and downs. That was very wise. A younger sister. That was exactly the opposite of Pres. "That must be hard. To not have that in common with your family. Are they okay with it?" As she gathered, some muggle families were not okay with having a magical person in their family.
Hard? Erin couldn't even feel it. She knew, her father who've been depressed for the longest time in his life had been very proud of her, she was sure of it. Cristina, her sister was so excited to watch Erin perused the letter from Hogwarts saying that she was accepted in a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her life turned down upside. It was truly a magical adventure, the positive one. "They are happy about it. And it made my life so beautiful."
"Are yo Pureblood or what?" asked Erin. It was nice to have a give and take conversation.
Ellie shrugged. He had other things than who was playing to worry about. She, at least, hardly payed attention to who she was playing against. But really, if Lola had been there, the Slytherin Captain would have made sure EVERYONE knew what was going on.

So, good thing Lola didn't play.
That was cute. Had Ellie been worrying about him? Yeah, cute. Unnecessary, but cute. And she was allowed to worry...by him, because he wasn't going to tell her not to worry, at least not the same way she'd done so when he was the one worrying about her.
And now she was positively making fun of him. Nice one, Eliana. "I was younger, okay?" and there had been blood involved, hence why he'd thought of it the worst thing possible. He was leaving the time when he was little and hit a tree out of this, though, it was before Hogwarts AND not really Quidditch-related.
The smile had turned into a small, very sweet one and he twined his fingers with hers in that one hand he was currently holding, "Don't worry about it," he still didn't know if he was going to keep on playing or not.
The eyebrow raise was noticed and...no attention was given to it. Or...not real attention was given to it since he didn't comment.
And the people in his family that played Quidditch? The only two people? No, he didn't believe that, they'd work pretty hard to gain the skills they had. Treyen pretended to consider that as his head tilted to one side, "Hmmm...maybe...," that was his reply, because he'd been wondered something else, "I still don't think that's it." And...ACTUALLY, she might be right about the fun part, he knew that his father and sister had fun while playing...sooo..., "That...makes sense," what he'd thought right now, not what she said, "I'm probably wrong with that one." See? How hard was it to admit that one was wrong?
"Why did you ask?" that's what he'd been wondering moments ago.
Well that was good. At least Erin had the support of her family behind her. Presley, pureblood...That was honestly a great question. She considered herself pureblood, but by the standards of their world, she was thouroughly half blood. But her blood was purely magical. It was simply that some of her family was not. "Well, my father is a pureblood, and my mother was a muggle, so I kind of got the best of both words growing up." There. Now let Erin decide on what she thought Presley's blood status was. She was raised in the pureblood social circles. She was also raised playing muggle sports with her cousins on her mum's side. "I used to wonder if it was confusing to have to switch worlds at eleven years old. I mean, it wouldn't be hard for me, becauseof my mum, but..I guess what I'm trying to say is, was it hard? Did you believe in it at all? Is my common terminology still cometimes confusing to you?" There. A gajillion questions at once, but they had just spilled out of Presley's mouth, and she couldn't help it. She hoped Erin didn't mind too much.
That was cute. Had Ellie been worrying about him? Yeah, cute. Unnecessary, but cute. And she was allowed to worry...by him, because he wasn't going to tell her not to worry, at least not the same way she'd done so when he was the one worrying about her.

"Why did you ask?" that's what he'd been wondering moments ago.
"Mmhmm." When he was younger. Sure. Ellie didn't doubt him.
Her eyes left him for a brief moment. "I'm not worrying I just..." No, she was worrying, she just wasn't admitting it. Or didn't realize it. "...don't think you should jinx it anyway." If Treyen got hurt that would...hurt. She'd rather not even think about him being hurt. She didn't want it.
'Course he didn't think that that was it. Then he was just good because he was good? Lucky. He should be able to share that natural not-family-related talent. But the whole playing for fun thing was certainly some food for thought. "It was just something I noticed." That he was really good. Not that she didn't already know that. She knew, but she was always practicing for fear that she'd be terrible if she didn't. Yet, he hadn't practiced and was still good.

William was feeling tired today, more tired than usual. He took a walk down to the Pathways just to get a little fresh air and relax a little bit.
Taking a seat on one of the benches, William removed his egg named Mischievous from his pocket and saw that it was a little bit dusty. He wanted to keep the egg looking as nice as possible, so he pulled his wand out of his pocket and softly said "Excolo" as he moved his wand over the egg and traced the spot that was dusty at the same time. When he was finished looked bright and shiny, just as it had looked like when he had first received it from Charms class.
Satisfied with his work, William slipped Mischievous back into his pocket and headed back to the school.

Minerva happened to see William headed back to the school alone. "Hey William"
Louisa stuck to her promise so far, Dalouisa sat in the open basket as the girl carried it around. It was still cold but the jumper offered the Ravenclaw enough warmth. The pathways was the fascinating place for a quiet, happy stroll outside the school. After being locked inside the common room for a week, catching up to her homework, Louisa found the freezing breeze refreshing.
Minerva happened to see William headed back to the school alone. "Hey William"
" Hi Minerva" William called out. " I am just taking care of my egg Mischiveious
for homework" William told Minerva. " I am tired today so I just polished it" Willaim explained to Minerva.
