This was harder than Marie thought it would be. She knew that the effects of this potion were only gong to last twenty minutes at the most, but it was the idea of her hating Mia for those twenty minutes.

Uncorking the phial she just stared at it for a moment. Could she really do this? Could she hate the girl that had never done anything mean to anyone in her whole life?

She was about to find out.

Bringing the phial to her lips she swallowed the disgusting potion down in one gulp. "That. Was. Disgusting." That stuff tasted worse than the firewhiskey they had at the Hogs Head.

Mia watched Marie anxiously as she swallowed the entire contents of the phial in one go. And she just couldn't help herself but to take a step back. She loved her friend dearly but the girl was about to hate her and she had seen the way Marie hated on someone.

"So - so how do you feel?" At least the girl was still alive so that wasa good start. She hadn't poisoned her.

She couldn't even make a potion right. It was probably because she was so dead set against this whole thing in the first place that maybe she had done something wrong.

Mia was just about to tell Marie that the potion had obviously not worked when the girl snapped at her and she blinked a couple of times. It was so strange to hear that tone coming from her friend. "Um...okay. Was just trying to be nice." She didn't know how she was going to do this.

Mia had to keep reminding herself that it was just the potion talking and it wasn't really Marie being mean to her. But it was easier said than done. "Hey!! I'm not a busy body. I don't pry into anyone's business."

She didn't do that, did she? Everyone came to her with their problems, she never went to them asking what was wrong. Mia opened her mouth but she didn't know what else to say.

It was true, Mia knew a LOT about Marie and her personal life. Things that she would never want anyone else to know about. Shaking her head she tried figuring out WHY she would tell Mia anything at all. Maybe Mia was going around drugging everyone with some potion of her. Some potion that made people tell her their deepest, person secrets.

WHAT was she saying here? She would NEVER break Mia's nose... would she? Looking around a bit Marie started to feel as if something was wrong here. Like what she was saying or doing was all wrong.

This was only a homework assignment but it was certainly making Mia think about things. Did her friend really think that she was a nosy person? Is that what other people though too?

This homework was making her head hurt.

Selina finally felt her breath calm and everything that was inherent in her body, like breathing and standing, seemed to even out once more. And yes it appeared the potion had worn off and Mia sagged in relief. She kinda wished that it hadn't worked but unfortunately it had. She had better get good marks for having to go through this.

Mia stepped closer to Marie and threw an arm around her. "No you didn't. You did threaten to though." she said with a small laugh. Yes now that the potion had worn off all was good again.

She steered Marie back up the path and began walking towards the castle. "You don't really think I'm a busy body, do you?"
