" yeah, we were like two magnets pulled together by happenstance. " Justin said as he smiled thinking of Amethyst.

This was not a good idea. Why was he even doing this? Yes he wanted to get good points for Slytherin but...fighting with a friend? It's just wrong! Daichi wrapped his Slytherin scarf closer around his neck and held a bottle of potion in his gloved hands. He looked around, trying to find Thea somewhere but he couldn't find her at the moment. He sighed as he eyed the potion suspiciously. What was wrong with Lafay? Just because SHE'S in a bad mood doesn't mean anyone else has to be! It were moments like this, not that it happened often...actually never.. but you get the point. That Daichi disliked doing what he is told. "Theaaa~ hurry uuup~" He whined as a cool breeze swept over the pathways and he wrapped his cloak tighter around him.

Holding her Gryffindor scarf tightly around her neck, Thea marched up to Daichi. Yes. She had TOTALLY forgotten about agreeing to do this potion fandango with him.. woooops. Grabbing the bottle out of her pocket, Thea rolled her eyes. 'I'm here, I'm here. I can hdere you whining from down tha path!' Thea grinned. She felt horrible being mean to little Daichi. She was trying to ease up a little bit..

'Ready then?'Thea smiled, her eyebrow raised a bit. Thea wasn't that bothered about it, but she knew Daichi would be fwightened.. Mwaha.

Marie raised an eyebrow. She wasn't so used to the lies, even less to the professors, but considering they were sort of clueless about that kind of rules about magic, it seemed like the best idea. "Deal." Marie whispered with a slight shrug. When he borrowed his sweater, she put it on right away and smiled, "Thanks...again." He was literally saving her life there, since it was starting to become a bit chilly. "Let's go back to the castle...the weather is suiting to the month already." She commented, taking a few steps ahead of him.

She lightly laughed and nodded, "That's a mother..." For sure, since hers would only freak out if Marie wrote to her, thinking that she had done something wrong, another mistake. "My dad died, three years ago...and mom, well...we don't exactly have a good relationship." She confessed. It was hard to accept the truth, but reality had to be faced. "But it's great, that your mom does that, that's sort of saying that she'd rather be here with you..." One ouch at a time...

"Oh yeah. It was the bomb..." Marie answered, letting out a small giggle, and remembering her little sister's phrases.

Gideon walked with Selina back up to the castle from the quidditch pitch, the duo certainly quiet as they moved along the grounds. The fourth year was trying to find something to talk about other then the failed topic of quidditch and their relationship...whatever that was at the moment since and the kiss and he couldn't help failing miserably so the silence lingered between them until one of the house of the brave had the courage to break it.

Jade was walking around, alone in her own thoughts. She really needed to find someone to talk to, but she couldn't put her finger on who she wanted to talk to. Later on today, she was meeting Nikolas at the Three Broomsticks, but she didn't understand why he wanted to meet her there. It was probably nothing anyhow.

Suddenly, a first year bumped into her, and she rolled her eyes. "Watch where you're going, kid." She said, moving out of the way. She wasn't short and she wasn't invisible. So why were all these first years bumping into her?

Selina was fiddling with her jacket zipper as the two of them walked in silence back to the castle. The silence was so awful she thought she might scream, but then she would need to break the silence and she was too afraid to do so first. So she kept her mouth quiet, which was usually something Selina never did. She was always so talkative and always had something to say. He had stricken her completely quiet.

Each step she made crunched into the cold and stale ground. She wanted the sound to be anything besides the crunching ground, it was driving her batty. Then she slowed down and stopped in her steps. She looked down at the ground and said awkwardly, "So now what?"

Selena, with Kent in her arms, decided to go out for a bit of a stroll. She ran into someone and shrugged. Whatever, Kent needed to SEE all of Hogwarts before she left for Christmas break. Maybe she'd just stay with Kent. Yes, that sounded like fun. Selena bumped into dozens of people on her way out... but mostly it was their fault since they were tall. She finally reached the pathways and continued walking quickly.

"Excusseee meee," she squeaked as she continued to weave through the people.

Selena bumped into yet another person and this time she fell over, Kent rolled out of her arms. "HEY! Watch where you're going! There's a pygmy puff on board!" Selena huffed. Really, tall people needed to watch where they were going. Selena picked up the purple pygmy puff with a hat on its head and glared at the person with her violet eyes.

Ewh... it was Horribly, evil mean person.

"I wasn't whining" Daichi said back but grinned too when his friend had walked up to him. He shivered again as another breeze of cold wind came and he eyed the bottle in Thea's hand. "Why are we even doing this here?" he asked but then shrugged as he gave his own bottle of hate potion to Thea.

"Uhm...before we drink this" Daichi bit his lower lip as he stared at the ground. "Whatever we say..no hard feelings, right?" And this was something he had never said before so this was the time. "And, uhm, i really like you as a friend so i hope to be friends even after this." It was just a potion right? It wasn't like they were going to hate each other forever?! The effects wear off at some points, hopefully. Now that he thought about it, he wondered if they would remember having hated each other after the effects were gone.

Grabbing Daichi's bottle, she handed him her own. 'Because if we don't, professor Lafay will pour it down our throats herself..' Thea grinned. Wrapping her scarf more tightly round her neck, Thea suppressed a shiver. Brr!
Thea stared at Daichi. Oh brilliant. She rolled her eyes. 'I knew you'd be worried!' She placed a hand on her hip. 'Of course we'll be friends, fool! I'm not that bad.. this won't be much of a change.' A slightly amused expression showed up on Thea's sharp face. Fiddling with one of her earing she sighed. 'Now we've established I'm not going to hate you forever-' She paused to roll her eyes again.. 'Are we going to do this?..' An eyebrow shot up. Muhaha.

Daichi laughed as he heard Thea's retord. "You know, even without the potion you have a way of making me uncomfortable but the fact that you want to be my friend even after this makes it up for it"And that was actually a compliment. He stopped laughing but his eyes were still smiling. He grabbed Thea's bottle of hate potion and looked back up at Thea as she rolled her eyes which made Daichi grin stupidly. He liked her. Not as is in, like-like but liking as a friend, she was someone that kept pushing him in a weird and sometimes scary way but it was all too help him.

Right, the potion they were here for. Daichi nodded as he uncorked the bottle and after eye-ing it for a second or two he placed it on his mouth and drank it in one gulp. It tasted disgusting! And knowing that Thea's hair had been in it made it even worse, yuck!

At first he didn't feel different. He started to wonder if Thea had made the potion correctly and not that he had cat ears when a sudden feeling boiled up inside of him. It was something he had never felt before. Not even when the doctors had said they couldn't help his mother or when he had his little verbal fight with Marcelo at the swimming pond until Professor Bentley broke them up. He took a deep breath as the effects wore off and he opened his eyes, thinking that it was done ...until he opened his mouth too.

"Are you going to just stand there rolling you're eyes like you're stupid or are you going to drink that potion!" There was no smile on Daichi's lips, no twinkles in his eyes. He looked cold and calculating as he folded his arms over each other, bottle still in his hand. "Well, come on! I don't have all day!"

Rolling her eyes at Daichi again, Thea grinned. 'What can I say! it's a gift.' Winking, she took the top off his bottle and drank it. Oh wow. BLEURGH. She was drinking something.. with a Slytherin's hair in it.. and that's when hse heard his retort.

She didn't know if it was her or the potion but Thea growled.. not just her usual little ones but a REAL growl. 'Excuse me?' She took a step forward. 'That was big of you, too say that! You normally wouldn't say BOO to a goose..' Folding her arms she smirked. 'You act so quiet and ..innocent.' She scowled. 'Do you actually not even realise how ANNOYING it is?!' Thea was really mad, and she didn't even know why! Ok, she was bad.. but not this bad. Seriously.

Curling her fingers up, she flexed them. Oh woa.. if she punched him accidently would she be in trouble?...

If he had been in any other situation without a hate potion, Daichi would have shied away and would mutter apologizes while bowing but this time he caught even himself off guard when he did none of these things but took a step forward too when Thea had taken a step. He stared directly in to her eyes, trying to make her feel uncomfortable as he saw the hatred in his own eyes reflect back to him.

When she spoke, Daichi listened to what she had too say and fought the urge to roll his eyes. He continued to stare coldly at her until a small sarcastic smile plastered on his face. He wanted to slap her smirk away. "And it never crossed you're little mind that i do that to get what i want, eh?" he said , much more quieter than he felt. Okay what he had said was false, but somehow he felt like saying those things...maybe there was a little devil inside of him but it had never popped up before?

He didn't take a step back but continued to stare at her as though they had a staring contest. But he couldn't help but glance downwards when he saw a sudden motion. He grinned as he looked back up. "What?" Daichi asked as he faked an innocent tone. "Are you going to hit me?" He snorted unamused. "You know, this is exactly why i dislike GryffindorDORKS , you always think about fighting without logic, just punching..and don't try to deny it" he waited for a a second as he looked at her now flexed hand. "You always act so tough and you are always trying to scare me which annoys me so much that everytime you do that i want to curse you. But i know that in reality you're a nice girl. Which despises me even more."

Gideon had to admit even in the short time...roughly four months he had known Selina...he had never seen her this quiet. Usually she was a bumbling, fiery, emotional girl not afraid to speak her mind and he had stuned her into silence, or at least what had happened had. He himself had been this quiet for the previous 3 years so it wasn't so out of the ordinary.

"So now...we discuss our options..." he mused finally speaking to answer her question as he stopped with Selina and turned towards her. "Do we ignore what happened? Do we realize what happened and chalk it up to a mistake or..." Gideon broke off at that point leaving out the third option that came to mind. The idea that would no doubt cause some controversy.

Selina stood plastered in her spot as Gideon tried to muster up the words to speak. Finally when he did she swore that he had said more in that moment the the two of them had said to one another since the incident. Is that how they would refer to that moment from now on? The incident? It made it sound so unnatural and weird, but she had sort of liked it. In a weird way, of course, because she had nothing else to measure it against.

When he started to riddle off their options she looked at him softly. Part of her wanted to show some strength, the way she usually had, but it was hard right now. Their entire relationship was on extremely thin ice and she didn't want her big, stupid mouth to mess anything up. So maybe if she was quiet it would resolve a lot of issues. Then again if she didn't say something she might regret it... STUPID CHRISTOPHER!

After listening to his options she decided to speak up, "Do you want to ignore that it happened?"

And yet, ANOTHER person bumped into her. Jade heard that strange, squeaky voice and she couldn't help but get an instant headache. It was that weird girl of course. "Okay, you seriously need to watch where you're going. This is getting absolutely ridiculous." She said, crossing her arms as she looked at the weird girl on the ground.

So, that thing is a pygmy puff? Why would anyone want to have one of those anyways? "Why do you bring that fluff ball everywhere you go, anyways? Doesn't it get dirty at all?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. It's like the girl was bringing a dust bunny everywhere she went. Gross.

Selena glared at the girl, standing up and dusted off herself as well as her purple puffball. She rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at the mean evil girl. "No, you do, I knoooow where I'm going, it appears that you can't look down to see who's there," she said, snuggling her pygmy puff. Kent didn't look too happy about being on the ground. Selena picked up a small dust ball and flicked it in a random direction - at the taller, horribly evil girl.

"It's none of your business, it's like asking why do you always walk around and breathe air other breathe, doesn't it dirty the air the rest of us breathe?" Selena asked in a semi-serious voice. Because really, Sel ought to leave so she didn't breathe contaminated air. "And, Kent likes being with me and I like Kent, why don't you ever have anyone with you?" Selena asked, tilting her head to a side.

because she didn't have any friends? hmph.

Gideon watched Selina as he spoke and waited for a response, any response he could get out of her so he could try and make sense of it all and have some clue as to her own thoughts. When she finally spoke up once more herself, asking his opinion on the ignoring option, the fourth year thought it over for a moment or two his gazing falling down before responding to her.

"No...I don't," he answered with a shake of his head before looking back up at her. Ignoring it would never work unless they found an older student good with memory charms and erased it away. Otherwise it would linger in the back of everything and who knows when it would come out to bite them.

"Do you?"
