"There was only pink and purple so...I got the purple." Yeah, the explanation wasn't needed, but Kennedy didn't want the girl to think he wasn't manly. Plus, it was Professor Lafay who had chosen the Pygmy Puffs, not him.

"Oh, sorry, she likes attention," Kennedy said, apologetically. What if the girl minded Puff jumping on her? "They allow dogs at Hogwarts?" Kennedy asked, his growing a bit wide with curiosity. He's always wanted a dog. Did Puff have a name? "Um, no...well, kind of. She responds to Puff, though." Not as in Hufflepuff, but Pygmy Puff.

"Sweet." said Victoria. Purple is out of the ordinary, well...at least according to her.

"Oh, no. It's okay!" Victoria didn't mind it at all that the cute pygme puff jump on her. She's usually pretty friendly with animals and creatures, unless they're something like the blasted-end skwrets. Blaah...

Victoria looked uncertain. "I guess so...they didn't say anything about my dog when I brought it in...so I guess it's okay." MERLIN"S BEARD! Victoria totally forgot about that! She remembered something about allowing the headmaster know about bringing a dog to school, but she forgot to inform it! What is someone finds out about her dog that is not officially approved yet?

"Puff? As in Hufflepuff?" asked Victoria clearly mistakened as she looked uncertainly at the boy's badge. She definitely did thought he was a Slytherin by looking at his Snake Badge, but why else would he name the cute little thing Puff? And why is he wearing a Slytherin Badge? *GASP* Maybe he stole it and trying to play a little joke.

*STARES*

Kennedy grinned and made a mental note to teach Puff some manners. Jumping on people wasn't very polite after all.

Cooool. Kennedy would definitely have to save up to buy a dog, maybe not a big one, but a small one instead. "What kind of breed is your dog?" His favorites were Huskies, but his mom would probably pass out if he ever brought one home.

"N-No," he said, quickly. He had some knowledge that some snakes didn't like Hufflepuffs, but then there were others that were really friendly to them. Either way, this didn't seem good. Especially, the way the girl was staring at him and his robes. "S-She's named after Pygmy Puff...Puff." Yeah, 'cause the fluffy creature had thrown a tantrum when he called her Pig.

"Half shih tzu and half terrier." Replied Victoria, stroking the pygme puff who seems to be falling asleep on her shoulder. One thing she prefer about a pygme puff is that they don't make much noises, unlike her dog which barks at anything(especially cats).

Victoria loosened her stare. Thank Merlin he wasn't a Huffie, or else she'll have to tell him that they're going to flatten their tails out in their next quidditch match, whenever that would be. "Good, you weren't playing a trick." She would also would have stomp on his foot if he stole some Slytherin's clothing and wore it. But he didn't, so that's good."

"Well you better change it because people'll think you're a Hufflepuff." said Victoria. "Not that I don't like the name or anything, it's just...very Huffie-ish." Victoria paused as she thought of names that might be good for the pygme puff. "How about Pig? As in Pygme Puff?" suggest Victoria, clearly thinking the opposite of him.

"Cool, I want a big dog, but I don't think they allow them here," he said. He doubted the Headmaster would like a Husky running around the grounds causing havoc. Or, his mom. His mom would be a lot more furious than the Headmaster, and of that, Kennedy was sure of.

Playing a trick? He wouldn't do that and as far as he's seen the snakes, some were grumpy and he didn't want to get in their way. "I-I wouldn't do that," And, he wouldn't want to found out by a snake if he ever did.

He knew she was right. That had been his first thought, but he had ignored it. It was too much like Hufflepuff and he clearly wasn't one. "Pig?" Oh no, he wouldn't dare. "No, no, no," he said, shaking his head, staring at the sleeping Puff. "Last time I called her a Pig," he whispered the word pig. "S-She bit me." He rubbed his finger when it had been bitten. Kennedy didn't want that to happen again.

Ronnie walked up to the Hourglasses. She looked at the points and sighed. Third place?! How could this be??

Victoria gave a weak smile. Heehee...they don't allow dogs here...echoed again and again in her head...

"Wouldn't do what? Play a trick?" He is a Snake and he wouldn't play a trick? "You've got to experience some fun once in a while."

YIKES!

Yeah, those were pretty terrible bites. It is hard to believe how a sweet, little innocent creature that's falling asleep on Victoria's shoulder would do such thing. "Well if Pig doesn't work, maybe you should try naming her something pretty like...Rose or Rosie." suggest Victoria as she looked at the pygme puff's fur. "Or Lavender, because of her purple fur."

Selena was skipping through the hall, with Kent in her arms. Kent was not missing out on Selena's first National Hug a Slytherin day, nu-uh. And she was determined to hug the most amount of Slytherins. Spotting a girl with a pygmy puff... and a Slytherin, Selena beamed. Selena immediately raced over to the girl and hugged her haaard. "Happy National Slytherin Day!" Selena exclaimed, beaming before looking at the pygmy puff. "Cute puff," Selena said, smirking as she looked down at her own, slightly peeved pygmy puff. The tiny Slytherin then giggled before noticing that the person the girl was talking to was a Slytherin tooo!!

*HUGGED* YEAH. She hugged another completely random Slytherin. Beaming, she simply said, "It's national Hug a Slytherin day!" before racing off to find another victim Slytherin.

That made... TWO.

Victoria became very annoying when some RANDOM person came and HUGGED her? Just like that? RANDOMLY? "Excuse me," said Victoria. "That was...quite random." Victoria couldn't help being curious why this random Slytherin girl just HUGGED her. She can understand it when sometimes a random person comes up and say hello, but HUGS somebody randomly?

"National Slytherin Day?" There was a day of her house and Victoria didn't know? Shame.

"Oh, it's not mine. It's his." Victoria said, pointing to the boy she was talking to. But she wished it was hers!

"N-No, I meant like not playing tricks on people in my own house...unless they wanted to?" he said. Great, he probably seemed like such a softy.

"Rosie?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. That was way TOO girly for his liking. "Um, maybe she won't like that either," he said, hoping the Pygmy Puff wouldn't like it. "But, I'll definitely be looking for a new name," he said, nodding his head. Now, did the library have any name books?

Kennedy's eyes grew large when a girl randomly hugged both of them. "W-What..." he said, but the girl was already leaving. Will this weird Hug a Slytherin day ever end.

He looked back at the girl he was previously talking to before being interrupted. "Well, uh, Happy Hug a Slytherin day," he said, sheepishly. Where are your manners, Escalante. Kennedy then out stretched his hand and said, "Oh, um, I'm Kennedy...Kennedy Escalante," he said, finally introducing himself.

"I meant hug a Slytherin day," the fifth year said, nodding her head full of brown hair. And it was a lovely day. She looked at Kent then at the pygmy puff the girl was trying to name. "Oh, okay," Selena said, before turning to look at the dude and repeating what she had said. "Cute puff," she said. Mentally she added that Kent was cuter but... erhm, you couldn't say that out loud.

Selena stopped, took a few steps backwards because the dude was introductioning himself so she had to be polite. Selena shook his hand and beamed. "Nice to met you Kennedy Escalante, I'm Selena Zabini-Riddle, and this," she said as she held up her dark purple pygmy puff, "Is Kent, he's a pygmy puff too, just awesomer." So much for keeping that last part to herself.

Victoria raised her eyebrows. So Rosie wasn't good enough for him? "Well it's better then Puff and Pig." said Victoria as she thought of more names. Naming a pygme puff isn't an easy thing.

Seriously, what is a Hug a Slytherin Day?? "I'm Victoria." said Victoria as she shook Kennedy's hand.

"I'm sorry, I still don't know what that is." said Victoria. So you just walked around hugging random people?

Why was there a lack of Slytherins wandering the halls of Hogwarts. She only had hugged fifteen of them, and that was disappointing. Maybe they had all heard about it, and they were hiding in their common room. They thought they would be safe there, but they were sadly mistaken, there was a Slytherin participating in NHASD. Who's name she did not know, and who was standing right there.

Isobel had already hugged her though, so she didn't really care at the moment. All she cared about were the two other Slytherins she spotted. She had already hugged one of them, so she focused on the other one. Isobel ran over to her and hugged her. "Happy National Hug A Slytherin day," she said. Then she ran into the Great Hall, to see if there were any more Slytherins at their table. She had sixteen now.

Violet held her camera up to her eye, fiddled with the focus knob until the picture was crystal clear, then snapped the picture, catching a few emeralds in the very act of falling downward into the bottom of the Slytherin hourglass. There, that would be a great picture--especially since Slytherin was ahead! Professor Lafay was bound to like that.

"Nice camera. I used to have a camera like yours, but I accidentaly drowned it in the toilet... Never mind that. First year too, aren't you?"

Walking threw the main doors Angelina took a glance at the hourglasses. Not really clearly seeing what how was were she walk closer to the hourglasses and looked at each one and match up who was in last, 3rd, 2nd and 1st.

Yesss! Slytherins first!!

Angelina smiled when she saw this and walked from the hourglasses to the Slytherin common room. While walking she thought about how last year she heard Slytherin won. She woundered if that was true...

Ronnie walked to the hourglasses, and felt her heart drop. Slytherin was first?! She sighed and looked at Gryffindor. They had to get the house cup, they had to!

Harvey didn’t want to study anymore, so he decided to check out the hour glasses to see where they were on points. He hadn’t checked out the hourglasses since coming to the school, what he had heard about the points he heard from his fellow Housemates.

Upon arriving there he saw that it was indeed true, they were behind Slytherin on points, he hoped they could catch-up and pass them on points. He had Tiger in his little bag that was around his body, he felt that bag shivering. He instantly knew that something was up with Tiger, so he took him out.

Harvey instantly knew why the bag was shivering. Tiger was cold, which was unusual since it was a warm day outside, so Harvey couldn’t understand why Tiger would be cold. But as Tiger’s guardian he knew he had to do something. He got out his wand "Hang on Buddy I will help you as I always do. Argentum" *swish* "Calidus" *tap* he tapped Tiger, and immediately Tiger stopped shivering and Harvey felt that he was warm again.

Harvey smiled at his egg, but upon closer inspection he realised something. A smile started to creep up on Harvey’s face, to which Tiger became a little scared and confused. Suddenly Tiger saw the wand come out again and instantly knew what was coming, he tried to run "Oh no you don’t!" Harvey said as he tightened his grip on Tiger. "Argentum" *twirl* "Humidus" *point* he pointed at Tiger.

He started to scrub him, almost losing him. Once he was done he dried him "Argentum" *twirl* "Siccus!" *points* he pointed at Tiger, Tiger was dry. Harvey was about to put him back inside when he realised that there was one spell he hadn’t done for a while. "Excolo!" He said tracing Tiger with his wand. Tiger became shiney again.
