Hateya was just wandering the castle, getting reacquainted and all of that, when she spotted the hourglasses and stopped. How were there already negative points? And more importantly, who got them? Someone in Slytherin, obviously, or maybe several someones. Hopefully not anyone she knew.

Eris walked over to the hourglasses with a grimace, her house was already in the negatives. Hopefully that wouldn't last long of course...then again...how does someone actually gain points? The small boyish witch thought this over carefully, but came up with nothing. Perhaps displaying extraordinary good behavior?

Aurora walked past the four hourglasses with different colors. She supposed that they were to keep track of the house points. It was so cool that they had real hourglasses to do such a thing. At her old school, the teachers had to keep track and it was always a little disorganized.

Ah, She thought to herself looking at the green coloured hourglass--the Slytherins already had 12 points taken off and the term hadn't barely begun!

Janice wandered in the ground floor and came across those fancy-looking hourglasses. Oh, she thought, this must be the one that they use to do the points-count. Slytherin's got 12 points off before the classes have even begun! I wonder what happened to them.....
And by that point, she made a mental note that HUFFLEPUFF will be the house that will win the House Cup this year. Whatever it takes.

Maddy wandered into the room where the hourglasses were kept. She examined the glasses, there were no gemstones in them yet but below she noticed there were stones that indicated the number of house points. Of course, Slytherin was already down 12. Thanks A LOT.

Raven just had a walk and she just noticed the hourglasses. All of the houses got minus point, but Slytherin still be the lowest

"Although Slytherin gain the lowest point at now, but I'm sure we will win the House Cup!" said her.

Jerrod where walking on the ground floor corridor when he noticed the Hourglasses. They were so magnificant and fascinating. He just couldn't take his eyes of them. Then he saw that Ravenclaw had -15 points. He sighed. Huh? Ah, whatever, we will regain them. He thought and walked away with a smile.

Faven was enjoying some rare time for exploring when she happened upon four hourglasses, though at the moment, they seemed to be empty. It seemed that there was nothing in them though....odd. Upon closer look, Faven realized that each hour glass was for a House. Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw....none had jewels. Was is possible that they all had negetive points? Though it seemed rude, Faven secretly hoped so, then maybe her loss of 5 points for Hufflepuff wouldn't be as big of a deal.....

Jenny was rushing towards her next class (she was eating lunch for too long, it seemed) when something made her come to a sudden halt. Quickly, she turned to look at the hourglasses.

None of the houses had negative points anymore. But that wasn't the only thing that caught her attention...

Ravenclaw. In the lead. With over 200 house points.

Yes!!! Jenny jumped up for joy a bit before stopping herself. That was something she didn't get to see very often. Maybe she should try a bit harder in her classes to earn some house points as well.

Jez wandered past the hourglasses. Gryffindor was coming last, Hufflepuff third, Slytherin second ... and Ravenclaw was in the lead! Jez grinned at the saphire-filled Ravenclaw hourglass happily.
Let's keep that lead, 'Claws!

While walked along at castle, Raven just dropped at the Hourglass. She saw the one who filled by emerald gemstones.

"Nice job, serpents! We need to work harder to win again the housecup!"

Theodore, strolling in after speaking to Professor Bentley in her office, took a passing glance at the hourglasses. Seeing the blue sapphires in the hourglass of Ravenclaw piled higher than any of the others brought a smile to his face. They would get the House Cup this year; he could feel it in his bones!

His smile faltered for a moment, eyebrows rising, as he saw a small girl in the vicinity leap into the air. Was that a jump for joy? Noticing her Ravenclaw robes, Theodore remarked, "Excited about the house points, too?" The trace of a smile was on his face.

Jenny gave a little jump at the voice that she suddenly heard. She turned her head back and forth, wondering who it could be. Then, she finally noticed a tall boy right behind her wearing blue robes...and a prefect badge! He must be one of the Ravenclaw prefects. Jenny frowned a bit, since she hasn't talked to anyone from her house in a while.

"Hello." Jenny greeted the prefect nervously. "Of course, I'm excited. I mean..." Jenny stared back at the hourglasses. "It's likely that Slytherin might catch up at some point, or maybe Gryffindor even, so it's best to celebrate what we have for now." Yep. And she shouldn't forget her manners either. "I'm Jenny Takahashi, by the way."

Ryan was just casually walking when he noticed some hourgalsses for each of the houses.No Ravenclaw are winning Gryffindor better get some points

After had transfiguration class, Raven just dropped herself at the hourglasses. Slytherin is in first position now!


"Great job, Serpents! Make sure we'll win all of the competition this year!"

Harlow was coming in from the student gardens and checking on MoMo. She was walking past eh hour glass when the change in emeralds caught her eye. Slytherin was ahead. Harlow smiled to herself. "Well this is a nice surprise." she said to no one in particular.

The Portraits had been of as much help as Princess Tori had been.

He was actually trying to think of a way to practice the spell that Magnus had taught but couldn't think of what more to change his hair into. The boy was tapping his head as he walked and reciting the same incantation as before. "Fel-in-tas," over and over again, but not getting any changes because of his lack of focus...


...until he noticed the Hourglasses in front of him and he felt something happened to his hair.

Treyen froze. Both for the scary thought of having damaged his hair even more than Lorelai Bristol had, and for the very little points Hufflepuffs had. He was one to blame, he'd failed to attend a couple lessons because he was...

...OH, WAIT, his hair! Right! It was...it seemed...curly...somehow...and longer as well...like...remember Oliver Greenwood? Remember his curls? Yeah, something like that, it seemed, for that's what he saw in the nearest reflecting surface he could find.

"Intaris! Intaris! Intaris!" he suddenly exclaimed, tapping his head like a mad man, trying to focus as much as he could until his hair was finally back, his eyes on the Hourglasses, and the wand in his pocket. No more playing with Transfiguration spells. Off to the Common Room seemed better, actually.

As Katrina passed by the Great Hall, she saw people crowding around the Hourglasses. She walked to see the results.

"YES!" Katrina half-screamed, half-muttered. Slytherin was on the lead! She knew Slytherin would win the House Cup...maybe.

After finally managing to leave the dorm for the first time in the past couple days, Matt ended up near the hourglasses; he stared blankly at the gems in each glass, really not caring that there was 73 point difference between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. The only thing he cared about was finding Stella and talking to her about what had been said thanks to the hate potion, he couldn't forget that even if he wanted to since it was just so hard to stop thinking about the mere sight of making his friend cry, or was she even his friend anymore? He just didn't know where they had stood anymore and that was something that he really wanted to find out since he wasn't exactly sure if he could continue along this whole not talking thing.

Angelina hasn't really checked the hourglasses in a few weeks now, so she decided to go check them out. She walked up to them and looked. Happily Slytherin was on the top! Hopefully they will win the house cup, and as well they just won the Quidditch match between Gryffindor.

Stella had put a lot of thought into how she was going to deal with this moment. Speaking to Matt again, after what had happened in the gazebo. Obviously she'd had quite enough time to acknowledge to herself that it was the potion, and that the result was probably her reason why she'd had a hard time asking him to help her with testing it. Plus, there was always the possibility that she'd caused him frustration even before the potion had brought out a cruel side that she was hoping he truly didn't actually have inside him. She didn't need another boy close to her turning out to not be so good for her, but then she didn't want to burden Matt with that whole story right now either. She just had to hope that somehow things could all get straightened out, that maybe they could start over or something.

She'd stopped on the stairs as she saw him waiting by the hourglasses, though, still needing to get up the courage to face him again. There was still a bit of guilt there for making him feel the need to help her, let alone the other thing. She forced herself to keep moving, however, and walked the rest of the way down and over to him. "Um, hello?," she said tentatively, still a bit nervous even though she knew she had to talk to him again. She didn't know what would happen after that.

After mere moments of just staring at the constantly falling gems, Matt was startled by the sound of Stella's voice; it was no secret that he had missed talking to her since they practically spent a lot of time just hanging out but that changed as soon as the whole hate potion thing had happened. The question that had been bothering him the past few days probably would have been finally answered but it could wait to be asked until after anything else that had to be said about what had happened had been said. "Oh.. hey, how are you?" That was a good place to start with the conversation since he wasn't about to go right into what he actually wanted to say only since he wasn't looking to make things even more uncomfortable than they already were.

Fiddling with the blue and brown bracelet on his wrist, he couldn't even bring himself to look at her; merely because he didn't want this to be any more difficult than it had to be. Isn't it somehow ironic you're wearing a bracelet that's practically Ravenclaw colours and you're talking to Stella? Oddly that was a strange thought but at least it managed to keep his mind off of the thoughts that had been circling his brain for a bit too long.

Lilly went to see the hourglass. Second last. But Violet wasn't having much luck either in Hufflepuff.

The very normalcy of Matt's response actually took Stella aback a little. Not because she'd thought he wouldn't have responded, but more that it actually hurt that he was, basically, being so impersonal. Like they literally were going back to the beginning, and even though she'd wanted to start over, she'd wanted to just go back to how they'd been before that Potions lesson. Not having that was hard, and she found it took her a moment to figure out a response. She was still hoping she hadn't broken things that badly, but it seemed it was going to take time to find that out. "J'ai connu mieux," she murmured, before remembering that he didn't speak French. "I mean, I've been better. Understandably," she clarified, before just continuing to explain herself in a rush before she could stop herself. "I know at least most of what happened was probably the potion talking, but it still really hurt to hear that. Part of that's my own problem, and I'm sorry if that hurt you in any way. But I can't really lie and say that everything that happened didn't get to me..."

As she realized that she was starting to go off into a tangent that most likely wouldn't help anything, she trailed off. She didn't want to make things worse. But then, as she tried to organize her thoughts again, she noticed him fidgeting with a bracelet on his wrist and eyed it for a moment. That was kind of weird. Not him wearing the bracelet, as it really wasn't like it was delicate jewelry, but... "That's kind of an interesting color choice," she found herself saying, completely forgetting her monologue from a few seconds before that might have made him not want to talk to her again. Hopefully she hadn't caused more problems.
