Two more to go. Ariella's head was already sore from all the pulling and yanking. Why was it that pixies seemed to be specially attracted to wavy blonde hair? She groaned as she started to twist the second cap off. She felt a tickling down at her hand and looked down to see a hideous pixie trying to BITE her! She screamed and smacked it away, causing several things on her table to fall off. The pixie rushed back towards her face and yanked her side bangs. "OUCH!!!" she yelled, seizing her wand.

"STUPEFY!!!!!!!" she shouted loudly. The pixie fell to the table, rubbing its head. Ugh. What ugly creatures. She deposited the second cap into the box and took a deep breath, tightening her grip on her wand for the last batch of pixies. "This is ridiculous," she mumbled under her breath.

Stup..efy? Kourt's eyes moved up and down and side to side until they finally settled back on Indiana as she raised her wand to use a bit of magic. "EEP!" She squealed, raising her wand as the now un-stunned pixie swooped towards them. "Stupefy!!" She exclaimed, watching as the pixie froze in mid-flight just inches in front of her face. She nearly threw her wand down and grabbed the cap of the toadstool as relief washed over her. "Thanks!" She squeaked as she twisted the cap off. Wow, this magic stuff wasn't easy at all. And there were way too many dangers.

August looked back at the Professor as she said it was ok and that he just needed to pay more attention to rules. 'Well if it was then give me my points back.' the third year thought to himself but didn't say it out loud. That would be rude and he did break the class rules.

Ok so after looking into his basket, the Gryffindor saw that he only needed one more Toadstool and there was a large one just a few feet from him with two Pixies guarding it. August lunged forward and shot a stunning spell at one, "Stupefy!" and it fell with a thud, but the second one bit his free hand and after a short cry of suprise, August flung him off and then shot him with another stunning spell.

He got the last Toadstool!

Someone needed help! Maddy ran over, she'd get a chance to use the new freezing spell she just learned again! "Kay, hold still" Maddy said to Harlow. "Immobulus!" Maddy said, and the pixies tugging on Harlow's hair froze and floated off. Maddy thought she was very brave to help another first year

Penny smiled at the girl, she seemed nice and Penny remembered what she felt like on her very first day last year..she had been absolutely terrified of everything...

"No problem, anytime.... if you need anything else - just holler, i'll be around here somewhere"

Time to actually start twisting caps, Maddy thought. She had been dirtracted by the pixies.Now that they were mostly gone, they wouldn't gett in the way. She picked up her first peppermint toadstool and twisted the cap off. It made the air smell even more pepperminty, then she walked over to the closest jar and dropped it in.

Okay..one down and two to go. The task seemed especially daunting with all of these creatures flying through the air. Speaking of creatures...she noticed one buzzing nearby, and then other joined it; the two hovering near the toadstools. Oh great. Stupid pixies were guarding the toadstools.

Glancing at Indy, she raised her wand just as she felt a tug on her robes. What on....?

A loud squeal sounded as she felt another tug and noticed three pixies grabbing at her. "St-stupefy!" She cried, pointing her wand at the closest one. "Indy!!!"

There were pixies in there... Ashley eyed the mushrooms, a little worried. If it had been as hard as it was to get the other toadstool to settle down, how well was he going to do with pixies?
Putting on his confidence pants, he strode on up to the toadstools and peered into them. His classmates had already started, so he was hoping this wasn't going to take too long. He didn't want to be the last one still dealing with this.
Because the mushrooms had already been disturbed quite a bit, his first one was easy. No pixies to be found. Somehow, he thought that was very boring. Even if they were bothersome, he sort of felt like it was cheating to take the cap of a toadstool that wasn't going to give him trouble.
But he had two more to go, didn't he? He went ahead and retrieved that cap, carefully looking about for any surprise pixies that planned to ambush him for it. When it was in his hand, he went ahead and pulled up those confidence pants, going to put the cap into the box when he found himself face-first falling to the ground.
Pixie ambush!
He looked up to see the little thing about to dive for his head and crawled as fast as he could to the box. First thing was to get the cap out of his hand so that he didn't accidentally crush it or anything. Into the box it went, and he turned around just in time to whack the pursuing pixie with his wand. Was he allowed to hit them? Either way, it wasn't bothering him anymore, so he quickly got up and ran back across the room, hoping like hell no one saw him on the floor. That was just plain embarrassing.

Harvey had never seen these pixies (as they called them before) so he was thinking this would not be so bad. But then he saw his classmates doing spells left, right and centre. He saw one classmate shout stupefy and he saw a pixie look stunned, so he knew how to stun one. Just as he was looking at his other classmates he saw a pixie come towards him so he decided to use the spell he had just heard. "Stupefy!!!" he pointed at the pixie a spell shot out and hit the pixie, it was stunned. Harvey kept looking at the pixie he had stunned and then his wand he had just casted his first spell. He then realised his task and saw a way to the toadstools. He ran for it and got to the toadstool, he saw a pixie coming for him and just at the last minute he ducked and the pixie wizzed pass. He pulled off a cap and deposited it into the box, he got ready to twist of a second cap.

Indiana blinked as she watched Kourt. Eep. She was getting attacked by three pixies. That was not good at all. Poor Kourt seemed to look really overwhelmed. "Coming..." She beamed, quickly hurrying over to her friend. She couldn't let her friend get attacked by pixies. That was not good at all. She smiled at her friend, hoping that the pixies didn't start attacking her.

But eep. One was coming over. Indiana shook her head, grabbing her wand, and quickly pointed it at the pixies. "Stupefy!" Come on. Work for now. To stop us getting attacked please.

Harlow was struggling and twisting in the air trying to get out of their grasp. Two students were coming to her air. That was sweet. She stopped struggling so she wouldn't get hit with a spell or anything. She didn't want to be stunned.

She dropped like a sack of potatoes. "OW!" now that wasn't fun at all. She let the older girl help her stand. "Oh goodness. Thank you both." she nodded at both of them. "Pixies just don't like me I guess", Harlow shrugged. "I'm Harlow by the way." she gave them both a shaky curtsy and a big smile before headed back over to snag a cap.

She wobbled back over to her bench and quickly twisted off a cap. Now this she knew how to do.

"I will. Hopefully I won't need to though!" Everyone was so nice here, it was brilliant.

Olivia turned and headed towards another Toadstool, there was only one Pixie there so hopefully even if her spell wasn't very good it would be enough to give her time to get her third and final cap.

"Immobulus!" She said, pointing her wand and praying that it would be enough. It didn't work quite as well as she'd hoped but it made the Pixie too slow to catch her and she was able to get the third cap. With a slight skip in her step, she headed towards the box and deposited all three.

Thank goodness Indy was rather quick about it, casting the stunning spell to stop the pixie in its tracks. Kourt waved her wand and stunned another pixie who was trying its hardest to yank her robes from her shoulder. Nasty little creatures! She stunned another one that was flying near Indy and blew her curls from her forehead.

She was hot and felt icky. Ugh. She scooted closer to the table after making sure that no pixies were near her or Indy. Holding the top of the toadstool, she twisted off another cap and pulled it up.

Just as she did so, another pixie swept by, tugging the cap from her fingers. "GIVE THAT BACK!!" She cried, nearly swinging her wand at the creature. Oy! "Stupefy!!"

The pixie froze, the expression on its face making Kourt giggle. "Silly pixie; the cap is for me." She dropped the two caps into the box and then returned to the table to try to retrieve the third.

Harvey twisted off a second cap, when a pixie came and grabbed the cap, Harvey pulled him off and threw him away. Another pixie saw this and came towards Harvey, he casts the stunning spell at it but misses but he manages to stun it with a second shot. He deposits the cap in the box.

So maybe cheating, but somehow Ashley wouldn't have minded if he managed to avoid any more pixies. He knew the spells he was supposed to use to shut them down, but he hadn't actually used them yet. Really, he'd mostly just seen his classmates using them. Just now. But they seemed to be doing alright with that, and it didn't seem too hard. He watched someone, then copied what they did, not actually saying the words yet. He wanted to make sure he had the wandy part right first. He didn't want to accidentally explode the pixies.
Did pixies explode?
Well, if they did, he didn't really want to find out right now.
Going in for a second cap! He actually stretched a bit, like he was about to exercise or play a sport or something, then bounced a bit in place, pointing his wand at the toadstools. Yeah! Come on pixies!
Narrowing his eyes, he inched closer, having already picked out the cap he was going for, mostly because it was closest to him. Grabbing the cap, his eyes darted around, on the lookout. Ever vigilant. Not to be caught with his back turned again!
This time, before he could even pull the thing off, he was... oh. Caught with his back turned. Again.
At first he flailed a bit, finding himself giving a couple of pixies piggyback rides against his will. But then he realized, they weren't actually doing much yet, and so he got back to the task of getting the cap, starting off for the box again.
That was when they decided to go into action, apparently, because suddenly he was finding himself being tugged up onto his toes, wriggling and trying to reach his back to knock them off. Clearly they were trying to lift him up, and he couldn't reach them. "Aah, help!?" he said to anyone he was made to tiptoe-wriggle past, sort of wishing that embarrassing stuff would stop happening to him already.

Seeing Indy was okay, Spike stopped and helped himself to a free toadstool cap. Seemingly the pixies were a liiiittle preoccupied in other activities. He pulled it off with a gentle twist, and was promptly rewarded by a tug of his hair.

"Ouch!" he exclaimed, pursing his lips and trying to look upwards. Silly creature on his head. Spike was giving him a free lift around the greenhouses, and all the pixie could do was pull on his hair. "Watch it, matey," he told seriously. "I'll swat you if you keep playing at that game." And he meant it. Yes he did.

Now to get his next toadstool cap. He glanced round the room, spying one that was free. There didn't seem to be any 'easy' option. Meh. He did spy Indy and another ickle-un struggling a bit though. He pulled out his wand.

"Immobulus!" he cried. "Immobulus!" Nothing happened. Fine. He change tactic. "Stupefy! Stupefy! Stu-"

Wandwork reeeeally wasn't his thing.

"That's. My. Sister." His eyes narrowed on the pesky pixie. "You don't mess with my sister." And with that, he gave up on the wand, pocketed it, and grabbed the pixie with both hands.

"Heh, you're not so clever now, are you?"

Harvey went to collect a third cap, when about 5 pixies came to him on a revenge spree. He fought off 1 with a stunning spell an grabbed one that had grabbed his nose and threw it. But more came and he was overcome, so he decided to ask for help. "Ex..ex..excuse me a l..l..little help, p..p..please!!!"

"Pixies don't like us at all." Louisa scoffed as the girl introduced herself and... did she just bow? "Hey Harlow. I'm Louisa." She smiled at both of the younger girls.

Watching Harlow getting her cap Louisa went to another creature and followed the steps again getting the cap off...

..or not. Instead of getting only the cap, the whole plant was yanked from the ground. Louisa threw it away quickly, in case it was a biting type or something, "What the-" She'd yelled before swallowing and trying to return her oh-so-careless attitude. Eying the loose creature Louisa was sure that it wasn't a very good idea to stand and stare at it in case a pixie came and-

..her assumption was right. A pixie flew down to the loose plant and froze near the fallen plant. Louisa wanted to roll eyes at the stupid pixie who was either mourning her beloved plant or considering eating it.

Or worse - attacking Louisa. The Ravenclaw started backing away and pointing her wand at the pixie, "Immobulus! Immobulus! Immob-" And the pixie froze in place. Phew. That was close.

Wait, what?! There were going to be PIXIES in and among the peppermint caps?!

Tori gulped a little, for she had never intentionally stunned anyone or anything, and made certain her wand was in her hand and her gloves were up to her elbows before approaching these mushrooms.

She warily side-stepped toward the first toadstool, waiting for a pixie or two to come at her. When none did (at first, anyway), the girl bravely pounced on her toadstool and twisted off its cap.

"Aha!" the ginger proclaimed, happily showing off her toadstool cap, "I GOTCHA!"

It was then that the pixies decided to attack, with one flying straight for Tori's face and another two attacking the wrist of the hand holding the toadstool cap.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Violet looked at her cap. It didn't seem harmful at all, but seeing all her classmates struggle with it, it was making her nervous. She gently put her hands on the cap and pulled...

Immediately, pixies flew everywhere around her, tugging her hair, pulling her clothes, and poking at her eyes. "Help!", she cried, as she let go of the cap and taking her wand out, flails it around to get the pixies away, "I don't know how to do a stunning spell yet!"

Angelina looked around at the classroom full of pixies! Her eyes got wide for a moment, and she froze and didn't know exatly what she should do. Other students were thowing spells, and just try to grabe them. Angleina first try to old simple way to try to catch them, which didn't work. She sent five minutes trying to catch one that was flying everywhere around her. Angelina then got very frusarated and pulled out her wand and yelled, "Stupefy!" She hit the pixie straight on, and watch it for a moment frose in mid air. She then grabbed the pixie and ran to the toadstool, and then threw it into the box. Now she was ready for her second cap

Penny heard a young Raven boy ask for help, and she went over immediately...

Raising her wand at the pesky pixies, she shouted "Immobulus", and just like that they froze...

"There ya go...I'm Penny by the way", she finished with a smile.

Once Angelina was done with her first cap she saw a boy at the corner of her eye getting swormed by many pixies, and he was asking for help. She ran to him, and decided to help him. Angelina started to grab some of the pixies that were grabbing him, and threw them off. The ones coming near then she stupefied them and they froze. Once the boy was cleared up from all the pixies. Angelina decided to grab a stupefied one and use it as her second cap. She ran back to the toadstool and threw her second pixie into the box. She then sat out to find her third and final one.

Violet saw the girl named Penny as she helped a Ravenclaw boy stun the pixies.

"Help me!", she cried, as the pixies started to scratch at her face. "I don't know how to stun yet!"

"Thanks to the both of you, my name is Harvey, first year Ravenclaw
