This corridor is a simple, airy hallway with openings to allow in as much sunshine as possible and fresh air. It is an excellent transition from the school to the grounds as it exits out into the courtyard.

Ahh...
The start of the school term is always the best. Although, the feast went chaotic because of those house elves rebelling or whatever it is they really did. The did clean up on the later portion though. What was the name of the elf that approached the Slytherins??? Nimii, was it??? Jonathan can't remember but it did sounded like that.
Jonathan paced around and reached this corridor. When classes will start this place will be packed by students but for now it's like a ghost town. He sat down on one of the benches.
Jonathan didn't want to go to the common rooms yet, he missed Hogwarts and just by sitting down and just staring blankly into space--- it felt simply comfortable and peaceful.
The grounds of Hogwarts were vaster than Eris could possibly imagine. The forest was forbidden, but the little dare devil contained herself well enough not to chance getting into trouble on the first day of the first year. She still had a while before they were to go back to the common rooms, but she was done with her business and was making her way back when she noticed how pretty the sky looked from the courtyard.
Not that the girl was distracted easily, of course. It was just that her first day had set her on a sort of high, high on life if you could put it as such. based on this, everything around her looked purely brilliant and she couldn't help but stop herself to appreciate it.
Enya was apparently too busy to talk with Louisa at the feast so the fourth year sent her friend a note to meet her at this place. It was after a couple of days of the feast and Louisa hadn't talked to Enya properly in ages! She had lots to tell her best friend. Questions to ask and stories to tell. Enya didn't know about the 'he' at all and that was a complete shame since Louisa needed Enya's devilish mind to help her.
...on second thoughts Louisa might just keep Enya away from the 'he' since the older girl might actually hurt the guy and Louisa didn't bare the thought. Even if she was mad at him, he was still 'the one'.

Letters asking to meet secretly and alone was childish but still she decided to humor her friend and made the boring trip down to the corridor to the courtyard. She was a few meters away when she saw her friend just leaning there against the wall waiting for her. Wait had she kept her waiting? Shame. It may sound weird to her but she'd actually missed her best friend over the summer and felt they really needed to catch up.
She could tell her about the meeting with that really hot guy she'd had. What was his name? James? Anyway he was hot and there had been flirting. Oh yeah. But Enya decided they maybe she'd keep that to herself for a bit before spilling.
Stopping in front of her best friend she said; "You wanted to talk?"

Minus the drama of course, Louisa didn't want to talk in details about the horrible summer. "How was your summer? I didn't get to talk to you at the feast, either." Enya should be a big girl now who has OWLs and wouldn't snap at Louisa...right?
Nah. She was probably still Enya but whatever, Louisa could handle one girl.
"You know, I've been feeling really awful during the summer." Louisa's voice tone was lowered and her face lost the meeting-friends beam, "I tried to find you at the Carnival but you weren't there." She wanted to know why! best friends were supposed to listen to each other's problems and help to fix it, no?

Feeling much better after her conversation with Professor Magnus, Kurumi felt that it was about time that she headed outside for a breath of fresh air. Besides, being outdoors and smelling all the smells of Hogwarts always inspired her with a new cookie idea - not that she was planning on making a cookie called essence of Hogwarts or anything. It was more of the feeling she got walking around and then thinking up ingredients to match that.
With a skip in her step, and Walnut trailing close behind, Kurumi walked down the corridor and felt the crisp September sunshine bathe her face.

Raven suddenly ran to reach the dungeons. How can she left her wand at her girls dorm? But accidentally Raven hit the older student who was walking around, she fell down.
"I'm sorry. Are you okay?" asked her. She helped her to get up. She noticed that she was Gryfffindor's prefect. Holy Merlin!

Kurumi had taken just that moment to lean against one of the stone archways to look up at the sky. She always loved fall at Hogwarts and despite her being 14-years-old now, one of her favorite pastimes was running around the Whomping Willow and trying to catch as many of its falling leaves as possible.
Lost in thought, Kurumi failed to notice the bullet that was shooting down the corridor until it was too late. Kurumi toppled forward until her legs were kicking up in the and her face was hanging over the edge.
"EEEEEEEEEEEK!"
She was able to regain her balance and looked at who it was that had bumped into her. She noticed the green on the girl's robes, but didn't pass any judgement, not just yet.
"I-I-I'm fine," Kurumi squeaked. "Just a bit startled that's all. You?"

"Okay, I'm fine too. Once again, sorry. I just left my wand at my bed and I wanted to take it back." She took her glasses off, Just a little cracked she tought.

Kurumi gasped. "You left your wand?!" Oh it was a good thing Headmaster Tate hadn't heard this. Hadn't he gone into a slight rant during her first year about wands and how they should be an extension of yourself? At least, she had a memory of something like that being said to her.

"Y.. yes. I think I.. left it on my bed." answered her. She was afraid the girl would tell it to Lafay or take some points from Slytherin. Merlin's beard! I am in TROUBLE now!

Kurumi shook her head and laughed. "I suppose it is better you did so now than for a class," she teased softly. Or with the wrong professor. She had no idea what the new Charms professor or Dragon Lady would do if this little first year showed up without their wand. Kurumi leaned in a bit. "You know how they say the wand chooses the wizard? You are disrespecting its decision by leaving it behind." The message was stern, but hopefully she had said it in such a way that didn't frighten her.

"Yeah, I know that." answered Raven. She knew she just did something wrong because of her carelessness. "I promise I won't leave it again."
Hey, the girl was a prefect, right? Maybe she would take off points from Slytherin.

"Don't take points of Slytherin." *ups
"You shouldn't apologize to me, you should apologize to your wand," Kurumi nodded. She couldn't help but feel that the girl in front of her was really nervous. Was Kurumi's face too serious looking? She hadn't meant to look too stern. Kurumi looked down at her robes and was reminded that she had THAT on her robes. Her prefect badge.
"I am not going to take away points because you left your wand in the dorms," she said with a slight giggle, shaking her head. Now, if the little she-snake had hidden someone's wand, that was a different story.

Raven felt relieved Thanks Merlin!
"Bye the way, thank you for that, you just taught me about responsibility. And also nice to meet you, Miss...." Oh, she didn't know what the prefect name was.

"A good lesson to be learned," Kurumi giggled as she brushed a strand of her black hair behind her ear. Kurumi had been too desperate for her first wand, her first connection with magic, to even imagine herself leaving it behind. "No Miss needed, just call me Kurumi," she smiled. "And...may I ask your name?"

"Oh, Raven Charlotte. You can call me Raven." answered her, she shook Kurumi's hand.
"Hey, I need immediately go to my dorm! I forget I want to take my wand. See you, Kurumi." then Raven left Kurumi. She waved her hand and smiled to her from the distance.
Seeing Enya approach Louisa's face lit and she gave her friend a brief forced hug before nodding. "Yes! Enya we haven't talked since forever! There's a lot I want to hear from you and to tell you." Minus the drama of course, Louisa didn't want to talk in details about the horrible summer. "How was your summer? I didn't get to talk to you at the feast, either." Enya should be a big girl now who has OWLs and wouldn't snap at Louisa...right?
Nah. She was probably still Enya but whatever, Louisa could handle one girl.

She wanted to know why! best friends were supposed to listen to each other's problems and help to fix it, no?
Enya leaned against he wall next to her best friend, she folded her arms in stared straight ahead. She wore the same I-don't-want-to-be-here expression but secretly she didn't mind. She wouldn't admit it but ever since she'd befriended Louisa she felt she was changing, getting nicer but she still had her moments. She turned to look at the younger girl. "Okay," She nodded, "Shot, what's up?" But then was asking about her summer, um. She shrugged, "You know the usual. Just spent most of it drawing really" For those who knew her like Louisa did would know she was really into drawing.
But maybe she had to give all that up this year for exams?
Feeling awful? That didn't sound good. She raised her eyebrows at the sentence but didn't say anything, she instead turned away. Ha, Enya Mayberry going to the carnival and acting like a child. No way. "I didn't go, I hate carnival's" Truth.
"But how was your summer?" She turned to look at her best friend once more.

Okay, firstly Enya hadn't snapped at her, that was something to celebrate for! Maybe at night in the dorms? Yep. Nodding her head Louisa elaborated, "I figured you'd spend most of your time drawing." She refrained from asking about any parent, though. Four years of knowing Enya and Louisa knew better than to bring the subject.
"Mine was a mess." She sighed and started pacing up and down. "I had this..boy that I really really like-" see the present tense? That was intended. "-and I was crazy enough to try and talk to him about it." She stopped pacing and looked at Enya through hurt eyes, "He has a girlfriend and seventeen years old, so yeah, he found unbelievable." She swallowed the tears and shook her head a bit, "Not the good kind of unbelievable." Rather the insulting kind.
Coming closer to her friend Louisa continued in a different and stronger voice tone, "But I'm getting over it," lie. "I mean, I did meet someone who's.. attractive and seems nice enough. I thought that, maybe that'd help. What do you think?" Enya was a girl and about her age so she knew what to say, right? The people that talked to Louisa about it were only old people or boys - so yeah, Enya was the first logical one to know what to say or to know how it felt at least.

Enya wanted to smile at Louisa's first sentence but she stopped herself. Yeah she was so predictable that really her best friend didn't need to even ask what she'd been doing in the holidays. "I walked around the countryside a few times" Well everyday but she knew Louisa would wonder how as she lived in London and no way near the countryside. Or she could wonder what a girl like Enya Mayberry be doing wondering the countryside admiring all the landscapes. So not her.
A mess? Oh dear this wasn't going to be good and she wasn't going to enjoy listening to it. Enya moved her head to watch her friend move from the wall and pace a little. She said nothing as she talked, taking it all in which is new for her. Say a few years back she'd have walked away by now but she'd learned to have respect for her best friend. When she stopped talking she said nothing for a moment, anger welling up in her but she contained it, she knew if she showed anything against this guy Louisa was clamp down and tell her nothing.
"What's this guys name?" She asked surprised to hear her voice was calm. She'd have a few talks with this guy yes she would. No one shot down her best friend and got away with it. The old Enya Mayberry was going to come back for this particular meeting.

The countryside? Like, for real? Louisa raised her eyebrows slightly, surprised by that. Didn't Enya live in a fancy house somewhere in London? She must have. "Umm.. where is that countryside? Did you go abroad on a vacation?" Like Paris perhaps? Enya did mention going to France last Easter holiday so maybe that was the same trip?
Another surprise for Louisa. Why did Enya need the guy's name? Firstly Louisa had sworn not to say his name until this stinging feeling in her chest go away - and considering the itchy sensation she was having pondering this, it was far fetched. Secondly Enya never asked for anyone's name before, never ever. Even their classmates Louisa had to repeat the names deliberately in front of her best friend to make sure Enya doesn't mix them up - the girl didn't care enough to ask for names. Lastly it could never mean something good.
...but Enya was completely calm and balanced. Maybe because she was fifteen now? A big girl with same interests as Louisa? "Dallin." BAM! Her voice did break a bit at the end of the word but she'd said it. After being so stubborn and insistent on not uttering the letter she actually did it - her heart was still beating and her eyes weren't that wet. Yet, it brought a stream of good bitter memories of them both having fun and being friends. Louisa tried to shut that down waiting for Enya's next words.
Let's just hope that Louisa does turn into someone who needs to protect 'him' from Enya, instead of being the one pulling pranks on him.
The night had exhausted him. Well, Arya had exhausted him, because he didn't know just how awful her summer had been. What was even worse was the fact that she never told him anything during that time, when she should have because he'd travel a thousand miles to be there for her.
But, at least she told him yesterday. And now Treyen just needed some...alone time, right? That's why he was sitting on one of the window openings with his eyes to the Courtyard.
He didn't want to go out, nor did he want to stay inside. Weirdness. And he was missing someone, someone that had something to tell him BUT he didn't seem to have much time for her yesterday evening.

Ellie definitely wasn't one of those people who needed an excuse to be outside. On the contrary, she needed an excuse to be inside. Even if, like now, she had no plans to do anything, being out of the castle was so much better than being in it. Especially when that woman that Ellie had recently decided to dislike was inside. Needless to say, Little Professor would be getting a letter. Not that Ellie expected him to do anything, but she thought he might like to know. Know that he was sorely missed.
But on her way out, she saw something - or rather, someone - that took her mind off of all that nonsense. Best of all, he was alone.
Grin.
"Hey there," she said walking up to the Prefect.

Treyen didn't even have to look to know who the one that spoke was. The sound of her voice was enough to bring a smile to his face, and a bigger one since he was the one she'd talked to. "Hi," he said, looking her way and his whole face lighting up at the sight of his favorite Ravenclaw.
What was she doing inside the Castle, anyway? Weren't all Quidditch Captains supposed to be out holding tryouts or something? Oh, right, of course, this was only day one of the school year.
"Would you join me?" his hand was stretched towards her, in case she decided to sit next to him on that opening. There was still plenty of room. Four people could sit there, right? Maybe three, not four. But right now, two was more than enough.
