Isabelle sat down at the beautiful Slytherin table all decked out in green and silver. Oh she was so glad to be here at last. Finally! After this extremely long summer that she had been through she was actually looking forward to school. Isabelle sat down and grabbed a piece of chicken. Oh delicious.

"The pleasure is mine," Melania replied smiling. "I love your name! Raven! Nice ring to it!"

Selena tried to steady the scuttling puffball on her head, but the purple ball appeared to want to settle down somewhere else. Selena sighed, and frowned. "Yeah, that must be what they're thinking... I should send them some chocolates, but they might think they're poisoned," she said as she plucked the fluff ball from her head and glared at it. "Or maybe they're just tired because they're making so much food, and cake, and chocolatey stuff," Selena exclaimed, a grin coming across her face and she placed Kent back on her head.

And just as he said that the pygmy puff was going to fall, Kent did, and right onto the dirty plate. "Bad Kent, stay on my head," she sighed. "He's going to learn to stay on my head, he did it before, Kent is also offended because you thought he was a possible she," Selena announced. The purple pygmy puff squirmed a bit and Selena placed it back on the top of her head, where he belonged. "Now stay there," she told the puffball.

She looked back at the boy, and once the pygmy puff seemed to stay on her head she stuck out a hand. "I'm Selena, I'm awesome and I'm going to rule the universe, as well as time, space and all parallel universes," Selena said, introducing herself with a smile.

Hehe. Kent stayed on her head.

She stared at the girl when she called herself a princess. Harlow had met most of Europe's royal families and she was sure that this girl wasn't one. "Pleased to meet you Tori," Harlow said. If she wanted to call herself a princess she was free to do that. That didn't mean Harlow had to call her that. She gave Tori a firm handshake and a smile when she accepted her spare silverware. "Well you never know when you will need a clean set." she explained. She didn't want to get into how Harlow hated dirt and grim. She really hated it. "And its self cleaning. My dad helped me with the charm," she announced proudly.

Her jaw dropped at Tori's declaration. Hogwarts was going broke?! How on earth did that happen. "They are on strike?" she asked. Wondering how house elves went on strike. "They should ask my grandmother for money. She has enough." Harlow said. Whether she was going to share was a different story.

Harlow beamed at the boy totally happy that he returned her smile and her greeting. Well her housemates were turning out to be really nice after all. "I'm fine thanks." she answered. "My name is Harlow Riddle by the way." she stuck her hand out for the boy to shake.

Lana started to laugh hysterically. She had a feeling she was going to love this year with Sarah. She never had close friends because of her brothers, but she didn't want to think about that now. She felt happy to be able to just let go, laugh, and smile. She looked back towards the front.

"How many more first years do you think need to get sorted? I wanna eat! she said laughing and lightly pounding her fists on the table.

Chelsea sat down next to Raven "Chelsea Charm, nice to meet you Raven!" she smiled. "I'm so excited this will be a great school year! What do you think?" she asked.

"Inspecting things?" India blurted out as the little australian newly-dubbed Ravenclaw walked over to her new found stranger. Yes, since she was going to plan on becoming his friend - or enemy depending on how things went. Glancing at the silverware she couldn't help but find herself begin to crinkle her nose in distate.

Horrid it was absolutely horrid what state these untensils were in. She felt like marching down to the kitchens wherever they were and having a stearn talking to whoever was in charge of cleaning them. Goodness did they not even know that toothpaste worked? Right. She had no idea who or what was in charge of house keeping...but if something suddenly went into her room and sorted out her knickers she'd probably flip out or cry something about her things being moved...by some creep.

Creeps afterall aren't good.

"Thats disgusting." She pointed down to a fork that had obvious food stuck on it - what had they done forgotten to scurgify? She thought chuckling. "I'm India Johanson - but call me Dia" she sat down at the table that was not her own house table across from a so-far complete stranger and stuck out her hand so they could shake hands. Yes she was Miss IN YOUR FACE manners. Polite - but forceful. Too forcefull.

"Nice to meet you, Sarah Olive." Faina smiled. "You can call me Fai if you like."

Destiny was going to do it? She was going to do it!

Even while she was grimacing and thought this was totally wrong, Evelyn may have...leaned a bit closer...to get a better look. Yes, this was gross, but it was just one of those things that the interest out weighed the unsanitary factor.

Do it! Do it! DOITDOITDOITDOIT...Seriously?

Sighing quietly, she looked in the pockets of her robes for a galleon, eying Destiny every now and then, but the only things she found were the taffy that the Gryffindork gave her, and her wand which was surprisingly not in her wrist holster. "I don't have one with me. All my money is in my luggage."

He listened to the girl talking about sugar and more sugar. She really liked sugar, huh? He wondered if she has got some candy from the food trolley. "Why would they think they are poisoned?" he asked. Did the house elves were dead?. More and more sugaaar! Merlin, this girl was seriously addicted to candy "You really don't like sugar, right? It seems you hate it " he teased and smiled. Sarcasm.

And yes, like he said it the furry annoying thing fell down. "Well, it is round and is constantly moving so I guess it would keep falling" he shrugged. Oh...so it was a he. "I apologize then" he slightly bowed "Would your pygmy puff forgive me?" he said dramatically. Hehe. He watched as the girl placed again her furry ball on top of her head "I bet it is gonna fall ...again" he said "I bet a chocolate bar" he wondered how she was gonna react after this.

Oh yes. Right. He has forgotten to introduce himself and he was about to do it when she said something very random. Rule the universe? Parallel universes? Whaat? He had his mouth slightly open to say his name but then close it and stared at Selena....the new ruler of the world. He laughed "Alright, if you say it" he shrugged "I'm Nikolas....just Nikolas" oh but she has said she was awesome? HE was AWESOME. Period. "Whoaa...I'm awesome" he said. Were they going to compete against who was more awesome? If it was needed then yes.

She was finally back at Hogwarts. When she walked into the Great Hall with all the returning students, a great joy grew in her chest. It felt good to be back at what she felt like home. She walked through the doors of the Great Hall and followed all of the other Slytherins to their table. She found a spot where no one was at and took a seat. The Sorting Hat Ceremony was about to start and she wanted to see what house Violet would be placed in. She clapped for all the new students when they were sorted, but was growing quite hungry. Guess I shoulda eaten something while on the way here she thought. I hope the ceremony doesn't take too long, though I did see quite a number of new first years.

Looking from the tarnished silverware to an extended hand that was practically in his face, Matt really wasn't sure what was going on but at least it was much better than being randomly yelled at by people who hadn't known him. "Hmm, yes I am. I haven't seen the table this way before, I'm not willing to just assume that something really bad went on but from the mere sight of it.. that's what seems to have happened." He finally raised his blue eyes long enough to look at who was talking to him and noticed a girl that he had never met before. Another girl really? Man, where are the other boys around here? As she spoke, he picked up on an accent that he hadn't heard before since he was used to either talking to people who were originally from some place in England or his friends back in California but this actually was going to be even better since not only was she knew, she was from a place that he hadn't been to before.

"Nice to meet you Dia, I'm Matthew Stevenson but please call me Matt and I am a 6th year Slytherin." He finally managed to get through an introduction without mentioning that he didn't much care for the whole formal thing with his name which was rather a surprise since it usually was something that he had ended up saying, taking her hand in his and shaking it; Matt knew that he had to ask where Dia was from since it was going to bother him otherwise and right now that was the last thing that he wanted to deal with.

Sierra looked away and drew in a few deep breaths as she tried her hardest not to let this girl get the best of her. This girl, whose name she still did not know, had no idea what Sierra had been through in the past week alone. She'd eaten..maybe...three good meals, and even then, it'd only been a sandwich or something similar.

The hand to her chin just made things that much worse. "Fine," Sierra spat, and then she spit the gum out into the girl's hand. The thing was, she made sure a mouthful of spit came with it. "It was losing its sugar anyway..." She wanted to ask the girl to just lay off her, to leave her to be and let her enjoy being in a permanent home for the first time in nights. It would explain the candy stealing, but it would also make her appear weak, and that she'd never do.

"Just leave me alone," she finally said, wanting to put the confrontation past her and just enjoy being somewhere she could call 'home'. She said nothing else until after the girl had chimed in about the house elves, spreading what Sierra guessed to be her own version of the rumor. Hmm. Maybe this girl wasn't so bad after all. Though she wasn't on the best of terms with Candy Mountain Girl, she turned to her with a smirk and added, "Some are on strike, yes, but some are dead. I hear we'll have to eat cold cereal for nearly every meal this entire school year..."

orchid at down nervously across from a girl that she'd never met before, but then again she had never met anyone before being a new girl and all. "Hi, I'm Orchid." She said with a smile.

"Indeed," Tori agreed, turning her head to the cutie newcomer to the table. "I say we harness the Hufflepuffs and make them serve us. I mean, SOMEBODY has to cook and clean this place!" It was a castle, for Merlin's beard! Princesses knew ALL ABOUT castles!

"Same," Tori agreed pleasantly enough. She shook her hand back and then held up Harlow's shiny silverware. It sure did look real. Caught the light just right, it did. "Very nice, very nice."

"Who's your grandmother?" the ginger voiced. "Perhaps she WILL need to make a large donation to the school. I heard they couldn't even afford REAL teachers this term. I mean, just look at the staff table!"

It was practically empty!

Oh MY GAWD.

The girl just SPAT into Tori's hand! She didn't even BOTHER to try to delicately spit out her gum; no, she gave Tori a full-on SPITWAD of DISGUSTINGNESS.

"You. Are . Pathetic. I will be happy to leave you alone," Tori declared, pulling her hand back and then turning it upside down over the girl's head, "but first, you need to learn your lesson. STEALING IS WRONG."

The wad of wet, slimy, spitty gum slid right off Tori's hand and landed in the center of Sierra's head with a soft PLOP. She wrinkled her nose and started wiping her hand off on one of the nearby cloth napkins. Ugh. AT least those were sort of clean.

She eyed the girl still spreading rumors and chipped in, "And we'll have no heat in our fireplaces, and no sheets on our beds.... like I said, let's harness those Hufflepuffs. They're hardworking, right?"

When Matt spoke it became immediately obvious that he wasn't from England - the softer sounding accent was almost a relief. He was from somewhere other than London as well which was kind of nice to think about.

"Its nice to meet you - do you mind if I call you Matt? Far simpler and all" she smiled softly as they shook hands. "Well - if something has gone wrong here we could always after the feast head to the kitchens because for one i've got no idea where those might be...but we atleast would be able to find out if something did go wrong." She smiled. Yeah finding if something went wrong sounded fun.

"I was always told back in Sydney Dia if you were a chap you'd be a larrikin' its partly why I was sent here...parents thought i'd shape up and stop being mischievous - i never really pulled pranks...just tried to solve the great school mystery...of it ruddy disappearing." Well it disappeared because those who got expelled no longer were able to find it...so when that happened the nice odl school became no more. Brill just brill.

"Oh right - um, sorry about the rant there...um, I'm a Sixth year as well, Ravenclaw though...so random question - why are there more girls here than guys? Its ridiculous - to get a decent relationship here, you'd be better off inventing Johnny from home than having a legit guy here." She chuckled. It was like a four-to-one ratio or even higher of girls to guys. Would be so much like a shark tank at feeding time when dances rolled by.

Destiny slooowly raised an eyebrow.

Now, any other time, she probably wouldn't have believed that the other person's money was in their luggage. But this was Evelyn. Her best friend. A student of authority! She couldn't lie. And even if she was, they had to share the same dorm, she could go into her luggage and find the money herself.

Eying up the taffy that her friend pulled out of her pocket for a moment, Destiny gave her shoulders a shrug before holding the spoon back up to her mouth. "Well, as long as you're going to give it to me." She gave Evelyn a look. A look that clearly said 'you will give it to me whether I die or not'.

And it was time!

Taking a deep breath, imagining whatever that dirty stuff on the spoon was chocolate, she once again began sticking out her tongue. Closer, closer, closer, never taking her eyes off Evelyn.

LICK!

Shuddering as her tongue came in contact with the spoon, Destiny pulled away and flung the spoon onto the table, a look of DISGUST on her face. Yuck. Yuck! YUCK!

"I have GRIME disease! GRIIIIIME DIIIIIISEAAAAAASE!" She needed a drink!

But the goblets were dirty!

Sitting down on the table, he glanced around the hall and everyone but him was talking with someone. Bleh. And that was not the worse part! besides the loneliness and dirty silverware WHERE WAS THE FOOD? He seriously didn't mind to eat with his hands because he was starving. He has ate in the train but candy could not satisfy what he required. He needed meat, desserts, real food! He tapped his finger on the table impatiently and he had his head rested on the back of his hand.

There was going to be a speech, right? Well, better be quick because he was getting angry. Hungriness always comes with bad mood.

"Thanks ." she gave her big smile to Lana.

"Maybe my mom wanted me belong to Ravenclaw but I'm not as clever as her." she said.

"Because my mom was the only Ravenclaw in my family."

"Pretty enthusiast!" said Raven. "I've been waiting since my brother went to Hogwarts 8 years ago. It means.. since I was 3 "

"I think we will have wonderful time in school, my brother said not to waste our precious time here, Because it never happened twice. What things that you have been waiting for most?"

Jade walked into the Great Hall, with a strut showing that she was going to rule this place once, but for now she was just going to show off. She was walking over to the Gryffindor table but when she passed the Slytherin table something caught her eye. Something familiar. She took a couple steps back and looked over to see a lonely Nikolas. A big smirk appeared on her face and she over to him, her head held high. "Don't tell me that Mr. Nikolas Agger is all alone." She teased, taking a seat next to him.

Harlow nodded, "Goblin silver from 1296." she said proudly. It had been part of her birthday presents from her uncle. "Oh she's the Minister of Magic in Ghana, but our family could make a large donation." They had the money to keep Hogwarts running till the armor rusted. She was sure if she told her dad about the nasty silverware he would transfer the money in the morning. A Riddle just didn't live like this.

She glanced at the Staff table and took in some of the simple robes of the teachers. Well, they were teachers weren't they. Were they supposed to be in Chanel robes with Jimmy Choo stilettos to teach? "Maybe they like to dress like that," she offered never wanting to say anything bad about someone.

Oh.My.Gawd!! That girl just spit in Tori's hand!!!

Harlow's head swam with disgust. That was so horrid Harlow was speechless while she rummaged in her bag for her spray bottle of GERMS BEGONE. "I've got some sanitizer and handkerchiefs," she told her finally pulling the items out of her bag and handing them over. "That was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen," she whispered. She didn't want to embarrass Tori by shouting.

Faina tapped a girl on her shoulder. "I'm Faina, first year. May I join you?"

For what was quite possibly the very first time in her life, Sierra Greingoth didn't snap back. She just sat there, staring at the wall and thinking hard about how life in general seemed to despise her lately. "I'm not pathetic," he half-heartedly said. ...and then she gasped as she felt the spit from her own mouth ooze down onto her head. "Lola Jones!!!!!" Sierra yelled out. "Lola, get down here this instant and bring your wand!"

Sierra couldn't see he spit, but she knew it was there. Oh, Merlin. Was the gum there, too?! "Lola?" she called again. "Get. It. Out." She gestured frantically toward the top of her head. She glared at the girl, and then...

...she reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of Drooble's Best Blowing Gum. Then she threw the gum toward the girl. A second piece followed. Then a third, fourth, and finally fifth. "Take your stupid gum back, you selfish hag!" Then she drew in a deep breath and added to their ever-growing lie about the house elves. "...and there'll be dust plaguing our floors, couches, and curtains." She smirked and added, "I hear they're good laborers. Maybe even better than the elves."

Food please hurry! He was tired also,but what was wrong with him? He should be happy that he was in Hogwarts and there was not annoying sis around and no pygmy puffs. But since there was no food, there was no happiness. Simple.
He sighed and then heard a familiar voice...Jade. He turned around to face her "No, I'm waiting for my imaginary friends" he replied. He was not ready to tease her back, and even though he ate candy of the food trolley and that should have make him go hyper it didn't worked out.

"And what about you?" he asked "You saw me lonely and couldn't resist to sit down with me?" he winked. Well, maybe he had some energy to tease her a bit.

A blank expression appeared on his face as Dia went off on her own little rant, Matt wasn't quite sure what she was on about but he was sort of used to listening to strange rants since he did have to listen to Raven talking practically the entire summer but it was different this time around. "Actually I prefer to be called Matt, whenever I hear someone use my full first name.. I automatically think that I'm about to be in trouble for something which usually is the case." And there we go, of course that comment would need to be said although it didn't seem like he had a brain filter anymore since usually that would have been replaced with a comment that didn't seem like it was one of those recorded messages played back hundreds of times. Just don't start talking about things like Raven, seriously not everyone needs to know about her even if they already do somehow.

Ah so she did finally answer one of the questions that he was about to ask, well that just meant that he needed to find a new question to ask that wasn't about to sound completely stupid. "Your school disappeared? And there's plenty of pranksters around the hallowed halls of this school, I would know after spending the previous two terms here. The math, if you're wondering.. is not incorrect, I transferred to Hogwarts from Rygal Academy in Los Angeles back in my fourth year merely because well.. that I can't tell you." It wasn't so much that he couldn't tell Dia the whole story, it was more like that he didn't want anyone else knowing the truth to why he requested a transfer in the first place.

"That's actually something that I've been trying to figure out myself, I would say that it's some kind of conspiracy that the girls have taken over the school but alas even that idea seems rather foolish to me now. I have absolutely no problem having girls as friends, I would just rather talk to some other guys so things would seem a bit more normal." Of course the conspiracy idea would have to come up, it wasn't like he cared if people thought that was crazy for thinking that way since in all actuality; it could have been the truth.
