Angelina walked into the Slytherin common room to find it surprisatly empty. So she walked around the common room and looked at everything. After a while she looked around the whole room, and decided to just hang out around the common room and she sat down on one of the couches.

Elina saw a girl sit down on a couch and decided to go and talk to her. "Hey!" exclaimed Elina, "I'm Elina McDonnaldson, What's your name?"

Aurora walked into the common room, a little frown on her face. She had a tune in her head that she needed to write down and play through and had to get to parchment and a quill as soon as possible. When she got half way across the common room she gave up and produced her wand, summoning them to her. Sitting in one of the sofas by the fire she began to scribble furiously, humming ever-so-slightly to herself.

Mordred walked inside the Common Room after the feast while clutching a copy of the Daily Prophet. Obviously, he wasn’t too happy with the news. It could mean that Hogwarts is going downhill. But then again, the new professors need a chance to prove themselves. The boy let out a sigh as he sat on the black sofa. “I guess it’s better to have them than Borr.” he lowered himself further in the sofa and stared at the green fire before him.

Raven just entered the common room. I think Geraldine and Desiree are here too. thought her. She just saw two girls sat on a coach. Then she went to her and have some intoduction

"Hi! I'm Raven Charlotte, first year. Welcome to Slytherin!"

A bag full of chocolate frogs in her hand, she might have made a stop at one of her chocolate hiding spots, and Gryffindor Quidditch Captain's badge still pinned to the front of her robes, Destiny made her way through the door leading to the Common Room. She hadn't been able to find Carter before she left the Great Hall, but that was fine with her. He probably would have made her give him the badge back, and that was something she was not ready to do. She was going to keep it forever!

Except when he had games to play. She'd give it back to him then.

Not worrying if Evelyn was behind her or not, she'd see the girl eventually to get her galleon, even though she wanted it right then, Destiny made her way further into the room, only stopping to stare at all the people inside already. They were all so little.. and being the big seventh year that she is..

Raising her arms high above her head, she gave the bag of chocolate a little shake to get everyone's attention. "Hello, Slytherins!"

Now move off the sofa, she wanted to sit.

"Mordred! Come here I need you." Aurora beckoned Mordred over, clutching the parchment with the dots and lines all over it. To anyone who couldn't read music they just looked like nonsense, but to her they played out a fast little melody she had come up with watching the house elves. And who else did she know who could read music? Mordred!!!

Running her hands through her hair as she made her way down to the Slytherin common room, Evelyn sighed and looked up to the dungeon corridor ceiling, thinking of how stuffed she actually felt. She hadn't felt like this since first year.

Giving the password and making her way into the Slytherin common room, once she took a step inside, the sudden reminder that she was supposed to give Destiny a galleon hit her. Ugh, that was right. Later perhaps. The Slytherin girl just wanted to sit down and relax right now before sneaking up to the kitchens and making her daily tea.

However...

She couldn't sit. Why? Because all the small people were sitting. Someone was sitting in HER seat! "Destiny!" she squeaked, quickly moving to her friends side and pointing to HER seat. "Someone...someone is sitting..."

HER SEAT! Flabbergasted here!!

After another short stop at the toilet, Aiden makes her way through the dungeon corridor and finally into Slytherin common room. For some unknown reason, her stomach doesn't accept many food unlike usual. Did her mother put something in her scrambled egg before she boarded Hogwarts Express earlier today? Merlin, it's really uncomfortable! Do they've potion for this?

Aiden's mind is occupied with her determination to gain back the lost house points. She was one of Slytherin's high achiever last term, then it is not impossible to reclaim the rank. There aren't many students in the common room. Several firsties... Aurora... Mordred... And the seventh year Destiny Shephard who greeted them all. "Hello," she greets back calmly, making her way further into the common room.

Raven was very sleepy when she entered the slytherin common room. I wanna reach my bed soon! thought her. The common room was not too crowded, only some people spent their time to relax there.

My goodnes! I must write to Mom and Adler now! So tomorrow I can post it. then she sat at an empty coach, she took parchment, quill and an inkwell and started writing to her mom first



Dear mom, I hope you and Dad are fine enough. I am fine here. Oh yeah, guess which house I belong to? I am in slytherin, Mum! Maybe you are a little bit dissapointed because I don't belong to Ravenclaw just like you. The sorting hat said I am pretty ambitious so I belong to here.

I found so many friends here. I think I will have others from another house. Now I am so sleepy. I wanna reach my bed. I'll write another letter soon. Bye!

Well..

That was disappointing. Destiny thought everyone in the Common Room would have greeted her. She was holding a bag full of chocolate frogs for Merlin's sake! Who didn't like chocolate frogs? Besides Evelyn.. she didn't count.

She gave the bag a few more shakes in the direction of the students milling around before slowly lowering her arms and sticking her hand inside. If they didn't want chocolate, fine. There'd be more for her.

But, before she could even open the chocolate frog she had pulled out, someone, who's name she couldn't quite remember, had greeted her. Huzzah! "HI!! Again.. "Want a chocolate frog?"

And before she could even answer her, Destiny tossed her one over.

Her hand was heading back into the bag, to pull something out for herself, but when Evelyn arrived, she quickly hid the bag behind her back. Destiny wasn't sure just what a Head Girl was allowed to do, but she probably could get rid of all the chocolate if she wanted to..

Although, chocolate was the last thing on her mind once her friend moved closer to her, and her eyes followed her finger over to the sofas when she pointed. They must have all been first years sitting around, or else they would have known better.. "You're the Head Girl! Tell them to get up. And while you're at it, tell them to feed you grapes."

Because that would be hilarious!

Jonathan went back to the common room after the boring feast. The utensils problem became chaotic until some elves dropped by to clean them. What was that all about? What happened to those elves anyway?

After saying the password, Jonathan came in to see that most of the first years invaded the common room. He purse his lips as he went down to check if there were any available couches left. Clearly, his favorite spot was already taken but nonetheless, he can manage this one and find himself a new spot to sit.

Other faces were familiar though such as Aurora's, the girl she just spoke to earlier at the feast. Destiny who is sitting alongside Evelyn, the new head girl. And a second year girl... Jonathan did saw her once before but is not sure. WAIT! Did Destiny handed out chocolate frogs?????

One side of the couch seemed to be empty to be sat on. Jonathan quickly went to sit on it before you know, more first years would go and take it. He sat down comfortable and looked up. He needs to be stress free before classes start.

Geraldine made her way to the Slytherin common room. She was suprised to see several people in the room,it was empty minutes ago. She also noticed that most of the people there were about her age.

As she approached the middle of the room,she saw Raven and approached her, “Hi...again” Geraldine said,careful not to louden her voice,she doesnt want to get scolded by the headgirl who was pointing at a lower year who was sitting on her chair. Geraldine made a mental note not to sit in any of the common room's chairs,unless she was sure that no one owned it.

She was lost. She didn't know what to do. Where was she going to sit now?!

Ignoring the crinkling noises coming from her friend, Evelyn just stared at her taken seat, now slightly depressed and annoyed. This through off her entire routine after the opening feast. She usually sat in HER seat afterward. But Destiny did have a point. Yet it had it's ups and and downs. Mostly downs.

"But they're so..." Small. It creeped her out to the point where she somewhat cringed. She only talked to first years if they spoke to her, not the other way around. However, Destiny's second thought had Evelyn scoffing and finally tearing her gaze away from HER seat and to her friend. "I'm not eating something they touched."

Their hands were probably dirty. Besides, everyone knew strawberries were way better than grapes. "You go tell them to move." Nudge nudge.

When Raven was writing a letter, someone greeted her. Its Geraldine!

"Geraldine? Where have you been?" asked her. She made up her stationery

Kelsey walked in, full from the feast, and sat down. She wondered where michelle was. Oh well, she`ll probably find her later.

Snapping out of his reverie, Mordred blinked a couple of times and saw Aurora sitting near the other fireplace clutching a music sheet. He slowly stood up and made his way toward her and sat beside her. “New music?” he asked as he eyed the music sheet on her hand. Most probably, it was. He thought it was becoming a habit of Aurora to be in the common room composing music.

Aurora held up a finger, gesturing one second, hummed a little more, scribbled a couple more notes down, then nodded and handed the sheet to Mordred, "Help me play it through later?" There were only two lines of melody, a violin and a flute; Aurora's favourite arrangement. "Anyway, it's out of my head now." She grinned, "Otherwise I'd have been singing it in my sleep. Oh, and I plan to begin on my little experiment as soon as possible." she added in a whisper, looking around at all the first years. "I wonder if we'll have a test subject..." she chuckled, only joking a little bit.

But they're so.. what?

Destiny glanced at the group of Slytherins gathered on the sofas, trying to figure out what Evelyn was going to say. Maybe she was going to say comfortable. They all did look comfortable. Shrugging her shoulders, not really caring anymore, she began digging into the bag that was hidden behind her back for a chocolate frog.

Evelyn looked too.. something to probably even notice that she was going to begin eating in front of her. Hehe, yes, those people needed to stay on the sofas. "Tell them to wash their hands." Duh! "Or better yet, tell them to use a fork instead."

Destiny had a solution for everything. And the silverware was clean now.

Her eyes moved back to Evelyn when she began nudging her, and really, what had gotten into her? It was that badge.. it was making her weird. "Are you going to give me another galleon?" And that was just a reminder that she owed her one.

Mordred waited until Aurora handed her the music sheet. He looked at it and gave a nod. “Sure.” he said as he hummed it inside his head. He can already hear his flute playing the tune. “We can go to the Room of Requirements tomorrow, before any of the first years find it.” he said as he grinned and looked around him. There were a lot of firsties inside the common room that night. “Test subject? There’ll be loads of them wandering around the castle.” he added mischievously. “I too need to practice a certain spell off Julian’s book.” he said as he looked away and tapped his wand inside his sleeve.

“Oh, I just strolled the castle for a bit, I came in here a few minutes ago but no one was here” Geraldine said softly, almost a whisper, she was still conscious to upset the other higher years.

“I see that you're writing a letter, who are you going to mail it to?” Geraldine asked as she noticed that was Raven writing a letter a moment ago.

Geraldine covered her mouth as she slightly yawned, it was obvious that she was already tired.

Washed their hands or not, they would be dirty forever. It came with the 'young' territory. Young people's hands were always dirty.

Yes, Evelyn had an excuse for everything.

"No." she said simply, eying the girl in her seat. Didn't she know her from somewhere? In the back of her mind, something kept telling her that she already didn't like the girl. Blinking, the word 'galleon' reached her ears, causing her eyebrows to raise in a skeptical look. Seriously? "You would make even your best friend pay for services?"

Gasp! Would cost less just to do this herself...

Which she did.

Huffing quietly, Evelyn moved past Destiny and towards HER seat.

The one she sat in every term and declared hers.

Sure her name wasn't written in it, but she sat there. People knew she sat there, didn't they? Didn't they!?!? Apparently not because red-head here was sitting in it, talking to that other young person.

"You." Yes, you. Point. "Move."

Her seat!

"Yeah, I wrote for my mom and my brother, maybe I'll ask Bubo to send it tomorrow morning." said her while she cleaned up her parchment, quills and inkwell and put them on her bag. She yawned at the time and saw Geraldine was very tired and sleepy.


"Lets go to dorm. I saw you seemed very tired."

Geraldine seeing that Raven was also as tired as her, Geraldine agreed to go to the girl's dorm, “Yeah,I am tired, let's go to the dorm”

Geraldine was a bit relieved to leave the common room...she was really tired and badly wanted to lie down on her bed
