Mitch walked into the fifth years dormitory, wondering who would his classmates be and how they would accept him. Many things and personal objects were on the walls already and he chose the empty new bed that had been placed there for him. He loaded his stuff onto his bed and starting unpacking his trunk.

The bed that Corentin had claimed was very obviously his, and the muggle influence was clear in the posters stuck on the portion of wall at the head of his bed, footballers and skateboarders, a few photographs of Corey with friends, none of the pictures moving. His class schedule was also stuck on the wall, with additions added in different coloured marker indicating when certain sporting events were due to take place. The plan was to tune in with a wireless, and at least keep track of the score and things.

Aside from trunk space, the floor between the wall and his bed was covered in his things too; skateboard, football, shoes, discarded magazines, headphones that wouldn't be any use to him while he was at Hogwarts, a retro-looking wind up gramophone (though it was more muggle retro than Wizarding retro), and a box which containted his records. It was organised chaos, everything had its place. How he managed to get it all to Hogwarts was something else entirely, but being as it was all against the wall, it wasn't likely to get under anyone's feet unless they tried to snog him in his sleep.

Security system, see?

Done unpacking, The third year flopped back on his bed, listening to the vague sounds of his housemates in the commonroom. He drew his wand and lay there looking at it, trying to figure out what kind of wand it actually was.

Daichi stumbled in to the dormitory with a deep sigh. Why did he mostly made friends with students that graduated last year?! "It's not fair!" He mumbled under his breath as he shuffled towards his own bed. Daichi was, in one word to describe, bored. Not to mention that he missed Evan, when he was around his boredom would be away instantly. The second year sighed again as he let his body fall on to his bed, staring at the ceiling.

He hadn't noticed at first that someone was already in the dormitory. No, scratch that. Two people were already there! He had been so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't seen them so when he sat upright again he gazed at a boy unpacking his trunk and another one looking at his wand on the bed. "What are you two doing he---oh right.." He blushed slightly as he remembered that this was a shared dormitory.

Seeing as the other was still unpacking, Daichi's eyes looked at the boy that was looking at his wand. "Hi! ...uh , what are you doing?" he asked curiously as he scratched the back of his head. He then looked at all the *stuff* that belonged to the other and his eyes fell upon a ...board? What the? "Pppfft! what is THAT?!" He asked as he got up from his own bed to grab the board. Yes he grabbed it. "And why does it have wheels under it?" This thing was funny. Dachi started to spin the wheels from the ..thing.. teehee.

"WHhhhaaaat are you doing?" Corey sat UP. "Its a skateboard. If you break it, I'll break your face." He made grabby hands and actually crooned at the skateboard, muttering something about it being his preciousssss.

The wand went over his ear and he got off the bed and hovered protectively.

Eeeek!

Daichi was startled hearing the other one shouting what he was doing. He "almost" dropped the skateboard to the ground but could luckily catch it. Which was a good thing too because when the older boy said he would break his face if he broke the skateboard. Daichi liked his face so...yeah...

"I-i was just looking" the Slytherin stuttered, something he did when he got nervous. And someone threatening him with breaking his face made him nervous! "Fine..here". He puffed his cheeks as he was giving the skateboard back in to the hands of the other. He could not help but hear the crooning. 'weirdo..' he thought and walked back to his own bed. "I'm Daichi by the way" he said as he fell down on his bed again with a deeeeeeeep sigh of boredom.

"Yeah? With your hands?" He took his board back and stroked it and checked it over.

"Well see now that I know your name...." He held the skateboard out a bit.

"I'm Corey."

Daichi rolled his eyes as he lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Well, atleast the boy was nice enough to introduce himself too. He nodded his head in acknowledgement when he said his name and sat up right on his bed.

He stared at the board that Corey was checking over and his curiousity sparked. He might has well had told him it was a *skateboard* but now that he thought about it... he still didn't know what it was. "What's that thing for anyway? " Daichi asked as he pointed at the board in Corey's hands like it was his most prized possession. "Do you like.. stand on it and it rolls away?" He chuckled out loud.

"Well yeah." Corey agreed and pointed at one of the skateboarding posters on his wall. "And you do tricks and things, if you're good enough." And got really banged up and bruised if you weren't, or if you were still learning like Corentin was.

"You can try if you want, but you'll probably fall over, just so you know."

Damon strolled into the Slytherin Dorms, chucked his bag to the floor and looked around. Man, another boring year at this school. And to make it worse his older brother Tyson wasn't even around to make it bareable. His brother was one who didn't exactly follow the rules and Damon just loved to help him with all of his devious plans! However, Tyson had graduated and finally escaped this place...unlike him. Last year, he and his brother had been moved from Durmstrang due to their...mischief, as some called it. He hoped that he would be able to pull some pranks this year without his brother, and he would make him proud! Damon casually plonked on one of the beds, reclined with his hands behind his head and sighed.

Jonathan woke up in the morning. This is going to be a slow day. It's a weekend so all he has to do right now id to get himself going with all the piled up homework. Jonathan looked at the floor. He should be finishing them already since the due date of passing the homework is less than 5 days.

He'll start with Transfiguration homework.

He took his wand that was under his pillow. That's where he puts his wand. "Felintas" without even getting ready. He just tapped his head once and concentrated for any hair style. He is rather sleepy right now.

Yawn.

He took out his mirror and looked at his reflection. WHOAH! It was quite long but not that long. He just look like someone who never had a hair cut within 2 years. He checked the back side of his hair. He actually likes this sort of hairstyle. Really suits him honestly.

Maybe he should have this hair some other time right?

Jonathan yawned again. This time concentrating again "Intaris!" did he do it correctly? He looked at the mirror again. He smiled. Yup, his hair is back to normal.

Now, time to go back to sleep again.

Nikolas was tired, very tired of homeworks and classes. Still he wasn't done yet and he need to continue with History of Magic, Muggle studies and more. Looking over to his books, he didn't find them appealing to start writing so instead he grabbed his wand and practiced Transfiguration. He was going to change his hair color into a green one. Tap once and "Ristaris" the hair started to look green, a dark green. He walked over to a mirror and saw his new hair color. Very slytherin-ish. He would wear his hair like this when Quidditch matches started.

Now back to brown hair, because he wanted to go to sleep. Double tap on top of his head "Intaris" and his hair color was back. Perfect now off to bed!

Kennedy made his way to his room, planning to do his Runes homework. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to do this, but he had an idea...kind of. He climbed onto his bed and closed the curtains of his four poster so that no one would see him. Sitting indian style, Kennedy took out the rune he would be using and the text as well. Setting the book in front of him, he studied the chant and took his wand into the same hand he was holding the rune.

SIGH.

This felt so weird. No homework at his muggle school required him to talk out loud. It made him feel odd. What would his mom think of him if she saw him doing this? She'd probably accept him, but...eh. Then he remembered the item he was supposed to use. Duh, he couldn't do this assignment without it. Digging his hand into his pocket, Kennedy took out a small necklace chain that had a small feather charm hanging on it.

Okay, time to do this.

Kennedy pointed his wand that the necklace and began, "Berkano berkano berkano bu ba bi be bo b e e e e e r r r r r (burk bark birk berk bork) ob eb ib ab ub b e e e e e r r r r r."

Wow, that made him feel...feel like he was talking to himself. His thoughts vanished when he saw a small glow spread throughout the chain. It was an awesome sight. He smiled. Berkano, the rune of protection, family matters and...well, fertilization. He didn't want nothing to do with the last one, but the first two was what he was aiming for. He wanted protection from bullies and he wanted his family issues to get better, that would help him concentrate in school better. Not having to worry about either of those would be a great relief.

Kennedy looked down at the text and wondered if he could do that on another item and send it to his mom. He wanted to make sure she was protected while he was studying here at Hogwarts. He closed the book. One homework down, many to go.

Nikolas arrived to his common room and went directly to his bed. He was coming from Ancient Runes lesson and he had to do something privately and since there was no one in the dorms he decided to do it there.

He sat down on his bed and took from under his shirt a necklace, the necklace they made in Ancient Runes. He had to bless it and the professor said they had to kiss it privately. Nikolas looked for a while the necklace and thought about his family. After that, he kissed the rune and...that was it, the rune was blessed. Mission accomplished. He got up and left the dorms.

Kennedy woke up strangely energized even though he slept pretty late after reading his Astronomy text. He was trying to keep up with how the moon phases affect people's moods and magic. He was having a hard time understanding the phases in between the new moon and the full moon, but he was getting there.

He opened the curtains of his four poster and stretched. He felt like taking a walk around the grounds. Maybe he'd take Puff along with him so she could get some fresh air.

Yeah, he'll do that.

Kennedy stood up and dressed. Walking over to his bedside table he took the metal egg and put inside his pocket and then picked Puff up and stationed her on his shoulder. Before leaving he looked at the calendar chart and saw that it was going to be the waxing gibbous tonight.
