You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement...

"Two families have been arch enemies for hundreds of years: The Rowe family, and the uhh 'something or other family'." he couldn't remember the name.
"According to my uncle, no one knows who started the rivalry, but apparently it has mainly been lying low." Pretty believable really.
"However there have been a few wars though, some which resulted in serious losses, and this has continued the rivalry to this day"

Hmm it was suddenly seeming more serious and Scott was becoming less skeptical.

He concluded with "And so the story goes" and smiled.
Scott didn't know if the story, the murder of his aunt and supposedly being followed were connected in anyway.

Ok more information this was becoming more serious...but she was starting to add things up. Scott was old enough now to become involved in it. This sounds like it really could be part of whats going on. Then she thought of what he said his parents told him...when he was old enough he'll know...this was really adding up.

"I think it has something to do with whats going on... Family Rivalries are most of the time very serious" she told him. Things were adding up now he just needed to get a letter from his parents because there does need to be more information to figure this out.

"But I guess you'll know more when your parents write back...well hopefully they will tell you because you deserve to know. Maybe also try writing your uncle maybe he'll tell you"

I'll tell him what I need to say later it can wait she had so much on her mind between not trusting all those ravenclaw girls, her parents getting released from azkaban(claiming they had been placed under the imperius curse), and now she was worried about Scott. But Scott was her main priority. Hopefully he'll get a letter back soon. Reaching into her bag she grabbed her wand to practice some spells.

When she finished the song, Ellie placed her hands on her lap and paused for a moment before looking at Dallin... That wasn't too terrible was it?

As Ellie pulled him over to the piano Dallin couldn't help but grin. He was right! He sat down right next to her, putting an arm loosely around her waist as he listened to her explain the importance of the song. Of course he didn't know what song it was, but he liked the sound of it. If it could remind her of him and all of that other stuff... it must be a good song. Dal smiled, getting ready to listen to it.

And for loving me. His smile got bigger at those familiar words. They seemed to be a popular choice for the two of them - he remembered saying them in the Observatory that night before the end of term feast last year. When they had first said I love you to each other.

His thoughts were soon distracted from that, though, when Ellie started playing. Then singing. He stared at her hands, watching them press down the piano keys, and slowly put both of his hands in his lap. She was good. And the song... was great. He could see how it might make her think of him, because he automatically related it to her. And not just because she was singing it, but because of the words. He looked at her, watching as she sang, then back to the piano. Back and forth, until she finished the song. Then he looked at her hands in her lap before taking one in both of his.

"Thanks," he said quietly with a smile. And he meant that in the most sincere way possible. He had loved the song, and he loved that she had played and sung it for him. "That was... really good."

While reading the letter she started to really worry even more. At least his parents told him the truth. His family was at war with another family... Chelsea really never thought she'd be so worried about someone.

"I just don't see why you have to be involved" she said looking down with a worried look on her face.

"So what do you plan on doing about this? I'm curious how this person got on Hogwarts grounds though. Hogwarts has some of the hardest spells to break protecting it..."

A full blown war, why on earth was an 11 year old involved?!

"I don't either, I suppose I need to know so I can defend myself." he said softly.

He was thinking the same thing "I suppose they are just extremely powerful wizards." he said. At least he knew now.

He was 11 years old, and had to deal with the prospect of being followed and attacked at anytime! Not the average childhood life.

She would eventually tell him about what was happening with her parents. Since she hated to keep things from him but right now wasn't the proper time to say anything about that.

Marie blushed a little at the thought of Matty watching her sleep. Not that she minded. It was just a bit odd thinking of him as a girl watching her sleep. She was pretty sure she never did anything like that before, but knowing her luck the night Matty was in her room would be the night she said something that would embarrass her if heard by the wrong person.

Kissing his thumb as he ran it over her lips she smiled as she looked into his eyes. She then slipped her arms around his waist and closed her eyes as he started kissing her. She could spend the whole evening just snuggling with him like this and it would be the best night of her life.

Then again, any night with Matty was the best night of her life.

"Now point your wand towards me and aim at me, that's it" he said. "Now don't do any spells just stay there" he signaled.

He paused, channeling all his emotion into concentration and aimed carefully at Chelsea's wand.

But once she got started, she remembered why she was doing this and that Dallin loved her, and that seemed to make all the nerves go away. It was just her, Dallin and the piano. "I really think so," he answered her with a nod. "It was a really good song, too. And you have a beautiful voice." Not to mention she played the piano so good... GAH. How lucky was he that she wanted to be stuck with him?

Clearing his thoughts, he looked back at her eyes. "Thank you so much. For all of this." The room, the painting, the song... everything. It was just too much... but Dallin wasn't going to complain.

She laughed still feeling completely stupid. I can't believe I had been so worried for the past few days...over nothing! well at least she got that cleared up...one less worry.
She smiled "I love you too" and kissed him.

She walked over to the other side of the room to face him. Pointing her wand straight at him she held it still. In a matter of seconds her wand went flying out of her hand and she was knocked backwards a little "That was great!" she told him smiling. Seems like defensive spells would come easy to him too...a good thing.

"Lets try it when your a bit more...unprepared" she told him. She aimed her wand at him and waited a few seconds so he wouldn't know exactly when she would cast her spell. She began to say the spell. Now could he disarm her in time before she could complete her spell?

"I really think so," he answered her with a nod. "It was a really good song, too. And you have a beautiful voice." Not to mention she played the piano so good... GAH. How lucky was he that she wanted to be stuck with him?

Clearing his thoughts, he looked back at her eyes. "Thank you so much. For all of this." The room, the painting, the song... everything. It was just too much... but Dallin wasn't going to complain.

The more Dallin spoke, the more she blushed. He kept complimenting her! But it was his birthday, Ellie should be making Dallin feel good about himself, right? Plus, Ellie was awkward when it came to receiving compliments. It was just something she was never good at. Ellie looked down at their hands. "Thanks." She said, a little embarrassed, though she didn't know why.

But she looked back up when he thanked her again, for everything. Ellie scanned around the room at everything before looking back at him. She smiled. "You deserve it." And she leaned in and kissed him on the corner of his mouth. He really did. And even if Ellie wasn't biased, she would still believe that.

Well, that was all her surprises for the night. "Now you get to choose what we do next." She told him with a smile. Now, it was time for Dallin to decide what to do. They could eat cake and ice cream, snack on junk food, cuddle in front of the fire, play hide-and-go-seek. It was up to him.

"I have one more surprise for you..."
*Standing up he took her hands and slowly lead them over to the windows that was really a balcony.*

Marie loved surprises, yes she did.

Following Matty out to the balcony her mouth hung open in awe at what she found out there. Turning to face him she hugged him close to her. "This is perfect." She really did have the greatest boyfriend ever.
