She put her quill and book down and stood up. Looking around the room she spotted another light walking towards her. The first thing she noticed was a wand ready to be used. Secondly she noticed it was Scott. "Scott! its just me, Chelsea" she told him so he knew to lower his wand. For a second it looked as if he would use his wand on her. She started walking over to him tripping over various object in the room. Ok...this place needs a light before someone gets hurt... she thought as she almost fell on the ground.

Scott walked towards someone who looked to be using a quill, and pointed his wand slightly upwards towards them, waiting for them to come into his field of vision.
Upon closer inspection he knew this person, and lowered his wand.
"Chelsea!" his heart skipped a beat "Thank Merlin!"
She was tripping over everything, so he ran over and caught her before she had a nasty accident, and he didn't want that happening.

While walking towards him she almost fell but before she could hit the ground Scott caught her. "Thanks" she said looking up at him smiling. Although she could barely see him she could tell he had been a bit startled, she giggled a bit. They walked over to the fireplace...now she could see him better. "For a second I thought you were going to use your wand on me" she said jokingly.

"You're welcome" he smiled.
He liked to think himself not as vein, although some of the Ravenclaw girls had shown an interest in him. But he loved Chelsea.
He was a bit embarrassed "I was" he laughed "That would NOT have ended well" he chuckled.

"Nice to know you would use your wand on your own girlfriend" she said jokingly. "Next time I'll make sure to keep my wand on hand" she laughed.

She sat down "So how were tryouts yesterday?" she asked while smiling. She wanted to know why he had seemed a bit distant lately. Something just had been off about him the last few days but did she really want to know why? She just had a bad habit of thinking of every possible horrible situation.

"Well, if I had to.." he laughed again. "Good idea" he smiled, then continued "I always have my wand in my hand or pocket, safest way" he paused. "Well dad seemed to think so, he always seemed like he was trying to protect me from something"
Thinking of his dad brought back bad memories of Knockturn Alley.
That dreadful place with Dark Wizards.
"But something...specific"

He realized what he was doing. "Sorry I'm trailing off" he withdrew slightly "Tryouts weren't too bad actually" he smiled.

She laughed "Good thing I know defensive spells but never thought I'd need them to protect my self from my boyfriend" she smiled. "Thats true it makes it for an easy reach when in a bad situation" she said. Looking at Scott he seemed to be thinking deeply about something. She was curious. "What was your dad trying to protect you from? Sorry for asking if you don't want to tell me its fine" she said. She understood because of what happened when she was younger with her parents.

She smiled at him "Its fine. Thats great hopefully you make the team"

"You should be better prepared next time" he winked.
"Exactly" he replied quickly, "It's perfect for unexpected events" he smiled.

He stopped, then looked in deep thought.
His parents, what were they trying to protect him from?
"That's the thing" he paused looking sad "I don't know" he looked down again "But I do know that it's serious, and that there is probably some threat against me or my family" he thought about this and wanted to cry.

Why was there a threat against his family? They hadn't done anything against anyone!

He stayed in his defensive position and tried to keep cool.

"Trust me...I will I know a few spells..." she giggled and winked at him.

Scott seemed to have put a defensive wall up. She could only tell this because she did this all the time because of her parents. She moved closer to him and put her head on his shoulder "Well if its serious you deserve to know. Have you tried asking them about it?" she asked him. She was worried about him now.

She had something she needed to ask him... but later. Her stupid jealous trait wasn't important right now...

"Oh, of course. She's totally lovely and makes boss cookies," Lauren smiled. "Shall we head off to the treehouse then?"

Seeing Dallin eye the piano and then look back at her, she was pretty sure he might have a good idea as to what she had in store. Ellie bit her lip to keep herself from grinning to hard. Grabbing his hand again, she pulled him over to the piano. She took a seat on the bench and pulled him down to sit next to her. Okay, deep breaths, Ellie.. Deep breaths.

"So, as corny as this sounds... This song, erm... It really means a lot to me. 'Cause when I first heard it, I thought of you and..." Ellie looked at her hands and nervously played with the ring on her finger. "And how whenever life is rough, or I'm having a bad day or whatever, I can just be with you. And you make everything okay. So I just wanted you to know how much you mean to me. And thank you, for everything you've done for me. And for loving me." Looking back up at him, a gentle smile was on her lips. She really felt like she could never repay him for what he had done for her over the summer, but this song was a start.

Then, she turned to face the piano, placed her fingers on the keys and took a deep breath. And then she played her song for Dallin. "When I Look At You". It really depicted everything she loved about being with Dallin. Yeah, it was corny for her to sing him a song. Way corny. But, she didn't care.

When she finished the song, Ellie placed her hands on her lap and paused for a moment before looking at Dallin... That wasn't too terrible was it?

His anger with his parents was building. How could they strive to always protect him from something but not let him know what it was?

"I know, I've tried" he looked down, disappointed his parents couldn't be honest. "The most I've got is..'When the time is right, you'll know" he sighed.

"Something on your mind?" he said, as he felt she was thinking about something else.

She was starting to get worried about Scott she had never seen this side of him before. How could his parents not tell him about this wouldn't that only make it more of a threat to him? "Is there anything that you can remember from when you were younger that may lead to what their trying to protect you from?" she asked. Its one of the things she hated was her vivd memory but its why she knew her parents ended up where they are now. So mabey if he could remember from when he was younger it may help.

She looked at him "Its not important right now" she told him. She trusted Scott it was those other girls she didn't trust. But right now she was only concerned with his safety and she was worried about him.

Looking deep into Chelsea's eyes Scott could see that she was concerned. He didn't want to worry her, but this was something he could NOT hide.

"No nothing" he paused, trying to remember as hard as he can "WAIT" he exclaimed.
"My aunt was killed strangely a long while ago." He looked down, thinking of his happy, loving aunt.

"The next day I was approached by someone in the street" he thought back again. "He said this; 'They will be back for you'"
Saddened by the fact he hadn't linked the two together he explained: "I was young, I didn't know what it meant"

He looked up, thinking hard about who 'they' were.
"But I still don't know" he put his head in his arms and sobbed slightly.

Chelsea was really worried now. How could anyone want to hurt him he hadn't done anything. She was really curious about why someone killed his aunt. She saw him crying a bit she put her arms around him and lied her head on his shoulder. "Scott try to think hard about about who they were please I'm so worried right now I don't want something to happen to you..." she trailed off.

"Do you remember the slightest bit what they looked like the day the approached you or where you were?" Chelsea was going to help him find out what was going on.

She was kinda mad that his parents wouldn't tell him but it wasn't her place to get involved with that.

He tried to think as hard as he could, where were all the rememberalls in these situations?

He stuttered a bit, thinking of the intimidating man that approached him.
"M-male, hooded figure, average height, brown hair" that was all he could think of.

Then it came to him.

"Tried to remain hidden, and I might of seen him more than once."

She tried to think. That could be almost anyone... she thought.

"Where were you when it happened?" she asked him. That could also have a lot to do with who it could have been.

He said something that made her think. More than once? "Where else have you seen him?" By the sounds of it Chelsea was thinking it was a Dark Wizard...

"Near my house, on the street" he said thinking about it. Vague information, not much to go on, but it's a start.
Why oh why, was someone after him?
Hmm, when was the other time? He could swear he'd seen that face again.
"At the station!" he suddenly almost shouted.

She was thinking hard she had never been good at this kind of stuff but she would do her best to help him. After all she was very concerned...

Wait!? at the station that wasn't long ago...
"Was the person still hidden when you were at the Station?" she was very curious to who it could be. Did this person have a connection with his family since they had been near his home?

Right the station, well when he came to the wall there was a man that was looking but immediately turned away. Was it him?
He then remembered something else.

"Platform 9/4 he was there, I know it!"
Hmm was he hidden? Well Scott wasn't close to him but he appeared to be.
"Yes, he was wearing a black cloak and you could just see his eyes."

The information was so vague making it much harder to figure this out. She was trying to process all the information to try and add things up but she just couldn't.

Hidden...Black cloak...Ok that never meant something good she knew that for sure. But what could it be? Gosh his parents really need to tell him...

"Is there anything else you could think of that would help add all this together?" hopefully he could remember more. If this was serious he should be able to have a somewhat vivid memory.

"Nothing" he sighed looking down again. "I'll write to my parents, and then let you know" he said.

He had a small memory "The only other thing I can remember, was a shady man in a cloak in the forest, on our way here."
He paused to explain himself further "When we were in the lake."

Were they linked? He really needed to know.

The person could possibly be here...at Hogwarts?! She was so worried she tried her hardest to think of things that could help...wait her aunt was in Ravenclaw when she was here maybe she knows his parents...could she somehow be of any help...probably not. Worth a shot at thinking though.

"Well until you get a letter back should we stay in the castle?" it was probably the safest place for Scott if the person he was talking about was wandering the grounds.

"Hopefully you get a letter back soon. This is quite hard to figure out. Could this person be somehow connected with your family in any other way besides your aunts death?" she knew she was asking a lot of questions but right now anything was better than nothing...

"The castle?" he looked up, he could see she cared "If you think I should stay in the castle then I will" he smiled.

"I hope so too" he said softly. "I can't think of anything though other than an age old family rivalry..." he thought deeply.
The very family rivalry that his uncle had told him about, but he still knew little about
Probably not linked, so he naively ignored the thought.

Good he wanted to stay inside the castle she relaxed a little bit. "I do think you should stay in the castle at least until you get a letter back" She smiled. "Because by the sounds of it this person could be wandering around the grounds"

Family rivalry...ok he seemed to have trailed off. This was something not to ignore. Chelsea knew a lot about family rivalries most of the time they were serious. "Family Rivalry? How serious was it?"
