You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement...
Jez suppressed a shiver. The way Nate was looking at her made her both nervous and oddly thrilled. Little bubbles were popping in her stomach. She was faintly aware of Nate's wand one the floor. He'd dropped it. It didn't matter right now. The only reason her own wand wasn't joining it was because the bumps and indents of the wood seemed to fit perfectly into her hand.
Why was she thinking about her wand? Because she couldn't think about what was happening, because if she got her hopes up, they'd crash again ... She stayed very still, a little voice in her brain screaming at her that this was too close, that she should step away before something happened that she'd regret, but she couldn't move. She pushed her conscience away, her heart banging in her chest. Just concentrate on that.
Nate smiled and reached out slowly for Jez's hand, not breaking his gaze from her eyes. He was transfixed. Trapped, even. "I've never met anyone quite like you, Jezabel..." Nate breathed, his voice trailing out. He didn't know why he had used her full name.
Ariana needed a place to think. She was at a hard place in life, she hadn't heard from her parents in months & they hadn't returned any of her owls. She was getting worried but there was only a few weeks left of school. This summer she was staying with Josie & Joseph so that she can be with them & Max, her parents were okay with it & said they's visit on the weekends last time they spoke. thought Joseph seemed to be ignoring Ariana for the past 2 months, did he not like her anymore did she say something wrong. Ariana was upset, she was 12 she DIDN'T need boy problems. She was wondering on the 7th floor when she saw a door that she didn't recognize. She entered and soon realized she had stumbled upon the lost room of requirement.. well it wasn't so lost now i guess.

*It was true that after the close call they had had on spring holiday marriage had gone around in his mind. But for other reasons. His uncle made him see that by taking out the time, and situations he wanted to spend all of his life with Marie. To never be apart from her, no matter what. That was when it hit Matty what he wanted more than anything. As soon as they were out of school he wanted to start a life with Marie. Forever and always.*
Marie didn't miss the fact that Matty ignored her comment about leaving school now. She knew the only reason he was still at school was because of her but really, she would leave to help him and his family out if needed. After all, they were going to be her family too. For now though she chose to let it go.
Looking up she kissed him on the cheek. "Have I told you lately just how much I love you?"

Jez grinned. "And you probably never will," she replied. Why had he used her full first name?
'Move away now!' ordered the voice in her head. 'He's too close!'
'Do it, do it, do it ...' chanted the chorus of little voices in her heart that sounds strangely like house-elves.
Jez leant forward slightly and kissed Nate softly. She smiled, hoping she'd done the right thing.

Nate figured out why he had used Jez's full name the moment her lips touched his. And seeing her smile after the kiss confirmed Nate's slight fears and secret hopes: he did love Jez. Which, if you were to think about it, was sort of weird in a way: Nate didn't really know Jez, yet he knew her better than anyone else except for Pam.
Nate was too busy to get caught up in this, though. Too busy actually grabbing Jez's hand lightly and kissing her on the cheek. "You're right," he whispered when his lips were right by her ear, "I don't think there is anyone else quite like you."

Nate was too busy to get caught up in this, though. Too busy actually grabbing Jez's hand lightly and kissing her on the cheek. "You're right," he whispered when his lips were right by her ear, "I don't think there is anyone else quite like you."
Jez grinned. "That's a good thing?" she asked, happier than she'd ever been. Today she'd gone from ridiculously happy to the depths of despair, only to arrive back up at ecstasy better than ever before. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of flying in her own bubble.
Then a thought jolted her back to reality. Well, two actually. Scott and Faina. That'd be the third heartbreak Faina would go through this term. And although she hadn't seen Scott for months, she had a feeling that he wouldn't be happy when she told him her feelings had changed. Was that even possible - such a quick hop between loyalties, without her even realising it?
Jez pulled away from Nate. He wasn't exactly a clean slate. Did that make Jez a player, kissing someone who was supposed to love another girl? Although with Nate, she could never be sure who he loved. Her hesitance showed in her eyes. "What about Faina, Nate?" she asked in a low voice. "What about Scott?"

Nate was glad his wand was on the ground, because he could have blown his own brains out right then and there. "Oh no..." Nate started pacing wildly back and forth. "What about them?" he said rather aggressively, mad only at himself for letting this happen again. But with Jez it had felt different, had felt truly right. But then again, Nate had felt something similar with both Pam and Faina. "They could both be off together for all we know! At least I don't have to worry about Pam, she likes Harvey..." Whoops...

Jez folded her arms and stared right at Nate. "While that last piece of gossip has not gone unnoticed," something she'd ask Pam about later, "I highly doubt Scott and Faina are off together. Nate, I ... I really like you," don't commit to that just yet, "but you've seriously got to get your priorities straight. I'm telling you now, I don't want to be hurt again this term." She'd seriously had enough of crying, because she'd cried more times this term than in her whole life. "As soon as you hurt me like that, I'll end everything, alright?" Now we've gotten that down ... "I'll tell Scott when I see him next," sighed Jez, dreading it. "And you tell Faina."

Nate shook his head slowly, not entirely rejecting what Jez was saying, but still wanting to pose his own idea. "What if you told Faina and I slipped it to Scott?" He hesitated for a moment, looking pensive, "And I've been thinking lately about the relationship between Faina and I. Could I get some advice? Maybe even later in, in the commons?" Nate had really needed someone like Jez to explain his doubts to, and that was before they kissed. Now Jez was officially Nate's best resource.

"Don't worry love. You're more than just a piece of meat to me. You're the whole meal." Kissing him back she moved her leg a little causing Frankie to fall off their laps.
Oops. Sorry Jr.
With Frankie now on the floor Marie moved so she was sitting on Matty's lap. "I love you always and forever too." Seizing his lips with hers she pulled him into a deep kiss. It was still early... right? They didn't have to be back in their common rooms for a few hours at least.

"Okay, I'll practise my Shield Charms," said Jez, only half joking. She didn't know how Faina would react to having Jez tell her, but whatever it would be, Jez could deal with it. "And yeah, sure. I'd be happy to help." Jez felt that she owed Nate for his help, and was eager to repay him. She grinned, which quickly gave way to a yawn. Wow, she was tired!

"You look sleepy. Should we go back now?" Nate suggested, pointing one thumb at the door and extending his free hand to Jez. "We can talk tomorr--" Nate cut off into a yawn of his own. "Come on, Jez, let's go back." He took her hand and escorted her off to the common room, eager for what was to come of what had happened in the room of requirement.

*Matty kissed her back with a little smile. He was a very happy meal at the moment if what she said was true, and he knew it was. After a few minutes he pulled back and smiled warmly at her.*
"You must be dying to tell some people..."
*Picking her up and setting her down Matty walked to the door.*

"Lets go let our friends know."
Marie frowned when Matty pulled away from her. "No, I can't say that telling anyone was on my mind right now." No, she had other things on her mind. Like staying in this room with Matty all snuggled in front of the fire.
Apparently he was anxious to tell their friends the great news though. "Fine, let's go find our friends and tell them our news." Walking over to him she grabbed his hand lacing their fingers together. "We're coming back here later though." It was still her birthday. Surly he wouldn't make her pout on her birthday... would he?
She knew it was Violet, as she was the only person who called her 'Rosie'. 'Violet.' she breathed, dashing forward and hugging the youngest of the two twins. 'Vi, we've been so worried, you were gone, now you're here! Oh... Uh...' It was Lilly.
Rose pulled Violet back. She didn't think that Violet wanted anyone to see her right now, apart from Rose, who was going to try and help her. So, they had to hide. Lilly would be able to talk to Violet later, right now, Rose had to talk to her.
Violet yelped as she was hugged, having not expected it. She hugged Rose back, nodding. 'I'm sorry, I just... It's difficult, I don't know what to do anymore, I'm just...' Lilly? Violet allowed Rose to pull her away, not wanting to see her twin at that moment. She had to be sorted out first. She knew she needed a bit of help, and she didn't want to snap at Lilly whilst waiting.

Lilly raised her eyebrow. The room was empty. Weird. Very weird.
Then it hit her. Ohhh. This was the room of requirement. That made sense. That was solved. But where was Violet????

O___O
She was on her way down toward the floor. Louisa balanced herself by snatching Vashti's sleeve and bringing her down a bit before straightening up and turning around. She'd already gotten used to Kita's grand entrance, she was that kind of crazy hyper seventeen year old. With a giggle, Louisa grinned at Kita, "Hey, big girl.." because she was graduating soon, "..this is Vashti Greenwell. My best friend." The other one that is. Kita should recognize the girl from Quidditch, right? Right. "And Vashti, that is Kita Lewis. My best friend." Again.
Did she have too many best friends? Naaah. There are no laws about these things.
Are there?

She smiled when Kita greeted her. "Hey." And then Louisa was introducing them. "We've met, I think," she said, nodding. Not only would they know each other from the Quidditch pitch, but she was pretty sure they'd met during a class a year or two ago. At least, she thought Kita was the person she was thinking of. She could be wrong, of course.

They were falling to the flooooor! Okay, not really but they had NEARLY fell to the floor. This was not good. Was Kita that heavy? Was this because of all the food she ate? Maybe she needed to cut down on food? Especially chocolate?
... PFFT! Like THAT'S going to happen.
Kita grinned as the two girls steadied themselves. Having a seventeen year old throw herself on your shoulders isn't exactly... easy to recover from. But the girls were doing well. She giggled as she jumped down from Louisa's back. She threw her arms around the girl and gave her a big fat squeeze. Kita style. "HAI!" she chirped.
And... now she was being introduced to the other girl. Ravenclaw. The girl she had seen before but... didn't know the name of. ... Did that even make sense? Meh. Kita grinned. "Hai!" she chirped again, trying not to squeeze this new girl as well. Honestly, any more chirping and she may as well transfigure herself into a bird. A cute bird who you can sit around at home with and stroke their feathers...
AHEM!
"I think we've met as well!" See? She WASN'T hallucinating! "Do you... play Quidditch?" 'Cause, for some reason, Kita could imagine the girl in a Quidditch uniform.
And... now... "Is this our pyjama party?" More like pillow fight in which this Hufflepuff was going to WIN!

No. Vashti might evanesco the girl's mind. She did something like that before.

Louisa stood in front of the wall, expecting the other two to follow suit, and closed her eyes. They want a.. bedroom for pillow fight. He wasn't going to wait outside, no. But the note he wrote to Dallin was very clear and specific as to what the Ravenclaw boy should say if he wanted to enter the Room of Requirement and help him out a bit.
There were no expectations at all, but Treyen needed someone that had accomplish something with the spell, of course.
So honestly, Dallin didn't know why Treyen wanted his help with this. Dallin was no whiz at this spell, having only accomplished it twice. But who knew, maybe today would be a good day and Dallin would be amazing and he would be able to teach Treyen and do a great job. It was possible.
After pacing in front of the wall, a door appeared and Dallin, hoping he'd gotten the instructions right, went in. Oh - there was Treyen. Dallin smiled a greeting, closing the door behind him.
"Sorry it's taken me so long to do this," he said, folding his arms and looking at the prefect.

What?
His eyes went to the place where the entrance would be and he nodded once Dallin stepped inside. "No, don't worry about it." They had been both rather busy, but the Ravenclaw should've gotten faster considering it might take him less time if he came from the Common Room.
Either way, Dallin was here. That's what mattered. It didn't even matter if Treyen managed to successfully cast a Patronus.
"I just...well, you know I'm aware of the theoretical part of the spell...but you've cast it before." That's all he needed, that someone who'd done so could help out somehow. "So, I know the spell, and the wand movement...kind of." But Dallin was free to start at any point now. But if he was asked for a happy memory, he probably didn't have one that could be strong enough for this.

Vashti glanced at Louisa when she spoke next... What?! Almost curfew?! "It can't be," Vashti said, blinking in surprise. She'd made sure they had allowed loads of time between now and curfew. Had she read her clock wrong?! Did either of them have a watch?! She glanced between the two but didn't get the chance to ask before it was clear Louisa was concentrating on asking the Room of Requirement for the room they wanted. Vashti had enough experience with this room to know she needed to concentrate too, so she did, closing her eyes and imagining a bedroom with LOADS of pillows for them to throw and fight with.
When she opened them again, she too saw the door that had appeared. She nodded as Louisa suggested they go in, and followed her younger friend to the door.

"Okay..." Dallin nodded, shrugging as he pushed himsef away from the wall and pulled out his wand. "I don't know what else to tell ya," he said honestly. "You just... You just need a really good memory. That's the main thing." Dallin nodded, mostly to himself.
You know, if Dallin decided to dedicate his life to teaching, well, he'd have to work on some skills for sure.
Treyen nodded, wand at hand. A really good memory? He didn't know which memory to use, truth be told, because he knew that it had to be strong enough for this particular spell.
Sigh. He had no idea, and he had time to figure it out, right? "Can you go first?" So he'll have an idea of what to do?
