| | Room of Requirement
You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement... |

"Since your last birthday. After our scare... I knew then that I wanted to marry you." *Watching her look at the ring he smiled glad to see that she liked it.*
"It's okay? The ring I mean? You like it?"

"It's okay? The ring I mean? You like it?" "Really?" Well that explained some of the conversations they had been having over the past year. Not to mention his conversations with her father... the ones he didn't tell her about right away.
Bringing her hand around she placed it on his chest as she stared at it some more. "It's more than okay. It's perfect. I love it, just like I love you." Leaning in she gave him another kiss. "It's even a perfect fit. How long have you had it?" More importantly, how did he know what size to get?

"The fit I just used a tiny fitting charm and I've had that ring since I was born. It's been in my family for a few hundred years. My uncle says it belonged to my mother..."
*That always stood out to Matty. His uncle Gabben hated Matty's family, why he would never say. But for Matty he saved a few things for him from his real family. With a big smile he moved aside and showed a big box on a table.*
"Would you like to have your final gift?"

"Would you like to have your final gift?" Oh right. Magic. "You... you're giving me a ring that was your mother's?" She had never heard him mention anything about his parents other than they were killed when he was really young. "That means a lot... that you want me to have something that has been in your family for so long." Slipping her arms around his waist she gave him another hug. "Thank you." O___O
Another present? "You mean there's more?" She didn't think anything could top what he's already given her. She wasn't going to turn a gift away though. Looking over at the box on the table her smile widened even more. "Can I open it now?" No you fool, he asked if you wanted it just to see what you'd say. |

*Giving her a are you really asking me that look Matty moved a hand to let her open it. While she went to open the gift he picked up Frankie jr. The crup was soon licking his face and trying to nibble his ears. That just made Matty smirk.*

Seeing what was inside once the box was opened she about fell over. Turning towards Matty she stared at him for a moment with her mouth just hanging open. She didn't even comment on Frankie licking his face. "Are you... trying to tell me something here?" Like did he want to start having children already? More specifically a baby girl? Why else would he be giving her a dollhouse for her birthday? And right after he proposed to her.

"Huh?" *Moving a crazy Frankie jr. out of the way Matty now saw the look on her face and was confused. Taking a step back he tried to see what this gift would look like to Marie.*
"No! That's not what I meant- it's a model."
*Putting the crup down he went over to Marie. He should have known she would jump to thoughts like that.*
"As fun as it is to live in my uncles castle it's nice to get away. If you want this could be our home. It's not done yet but this is what it would look like. If you want. I can still make changes or take it down if you would rather we lived somewhere else. I just thought that... you might want a home of our own?"

She didn't know what she would say if he said he wanted to have children already. It was going to be hard enough taking care of his cousins let alone have a child of their own to care for.
Oh phew. That's not what he meant. O__O
A house! He was giving her a house for her birthday? Okay, so it was technically for both of them but still... a HOUSE?
Turning back to the box she now lifted the model that was not a dollhouse out of the box. Setting it on the table she walked around looking it over. It was perfect. "Don't change a thing." Truth was, it could have been a little shack and she'd be perfectly happy with it. Just as long as he was there with her. Speaking of there... "Where exactly is this house being built?" |

"Not to far from your parents. A promise I made your father." *He sighed seeing her relax and smiled again. Matty had a feeling he would be smiling for a long time. During his talk with Marie's father Matty told him he was not taking his little girl away and to prove that he started on a house about thirty minutes walk away from her parents home. He had no idea if they would be there a lot but point was made.*
"I'm glad you like it, them..."

"I'm glad you like it, them..." It was near her parents? But... "I thought we were going to live in Sweden?" As much as she loved the idea of still being close to her parents she just didn't understand how this was going to work. How were they going to take care of his cousins if they were living in Wiltshire? Not to mention how was he going to fulfill his duties as an ambassador?
Walking back over to him she grabbed his hands lacing their fingers together. "I love it. I just... we're still going to live in Sweden though... right? That's where you're needed. Me, I'm not needed in Wiltshire. My father, he's going to have to get use to the idea that I'm an adult and that I am going to move away from home." Leaning in she gave him a tender kiss. "I love you Matty. You're the one I'm going to marry, you're the one I want to spend my life with, you're the one I've made future plans with. Plans my father is just going to have to learn to live with." It's not like the man seen her that much while she was away at school. Why should things be any different once she graduated?

"I'm not worried..I trust you Josh..it's just...this hurts really bad."
She let her head fall back as she squeezed her eyes even tighter causing little white lights to appear behind her eye lids. She could feel the warm tears running back to her ears.
She nodded as he touched her ankle again and asked if it hurt."yeah..it does a bit.." This must be karma for lying to him. She mentally promised to never lie ever again.
She pulled her head back and opened her eyes for the first time in several minutes, and met his eyes. They seemed sincere and she had no reasons to mistrust him anyways. "O.K..I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you..none of this would have happened..it's my fault." She reached out and touched his cheek gently and smiled at him. "You're amazing you know.." Maybe he could not feel it but he knew it and he could see it in her eyes and expression. The pain was not so easy. So, he decided he had better stop pressing spots to find out the main issue there. Plus he thought his current opinion about the injury was most likely to be right. So, he just nodded at her to ensure that there was going to be no more pushing. ''Now...forget about whose fault it is...'' if only he had the necessary stuff in here. ''...i don't remember the bandage spell and i don't want to take that risk anyway since i am not the greatest when it comes to magic. So...''
...the touch on his cheek made him halt for it...raised lots of emotions inside him. First of all; his deeper wish to be loved. Dark brown eyes widening a bit, he looked at her feeling all...weird. Desperate much? ''Am i?'' he asked with a little and shy smile when she said he was amazing.
Then he cleared his throat carefully placed her leg down on the floor. He needed to focus on what he was supposed to do. Now...this was the 'Room of Requirement', right? Whatever they needed was supposed to appear there somewhere unless it was food. Leaving his shirt at where it used to be then he looked around and...YES!!! There was a kit.
Smiling a bit for he was glad to find that one there, Josh picked the first aid kit up and sat on the floor back to the same spot. ''Since we have this, it will be all better. I'll do my best to deal with the pain.'' Now it was the time to do this and do this right. Opening the kit the first thing he looked was for a cold spray. His smile turned into a content one when he saw it there. ''Now this will feel a little bit...cold. But it'll help with the pain.'' Taking her leg back on his lap, he carefully applied the cold spray on her ankle and up back of her leg. Then he dropped it back, picked up the bandage instead and started to work on the bandaging progress. ''We are almost done. Feeling better?''

Violet peered into the mysterious door and was both surprised and delighted to find a cozy little room. Right in the middle of it stood a worktable and a chair, and on the table stood a bright little lamp and some soft cloths. It was just the sort of place she had been wishing for, a quiet, private place where she could work on her egg.
She settled herself down at the table, adjusted the lamp, and took Lewis, her egg, out of her inner pocket. Poor Lewis--he was sadly tarnished, though not too badly. Still, he was not up to her usual standards, thanks to her fellow Slytherins and their meddling. She took out her wand, pointed it at the top of the egg, spoke the incantation: "Excolo!" and methodically began to polish the egg from top to bottom, one long strip at a time, turning the egg slightly as she finished each section. "Excolo! .... Excolo! ... Excolo!" After a while, she felt like she was in a half-dream, what with staring at the egg as one shiny section followed another and also caught up in the coloured swirls that constantly moved through her egg's surface.
Once she paused to take a break, worried that she would go right into some kind of trance and never be found in that room. She wished she dared leave to get a cup of tea, but she might never find the room again. Almost as soon as she thought it, a nice, hot cup of Assam tea appeared on the table, accompanied by a small jug of milk. There was no sugar, but then, Violet never took any. Happily she sat back, drank her tea, and admired the shiny part of her egg. Once she finished this cup, she would continue with the polishing charm until every inch of Lewis was gleaming and silver-bright.

*Letting out a long sigh, because he had just said a mouthful, he kissed her back then shrugged.*
"I want my cousins... and us to have a place to escape, and be normal."
*He knew she might not fully understand what it was like but that was Matty's whole life. Living in a fish bowl at all times. That's why he liked being at Hogwarts. A place where no one knew him and he could be normal.*

In just the few times she had been there she learned to watch over her shoulder. Never know who might confront you with a crossbow. "I'll do my best to help make sure they have a normal life." Her on the other hand, she didn't care. She knew what she was getting into when she started dating Matty. Just as long as she was with him she would be happy, no matter who was watching over them.
Hugging him tight she rested her head on his shoulder. "Thank you... for everything." This really was the best birthday a girl could ever ask for.

However, this grin was short-lived--as Brae shoved her through the crowd, her shoulder bumped someone every five seconds. She was NOT a happy camper. "OW! Brae--Br--OW, watch it, firstie!"
Typical Braeby. Braeden ignored Ruby's complaints and continued leading the girl through little first years that jumped out of the way startled when the big, scary seventh years popped out of nowhere in front of them. Braeby made it into the entrance hall and up an infinite amount of stairs, up to the seventh floor. Once there, they had to take a short break to catch their breath before moving to their destination - the room of requirement. Parking his car Setting Ruby aside, Brae paced up and down in front of a blank wall until the magical doors appeared. When they walked inside, the two little lions were greeted by a room very similar to their warm and cozy Gryffindor common room, except with a big movie screen on one of the walls. Where else would they watch their movies?!
As he walked inside, Braeden lit the fireplace and turned off the lights, so the only light source were the flames bringing warmth to the room. Conveniently, where there usually were bookshelves and tables to sit and read in the original common room, in this room there were snack bars filled with every possible candy imaginable. And a popcorn machine. Of course.

She was simply our of breath. But she didn't get to relax for that long because she was led to--the Room of Requirement. Of course. Where else could you watch movies in a magical castle?
As he walked in front of it three times and then stepped inside, Ruby had to admit she was quite impressed with her Goofball. So he had a partly functional brain after all. She looked around at the huge TV screen--she didn't know they could get that big, Muggles these days--and then her eyes roamed the candy-filled bars and a popcorn machine in the corner. Not only that, but the room had a homey feel to it--was she imagining it or did the room seem a lot similar to their common room?
Taking it all in, she finally turned to the 'owner' of the room. "Wow. I--I'm impressed, Brae," She said with a grin as she plopped down on the couch and enjoying the warmth of the fire though it was pretty warm outside. Glancing at the TV again, she asked, "So what movie are we watching?" Not to mention she was starving and that popcorn looked really buttery and delicious right now.
Who knew Goofball could whip up something this good?

Who knew Goofball could whip up something this good? As Ruby walked inside and examined the room, Braeden was over at the popcorn machine filling up an enormous bowl with a mountain of popcorn and butter. How this boy wasn't fat remained a mystery.
"I know, so am I. After all these years, it still surprises me," replied Braeden to Ruby's amazement. Of course, the Gryffindork thought she was impressed not by what his mind was able to conjure up, but by the room's ability to transform itself into anything anyone wanted.
Once the bowl in his hands was filled up to the rim, Braeden walked back over to the sitting area and plopped down on the couch beside Ruby, handing her the bowl. As the girl asked what movie they were watching, the Gryffindork pulled his backpack off his shoulder and began rummaging through it. A moment later, he'd pulled out a hand-sized shiny disc. Yes, that's right. Braeden carried around DVDs in his backpack. Just 'cause he always took movie breaks between classes. He usually conjured up this room and watched movies here where no one could bother him. Sometimes he'd even write. After all, the boy was an aspiring script-writer and film director. But most people tended to forget the goofball had dreams and aspirations too.
"Today, we're watching Donnie Darko," he announced with a large grin. "One of my favourites. A classic, too," he shared. "Have you ever heard of it?" Of course, everyone in the muggle world had; but Ruby was a Halfblood, so Brae wasn't sure.

Was he talking about his brain? Shaking it off, the lioness jumped in her seat a little as Brae plopped down beside her. Taking a handful of popcorn and feeding herself, she watched as he took out a shiny disc. Oh right, this was how Muggles watched movies. "Donnie Darko? Uhh...definitely never heard of it," She said in response, hoping it wasn't something BORING. Cause then she would totally fall asleep and snore, which would be embarrassing. "Is that someone's name?" She inquired and grabbed another handful of popcorn. But now all that salt had made her thirsty--hmmm.

It was an amazing movie. Ruby was in for a treat. "You'll never forget this movie," Brae assured her before leaving the couch to put up the movie.
"And yeah, it's the name of the protagonist," he answered to her question, returning to the couch just a few moments later.
Since the room was laid out for the most part almost exactly like the common room, there were plenty of other seats and armchairs around. However, what made Ruby miserable usually made Brae giddy and happy (funny the way Braeby worked), so the boy just HAD to sit on the same couch as her. He also had to pull his shoes off and lift his feet as he lounged on the couch, resting his calves on Ruby's lap, where the giant popcorn bowl had left some space. The goofball stretched and yawned for a moment, adjusted his pillows, and stared at the screen. As if this was all completely acceptable. But he was completely comfortable.

| Shannonnnn >_< Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button Alice was heading towards the Common Room after a good, hearty, dinner with her friends. She was feeling extremely drowsy on her walk back up from the Great Hall; she'd almost fallen asleep on the moving staircases twice, but the lovely pictures that opened their vile mouths and shrieked at her were enough to keep her awake at the time. The little girl stumbled her way towards the Common Room, but she must have taken a wrong turn for she ended up in front of a tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. The first year laughed until her sides ached, but she was still extremely tired. She yawned as she waddled around, trying to find the way back to her Common Room, yet she was so dizzy that she turned and walked towards the tapestry again. And again. And again. Why haven't I reached the Common Room yet? Alice thought, but her confusion was soon washed away by another wave of drowsiness. As she turned another time, she noticed a door opposite the odd tapestry. She turned the little handle and slipped inside the warm room.. There were a few others there, but she didn't mind them. The little firstie found a small cozy nook that she fit in perfectly and gathered her robes around herself. She curled into a little ball and was soon fast asleep.

Ruby watched as Brae assured that she would never forget the movie and then went to go put the disc in. "I hope it's because it's interesting and not because I'm going to die of boredom," She muttered skeptically.
As he returned, Ruby got comfortable on the couch and decided to put her feet up--except there was no table to put her feet on. But seconds later, a table appeared at just the right height. Smiling to herself, she leaned back to enjoy the entertainment.
That is, until Brae's smelly feet landed on her lap. She slowly turned her head to face him, but it seemed as if he was quite oblivious to what he was doing. Or maybe he was doing it on purpose; the latter seemed more practical. After staring at the boy for a few seconds, she pushed his feet off and resumed her comfortable pose, placing the bowl of popcorn on Brae's stomach for easy access. Then, she reached over and instead of taking the pillow right next to her, she reached for the one under Brae's head. "Mhmm this is very comfortable," She murmured with a grin as the movie began.

As she turned the door's handle, she walked into the cozy coloured room. The Room of Requirement. The blonde Malfoy had a feeling that someone was lost. She didn't know what had brought her up several flights of stairs. Premonition maybe? Or perhaps she saw it in the glass ball during Divination class. Scoff. Divination class. A class where they tried to see the future. Emma thought that the class was a joke.
Tip-toeing in quietly, she noted that the other people in the room were watching a movie or talking (though the people watching the movie looked oddly familiar). The she-snake hugged her warm coat around her shoulders more as she walked into the room. It was fairly warm in here. However, Emma's brown eyes caught sight of a familiar little blonde first year. Alice. Alice was here. The blonde made her way over to the cozy hideout where Alice was.
" Alice," she whispered and then soon realized that the young girl was asleep. She put a hand over her mouth and then took a seat by the first year, hoping that she hadn't woken her up. The blonde smiled softly at Alice as she took her warm coat off and put it over Alice as if she was tucking a younger sister into bed. Alice looked so angelic when she took a nap and Emma Malfoy couldn't help but smile at the adorable sight.

Alice woke with a start as something warm was tucked around her, something warm and furry and scented. She hadn't realized how cold she was until she had the comfort of warmth, but the coat was much to long. A long coat for a long girl, it seemed to be, and this was proven correct as the little first year stared up at the tall figure of Emma Malfoy, her favourite fifth year. The tall blonde was gazing at the little half-awake girl affectionately, as if she had been watching a little angel sleep. Alice rolled her eyes, but she was much too tired to argue so she kept quiet.
